Thanks for being patient everyone! Here are the final two chapters of this story. This chapter doesn't contain any "erotic" portions, so if that's what you're after then feel free to skip to the next chapter.

Chapter 2: Inside The Fire

Unfortunately, I didn't end up telling Amber how I felt the next day.

Everything started out pretty good. I made it to the beach at around 5:30, and shortly thereafter the crew began to show up as well. This wasn't our first beach scene, so we didn't have much of a problem setting everything up even in the relative darkness. A little before six the actors began to show up. First was Jake, as usual, followed quickly by the two other females who had shot their scenes two days ago. But, as six o'clock came and went, there was no sign of Amber. I was about to give her a call (I was so nervous about it that I had trouble even scrolling over her name on my contacts list), but before I could force myself to push the call button, I noticed one last car pull into the parking lot. Before long, I heard the car door slam closed, and I saw someone begin to jog down the beach towards us. Even in the dim light, the outline was unmistakable. It was her.

"I'm here!" she called out as she reached the edge of our group. Her breathing was slightly heavy from having to run all the way through the sand. "I know I promised that I'd be early," she said with a nervous smile, "but I'm not exactly late this time, right?"

"It's 6:05," Jason replied dryly.

"Damnit!" She yelled out jokingly. "Next time! Next time I promise that I'll be on time!"

It was at that point that she focused her attention over towards me. "Hey Kyle," she said as she slowly walked over to me. Even in the dim lighting... ESCPECIALLY in the dim lighting, with her rough and dark silhouette framed against the sunrise sky, she was a site to behold.

I tried my hardest to remain cool and level headed as she began to talk to me. I had a good night's sleep, and some time to think about things ever since yesterday, so I hoped that at least one of those things could help me calm my nerves down while I was around Amber. They both did... a bit.

"Sorry I'm late... again," Amber said as she turned slightly sideways when she reached me, the early morning light bouncing off her white inner feathers and giving them a beautiful orange glow. "I thought that it would be a shorter drive than it actually turned out to be."

"That's... um... that's okay," I said while forcing myself to stay somewhat calm. I tried to keep my focus on the power chords I was busy laying out, but after I got my first good look at Amber my focus was destroyed.

"So," Amber continued with a small smile, "now that I'm here, what do you need me to do?"

"I... uh... I..." I stuttered out as I gazed at Amber's beautiful figure standing right in front of me. She wasn't wearing much more than yesterday: a small top and some short shorts was all. Then again, with a body like she had, I couldn't blame her for wanting to show it off. However, it made it so hard for me to speak clearly (it was a fair trade in my opinion).

Quickly giving myself a mental slap, I finally replied with, "I... need you to go see Linda, and to get dressed."

"Will do," she said as she turned around and began to walk towards all the other actors. I couldn't help but stare down at her red-tipped tail feathers as they swayed voluptuously while she made her way across the beach.

From that point on, I found it harder to concentrate on just about everything. Both the set-up and the filming kept me busy most of the time, so I didn't really have a chance to talk to Amber very much. And, when I was free, she was already busy talking to another member of the cast. However, there was one moment where we both ended up in the same place at the same time with nothing to do.

It was during a short scene that contained the two other actresses along with Jake. We had to stop filming while Linda adjusted Jake's mane slightly, so I began to twist around in an attempt to get some circulation going back in my legs (chairs are just extra weight to carry back and forth, so everyone had grown used to standing on shoots like this). As my head began to follow my body around, I was quickly surprised at who was standing just slightly behind me and to my right. It was Amber - all alone and looking slightly bored.

I stumbled and nearly fell over as my eyes locked onto her. This was my chance! I had Amber relatively alone, and all I needed to do was say what I wanted to say to her. But, I never realized just how hard something so simple could be...

After I had caught my balance by taking a step or two, I looked back up to meet Amber's eyes. She had a small smile etched into her beak as she said, "You okay there?"

"Um... yeah," I replied feeling incredibly embarrassed. "I just... um... lost my footing a little bit."

There was an awkward moment of silence between us as I struggled with what to say next. Eventually though, Amber let out a small yawn before adding in, "Excuse me. It's just that... do you always get up this early to shoot?"

