Myra followed Michael, still getting used to her new body.

"So this is London?"

"Yes. Their house is the one on the end." Michael said as he took her hand. They rang the doorbell and Michael's dad answered,

"Where the fuck have you been? And who's this? When were you planning to introduce us?"

"I have been working. I noticed you burnt my house down. This is my new girlfriend, Myra."

"I did not burn your house down."

"It's what the official report said."

"How do you know there's an official report?"

"Because as the owner of the house I get to see who the fuck burnt it down! And it says you and mum!"

"Well you can stay 2 nights in the attic, but that's it. I have enough trouble with your mother."

"Good." Michael went inside followed by Myra and went straight upstairs to the attic.

It was a large attic but it was filled with old boxes. Michael started making space for him and Myra, who was looking through a box filled with old newspapers.

"Your planet confuses me." she said

"Well for the next 2 nights, it's your planet too. Don't sound like you come from another world."

"Sorry Michael." She replied, looking at her feet.

"It's ok. You can learn to be Human. I can't be a Dragon."

"Well you can. The armband can turn you into a Dragon"

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"I forgot they could do that."

"Well I'm not taking it off unless I need to."

There was shouting downstairs, followed by something breaking. Myra was concerned, Michael finished moving the last box and put some blankets on the floor.

"Right, to the bank Myra."

"What do they do?"

"Store money. I'm going to give you some."

Michael went out followed by Myra. They went into the city and Michael got out as much as he could.

"Here is £500. Don't use it all at once."

"I won't."

"Let's go to university."

They took a bus to Michael's university and he sat the exam while Myra explored the city. She was amazed at the things she could get. All the little things that weren't useful she bought. Michael had given her a list of things to buy so she could record everything, she got a cheap digital camera that could take film as well as pictures and the biggest SD card she could find. She didn't know what SD meant but she was sure Michael knew what he was talking about. After all he lived on this planet until a few days ago, and was doing electronics which she thought was about their technology. She had help getting the camera set up and took a test film and a test picture and was soon outside photographing everything she could. She took films of loads of things and filled up the SD card. She decided to go back to the University after a couple of hours. She asked someone where the exam was and waited outside of the hall. Just as the exam finished some people walked up to Myra,

"Who you waiting for?"

"Michael."

"That weird Dragon guy?"

"He's not weird. I believe him."

"Another lost soul, and it was a hot one too." All of them laughed.

"Hey -"

"Myra. I thought you went shopping."

Myra turned around and saw Michael approaching, "I did, but I filled up the camera."

"How big was the SD card?"

"64 it said."

"Crap. That was 64GB. You're quick."

"Excuse me. I was talking to her until you butted in Summers."

"Who's Summers?"

"Me." Michael said

"Yeah. So fuck off Summers. We don't want you here."

"Myra, please use the armband."

"Sorry Michael. I can't."

"Armband? What are you on Summers?"

"Shut up Tanner."

Tanner pushed Myra out of the way and came face to face with Michael. "What did you say?"

"I said shut up."

Tanner pushed Michael, Michael looked to Myra hoping she would scare them off.

"Enough!" Myra screamed

"What are you gonna do? You're not strong."

"No, not in this form."

"What do you mean this form? Are you on drugs?"

Myra touched her arm where the armband was and it deactivated, returning her to her Dragon form, "Leave Michael alone or I will kill you."

Everyone with Tanner ran away, Tanner was so terrified he couldn't move.

"Help me Michael." Tanner said as he looked at Michael.

"No." Michael said bluntly and punched Tanner on the nose, knocking him out.

"I always wanted to do that. I hated him. I'm going to take my electronics exam now. It starts in 15 minutes. You dump this stuff in the attic at my parents and go see this film. I think you will like it, it's got Dragons in it."

Myra smiled and took the tickets. She looked at the name of the cinema and kissed Michael. She turned on the armband and walked away with all her shopping in Human form. Michael watched her until she disappeared around the corner and went the other way to the other exam hall.

The sun was setting when Michael came to his parents' house. Myra opened the door and leaped at him and wrapped her arms around him. They went inside and into the attic, Myra turned off the armband and relaxed on the blanket as a Dragon. She put her head on her arms and said, "How were both exams?"

