Who the hell does she think she is.....

Natani was furious as he walked through town and made his way through a crowd of people who were stopped, some moving through and some standing still to buy from vendors. He looked back to make sure Clovis didn't follow him and no sign of the half breed yet but better safe than sorry. After walking a bit from the shop, he took one more glance before slowing down and sighed. Why had she come to bother him now here in Lyn'knoll?

Meanwhile the half breed followed behind at a good distance, staying in the alley as she watched Natani glance around. Clovis was curious how this wolf Keidran had gained the confidence to be what he wanted to be. That and she had a sneaking suspicion that Natani was up to no good. Maybe blow her identity. Once she noticed Natani move again, Clovis would begin to follow in the shadows once more.

Down in the market square, where most of the vendors were located at, Natani took another look around and found a stand that sold some mana crystals. He really hadn't bought any since a few months ago and the ones he had now were slowly losing power. He had enough money on hand to buy a couple till Zen got paid or he found a job himself. Clovis watched Natani buy the mana crystals and really didn't find it amusing since he could possibly use them against her.

Is he trying to get back at me? Unless......he could be just buying new crystals for use later? _She thought and made sure to follow once the wolf moved again. _Never mind that. For now I'll just watch him closely...

On the other side of town Zen had made his way back home from work for the day, wondering if Natani was doing alright at home by himself. He hated to leave his brother there but they couldn't risk revealing where they were. He wandered through the square and spotted his brother just on the other side, furious he had disobeyed him and being out in the open."What are you doing here?! Didn't I say to stay in the house....? What if someone sees you??"

Natani turned quickly to the sound of his brother's voice and immediately went over after paying the vendor, taking Zen by the arm quickly into a nearby alley. "I couldn't just stay in that house any longer. I was going crazy just sitting in there or cleaning something. This is much better than being stuck inside all day. I didn't know there were so many mixed breeds out here in Lyn'knoll."

"You still don't know if someone would find you out here from the assassin's guild, little brother. We can't risk everything we worked for this past year. I finally got a stable job going and if you want to do the same by all means please do. Just be careful out in the opening." The older one explained, hurrying him and his brother home while watching around for anyone spying on them.

Clovis kept hidden near a vendor stand and paid for something she was looking at, making sure to keep following the brothers wherever they were going to. They were walking in the woods toward a cabin that belonged to them, her making note where the location would be so she could possibly come back at a later time. Seems they have stopped for the day and gone inside. If I could only speak to the younger brother without that one being around I could finally get some answers how to conceal this new form of mine.

A few days passed and Clovis would keep an eye on her targets the magi brothers. It seemed that Natani was the only one she was interested in, tracking where he went and where Zen would be all day until coming home in the evening. The younger brother finally got a job at the magic shop where the two first encountered in a long time, coming home much earlier than the older brother. Once catching onto their work patterns and time at home, the female would make sure to see Natani in the house before going up to the door and giving it a knock.

Natani, not even being home a couple minutes, heard the knocking and went over to the door to open it. He saw Clovis standing there waiting and patient, the female turning quickly once the door creaked open, "Oh good. You're here. Look there is something I think we should talk about. I know...we haven't really been friendly in the past but I could use your help...."

Why would she need my help.....? This has to be a trick into blackmailing me and getting us in trouble. Then again it looks like she's kind of serious....

"What's the catch? There always was a catch with you when it came to our jobs so why not now?" He asked and crossed his arms across his chest, giving a skeptical glance at Clovis.

"There is no catch this time. I just want to know....how did you conceal your feminine form from other people? I've been having a bit of trouble doing it and I could use a bit of help." She tried asking nicely, hoping that he wouldn't turn her down for the one thing she needed most.

Natani sighed and pulled her inside of the house, taking her into the kitchen and offering for her to sit down in a chair at the table while going to get a couple glasses and pouring something to drink. "Fine fine. I'll help you but I don't know how I will keep this a secret from my brother. He won't like that you've come around to me and seeing me behind his back."

"Don't worry. I got that under control and I won't let him see us together. Gods know he still hates me for what I tried to do to you both. Besides if he finds us I'll just tell him that you offered to help me.~" She playfully smiled and took the glass from his hand, looking at him as she took a drink from it. He did seem to grow up quite nicely and much more so than his brother.

Focus Clovis!

She needed to focus on the situation at hand: trying to hide that she was female and make sure that she could learn how to make the illusion that her feminine figure couldn't be seen. Natani sighed and took a drink from the glass, hoping he wasn't going to regret this later on and that his brother Zen wouldn't find out about their little rendezvous while he was at work.

"Fine then. I agree but you have to promise that I will tell him when the time is necessary. You are to leave an hour before he comes home and not a minute later. I'll help you as long as I need to but don't try to pull anything or I'll make sure you will pay. Agreed?"

"Agreed.~"

"Great let's get started."
