Araki's Adventures - Chapter One - Avenir, A New Dolphin Friend
The clear blue sky was all Araki, a beautiful blue dragon could see. She would fly around for hours without a care in the world. But nature wouldn't allow that. During a storm a bolt of lightning struck her wing knocking her unconscious and sending her falling into the ocean........
"Wha... Where am I?" She couldn't see anything, but could tell she was surrounded by water. "Am I underwater? How can I still breathe? HELLO?! IS ANYONE THERE?!" There was no audible response. She started crying "I'm going to die underwater, with nobody around, because of a damn storm.".
"You're not going to die." I heard.
"Who are you? Where are you?"
"Easy. Just open your eyes." And so I did. But everything was blurry at first. It took me a while to realize that there was a beautiful silver dolphin right in front of me.
"You're going to be fine. You just need to rest."
"How can I breathe? Dragons aren't supposed to be able to breathe underwater. Are we?"
"No. But we dolphins can do some amazing stuff sometimes. Just rest for a while and you'll be fine in no time." I started to like this dolphin. I took his advice and dozed off for what felt like an eternity but was only a few hours.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Avenir" Yours?
"Araki"
"A beautiful name for a beautiful Dragon" I started to like this dolphin even more. "What happened to you?"
"Lightning."
"And you're not dead? I've seen many fall to the force of nature. Yet your almost healed."
"Yeah about all this. How can I repay you?"
"You don't have to."
"I want to." I was hoping he gave no other choice than what I wanted.
"You really don't owe me anything"
"I Really want to." I motioned for the slit on his belly.
"Well, if you so insist..." He nudged me just hard enough to push me backwards up against a rock. And in no time flat, he was up against me.
"Well then." I said "what first?

We stayed there next to each other for another eternity and eventually fell asleep. When I awoke, Avenir was still next to me sleeping. Now I know what love feels like.
He woke up a few seconds later "I have to go find food you know." I told him
"I know. Just promise you'll be back."
"Nothing can stop me."
I licked his face and rose to the air one more time. "I won't let anything stop me."
I landed to find food in a grassland area. I saw a herd of some afin (animals that closely resemble antelope). I can catch those easy. But as soon as I started moving, there was a sound behind me. I turned and saw a face in the grass.
"Who are you?"
