9 days and only 10 pages done....man im getting lazy. well this is the longest chapter i have done so far, so emali me on what you think of it. + i got a few emails about were is the yiff. im not very good at doing it but i got to give what the people want so..ya. you'll see what going to happen. Chapter 3:The Past and Future "What do you mean I'm the first of my kind? The first of the dragons?" Huma said still puzzled about what Magnis meant. Magnis throws his head back and laughs. "You wish, Felix was the first dragon to be born. You're the first "Half-Dragon." Huma goes into a roar of laughter "ME? A half dragon. Next you'll be saying the other half of me is human." Huma said still laughing. "It is" Magnis said coldly "Then how is it that I can turn into a full size dragon?" Huma said mockingly "Well if you quit interrupting me ill tell you" Magnis turned around eyeing Huma. Huma sat there, waiting for an explanation. Magnis takes in a deep breath "10,000 years ago, right after the great flame came across this land and burned all its corruption from it, is when Drakin Dragonfire, son of Noviexs, god of the stars, pulled fourth from his own body the first of dragons. The first was Felix Dragonfire, then Iktinos Dragonfire and then Kanira Dragonfire; the three of them represent the might of two opposing elements formed into one body. Felix represented fire and water, Iktinos was earth and air and Kanira was lawful and chaos. Then Drakin created the rest of dragonkind: red, blue, black, green, silver, gold, white, and so on." "2,000 years later he found that the human race thought of nothing but there own kind and no one else. He saw the humans attack his children. Stealing there hoard and scales, using there bones for there own use, giving no respected for them. He was ready to manifest himself onto our world in his true form, and wipe the world clean of them. But right before he did, amongst the humans he saw one that had compassion for one of his own...you Huma" Magnis looks at Huma. "He saw that you gave your own life to save a dragoness and her eggs from a legion of your fellow man, he saw you fight with untold strength and valor, you were strucked many times, you even had a spear driven though your body. But you merely pulled it out and kept on fighting. Sadly it was a sorcerer's lighting bolt that finally brought you down. But you managed to hold them off long enough for the dragoness to get away with her eggs. Drakin seeing this touched his heart. Seeing you give you life for others then your own kin. So with his power, he made you into one of his own. But you still had you human heart and spirit, but you had the power and strength of the dragons. He also put his own blood within you.... the blood of a god runs in your veins Huma. He then manifested himself on to this world, and gave you his own blessing. He watched over his children on this world. Years passed on, till one day...she was born... "Gadala" Huma said. "Yes.... I don't know much of her past. But I do know this, Drakin fell in love with her and she betrayed him. She used some sort artifact of the old gods. She stole his divine power, and the wiped the minds of all the dragons. The only ones that were not affected were Felix, Iktinos, Kanira and you. Felix, Iktinos and Kanira were not affected because of their divine heritage kept the spell from affecting them, and you because you had a human heart and soul. She then took Felix, Iktinos and Kanira and placed them within a prison. When this was happening, you took Drakin's body and hid him some were, so that she could not drain the rest of drakin power from him. So she did not become a full god, but a demi god. Infuriated by this she went out and found you.... You should have been killed but something happened. The only thing that you lost was your memory. Then you disappeared for existents, then history goes its way till now." Magnis letting out a long drawn out sigh. Huma just stood there with his jaw open. It answered some many question but brought up some many more. "Wait how do you know what I was going to ask?" huma asked with his brow raised. "I been inside your mind for the past 3 months, I knew what you were going to ask. Besides.... if I didn't say it all at once you would have been asking more question later, and I really don't like to waste my time telling meaningless questions" Magnis sighed. "Now lets go inside. It's getting cold." Magnis shivered as he turned to walk up the stairway. Huma walked behind him with his jaw still open. They walked up the staircase till they reach a massive room that looked like it could hold 20 full-grown dragons. There had to be millions of books lined on the selves. As well as some paintings and display cases and a massive fire pit in the middle. In one corner was a green and black dragon sleeping. His scales looked of if they were made of rocks. And yet it seemed if you looked at him long enough, he would fade away. "That's Iktinos, damn dragon falls asleep in my study" "You can lay down if you want" Magnis sighs summoning a chair as he sits down staring in the large fire. Huma placed his head down on his paws as he stared at Magnis. "Wait...how in hell do you know all of this?" Huma said accusing Magnis Magnis sighs again " To make a long story short, I spent 500 years in the archives of time, reading countless books on magic and our planet history, which is how I knew all this, how I found Felix, Iktinos, Kanira and you." "Ok...then. Why does Gadala want with me?" Huma said with a smile on his face. "O god" Magnis said laughing outloud. "Because right before drakin went into his sleep, he placed a spell on her that she will not be able to use her full divine power and that each time that she used it, it will deplete more and more of her power " Magnis said throwing his head back laughing. Huma looked at him puzzled "Bit of a nasty spell to put on her eh." Magnis said still laughing. "Ok then..... Well then, why are demons coming after me now?" Huma said his eyes starting to fall tired. "Apparently you took something from this Dathronk, from what that frost demon said." Magnis said as he conjured chucks of wood into the fire. "Do you know who he is?" Huma asked "I only saw his name once in the archives, it said Dathronk: the destroyer of realms." Magnis said walking towards huma, seeing that he was tried from his journey. "You need to sleep and think on what I have told you." Magnis sighed seeing Huma was fast asleep.
