School
Pulling my mind back to reality, I saw that my room was filled with a thick smoke.
"Hey dude!" I heard Slay yell, pounding on the door, "get up, you don't wanna be late for the first day of school, do ya?" after he said this, he opened the door, and started coughing.
"Oh... hey slay," I said groggily, "what's up, is it already time for school?" I asked him.
"WHAT'S UP!? Ryu, have you been getting high in here?" he said with disbelief. "I thought you were against that stuff."
"drugs? No way, I don't even know where this stuff came from!?" after I said this, the smoke drifted out of the room.
"Well, if you weren't smoking, where did this stuff come from?"
"Err... if I told you, you wouldn't believe me. Now get lost, I need to get dressed, and you don't need my pretty face distracting you all day." I said, walking over to close the door.
"Heh, you wish."

As I walked into sorcery class, I saw that the teacher was a human man, of about 21. I quickly found my seat, and to my surprise, I saw the kid who Slay punched yesterday, he gave me a dirty look. For some reason, he stuck out from the other 50 students in the class room.
"All right class, I am professor Rufus. If you look in your desks, you will each find a spell book, feel free to look over-"
"What the hell? This shit's not even English!" the bully yelled"
"... yes, and that's enough out of you, Max. The books are in Latin, or, the language of the spell blade. In addition to the basic gestures, you will be learning some basic Latin." He said.
"Man, that's bull shit, my brother is a spell blade, and he said you don't even need that 'Latin' bull shit!" Max yelled out.
"One more crack out of you, Max, and you will be out of here like that." he said, still maintaining an air of calmness, "As I was saying before the interruption, you will need to learn some Latin so you can do things like this." He helled up a piece of paper and said, "IGNUS PAPYRUS!" He yelled, and the paper burst into flame, as the whole class, with the exception of Max, watched in amazement.
"Now, before I go on, who knows any spells?" me and three other students raised their hands.
"Ok, then I am sure you can tell me the three types of magicks a spell blade uses?" scanning the four of us, he pointed to one of us and said, "Marc, name them."
Marc was a young wolf, he got up hesitantly and said, "Err... the three types are black magicks, white magicks, and... sagacity?" he said, before falling back into his seat.
"Very good, now for those of you who don't know, very few people only come into class only seeking sorcery, most people's main interest falls into sword play, which is why sorcerers are often called spell blades. Who hear is also taking a sword, or any other weapon for that matter, class?" Me and forty other students raised our hands, incredibly Max was among those of us who did. "Very good, now which one of you would like to show us what you know of spell craft?" looking around, I saw that no one else was raising there hand, so I did so. "Very good, Ryu, come up to the front, and practice on this thing." He said, pulling out a practice dummy.
"Ok, I guess I'll give it a shot." I said. I walked up, and started picturing a fire in my mind. Drawing on my inner power, I started to feel my head growing warm. When it felt like my head was about to burst into flames, I yelled, "IGNUS PILLUM!" as I yelled this, a ball of fire appeared, and flew at the dummy.
"Very good, Ryu. Now show me an ice spell." Rufus said.
I started to picture a glacier, and then started to draw on my internal reserves again. Soon my head felt like it would freeze over, and then I yelled out "GLACIE PILLA!" Then an ice ball flew and struck the target.
"VERY GOOD! Now quickly, give me thunder!" Rufus yelled.
I started to imagine a storm cloud, drawing on my internal energies, I felt my head tingle. When my head felt like it was about to buzz off my head, I yelled "FULMEN VIR!" that was a mistake. By yelling vir, the spell thought I wanted it to go towards the nearest man, which was Rufus.
"CRUSTA!" he yelled, and a barrier showed up that caught the thunder. "Very good, that one packed quite a punch! But next time, make sure you get your target right, thunder is very difficult to control, unless you are very specific as to who you want to attack, anything can happen. Now, before we conclude this lesson, do you have any... special spells you know? A sagacity spell perhaps?"
"Err... yeah, I guess, but I'm not sure if I can pull it off."
"Don't worry, if you mess up, I will help you control it, or heal you if something goes wrong." He said, trying to reassure me.
"Ok, what could go wrong?" I said. I started to picture a giant ball of flame, and then drew on my energy to bring it to life. "MAGNUS MALLUS INFERNOS!" I yelled, and a giant ball of flame appeared.
"Wow, it's certainly advanced, but still a regular spell, do you have anything that would add your own flair to it?"
"Yeah, it's almost done." I said, I then started to imagine a giant bird. I started to draw on my energy, when I started to feel a bit empty. "Err... IGNUS MUTATIO AD AVIS!" the flame started to transform itself into a bird, but then my mental connection with it snapped. I had run out of energy. "GAAAAH!" the pain was excruciating. Then the deformed bird exploded, knocking me against the wall.
"MEDICO RYU!" Rufus yelled, and the pain I felt drifted away. "That was very impressive Ryu, I am certain that if you had not run out of energy, that spell would have been magnificent. That is all for today class, go to your second period."
