Faust tapped on his bearded chin as he looked on his computer screen, checking out the invite that had just been set to him by one of his friends in the gaming community. It was for a free-to-play game called Nexus Wars that was still in its beta, which were two things he normally stayed away from when it came to his choice in entertainment. Tyler had been adamant that this was the game to play and at the very least he promised that he would play it for a little while. "First microtransaction or ad that pops up I'm leaving," he grumbled to himself as he clicked the install link.

While he waited for the game to download and install itself he took a few seconds to scroll down the game page and see what the reviews were for it. He was surprised when he saw that so far the game rated as overwhelmingly positive with a hundred percent rating, and at first he thought that it had been a mistake or some bot program until he actually read some of them. Everyone was raving about the game and how interactive and immersive it was, some saying that it would be the last game that they would ever play. Before he could get to the second page of them, however; there was a notification window that said everything was installed and ready to go.

"Well that was rather fast," he said as he clicked on the load link and put on his VR goggles. "Not sure if that's good or bad yet." Once he had transferred the screen from his monitor to the goggles he pressed play once more and watched a rather interesting cutscene that depicted the whole story of ten brothers vying for dominance of a place called The Nexus Realm. It was an interesting bit of lore and more importantly the graphics were amazing, to the point where he wondered if he had enough juice in his computer to keep up with it as it got to the screen where he could choose the one he wanted to follow.

Though Tyler had chosen Haleon as his, the robotic eagle winking at him as he went over him on the selection screen, he decided to play someone different so that they could fight one another. While all the options were particularly interesting he finally decided on a demon dragon character named Renzyl with rubber skin. He had always had a soft spot for dragons and such, so being able to fight under one would be just as interesting as the screen shifted to a second selection screen, this time it was the General he would follow, which would no doubt determine what kind of unit he'd be in the game. It didn't take long before he found the heavy hitter group which was under the one called Berza, the heavily muscled, bronze-scaled naga who gave him a thumbs up when he selected him.

As he got one last glance at the General chose he couldn't help but think back to his human body and how radically different it was. While the guy on the screen was a beefcake he was nothing but flab, something that he wanted to change but could never really find the motivation to do. Though he wanted to find a nice girl, preferably someone with the same interest in games as him, he knew that was not going to be likely with his body, so he just... never tried. But that feeling quickly passed as his new leader Berza disappeared from the screen and the lobby materialized around him.

Once again Faust was impressed by the graphics of the buildings and avatars that surrounded him. Just as he was about to take a look around to see how to do basic actions such as walk and access his inventory, a golden gift appeared in front of him and he remembered that he got a reward from Tyler for using his referral to get into the game. He unwrapped it and found that he could have a choice, either a better weapon, a magic shield that floated around him, an upgrade to his perception that was a pair of eyes, and a cobra hood. "Pffft, like I even have to choose," he said as he picked up the assault rifle.

Already he could feel the upgraded power in his hands as he stroked down the barrel of the gun. He was always a fan of guns and the weapons in every game, to the point that was where he was focused on that over armor even if it's to his detriment. Once he had figured out how to equip it as his primary he went up to the leaderboard and looked at the faction leaderboard while waiting for the next match to show up. It took a few seconds for him to figure out how everything worked, just in time for the next train to show up.

"Whoa, hey there," another creature said as Faust felt a clawed hand on his shoulder, looking up to see a lithe latex lizardman with only a few human pieces left to his avatar. "You forgot to equip your body mods, you really should before the match starts. Trust me, you're going to want the anti-corruption properties that they give you."

"Oh, I don't equip mods like that," Faust replied as he held up his shiny new gun. "Have gun, will travel, more fun for me, you know?"

To his surprise the lizardman just sighed and shook his head, a slight frown on his muzzle as he looked down the track to see if the train to the next match was coming. It was an odd reaction to be sure, and as Faust looked around it seemed to be shared by everybody in earshot. More than once he heard them say something about him being corruptor bait, whatever that meant, and that they hoped he would be happy with whatever faction got him next. But despite that Faust didn't care, instead he just continued to hold his gun and wait for the match to begin.