Relieved that I finally had a topic to talk about, I somewhat confidently said, "Well... kind of. You see, it's really hard to get a permit to shoot out on a location like a public beach. And, if you are able to get one, all of the "good" times cost an incredible amount of money. The major Hollywood studios can afford to blow tons of money on stuff like that, but this business doesn't exactly make the same amount of revenue as they do."

Amber just nodded while looking somewhat interested, and then the conversation simply died. A strong silence crept over the both of us as I struggled frantically with what to say. Where should I take the conversation now? Should I go on talking about movie related stuff? Should I compliment her on her performance so far again? Should I just come out and say that I think I'm in love with her?

Unfortunately, I never got the chance to say anything. As I stood there like an idiot in front of Amber, I heard Linda yell at me, "We're good over here, Kyle."

Nevertheless, I still struggled with what to do. Should I turn around and start the scene, or should I pretend that I didn't hear her and try to talk to Amber once again? In the end, even though it pained me to do so, I had to force myself to turn around and put my attention back towards the scene. I knew that the words simply wouldn't come out right now anyway, and, even if they did, there wouldn't be enough time to say something meaningful. I was more mad at myself than anything as I quickly turned around and yelled, "Action!"

The rest of the shoot came and went without me getting the chance to talk to Amber alone once again. She did shake my hand as she left, but she was in a hurry since she had to make it to work, so it wasn't very satisfying to me. I didn't even have the nerve to ask her where she worked before she took off...

That, along with how the rest of the day played out, left me in a pretty disheartened mood as I began to pack up the equipment. We always had a congratulation party after finishing a shoot, but I really wasn't in the mood at that point. I was about to call the whole thing off, but just before I made the announcement I received some great news.

Word of my... infatuation with Amber quickly spread to the two actresses who had filmed their scenes the previous day. In order to give me a helping hand with Amber, the two actresses along with Jake tried to pry as much information out of her as they could, since I was too dumbfounded by her to do it myself. They got some decent stuff, but when Jake told me that she was single I nearly exploded in joy. Now that I knew, I realized that I actually had a chance with her. My mood instantly turned around, and I suddenly felt like throwing a party again...

After dropping all the equipment off at the studio, most of us eventually met up at my small apartment. We had quite the good time, but I couldn't help but thinking how much better it would've been if Amber was there. She didn't get off work until five, at least that's one of the actresses told me, and by that point we were all too drunk/tired to be much fun to anyone but ourselves. I wanted to call her up and ask her to join us anyway, but Jake eventually talked me out of it. He said that I would really make a fool of myself if she saw me in my drunken state, and I couldn't really help but agree.

Nevertheless, once everyone had left I began to think about her once again. My wingtips glanced over her name under the contacts tab in my phone a few times, but even the alcohol wasn't strong enough to get me to push the call button while I was all alone. It was then that I began to become a little depressed. I began to wonder what I could do in order to tell her how I really felt about her. I came up with a few scenarios in my head, but all of them ended up falling apart at some point in my drunken and confused head. Then, all of a sudden, while lying nearly passed out on my couch from both the alcohol and the stress I'd been under, I came up with an idea. At the time it seemed to be the greatest idea in the world. I knew exactly how to reel Amber in and get her to see my true feelings for her. It would take a little work, but I firmly believed that in the end it would make us both very happy.

The first problem I ran into with my plan, however, was that I actually had to call Amber. I managed to push it off for a while at first. I figured that I'd wait until the movie was being distributed to call her. Then, at least I'd have an actual reason to meet her in person: so I could give her a copy. But, that time came and went, and I still couldn't bring up the courage to actually call her. It all put me in a funny mood actually. I was real angry with myself that I couldn't do something as simple as picking up a phone and calling someone, but on the other hand I was incredibly afraid of what might happen if I did just that. Eventually though, my mood attracted Kyle's attention during the next movie we began to shoot...

