Stormy gets a brand new mod in order to further wreck destruction, only now it's not just limited to the digital world...

Edited by texotic

As the sun began to set Stormy walked down the street with her four new guardians around her, their glowing blue eyes scanning the area for threats as she walked to the modder's house once more. All four had on the neoprene suits that they were wearing in the store, their old clothes no longer close to fitting their expanded frame as they walked. Most of those who weren't her drones either averted their eyes or looked away from her, no doubt due to the monstrous nature of her new bodyguards. None of that mattered to her, anyway, those that did so were just yet to be converted in her mind as she walked up to the small building and rang the bell.

Stormy waited there for about a minute before the door opened, a lemur poking his head out to see the wolfess before he grinned. "Ah, you must be the goddess that I've heard so much about," he said as he opened the door. "Why don't you come in? I uh... have a place for your body guards there to take a rest while we get down to business."

As Stormy ducked down in order to avoid scraping her horns against the wood of the doorframe she could see the lemur staring not only at her, but her bodyguards as well. At first she thought it was out of shock or awe, but as he ran his tongue along his muzzle while watching the other neoprene-clad creatures come in and sit down in his living room she began to suspect it was something else. Once the four had been situated the lemur motioned for her to head down towards the basement. With this guy not being one of those that worshipped her and being a modder that worked off the grid, the wolfess kept her guard up while heading down the stairs to the lemur's self-described workshop.

"You don't know how many years of my life I've been waiting for something like you to come along," the lemur said as she looked around to see electronics and screens spread out through the entire basement area. "When I joined the modding community I had a few specific ideas in mind that I wanted to do in the virtual world, but was constantly shut down. Oh, my name is Hal by the way."

"Stormy," the wolfess replied as she pressed her hand against the roll of neoprene that was against one of the walls. "Though I'm sure you already know that."

"You better believe that I do," Hal replied as he breathed a sigh of contentment and stretched out his arms at her. "Look at you... you must be, what, almost eleven feet tall right now? Plus look at those horns and that thick tail... real-life modification. That was my dream, and now that you're here it's one that can finally be realized."

"Look Hal," Stormy quickly said as she looked over at him. "I'm here for one reason only, which is to get the technology that would help me break into the private server of the modders. I was told you have the technology to move the T10 line, if you do let's get that and get going, and if you don't then you better hope I don't decide to rampage all over your virtual world."

The lemur just chuckled and shook his head as he held up a neoprene suit. "If there's one thing I don't do it's disappoint, now if you'd take a look at this-" he stopped as the fabric slipped out of his hands, drawn over to Stormy who summoned it to her with a flick of her wrist. "Whoa... technokinesis, very cool... anyway, everything that you need is right there."

"It's just a sensory suit," Stormy replied as her muzzle turned into a frown while looking over the shiny material. "It's not even a very good one at that, I can hardly sense the circuits in here."

Hal chuckled and motioned for her to put it on, turning away as Stormy began to peel off her already stretched to the limit neoprene suit. "That's because the circuits are all nanite based," he explained, the wolfess pausing when she heard that. "Not only does this give the material itself more give for when you change, but I also combined it with those recycler nanites they use at the dump for material conversion. With this suit, your code, and the abilities that you got from The Tehcnomancer, you should be able to transform yourself into a proper monster that doesn't need bodyguards."

"So... with this suit I'll be a real life kaiju?" Stormy asked as her hands ran over the material.

"You'll be the fiercest virus to ever manifest outside of the virtual world," Hal confirmed. "Of course you're still going to have limits, there's only so much technology can do to push up the boundaries of biology, but you're definitely going to turn a few heads. Plus the best part of the matter conversion nanites is that you can use anything you're touching for raw material, including..."

"...concrete," Stormy finished as she slid the smooth suit onto her body. It was clearly made for her, and even then it was a bit snug as she wiggled her hands and feet through the holes of the wetsuit-like garb. "If this is true I won't even have to dig..." she looked over at the grinning lemur and narrowed her eyes at him. "What do you get out of it?"