When the train got there he and all the others got on it and were whisked away to their destination, which from the look on the picture that accompanied the match description was on some sort of beach level. It was a deathmatch, one of the few types of game modes that he really liked when it came to this sort of game. There weren't any points to capture or silly objectives to accomplish, all that he needed was the skill to take out the other player before they did the same to him. As he looked around the train he saw that most of the creatures on it had upgraded weapons like he did as well as their body mods, though he also saw one or two new players like him who hadn't equipped anything yet but their starter weapon.

Once they had gotten to the platform Faust and the others were led to a small city square in the middle of what would be best described as a resort destination. Everyone loaded up and got ready to go as they started in groups of their respective units, the other nagas looking down at him and scoffing. Faust just gave them a smirk and got ready, waiting for the countdown timer to hit zero before going out with the others. As soon as they did they immediately started taking fire from the other side of the rather small map from a group of creatures that looked like they were made out of stone and other such materials.

Faust immediately started to show why he was one of the best first person shooters in the gaming world as he scored headshot after headshot, taking down the statuesque creatures as they tried to overrun his squad. More than once he glanced over to the other nagas who looked at him in surprise and also slightly impressed as he continued to rack up points for their team. He didn't let that get to him, though, he made sure to remain as focused as possible on the game and to make sure he didn't take any shots from the other side. His preoccupation with the enemies in front of him was so intense that he failed to notice the corruptor from his side jamming their member into one of the creatures he had brought down before, the stone turning to rubber as he continued to fire.

The fighting remained intense for the next few minutes, and when it was finally over a loud horn rang out and those that were playing immediately stopped firing and began to walk back to their respective sides. Faust quickly figured out why as he accidently pulled the trigger while standing back up only to hear it click loudly. It was likely a feature of the game to prevent cheating, he thought to himself as he gathered with the others back in the city square where a portal had opened up back to their lobby. As he waited for his turn to go through something did seem... off about the whole thing, like there were more people in the group he had gone with than before. Before he could do anything about it, though, it was his turn and he stepped through the gate to once more be in the lobby.

As soon as his foot touched ground on the other side Faust got a notification message that showed his place in the game as well as his rewards. He grinned as he saw that he had beaten a majority of the ones that had been using the body mods in order to get higher scores. The other thing he found he had gotten was some upgrades to his grenades as well as a new body mod of his own, the latter of which he promptly tossed in the bin, and finally a piece of wall art that looked like a wall scroll of the rubber demon dragon that was the leader of the faction. The last one confused him a bit as he didn't appear to have any sort of digital room or anything like that in order to hang it up, but when he exited out of that screen and looked in his inventory it wasn't there, anyway.

"Must have been a beta glitch..." Faust said to himself just as he got an in-game call from his friend Tyler. "Hey buddy, how are you? Just trying out the game you sent me."

As Faust stood there he was suddenly surprised to see an avatar appear in front of him, a robotic raven male whose feathers clinked slightly as he walked towards him. "You know we could have fought together if you had just picked Haleon like I told you," the synth avian said with a smirk. "I'm torn between the sadness that we can't do that except on faction battles and the happiness that I might get a chance to claim you for our side in a much more fun fashion."

"Well considering how consistently I beat you in games like these, I'd like to see you try," Faust replied with a chuckle. "Even with those avatar modifications of yours I bet that I could take you down single-handedly."

"And I see that you're going the usual no armor route yourself," Tyler replied as he pressed a finger against Faust's avatar chest. "You really should reconsider such a stance... while I can't really explain it to you, those avatar modifications are amazing in more ways than one."

Faust just smirked and shook his head. "I already tossed my mods, Tyler," he said, causing the other gamer to balk slightly at the statement. "Look, I'm already level four just from one match and got a number of weapon proficiency bonuses, if anything I'm doing this as a handicap so that guys like you have a chance."

Tyler just scoffed and the two continued to talk for a bit about what they were going to do before Faust decided to go offline for a bit to make himself something to eat. His friend told him he'd probably be on when he came back and Faust nodded before he disconnected himself from the system and took off his gaming gear. "Well that was more fun than I thought," he said as he saw the Nexus Wars flash on his screen. "Tyler just might be onto something there."