After a good talk, he finally convinced me to give Amber a call. On the way back from work that day, I decided to stop and pick up a six pack of beer in order to relieve my tensions a little bit. After getting home and drinking about two of the cans, I finally picked up my phone and began to search for Amber's name in my contacts. As I highlighted her name and went to press the call button, I could feel my heartbeat quickly begin to escalate. I glared nervously at the screen for a while as I contemplated whether or not to go through with it, but eventually, most likely subconsciously, my wing tip made contact with the button, and the phone call began to go through.

I quickly stuck the phone up to my ear as my nervous breathing quickly intensified. I felt like I was having a heart attack as the phone continued to ring once... twice... three times. And just as I was about to give up hope on talking to her in person, there was a quick click, and her angelic voice quickly managed to say, "Hello?"

I was almost paralyzed by the beauty of it, and the fact that I knew who was speaking at the other end made the sensation all that much more extreme.

"Hello?" the voice said again, this time a little more questioningly. I instantly started to panic. This was my opportunity, and I was blowing it yet again! I couldn't let it slip away from me this time, I just couldn't!

"Um... uh... hi!" I said with about as much effort as I remember ever putting into anything before. "Th... This is Kyle. You know, from Until It Sleeps studios."

"Oh," Amber quickly said while changing her tone to a much more... 'professional' one. "Hey Kyle. How's it going?"

I struggled hard to keep my vocal chords working as I said, "It's going fine." Then, I uttered the line that I'd been practicing for quite a while now. "I take it that Phil got you your paycheck and that everything's fine with that. I haven't gotten any angry calls from you yet."

With a small chuckle, which made me disproportionately happy inside, she responded with, "Yeah, everything went smoothly. As far as I know the check cleared."

We both let off a slight laugh at that statement before I began once again with, "That's good to hear." I took another small pause, feeling evermore confident as the discussion carried on, before coming to my main point.

"So," I began, "the reason that I'm calling is because I have your copy of the movie ready to go. I would've gotten it to you sooner, but I've been kind of busy lately." That was kind of a lie, but I needed SOME excuse, and being busy masturbating to the scene she'd been in probably wouldn't have been the best thing to say.

"Great," she replied back after a moment, "I'm eager to see how it turned out."

I decided against telling her what I truly thought of her performance. Instead, I simply said, "I think it turned out pretty well. So well, in fact, that I want you to be the star in our next movie."

Somewhat shocked, Amber took some time before she said, "That's... that's great! I'd love to! What's it about?"

This is where I hit a snag in my plan. Even though I'd had almost two weeks since I'd come up with it, I really hadn't put much thought into the actual movie. Sure, I had some old ideas I could draw from, but I didn't think that any of them where anywhere near as good as what Amber deserved.

"Well..." I began slowly, "I'd much rather talk about stuff like this in person than over the phone." I hesitated a bit before adding, "If you don't mind, we could discuss it more over some food or something."

She hesitated a bit as well before finally saying, "Yeah, that sounds good. I'm usually free after sixish or so on the weekdays."

"Great!" I said as a huge weight was lifted off my chest, "how about tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow's good," she replied calmly.

"Alright then," I said excitedly, "how about something like Chili's? The one down on 39th street?"

"That'll be fine," she replied with what I though was the hint of a laugh.

I disregarded it, and instead repeated, "Okay then, six o'clock tomorrow at Chili's?"

"I'll be there," she replied with an actual small laugh this time.

"Okay," I replied with my own laugh, "see you there!"

As I hung up the phone, I let out a joyous yell so loud that Amber probably could've heard it. I'd done it! I'd actually done it! Although it was due to some other external reasons, I had still managed to get a date with Amber! I couldn't have been happier that moment. I was so happy, in fact, that I quickly downed the rest of the beers to celebrate. I think I called Jake at some point to tell him the good news as well, but I was probably either too drunk or too happy for him to understand anything I was trying to say. I eventually wound up passed out on my sofa, only to wake up the next day with a splitting headache. I was still too happy to really feel bad though. I simply took some ibuprofen before leaving for work, and that was all it took for my giddy mood to return in its full glory.

Jake and the crew quickly noticed my happier mood, but most of them kept somewhat quiet about it. Jake was really the only one to give me a "congratulations" as the few scenes we had to shoot flew by. Before I knew it, we were done filming, and it was time for everyone to go home.

