Under a Mirkwood Moon Chapter 1
#1 of Stories
"What would you do, when the life you've lived comes to an end suddenly? How would you feel in those last few moments? Would you have any regrets? Would you have any unpaid debts, loans, or would you have some unfinished business to still deal with? Does life stop when you're gone?"
*A/N: * In this opening chapter, of Under a Mirkwood Moon, I've taken the time to figure things out. I've watched all the movies, read all the books, and just simply taken my time. I'm not being rushed to pop out another chapter like I was with the last story and I think that is where I went wrong. So as the story goes along, please keep in mind that I have a writing style that suits me, that doesn't confuse me and while words may be repeated, you'll just have to get used to it. So without further ado, here we go, into the first chapter!

Hitomi never thought in a million years, that her life would end, not in this way, not covered in blood and snow! But that's just how it happened. She knew then, as darkness began to creep into her line of vision, that she should of listened to her father when he advised against her going riding that crisp winter morning, but then again, she was such a headstrong kind of woman, that she never did listen, not even when she was racing her beloved mount Blackstar, who laid just a few feet away, all four legs shattered from the impact of being hit. But never in a million years, could she of guessed there'd be black ice under the freshly fallen snow on the road, nor could she of ever guessed that a snow plough would take that moment to come around the far bend down the road from them. She couldn't of guessed that her mount would loose traction and end up falling down, unable to get up as the truck's driver fought to bring the big vehicle to a stop only to slam into them, ploughing them several meters off the road. Hitomi's last thoughts were "damn it, dad's gonna be pissed!" before her world went black and life as she knew it, ended...well....at least in our world it did. See the Valor had plans all along for this brave woman, and in their time of need, they selfishly took her from a world that no longer needed her, to a world that did.
Hitomi came too as the dust in her world began to settle. She was gone. She knew this if anything else, she knew she wouldn't be waking up in her world, so when she came too, it was with a resounding throbbing in her temple that told her she was perfectly alive but that begged another question, where the hell was "here". Wincing as she slowly sat up, she looked around only to find that "here" was apparently in an open rocky like field, where her horse stood grazing.