As he hoisted himself out of his chair like he normally did he immediately recognized something being wrong as he nearly flung himself into his computer. Normally it took that much effort just to get him on his feet, and not only did he feel stronger, but also that he weighed less. When he looked down at himself he didn't notice much of a change at first, but the more he looked at himself the more he felt... bulkier, like the fat that he had carried on him for so many years had somehow sublimated into muscle. It couldn't be possible, he thought to himself as he went to his bathroom connected to his room to look in the mirror.

There did seem to be a noticeable change in his appearance as Faust examined himself, but the longer he stared the more he just shook his head in disbelief. It had to have been staring at all those creatures, particularly his faction that just oozed muscle and masculinity as they fought. While he wasn't gay he certainly appreciated a decent male form, likely because he hadn't had one himself in forever, but as he walked back into his bedroom he just concluded that his mind was playing tricks on him. When he started to get his things to go out and get food that answer started to get less likely as he noticed something on his wall hanging over his computer desk.

"No way..." he said as he nearly dropped his keys to the floor. What he saw was the wall art that he had just gotten from the game hanging there. "How?"

Faust approached the piece of art like it was a ghost, his fingers trembling slightly as he reached out to touch it. Even though he knew that it shouldn't be possible he could feel the material under his fingers and the edge of the picture when he lifted it up. Part of him wanted to tear it down just to see what happened, but he found himself unable to bring himself to do it. Instead he just shook his head and left his room, thinking that maybe he was hungry and hallucinating...

A few hours later Faust returned to his bedroom with the half-empty bag of fast food in hand and saw that despite eating and taking a walk around that poster was still there on his wall, the glowing red eyes of the shiny demon dragon seemingly staring down at him as he went to his computer. One of the places he had gone to while he was out was a gaming store to ask about Nexus Wars and if the people there had ever heard of anything like it or strange occurrences. Most of them just shook their head, but one guy seemed to know what was going on and just gave him a creepy grin before saying that he should really equip those avatar mods to get the full experience of the game. That was enough not only to send him back to his room, but also put him off his appetite as he sat down in his chair.

The second he looked at his screen he sighed as he saw that he had left the window open for Nexus Wars the entire time. Even though he thought he had closed it the desire for food and then the surreal situation that happened caused him to forget about it. Even though some strange things were going on he couldn't help but remember what happened after the first match he'd played. There was also the fact that Tyler had sent him a message that he wanted to get in on a match with him.

In the end the siren call of kicking butt in a video game was too much for Faust to resist and he put on his visor once again before diving back into the game. The first thing he saw when he went back into the lobby was that the starter mods that he tossed away had returned, only to once more toss them away before heading up to the match board. He contacted Tyler about getting into a match together and saw that the next time Renzyl's faction would go up against Haleon in a deathmatch was about an hour from now. The two made a date on the battlefield, and while he waited for that match to come up Faust decided to play a few more matches while he waited.

By the time it got close he had completed quite a few more matches, Faust not only keeping up with his score, but also gaining a stack of coins in the process. He wanted to make sure that he was properly equipped for the fight with his friend, so with a few minutes to spare before the match got filled he went to the store in the lobby in order to find something to buy. The entire thing had an open air market feel to it and when he went around he found that there was an area that was specifically tailored to those that were under Berza's banner. There was even a brilliantly scaled naga behind the counter who almost seemed to look at him in confusion when he came up to him.

"I... uh..." The shopkeeper said as he looked Faust over.

"What?" Faust replied as the creature continued to stare at him in slight shock.

"Oh, its nothing," the naga replied as he quickly attempted to recover. "I just... it's not very often that I see someone of your level come in here without any avatar mods. If that's what you're looking for then I have a variety of new mods that I think you might like! I would highly recommend the diamond scale skin mod, it has a chance of reflecting back enemy attacks, plus they're very beautiful to look at-"

"I'm good on that front," Faust said as he waved his hand at the naga, trying not to grin when he saw the serpentine face fall. "I was actually looking towards something with a bit more of a rocket launcher or minigun flavor. Is there anything that I can get with the coins I have?"