I was probably the first one out of the studio as I raced on home to get ready. It was about four when I burst through my door before quickly making my way into the bathroom. I needed to look perfect for tonight, and I made sure that I did. I took a nice, long, refreshing shower before drying off and styling myself up. I'm not one of those guys who usually spends any length of time in front of a mirror (feathers have a way of usually staying where they should be... unlike hair), but tonight was special. I made sure that every feather was neat, trimmed, and in line before I finally declared myself finished. And I was just in time too. When I looked at the clock on the wall it read 5:40. That gave me just enough time to slip into a nice T-shirt and shorts before walking out my door.

The reason that I chose that particular restaurant was because it was within walking distance of my apartment. Fairly close walking distance as a matter of fact. By 5:55 I was waiting out front for any sign of Amber - my wingtips nervously clasped around my cell phone in my pocket just in case Amber ran into any problems. I hadn't really noticed it all day, but as I waited for Amber outside the restaurant I began to get really nervous once again. I mean, I had gotten a date and everything, but I still had no idea what might end up happening during it. What if I froze up again, or I began acting like a nervous idiot? What would Amber think of me then? And I still hadn't come up with a good movie idea! What was I going to say?!?

As I was busy trying to come up with answers to those questions, I finally caught sight of her. I had expected her to pull into the parking lot with her car, although I didn't really know the make or model, but there she was, walking down the street towards me. Her incredible beauty made her instantly stand out from all the other "dull" looking people on the sidewalk. She was like a dazzling diamond poking out through a rough sea of graphite. She was the speck of gold sparkling between all the other river silt in a gold panner's pan. She was a supernova explosion of grace and elegance among all the other dull stars in the night sky. She was... perfect.

She noticed me waiting in front of the restaurant from a small distance away, but it wasn't until she had almost reached me that I was able to take control over my body again. I weakly raised one of my wings in a wave as I nervously was able to say, "Hey..."

"Hey Kyle," Amber said enthusiastically, "it's nice to meet you again... especially under these circumstances."

She stuck out her wing to offer me a hand shake, but at that point I was still too lost in her beauty to really notice. She wore another short shirt which showed off her sleek and sexy stomach very nicely. That, along with me being sucked into the memorizing color pattern of her feathers in that region, blocked out almost everything else in my mind. I wasn't sure how long I stood there like that, but eventually I remember snapping out of it and grabbing a hold of her wing. After giving it a few shakes, she let go of my wing and said, "So, should we go in? I'm getting pretty hungry. I haven't eaten much since breakfast."

"Um, yeah, sure," I replied somewhat nervously as I led her inside the restaurant.

We got a table and sat down fairly quickly. After the waitress got our drink orders (we both decided on Diet Pepsis), Amber broke the awkward silence between us when she said, "Sorry that I look a bit rough. I just got off of work not too long ago."

"You look..." I said before catching myself from saying something I'd regret. "You look fine," I finally blurted out. She just gave me a cute little smile as she adjusted her shirt and facial feathers.

Spurred on by my "successful" compliment, I quickly asked, "Where do you work?"

"Um..." she slowly began, "I have a job as a waitress... at Chili's... among other small things here and there."

Words cannot describe how embarrassed I was at that moment. "I'm sorry..." I quickly and roughly stammered out, "I didn't know. We could go somewhere else if you..."

She let out a small chuckle as she said, "Don't worry about it. It's fine. They do have a few good things here. And it's not like I work at this particular Chili's or anything. Although, this one would be much more convenient for me since I only live a few blocks away."

"Really?" I busted out of my embarrassed shell to say. "I only live a few blocks away too. That's why I decided to choose this place to meet. Afterwards, we could go back to my place so you can pick up your video. That way, I wouldn't have to bring stuff like that into a... family setting like this if I could help it."

"Psh," Amber commented as I finished, "I see worse stuff than that all the time where I work. I mean, one time, this couple started making out and eventually began having sex during their meal! They tried to do it discreetly, and it was during a time where the restaurant was mostly empty, but still... these types of things are hard to miss."