- * * (In the horde room of lady Gadala) Gadala was lying amongst her riches; half of her body was buried in gold. She was thinking about drakin and how she miss's him so. But he probably does not feel the same about her after what she did to him. Why does she care so much for him, he was just a pawn for her to use to get what she wanted. She had mountains of gold, immortality; an army that will give there lives for her. And yet she was still unhappy after all these years. It was not because that she could use her power, but that would have helped. She was confused as all these thoughts swirled in her head. Just then the door swung open and Vergo was standing there. " Dathronk summons us" he called.
The two of them enter a large chamber filled with dark runes inscribed in blood and bile. Five dark summoners stand in a circle as shadow magic chains their soul together. They were chanting a dark ritual as bowls of blood standing behind each summoner. The bowls then start to shake as the blood in them starts to rise and forming in the center of them room. The ball of blood took a shape of a large diamond shaped rock. The blood then starts to crystallize as the summoners start to chant faster and faster. Vergo raises his hand and recites: Kul tuk ven mogoth Siel die sed uehee Cade siw dif hidul Dathronk eavdil All of the summoners then rose up into the air as they chanted faster and faster till they're bodies snapped in half and a green liquid oozed out of their corpses and fell to the floor. He green liquid then slowly crawled to the black diamond and form underneath it. It shot up and forms a pedestal, the diamond then slowly falls on to it. Runes of fire then formed on the surface of the diamond as two red eyes appeared in the crystal. A voice called forth and caused the walls to rumbled in the chamber. "VERGO!!! GADALA!!! WERE'S MY NEW BODY!!! It voice boomed out. Sounding like it could rip right though time Vergo walks toward the diamond and got down on his knee "We have yet to locate your materializing gem my lord but rest to sure, I have all my...." "VERGO...you better find it .... if you don't.... ill throw you soul into the void. Then I can personally rip you apart piece, by piece . " It echoed though the chambers. Lady Gadala walks forward and got one her knees "My lord, I have found the one who has your gem. I will retrieve it myself for you." Vergo growls under his armor as he turns his head to Gadala. Even though Vergo did not have a face, she knew his face was twisted with anger now that she stole his thunder with Dathronk. "Good... you will be rewarded when I am feed from my prison. When I arrive, existent will know to fear me again. The earth will be red from the blood of men; the heavens will burn and bring down the flames to rid this world of this plague called humans. They think they can keep me in the void for all of time, well they will pay for under minding me when I drain there souls from there body's and feed upon them." it called in a low toned voice "Lord Dathronk, sense Lady Gadala will be taking care of the gem, I ask of you that I send my force marching to Twilight city. With the current amount of demons I hold, I can take the puny human city to its knees. The only thing that stands in the way is Vanguards fortress. And that fool head will be a gift for you." Vergo called bring his hand up and clenching it. ".... Proceeded. But I will lend you the use of some of my minions." The Dathronk called as fire, ice, shadow and blood pulled from the ground and formed themselves into the shapes of bodies. From the fire a small man came forth with chains around almost every inch of his body and carried a black book also in chains. "My name is Kavl, I'll keep the mind of the sage occupied as you take his soul for our lord" he called as he bowed down From the shadow, a wraith of metal and shadow walked forth from it. "My name is Naga Shadow. I will kill the human's king and generals and bring their sprit to its knees." From the blood a massive warrior who's eyes were red with rage and armor was decorated with lining of intestines and other organs. "I am Bores. I will kill the immortal and bring his head to you" he said with a crazed look in his eyes Vergo just threw his head back and laughed at what the berserker said. "Well looks like you don't think much do you.... you cant kill that what death will never come for" Vergo said still laughing under his armor "Master gave me weapon.... Steals his soul and leaves his body dead" Bores said as he pulls a dagger out that was made out of black iron and had runes of the old gods on it. Vergo jumped back at the sight of the dagger "A weapon of the old gods! Keep that thing away from me!" Vergo yelling out as Gadala laughs seeing him jumped back. Finally from the ice walked out a huge ice demon lord. "Good to see you again Vergo" it called out "Thaddeus?" Vergo said in confusion "Lord Dathronk brought me back as a ice lord, this new body feels so good. So much power in my hands" Thaddeus Calls out laughing at his new power. "I expect to be on the throne of twilight when I return" Dathronk called as the diamond turns to ash. Everyone: "yes master." "You better have that gem Gadala, Dathronk will not be pleased if you fail" Vergo calls though his armor "You just worry about taking the humans city, or will that be to much for the little golem." she hissed back.