The shopkeeper gave him a weary look and opened the weapons list for Faust, who scrolled through several options before narrowing down the list to explosive-based weapons. Though he had gotten quite a stack of coins there wasn't too much that he could afford at that juncture. "Hey, I don't suppose that I could sell any of that wall art that I got," Faust said as he looked at a particularly shiny shoulder-mounted four-rocket launcher. "I just got a few more pieces that I wasn't... exactly comfortable with."

Faust felt himself blush slightly despite himself as he remembered the poster that he had just gotten from his last match. It was of Berza, the muscular rubber naga was coiled around lizardman that he identified as Sivilath, the two of them in a rather provocative pose as they hung over one another. Before he had gone into the market he had looked back in his room and saw that it was hanging right there on his wall.

"I'm afraid that the artwork isn't something that can be traded in for credits," the rubber naga said with a slight smirk. "It's a reward for doing particularly well in the matches, which given the fact that you're still not using any avatar mods you must be doing really well."

The gamer felt his chest swell slightly with pride at the compliment, though he was sad that he couldn't get any more coins for his other rewards. With his limited funds he was still able to buy a decent rocket launcher, and after the naga had taken his coins he set the heavy weapon on the counter. Faust couldn't help but chuckle to himself as he grabbed the weapon and put it away in his pack. As he walked out with his new toy the shopkeeper naga watched him leave before he thudded his head down on the wood.

"It appears we have ourselves a rather stubborn player," a voice said in the darkness as a bronze-scaled naga came out from the shadows.

"I'm sorry Master Berza," the shopkeeper naga said as he felt a hand on his shoulder. "I tried to push the avatar mods on him but he doesn't seem to want any of it. I have failed you..."

"You didn't fail me," Berza replied, his lips curling into a fanged sneer. "This is why this thing is in beta, Haleon has the information that we need from him in order to tweak the world, which means all we have to do is deal with him..."

About fifteen minutes later Faust was on the field once more, looking over the ancient ruins that was their battlefield as they all saw the glint of creatures flying around. While they weren't the only faction that was in this particular match it was the one that everyone was able to see. As soon as the horn started Faust moved forward with a few others, holding out his rocket launcher while they moved towards the area where they had seen Haleon's group. While Faust was looking for Tyler in particular, he was still going to keep his gamerscore up.

The first creature that they saw was one of Haleon's heavy warriors, the eagle hovering overhead as he began to fire off his minigun into a different faction. This was Faust's chance to use his new toy, and after taking a few seconds to aim he fired it, scoring a direct hit and causing the avatar to spin out before crashing into the ground. He got a high-five from the naga next to him as he saw several of the units that were called corruptors go over to where the avian android landed. What happened after that Faust didn't care, he was going to push forward in order to take out his friend.

A few minutes later his radar finally pinged with his friend's signature, which meant that the stealthy creature had finally broken it so that he could be seen. When Faust went down into the underground tunnel he knew that his friend like to ambush, his assault rifle at the ready as he switched on his flashlight attachment. Though he needed to be cautious he also knew that it wouldn't be long before Tyler moved, especially if he was somehow able to tell he was coming as he moved in on his position. After a few more seconds he finally saw movement and he rushed the area in order to take his friend by surprise, only to have him be the one in shock as he nearly dropped his gun.

There he saw Tyler, but he wasn't alone in the small room. There was someone that looked like they were covered in zebra stripe-patterned zentai against the wall and had equine features to match, though what was shocking was the position the two were in. The metal-feathered raven had his cock stuck halfway down the cloth creature's throat. Even though the illumination of the light revealed his position, his friend didn't seem to care as the cloth of the other creature began to turn to metal.

"You always could get the drop on me," Tyler said with a grin as he turned to look at him. "So what are you going to do now? Let me finish converting my prize or interrupt me, and score some points with Modino's faction along with a few points for yourself? Better choose quick, his corruption bar is filling up fast."