It was a good thing that the waitress showed up at that point, because I wasn't sure how I was going to respond to Amber's last statement.

"Are you ready to order?" the overly happy raccoon said as she strolled up to the table.

I hadn't even looked at the menu since I walked in, but I already knew what I wanted. Every time I came here, I always ordered the exact same thing.

"I'll take the honey-chipotle chicken crispers," Amber managed to get out first.

"And for you sir?" the raccoon said as she looked towards me.

"I'll... uh," I managed to say, "I'll have the same." I couldn't believe it! Not only was she the most attractive woman I'd ever seen, but we also shared the same taste in food! I didn't think that she could get any more perfect at that point!

As the waitress left with our menus and our orders, I was left somewhat speechless by the new revelation. But, determined not to let any awkward silences dominate our conversation, I slowly began with, "So, um... Amber? You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but I always ask it whenever someone new shows up at the studio. It helps me to get a good feel for the person before I start working with them. So, um... how'd you find yourself in the adult entertainment industry?"

Amber let out a small chuckle before saying, "Well... that's kind of a long story."

"I'd love to hear it," I said a bit more excitedly than I probably should've.

"I guess I can trace the story back all the way to my childhood," she began. I kind of raised a curious eye at that statement, but Amber quickly clarified what she meant. "When I was young, I loved absolutely everything about movies. I knew that when I grew up, I wanted to have some part in making them. So, when high school ended and it became time to choose a career, I didn't even hesitate when I chose to become a film major in college."

"The only problem I had with that was, well, money. Since I grew up in a small town in southern Oregon, my parents weren't exactly the wealthiest people around. I had managed to save up a little bit of money by working a summer job or two, but it wasn't anywhere near enough to pay for more than a semester or two of classes. I bounced from job to job; trying to get any extra income I could while taking classes. Then, one day, one of my friends finally told me about a quick, easy, and well paying job opening. They claimed to be a "modeling service", but I was smart enough to read between the lines."

"It took me until my next college payment was due to finally go and check the place out. After an interview or two, they finally decided to give me a few test shoots to see if I was any good. I guess they were pretty happy with the results, since I eventually was able to make some decent money there. It was enough to pay the bills anyway. I started out by modeling bikinis and underwear and stuff like that, but eventually I found my way into the nude shoots. From there, it slowly began to escalate from the erotic nude shoots until I eventually ended up in my first porn clip."

"To be honest, I didn't mind it all that much. The pay was decent, and the work was short and relatively easy. It allowed me to put myself through college, and it gave me enough free time to focus in on my classes and everything else that was going on. Heck, even my parents were happy that I was able to pay for college by myself, even if it meant doing what I was doing."

"So, that went on until the day I graduated. After college, I ended up moving down here to see if I could get a job working at a professional movie studio. But, that ended up being harder than I thought it would be. So, along with all the other people who moved out here only to find no available opportunities, I managed to get a job as a waitress. But, as you may or may not know, that doesn't exactly pay very well at all. In order to supplement my income, I had to fall back on my past experiences in the... adult entertainment industry. I was able to pay my way through college with it, so why not help pay my bills off with it now? But, I quickly found out that if you give something a "teen" label, then many more people would be willing to watch and pay for it no matter what is in it. Without that label anymore, there seemed to be very few places that required the service of a hawk. All of the positions I applied for were usually taken up either by a canine or a feline. But, I somehow managed to squeak into a few rolls here and there. That's how I met Phil, and that's how I eventually got put into your movie."

As Amber finished her story, I was in relative shock. "If you take Southern Oregon and replace it with Northern California, then that's my exact background story as well."

"Huh," Amber said with a smile and a laugh, "no kidding!"

"Straight to the T," I said while getting excited. "I grew up loving movies. I went to college as a film-video major. Neither my parents nor I had much money, so I eventually somehow ended up doing porn. I moved down here to find that there weren't many jobs open, and I eventually found myself back in porn once again, along with the odd job here and there."

"How did you manage to start your own studio though?" Amber asked curiously. "Doesn't something like that have a huge start-up cost?"