"Well I want you to make me big, too," the lemur replied as he pulled off his long-sleeved shirt to reveal the shine of neoprene underneath. "While the tech is sound I never got the coding right where I could do something like this, but with your stuff it's going to be almost instinctual. I've been small all my life, now is the time to literally join the big leagues."

Stormy chuckled as she adjusted the last of her suit on her, looking as the lemur stood there resolute. "Well if your invention works then I'm sure I can do the same for you," she reassured, causing the lemur's eyes to shine with happiness. "Of course you won't nearly be as big as myself or The Technomancer you mentioned before, but as far as those that I've consumed and converted you'll definitely be head and shoulders above them."

The lemur continued to thank her profusely as the two walked up the stairs, once more Stormy being careful to watch her head as they made their way to the living room. Once they had collected her bodyguards the six of them moved back out into the streets. Though the wolfess wanted to try out her new suit now she knew that this wasn't the place for such a test, luckily she knew just the place where they could go...

About half an hour later Stormy and the others walked through the abandoned military site, the parking lot concrete cracking under their combined weight as she looked around the isolated area. Under her feet she could sense the T10 line buried down there that the military had tapped into in order to conduct their operations. All she had to do was take that trunk and connect it to the main hub that fed into the public network, and from there the options would be endless. With a little instruction from Hal she placed her hands on the surface of the stone beneath her and used her abilities to activate the nanites stored within the suit.

At first nothing seemed to happen, though Stormy could feel the power building up inside her it didn't seem to translate to anything outside of her own form. But as she continued to kneel there a layer of dust began to swirl up around her hands and slowly coiled up her arms. She thought it might have been the dust on the concrete itself until she could see the stone beneath her begin to dissolve, realizing that her suit was disintegrating and absorbing the ground beneath her. Both Hal and her bodyguards backed away as the material began to swirl around her more intensely, enveloping her entire body as she began to sink down.

Stormy grinned as she felt the nanites infused in the neoprene continue to take in the mass, waiting for it to translate to more growth in her own form. As she watched; however, it wasn't her that was growing, it was the suit itself as the edges of the neoprene seemed to stretch and cover more of her. While it wasn't what she had expected she figured that it was part of the suit's process, though there was a moment of doubt as it began to creep up her neck as well. As she scanned the nanites to see what they were doing she quickly delved to what was happening; in order for her body to transform safely and all at once the suit had to make sure it happened all simultaneously, which meant that she was about to be completely encased...

As the tornado of material continued to fly around her it began to expand, the cloud of carefully controlled nanites consuming everything from trash cans to the wiring that fed the now-defunct mall. With her initial fear quelled Stormy spurred on the changes, pushing the nanites to help fulfill her desires as she felt the thick neoprene continue to spread. In little time her hands and feet were completely covered and as it crept up her muzzle it began to form into a type of hardened neoprene mask complete with tinted lenses that covered her eyes. As the neoprene covered up her horns data began to appear in front of her eyes, things that she could only sense before were not available to her as the concrete beneath her turned to dirt.

The second that the last of her body was covered was when her first growth spurt happened. Much like in the virtual world it came in the form of pure pleasure as her already impressive form expanded, drawing in more of the material around her as her muscles and bones thickened. She stood up and arched her back as her already semi-mutated tail grew even longer, stretching out so far it could wrap around her expanding hips twice as she let out a roar. Outside the vortex nearly half the parking lot was engulfed, and as the nanites drew in more material the glass and steel of the building began to buckle and break. None of that mattered to Stormy, though, the only thing on her mind was continuing to fuel her growth as her outstretched hands grew even bigger while her fingers popped as they lengthened.