- * The smell of food woke Huma up from his sleep, and it was a good one now that Magnis was out of his head. He opened his eyes to see Magnis, the giant human Jinn, Iktinos, and a large red and blue dragon. Huma saw over the massive fire pit were 3 cows, 4 pigs, 12 chickens and a duck all-cooking over the fire in midair. Magnis was sitting in his chair with his finger in the air in a spinning motion. Magnis saw that Huma was awakening by the smell of food, seeing the half dragon drooling. "Hey! No drooling on the floor. I just cleaned this tower 3 days ago." Magnis called out as Jinn throws his head back laughing. "Leave the poor guy alone Magnis, he probably had nothing to eat for three days. Your damn fault for making this tower in the middle of the goddamned sea!" Jinn laughed out turning his head to Huma. "Don't worry Huma, there almost done" Jinn called out still laughing. Huma was reminded that he was flying for three days and just then his stomach caught up with him as a loud grumble came out of Huma's gut. Everyone in the room was laughing except for Huma. He got up and walked over near the fire by Magnis and Jinn and sat down. "Done" Magnis called out as he summons up a table, a large chair for Jinn, and three kegs of beer and a bottle of wine. Placing a cow, a pig, and 3 chickens in front of each of the dragons. Then placing the last pig and chickens on the table and the duck in front of himself. Summoning up a folk and knife for him, seeing that Jinn preferred to use his hands. Popping open the wine and pouring it into a glass and taking a sip of it as Jinn blasts open the top of one of the kegs of beer and picking it up with one arm, chugs the whole thing in one shot. Beer slosh all over the floor as Magnis sighs to himself, there goes his floors. "Damn it Jinn, don't you take your time to enjoy the drink and food you have? You eat just as fast as a dragon!" Magnis laughs out seeing Iktinos, Felix and Huma done with their food already. "By the way Huma, that there is Felix Dragonfire: the first of dragon kind" pointing over to the red and blue dragon. Huma nods his head in respect. "Aye and father's first and most easily to fire up piece of work" Iktinos roars out in laughter seeing Felix red scales burn white-hot. "O and he did a better work with you. Slow as the earth itself" Felix called out as he cast a fire spell on the end of Iktinos tail, seeing the dragon jump up in the air. Everyone in the room was laughing except Huma, who was still thinking on what Magnis said. "Magnis? You never told me why Gadala wanted with me" Huma said looking into the fire Magnis lets out a sigh "She need the blood of the one who casted the spell on her in order to break it" Huma just kept looking into the fire. Magnis got up and walked over to huma and placed his hand on his head "I know what I have told you will be hard to except, but you will learn of your past life on your own" Magnis said turning his way to the fire. "Well now that we got you, its time that we try and find out were Drakin's body is at" "Good luck Magnis, me and Felix looked all over Elmoredin. And we could not find his tomb. The only one who knows is Huma and that bit memory is gone." Iktinos letting out a drawn out sigh. "Well we will find it sooner or later...we need to keep Huma out of the reach of these demons. Well looks like we're going to twilight city!" Magnis called out turning around, walking to the stairs. Jinn lets out a burp and looked at Magnis "Awwww Magnis I just ate. Please don't use that damn stone of yours" Jinn throwing aside an empty keg. "To bad Jinn, unless Felix would like to fly you all the way to twilight. We're teleporting." Magnis called down the stairs Jinn looked at Felix. "...No." Felix said rubbing his lower back. Huma looked at everyone in puzzlement. "So we're teleporting there, so what of it." "O you don't know Magnis...when he teleports some were far, He takes his whole tower with him. His has this stone he calls the Gate stone, it can take a large mass of land and teleports it to anywhere he has been. But damn thing upsets my stomach. HEY MAGNIS! I HOPE YOU LIKE FOOD CHUNKS ON YOUR FLOOR!" Jinn roars up the stairs. "Shouldn't we wait for Kanira to get back?" Felix called up the stairs "She went to go see her mate, something about telling him some important thing about them and said to go on without her" Magnis called back down "Ah yes the runt.... what was his name" Iktinos laughed to himself. "By the way, you dragons revert to your draconian form. We are going to be in the in the middle of the human capital and we don't want to stir up any trouble. There some robes in the cabinet that's by you, so put them on till we get to king Orlin." Magnis called down as a cabinet pop up in the room "Alright everyone, hold on to something." Magnis voice boomed though the whole tower as it pulsed with arcane energies. The tower shook as every fabric of it and everything in it slowly faded away.