I nodded my head a few times as I said, "Yeah, it does." Then, in a slightly calmer voice, I began the rest of my story. "It was as hard for me to find a job as it is for you, and eventually I just got tired of it all. A day came where I finally said to myself 'I can do better than this. I know I can.' I've always wanted to start my own production company, so I finally decided to get serious about it. I had somehow managed to save up a little bit of money over the years, but it wasn't enough on its own. I ended up borrowing some money from my parents, and I even took out a small business loan to cover everything. I originally wanted to start an independent movie company, but I eventually had to get realistic and change it to something I knew that I was 'good' at, porn."

"It was hard work at first - real hard work - but I somehow managed to scrape by. If it wasn't for Jake and a few of the other crew members you met, then... I don't know what I would've done. I mean, I slept in my car for almost a year because I couldn't afford to pay any rent myself. And that was already after the actors and crew hadn't been paid for the past few movies. ...Do me a favor and don't talk about the early days with the crew. I probably still owe them some money for something... Anyway, we eventually managed to get a decent fan base set up and things began to get better. We still get a few bumps in the road every now and then, but at least I'm not living in a car anymore."

Once I finished, I caught Amber looking at me with a decent amount of pity in her eyes. "Was it all worth it?"

I thought about it for a few moments before saying, "Yeah, I think so. I mean, I have my own movie studio now. That was my childhood dream. It's a lot more work then I ever thought it would be, but I get to let my creativity loose just about every single day. And, even though most people see porn as the lowest form of entertainment possible, I still take pride in all my work."

There was a slight pause in the conversation before Amber said, "So, where'd you get the name "Until It Sleeps" studios from?"

That question caught me a little bit off guard. "I... um, well..." I stammered, "you've heard of the band Metallica, right?"

She just slowly nodded her head.

"Well, I've been a big Metallica fan ever since I was a kid. I've got my crazy uncle to thank for that. So, when it came time to give my studio a name, I picked one of their songs to name it after."

"Why not Damage Inc.?" Amber replied casually.

That's when it finally hit me. I was truly, deeply, and unconditionally in love with Amber. She was gorgeous, sure, but that only makes it so far. When I realized that we both had the same taste in food, the same background story, and now even the same musical preferences, I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this woman by my side. And, not only that, she was a joy to talk to when I wasn't too nervous to actually do it.

"What?" Amber said with a smile as I gazed at her in a stunned stupor, "you're not the only Metallica fan out there in the world you know."

"I... um...I," I grappled with the words as they barely made it off my tongue. "That was going to be my first choice, but it was already taken... by quite a few people actually. I eventually decided on "Until It Sleeps" because... well, the whole sleeping part implies the being in the bedroom, and the bedroom part implies sex and, by extension, porn. You see what I mean?"

Amber laughed a little bit as she said, "Kind of..."

I joined her in a small but kind of embarrassed laugh as I said, "I already told you that it wasn't my first choice."

As our laughter died down, Amber cut in with, "Here comes our food," a few moments before the peppy raccoon placed the plates down in front of us.

We continued to make small chit-chat while we ate, but we didn't really delve into anything too serious. That was a good thing too, since my mind was busy swimming in a euphoric daze of love and affection for the person sitting across the table from me. I just didn't want to make a fool of myself and ruin the whole thing after I had already made it this far. But, there was one more big hurdle I had to leap over before I could make it out of this meeting safely.

As Amber placed her fork down onto her empty tray, she pushed the dish slightly towards the center of the table and said, "Well, we've finished eating and we still haven't even talked about the movie."

I copied Amber's actions on my own plate before slowly saying, "Movie...? Oh, right! The movie!" As those words left my beak, I could feel myself begin to tense up once again. My heartbeat began to race as I tried desperately to come up with something decent to say. I had been far too busy admiring Amber during dinner to think about any new movie ideas, and I was still convinced that I had nothing in my arsenal that would be good enough for Amber to star in. But, just as I started to fidget around in my seat, a brilliant idea came to me.

"Well," I continued a bit nervously, "I've have a few things that we could do in mind, but I was wondering if there was anything you'd personally like to do."