"More!" Stormy roared as her fangs lengthened with a second set growing in right behind them. "I am destruction incarnate!" She let out a loud, booming laugh as her back muscles twitched and bulged before they expanded outwards, becoming neoprene covered wings as a line of spikes ran down from the top of her head to the tip of her new tail. Though she wanted to continue to absorb and consume there was suddenly a warning from the nanites indicating she had reached the limits of her transformation, automatically deactivating and returning to her suit.

As the material that had been dissolved fell away into a cloud of dust Hal looked up in awe at what it revealed, the glowing blue eyes of the neoprene covered creature looking down at her. He guessed she was at least twenty feet tall, probably more as she was standing in a crater of her own creation that they stood on the edge of. Her body was packed with muscle that was perfectly proportioned, giving the monster kaiju wolf a fierce and powerful look without bordering on the grotesque. With the shine of the neoprene that covered her entire body and the lines of glowing blue that ran through it just the same, she look like she came straight out of an anime or video game as her hand reached down into the dirt. With a single swipe of her huge hands she removed the last layer of dirt and exposed the junction box that had the T10 cable, an evil grin forming on her huge muzzle as she stared at her prize...

Inside an asset that was designed to look like an old medieval forge a squat badger avatar was working away at his latest project, a sword that he had called Stormkiller when he was naming it in the code. He, along with many of the modders in the community, had been working tirelessly in order to attempt to free the city hub of the threat that loomed to anyone that had gone in there. Countless times they had friends attempt to see what was going on, only to return with blue eyes and lines on their avatar praising the goddess known as the Stormy Virus. At this point this private modder server was like the only calm harbor in the otherwise stormy seas, a thought that caused the avatar to both grin and shake his head.

"Balrus," a voice said from the door of his workshop, looking up to see one of his friends that had gone with a dragonfly body standing there. "There's news from the real world, it appears that the physical manifestation of the Stormy Virus is stomping around in the city. Sources are saying that she's tripled her size and though she hasn't attacked any buildings, yet people are seeing her stomping around the destroyed remains of the old mall."

"She ain't going on a destruction spree in the real world," the badger said as he took the glowing sword out of the fire. "The second she starts causing real property damage is the second they evac the city and drop a bomb on her head. No... she's not going to do anything that will cause more military action, though the fact that she went out of her way to destroy the old mall..." he paused for a moment before he looked up in horror. "That mall, that was the one that the military set up base in, wasn't it?"

"I think so..." the dragonfly said. "Why?"

The badger took the sword he had been making and tossed it aside, going over to his asset storage system and opening it to show the weapon mods he had been slaving over. "Go to your node and get as many of those concoctions you've been making and bring them here," he said as he began to arm himself, the dragonfly looking at him in confusion before the badger shouted once more. "Don't you see?! She's coming for this place, sound the alarm!"

As the two avatars ran up to one of the access node checkpoints they had set up to keep people infected with the malware out of their system they saw the firewall that protect them begin to falter, a pair of massive clawed hands pushing their way through and spreading open the protective veil like it was nothing. As the fanged maw of the giant wolfess kaiju began to poke through the two turned and shouted, though those that were there had already clearly gotten the message. The city-sized private server immediately came alight with alarms and sirens as Stormy pushed her way through using the newly connected data line into the private realm. As she looked out with her gleaming blue eyes she saw so many assets there that her mouth literally began to water as the rest of her furry form made its way.

As her body continued to push past the defensive network everyone that could get ready to fight did so, firing off the weapons as the kaiju who arched back as they made impact with her. She could feel the mods attempting to strip out her code and cause her avatar to crash, but the second her own code came in contact with the antiviral programming it began to corrupt it. Those on the ground continued to attempt to lay it onto the monster, but as the firewall continued to fail and her foot came down on the security checkpoint she suddenly was not alone. The first to come through was a huge lemur that stood at least twenty feet tall and was built like a giant, letting out a roar before charging forward. After him came the flood of corrupted avatars that immediately began to swarm the area like a plague.

