A Dragon's Diary

G.R.E.A.T.

That's how my day was today in a word. And yes, it is sarcasm.

Of course I had to wake up late today. How much was I late? Well, class was about to start when I got myself up from my nest. And it's an hour and a half flight to college. So I just decided to get a can of coffee from the nearby store and fly slowly, as I was for sure late.

So I flew, went to a store on my way to class, and grabbed a can of coffee. And you know what? I didn't bring my freaking card! I brought my wallet, but the card wasn't in there! Of course it had to be like that. That meant going back to home and retrieving it. Yay.

Once again, I flew towards college, buying the can of coffee, and then you know what happened? Some idiot, already drunk from the morning, crashed into me! That idiot made me lose my balance and crash down into the earth! Thank gods I wasn't high up on the sky! And that drunk guy, had to blame the crashing on me. He was so drunk that he couldn't be reasoned with, so I had to call the police. That cost me more time.

After dealing with the police and the drunk dragon, I was finally able to reach college without further problems. A class was already finished, and the second one was starting, which was just great. I missed a whole freaking class!

Thankfully, classes went by with no problem. My paycheck got in, during class, so I had to pay my mother. When I bought my phone, I agreed that I would pay her back, as I didn't have enough money. And today was the last payment. But I had two more loans, and those were from drinking with my friend, (I agreed to give him half of what we drank together) and the money I loaned from my mother. ($20) So by the time I got all of those sorted out, I only had $90 out of my $500 paycheck. Great. At least I paid for my phone now, so I won't have to worry about it again.

So I started on my way back home. I was so tired and frustrated, that I didn't take the normal route, which meant changing wind currents 4 times. (That way is faster, though.) I just took one of the currents I thought I knew, and flew along with it, trying to ease my nerves. And you know what? That was the wrong fucking current! It nearly took me out of the city, and into the mountains!

What would normally have took an hour and a half, I had to fly for three hours just because I took the wrong wind current. I was just so frustrated and tired when I finally reached home. Really thankfully, nothing really bad happened for the rest of the day. Hopefully tomorrow's going to be a better day than today was.