Amber seemed a bit confused at what I was trying to say, so I quickly added in, "Is there a scene you've always wanted to be in? Is there a roll you've always wanted to play? Do you have a good story in mind? You said that you were a film major in college, so you can't try and tell me that you haven't at least thought about the idea."

Now it was my turn to sit and watch Amber squirm under the pressure. "Well, um," she said out loud as she tried to think. "Uh... I don't know... let's see..."

"Is there anything that you think you'd be really good at doing?" I added in.

"Well, I like to think I'm pretty good at being a waitress," Amber said after a pause, "so how about we start there? I could be a waitress at some restaurant, and... um, I see this lonely but cute guy sitting by himself at a table. Since he's cute, I go over and start talking to him. He's just coming off of a bad breakup with his girlfriend, and he wants to get over her as soon as possible. Being the naughty waitress that I am, I eventually seduce him and get him to bed."

"Um," she continued after a short pause, "you're planning an entire movie, not just one scene, right?"

"Right," I quickly responded.

"So, um, then I guess we had a fun time that night, and we meet up for some more. We start to make it a regular thing... and eventually it turns from a night of fun to a night of passion as we both fall in love with each other..."

"I love it!" I said, not sure whether I interrupted her train of thought or not. "How long has this been a personal fantasy of yours?"

As soon as those words left my beak I instantly wanted them back. I had meant it in a joking sort of way, not knowing if it had actually been a fantasy of hers or not. But, it was just the way that it came out which made it sound kind of... teasing. It was almost as if I was making fun of how ridiculous her personal fantasy seemed.

She quickly shrunk back into her seat as those words hit her ears. I could even see her blushing intensely through her facial feathers - something that I've rarely seen before from another avian. She diverted her eyes down towards the table as she stammered, "Um... uh..."

"I'm sorry," I quickly moved in and said. "I didn't mean to..."

It was then that Amber let out a slow and nervous laugh. After a deep breath or two, she replied with, "I should've known that was going to happen," in a slightly joking voice. Then, turning the tables on me, she quickly said, "How many of your movies come out of YOUR personal fantasies?"

I swallowed nervously as I said, "Quite a few, but I'll never tell anyone which ones they were. They'll all think I'm crazy."

We both had a good laugh at that before things finally settled down once again. "But in all seriousness," I continued, "I do think it's a good idea, and I think we could pull it off. Any other details you want to add in?"

"I think I've added in more than enough..." Amber said with a nervous smile.

"Alright then," I said with my own joking smile, "I'll get to work on a full script right away, and I'll get it to you as soon as possible."

"Sounds good," Amber said while trying to get her normal tone of voice back.

"Now that we got that out of the way," I began once again, "there's only one more thing to do. Do you have a moment to stop by my place and pick up your copy of the movie we shot a few weeks ago?"

Amber nodded her head as she said, "Yeah, I don't have anything planned to do tonight."

So, after I paid for the meal, we both took a nice walk to my apartment. It was a quick visit, and I really wasn't expecting much to happen anyway... if you know what I mean. I knew better than to push my luck, especially when I was as serious as I was about Amber. She stopped in, picked up her DVD, thanked me for the meal and for putting her in two movies, and made her way back out into the hallway.

Once she was gone, I lazily plopped down on my worn out couch and began to daydream about her. This time, however, my thoughts were a little bit different. My thoughts weren't purely sexual anymore, although that did play a role later on... I thought about us being together more than anything. That included sharing a house together, taking a relaxing walk in the park together, going to a Metallica concert together... you know, that kind of stuff. I also couldn't help but think about what it would be like to have a kid with her, what it would look like, what we would name it, how we'd teach it to walk and talk together... really serious stuff like that. And, as always, there was the bedroom side of things as well...

After I couldn't take the thoughts anymore, I eventually had to go "relieve" myself in the bathroom before my mind finally began to focus on other things. I eventually got myself to start the script for Amber's movie, but I didn't make it very far before I felt the need to relieve myself again. I decided that it was better just to stop and leave it for the next day, instead of trying to go two rounds in a short amount of time. So, as my libido calmed down a bit, I watched a little TV before slowly making my way off to bed. My plan was working so far, but the hardest part was still yet to come.