Faust was at a loss for what to do as he saw that the zentai creature's corruption bar quickly fill as he began to suck in earnest on the cock in front of him. The gamer was at a loss... he hadn't known Tyler was gay nor did he care, but did he really give him the referral code to some sort of gay-themed game? How had he not noticed anything like this before? Yet as he continued to watch the robotic raven continue to thrust his hips into the transforming equine he found himself unable to tear away from the sight... especially since he saw Tyler's score skyrocketing from the conversion.

Before Tyler could finish, though, he suddenly was pushed backwards as Faust unloaded his clip into him, the other creature gasping as the metallic member was pulled out of his muzzle. With the raven unable to fight back he went down quickly. Much to his surprise the bird's beak smirked before he disappeared, his respawn counter going from thirty to zero in a second. That just left him with the zebra creature on the floor whose countdown just restarted once more.

With what he just saw Faust realized that he could try and... claim the other player as his friend had tried to do, but could he really bring himself to do it? Would he have to do it just like Tyler was, and more importantly, could he do something like that? He looked down at himself and seemed to realize that it was the first time he had looked at his avatar. Though he didn't have a mirror handy a feel with his hands made him realize that it was his body... but a better version of it. When he looked back at the other player he could see the lust in his eyes, which was the first time anyone had really looked at him like that as he felt his arousal begin to build.

"Whoa... good job there," a voice behind him caused Faust to spin around and draw his weapon, only to see that it was one of the corruptors that he had seen before. "Look, I know this is probably your catch but we don't have much time left in the round, do you mind if I corrupt him so we can get him fully changed?"

Even though Faust continued to stand there dumbfounded he found himself nodding, the latex lizardman grinning at him before going up to the zebra creature. There were still a few seconds left on the respawn clock for the player, but the second the corruptor touched them it stopped once again. The lizardman turned the creature over and exposed his tailhole and when Faust turned around the other guy told him to keep watch. For the next few seconds there was the sounds of grunts, hisses, and bodies sliding and slapping together. When he turned back around he saw that the zentai zebra was gone, replaced with a similarly-patterned rubber raptor that panted and gasped after being obviously sexually satisfied.

Despite not having an active role in the conversion, when the match ended Faust found himself receiving the achievement for it. It came with a few other rewards but he didn't see them, instead he just quickly closed out the window and logged off of the game. Once he was finished shutting down his computer completely he sighed and shook his head, he still had a hard time processing what had just happened, still seeing the bizarre scene unfolding in his mind's eye. Even though he hadn't watched the second conversion he could still imagine that rubber creature bent over the other male while the equine's face was twisted in pure pleasure from his corruption.

Faust rubbed his face as he tried to imagine anything else but what he had just been thinking and decided that it was time to go to bed. As he turned around and went into the bed he noticed two things; the first was that his body now resembled his avatar even more with extra muscle and less fat to the point where he actually started to look good, and the second was that he hadn't realized that he had collected yet another piece of art that caused him to frown. This one was also Renzyl, but now it was also a silver-scaled raptor with mirror eyes that he recognized as Chrono and the two of them were completely naked with their hands on one another's cocks.

"You have to be kidding me..." Faust said as he saw the two handsome creatures just hanging there over his bed as he stared up at it. The more he stared at it the more he realized that he had been growing more aroused the longer he looked at it. His arousal had not been slaked since he saw Tyler face-fucking that other creature with his cock and he hadn't even realized it. Was something going on with the game that caused him to start thinking that way?

As he began to stroke himself the reservations he had about such a thing began to manifest in his mind. He let out a soft grunt as he began to stroke himself, imaging those other rubber reptiles around him and that fit form of his. Faust licked his lips as those normally innocuous avatars grew increasingly sexual while he went around the lobby. Then he also saw Tyler standing over him triumphantly, putting himself in the position that the zebra had been in with that metallic cock being pushed into his mouth...

It didn't take long for the pent-up male to bring himself to climax, the male letting out a cry as his hips bucked up slightly. He laid there in sexual satisfaction as he looked up at that poster before drifting off to sleep. The last mental image in his mind was those glowing red eyes and black latex body to continue to spark the already satiated lust before he finally went to sleep.