- * (In the council room of Twilight Palace) Orlin sat there with his head propped up as his fellow council members rant about the attack on maul's port and other cities and fortress of his empire. "We must rally up the army and send them forth head on to this opposing army!" one yells out "Yes and send our own to there death! We know nothing of this new enemy" as the other spats back "This must be the work of Lady Gadala! She is coming for us!" "No, that will go against the treaty she signed. Her army's will not have enough power to attack Vanguard's keep, let alone twilight city. Besides there were no reports of any dragons attacking any of the cities. This is the work of something more!" one of the older members called out "Could it be the bandit lords again?" "No...they don't have the tactical power that these ones have. Besides the bandit lords would know better then to try for a full invasion" "Then it must be lady Gadala!" The whole room go into an up roar as Orlin sat in his chair staring into the map of his kingdom, it marked the areas attacked by this unknown enemy. "Councilmen!" A voice boomed though the camber, as everyone was silence. The door then swung open, Magnis stood there. By him were Jinn and 3 hooded figures in dark robes. "What you face is lady Gadala..."Magnis called out as he waves his hand and the door closed behind them" "HA! See I told you, it is the Dragon mistress" as the young councilmen sat up yelling. "But she is not the only enemy you have...we also face the wrath of demons as well as dragons!" Magnis called out as the whole room goes into an uproar. "That's impossible, demons cannot enter our realm. They are forever locked within the gates of hell!" "What else can destroy the largest trade city aside from twilight? One demon did that, turned maul's port into a frozen grave. Now an army is on it's way here. What in the gods name do you think twilight as any chance against an army!" Magnis roared out. "They will never get past Vanguards keep. No army has ever past it massive walls sense the age of king Alron. We will be safe; beside, demons are just mindless killing spawns of hell. They know nothing of strategy.' The young one yelled back. Jinn walked up to the naïve councilmen and picked him up by the rim of his collar and pulled him up till he was eye-to-eye with him. "And that's the fact of it all. They are nothing but killing spawns of hell! But that does not mean they know nothing of strategy. The grunts of there army do as they are told. If their masters point in a direction, they will mane, kill and burn every living thing in there way. I know demons; I have fought them for over 1500 years. I was even captured by them, dragged to the very depths of hell itself and tortured for 500 year. I know how they think and that one thing I learned is that you NEVER underestimate them." Jinn roared into the face of the young fool as his robe was soiled. Jinn dropped him as he landed on the ground; he then shuffled up to his feet and ran back to his seat. "Then we are doomed if what you said is true. We have nothing that can stop the might of an entire army of demons!" "We have one advantage..." Magnis turned around and faced the hooded figures. "Them" The figures removed there hood's, showing that Huma, Felix, Iktinos stood there as the entire camber again came into an uproar. Orlin looked up in shock as well, who has not moved this entire time. "YOU DARE BRING DRAGON FHILT INTO OUR CITY!" "GUARDS! COME AND ARRIST THESE TATOIRS AND KILL THE DRAGON SUCM!" Magnis waved his hand in front of his mouth then waved it across the room, as the room fell quite as all the councilmen fell silent. The guards then charged to the group before king Orlin called them off. "Magnis.... explain yourself. How will these dragons help us in our fight?" as Orlin sat back down. "Because these are the sons of the true dragon god" Magnis said as Orlin sat up. The rest of the council also got up as there mouths moved but no sound came out. "They are lady Gadala children?" Orlin said knowing full of the little spell that was on her, puzzled on thinking on how could she have kids. "No these are the sons of Lord Drakin Dragonfire, the true god and father of all dragonkind." Magnis said as he starts to tell the whole council the same story he told huma about the history of dragonkind.