Stormy looked down to see her latest convert grab one of the modders that had shunned him before, the lemur laughing before he stretched open his maw impossibly wide and swallowed the squirming avatar in one gulp. The other larger creatures began to do the same, corrupting and consuming those that dared continue to try and harm their goddess as Stormy moved on to the buildings themselves. As he made her way she heard them shout to put up the perimeter defenses and the wolfess had to step back as walls of black metal sprouted up and covered the forges and other workshops the modders wanted to protect.

Balrus and his friend were lucky enough to have gotten through to the other side of the giant wall, an impenetrable barrier that could withstand any attack called the Aretmis shield. "I don't like this, man," the dragonfly said as he looked at the gleaming walls. "Not only can we not escape anymore, but I don't think that can hold it back."

"It's got defensive and healing properties, I'm sure it can buy us enough time to secure ourselves," the badger replied as he admired the impressive code that was in its construction before his friend suddenly fell to the ground. "Aman, what's wrong?" he said before he saw what his friend's hands had been hiding, a spike of blue crystal that seemed to be spreading over his avatar's form. "Why didn't you say anything?"

"I could already feel the corruption spreading," Aman replied as his eyes began to glow faintly with a blue light. "I can hear the call of the goddess... she is coming for us..."

Before Balrus could say anything a loud, ear-piercing screech filled the air as a pair of heavy claws pushed their way through the metallic barrier, leaving thin lines in its wake. As the badger and the other modders watched they saw that the metal didn't knit itself together like it always had before when under attack, instead the damage it caused seemed to grow worse as the claws tore into it once more. "It can bypass our repair algorithms!" Balrus shouted. "We need to wipe the server!"

There was a flurry of activity as Stormy pushed her way through the hole she had created in what her adversaries though was an impenetrable barrier. Even as she passed through it her corruption began to seep into the defensive structure as she claimed it as her own. Tendrils of blue light signaled the infectious malware spreading through it as she made her way through to the other side. When she got there she began to see the buildings dissolve, which caused her muzzle to turn up in a snarl. "You will not deprive me of my prizes..." she said before she took a deep breath in and released it in a loud roar that shook the virtual world to its very core!

"What the hell was that!?" Balrus shouted as everyone got up, several of their avatars getting blown backwards from the force of the sonic shockwave.

"She disrupted our commands!" another sprite said as he began to run. "My purge stopped and I can't start the deletion process again!"

There were other shouts of avatars with the same problem and as they frantically tried to solve the problem a shadow was suddenly cast over all of them. They looked up to see the smiling face of the wolfess kaiju before her foot came down on the central platform they had been on. The badger and several others were sent flying through the air from the force of the shockwave as many others fell under the weight of the paw. Once more the assets underneath them failed to regenerate as the badger could feel the stone crumbling underneath his feet.

Stormy continued to watch as those that hadn't been squished ran from the area while she placed her hands on one of the large buildings that represented a modder workshop. As soon as she touched it the asset registered as hers, glowing with blue lines that began to spread out from it. She could sense all the valuable stuff that they were working on, things that she would have never found in the city hub were now hers for the taking. Of course there were those that didn't have much, those she took one of her hands and crushed it down from roof to ground as a plume of artificially generated dust rose around it.

Several of the modders attempted to get out through the Artemis shield, but when they attempted to deactivate it they found their commands no longer able to go through the system. One of them was foolish enough to touch the corrupted code and as the elephant touched it he flew back before clutching his head. Everyone backed away as their eyes began to glow blue, their muscles growing and horns pushing out of their heads as they let out loud bellows. Those on the pathway started to run, Balrus included, back towards the partially destroyed city center only to have the walkway they were on lifted up into the air. As they shot upwards many stories at a time they suddenly found themselves face to face with the kaiju herself before she paused there, and as the modders looked at one another they wondered if she was about to address them.