"Quite easy."

"I thought you were going to fail."

"I read some of Saiu's more technical books."

"Oh. That explains a lot Michael. Can I fly somewhere? I haven't flown in ages. The ship is too small."

"Yeah. Let's find my car and I'll take you to the forest."

They went downstairs as Michael's parents walked in the door. They turned and saw Myra as a Dragon. Michael's mum dropped a bag she was carrying.

"Michael. Front room. Now." Michael's dad said. Myra looked at Michael who followed his dad into the front room and closed the door behind him. Myra looked at Michaels mum, "Do you have anything to eat?"

"Errrr..yes." His mum said, in shock. Myra followed his mum into the kitchen.

"Could I ask your name?"

"Caroline."

"Thank you, Caroline."

"For what."

"Not doing what I think would do."

Caroline fiddled with the gas hob and realised she didn't have any matches. Myra helped the way she did best. She blew a small jet of fire out of her mouth and lit the hob. Carline was in shock for a few seconds before filling a pot with water and putting it on the hob. She took a tub out of the fridge and opened it, Myra drooled when the lamb was revealed. Caroline was putting it into the pot when a clawed hand stopped her. She looked at Myra who said, "I don't eat it cooked."

She looked at the meat then handed it to Myra, who ate it in 1 bite. Michael came out of the front room.

"Myra, are we going to the forest?"

"Yes." She said as she went to Michael and went to the door. She activated her armband and turned back into a Human. Michael's dad came out, "Where's that thing?"

"That thing happens to be a Dragon and she standing right there."

Caroline came into the hallway, "Where's that Dragon? I liked her."

Myra touched her arm and the Dragon stood in front of the three again. She touched the armband and went back into Human form. Michael opened the door and Myra followed. They found his car outside his parents' house. Michael got into the driver's seat and started to drive once Myra was in. They drove in total silence until they reached the forest. Myra turned off the armband and took off in a secluded clearing. Michael closed his eyes and thought about what he would do next. Myra was free at last! She dived and rolled and climbed again. She looked down at Michael and saw he fell asleep. She landed and curled up next to him, opening her wing so he was sheltered.

Michael woke up and stretched, his hand hitting something scaly. He looked and saw Myra sleeping, her body rise and fall with every breath. He looked around and saw 2 hikers looking at him.

"What? Haven't you ever seen a Halloween costume before?"

They walked off, muttering about drugs or something related to drugs. Myra woke up and stretched. Her claws dug holes into the ground as she yawned. She saw Michael looking around and just looked at him. She loved him, and she never wanted to leave him. He came back and kissed her, trading each others breaths. He retraced and coughed, "Lamb." He managed to get out between coughs. Myra giggled before turning back into a Human. They got into the car and drove back to Michael's parent's house. They opened the door and 2 police officers were in the way.

"We heard that you are harbouring a Dragon. Is this true?" One of them asked

"No officer." Michael replied. Myra remained as undetected as possible.

"Well we got a call from someone that there was a Dragon at this household."

Michael stormed over to his dad and attacked him. The police officers held back Michael who was steaming. Myra looked down and turned off her armband.

"It is me you want," she started in a calm voice, "Leave Michael alone."

"I'm sorry err. Ma'am. He assaulted this gentleman and we have to take him."

Myra's tone became very serious and she narrowed her eyes, "You will let Michael go."

"I'm sorry. I can't -"

"You will let him go." Myra growled.

"Ma'am, I -"

"Let him go!" she roared as she pinned both officers to the wall by their necks, their feet off the ground. Michael parents jumped back and Michael walked forward to Myra. "Myra, let them go."

She looked at him with tears in her eyes, "Not if they take you."

"What..if..we..let..both..of..you..go?" The officer said with great effort as he was being choked. Myra let both of them reach the ground. One of the officers said, "You must leave now, or we will take you in."

Myra nodded, "We will trouble your planet no more until we decide to reveal ourselves."

She followed Michael and brought the shopping down. They picked it all up and Myra activated her other armband. They disappeared in a white light.