Unfortunately for them that wasn't going to be the case as he started to tip the concrete walkway forward, lifting it up and positioning her open jaws underneath it. Many people unprepared for such an action slid in and immediately disappeared into the wolfess' gullet while others clung on for dear life. As Stormy saw that she had a few stragglers she shook the avatars loose, holding it almost parallel to catch the stragglers. Balrus was one of those and the badger's claws scraped against the concrete until he reached the edge, seeing that blue-tinted maw open wide and waiting for him to enter it.

A sudden noise caused Stormy to turn around and look down, seeing a few of the braver modders firing at her with an AA gun they had built. She dropped the walkway and turned around, kicking down and destroying the entire thing in one fell swoop. At the same time her tail smashed into the building next to her, causing that to crumble as those that were on the walkway fell to the ground. Luckily the physics of the server preventing falling death and when Balrus got to the bottom he landed on his feet, which was good because the building Stormy had crushed with her tail slap had threatened to fall down on top of them.

"Well look at what we have here," Stormy's voice boomed as the tower she crushed revealed a gleaming black tower that had been hidden underneath it. "Thought you could try and hide your central control node from me, huh? Think I would just smash the place up and leave? Well now I claim everything, and everyone, in this server as mine!"

Stormy's tail slithered up the obelisk-like structure like a snake as blue lines began to form around it and all the avatars that were in the server suddenly began to stop running around and looked up. They were all attached to this server, all of them partial owners so they could maximize their building efforts. It was that connectivity that was going to be their undoing as the wolfess focused her corruptive power on the spire. Lines of black and blue spread out like roots, slithering over both avatar and buildings alike as her power quickly spread. She could feel their assets coming under her control, the spires and forges darkening to reflect her own desires as the skies overhead turned from blue to overcast.

As Balrus stood there the tendrils of the Stormy Virus began to crawl over him as well, but at this point all he could do was stare up at the majestic creature as his eyes began to turn blue. In the back of his mind he knew that it was infecting him, corrupting him so thoroughly that such thoughts would carry over into the real world, but at this point he no longer cared. Other avatars began to look up in reverence in the same way, their glowing blue eyes shining as they became the worshippers of the goddess just like everyone else. The modders of the server no longer ran and flee, as the skies darkened and began to rain they started to move towards the massive creature instead.

Once Stormy was sure that she had pushed her influence into every corner of this server she admired her work, feeling those that had worshipped her before join in with the new acolytes that she had just created. As she did she found herself joined by the kaiju sabrewolf who stomped over several buildings, himself, as he glanced about with an impressed look on his face. "Quite the haul you have here," he said with a grin. "You're going to have whatever you want at your fingertips."

"No, you are," Stormy replied, giving the surprised saber-kaiju a wink. "I'm all about the destruction, building things is your bag. You promise to keep making me fun stuff for us to stomp on and all this is yours, including the modders."

"Well I don't know what to say," Serathin said as he moved forward to hug only to have a building in his way, which he stopped and shoved over before continuing on. "This is the best gift a giant sabrewolf technomancer could ever get. I take it then you're going to continue on in the city hub?"

Stormy laughed and shook her head. "I got the T10 line completely integrated in the data network now, I can go wherever I want," she said. "There are still parts of this city that don't recognize me for what I am, and if I have to go to every node and stomp the hell out of it I'm going to. This city is mine, some people just don't know it yet."

"Well that certainly sounds like fun," The Technomancer replied as his eyes glowed green, the modders gathered at their feet doing the same. "I'm going to play with my new toys for a bit."

"Thought you might," Stormy replied as she began to move back towards the way she came in before turning around. "Oh hey, before I forget make sure you talk to the lemur about getting yourself one of his suits, it's worth it."

"Well considering I still see the news and have heard of a twenty-foot-tall wolf on the outskirts of the city I'd say you're enjoying yourself," the sabrewolf replied with a smirk. "Do you think I'm finally going to be bigger than you?"

"Not a chance, technomancer," Stormy replied as she gave the other kaiju one last wink before pushing her way back into the city hub. "Nobody's going to be bigger than me, not if I have anything to say about it. There's only one queen of the kaiju, and that queen is me!"