Orlin sat with his eyes wide open and jaw dropped after hearing the story that Magnis had just told them. The rest of the council as well sat there with their mouths wide open. "..Well Magnis leave it to you to shed some light on all this." Orlin said as one of the councilmen sat up "My lord, you can't possibly believe even one bit of that story!" "I respect the word of a sage of the old arcane order, just as you should trust the judgment of your king. Now the next one of you that speaks out will lose his rank!" Orlin called out as the council finally silenced. "Thank you King Orlin. We know that the army will be heading here to Twilight City. But in order to do that, they will have to go though the Mist Mountains. Even if they are demons that will take months to get over, the fastest way to get there will be though Vanguard's keep. If we can stop them here and stall them long enough, that will give us time to call for allies from the east sea. Jinn, Iktinos, Felix, Alzorth, myself and one thousand soldiers will head over to help vanguard and fortify the keep." Magnis laying out the plan on the map lay out on the table. "What about me. I'm going as well." Huma stated out "Huma, lady Gadala will most likely be with the force that going to attack the keep. And we can't afford to lose you to them. What ever this gem is that they want, we cant let them have it. No you're going to stay here in twilight city." Magnis said seeing the disappointment in Huma's eyes. "I will go as well then and bring my royal guard with me. I will not stand by and let my people suffer in the hands of demons or a false god!" Orlin called out getting up "No Orlin. If they kill you, then all is lost. Your death will ruin the soldier's morale." "Indeed" Orlin sat back down and called over one of his surfs. "Send word to our allies to the eastern sea that we are in need of their aid." the surf bowed and ran off. "So we are finally going to war eh, its about time. I think it is proper to go out for a drinks, on me eh?!" Jinn roared out "Jinn I don't think now are the time to drink." Magnis sighed out "Nonsense! My people get hammered right before we charge into battle!" Jinn said with his chest puffed out in pride in his people. "Jinn.... Your people drink if someone gets nailed in the head!" Felix roared out as everyone in the room burst out in laughter. "Of course! Now let's go get hammered." Jinn roared out as he picks the three dragons up in one arm and Magnis in the other. He turns around and looks at Orlin as the other try to get out of his vice grip. "You coming Orlin?" he asked "No.... I got some thinking to do. You go on without me." He smiled at Jinn. "Ok! More for me!" Jinn turned around a goes down the hall. Orlin sat there thinking on what hell will be knocking across his door.
- * Vergo walked into lady Gadala tent. She was being rub down in oil by one of her servants. She waved him away when she saw him walk in. "what is it that you want?" she hissed. "We are a weeks march from Vanguards keep. I wanted to know if your dragons are going to be in this battle?" his voice echoing though his empty armor. " Awwww will be fighting one of the human generals will be to hard for you?" she cooed at him "Do not underestimate Vanguard Starbearer and his men. They fight will inhuman will power and strength. They are more powerful then normal humans. Something about that place seems to make the sprite of those who fight to protect it." His voice to draw off "How do you know this?" Gadala hissed at him "I have spies within the keep." Vergo said as he turned to the tent. Just before he left he called out behind him. "Do you have Dathronk gem yet?" "I will soon." She hissed back at him as he leaves the tent. A voice then called though her head "Gadala...I have him." the voice called She smiled as she got up and transported herself out.
- * "You cant..Hic* beat me jinn... I bested you once and I'll best you again." Iktinos called out as 10 empty kegs of beer laid next to him. "Boy, the only reason you beat me last time is because I had 35 kegs of me best stuff before I went against you....hic*" Jinn called out with another keg in his massive hands as he pours that one down. A large crowd gathered around to see who would win. Bets were being place on who will go out first as huma and Magnis watched. "Shouldn't they be dead?" Huma sighed "Well Iktinos is a dragon so his body can take it and Jinn...Jinn is just the biggest drunk you will ever meet" Magnis throws his head back laughing. Huma laughed as well as he takes a drink of his mead. "So Magnis, I was wondering. You said I had a sister, why did she leave at this time." Huma said as he takes another drink. "She needed to go tell her mate that she was going to have his kids." Magnis said quietly taking a sip of his wine Huma coughed up his drink "What? How come you didn't tell Felix and Iktinos?" "They would have went out and killed him if they find out. They love her dearly and would have hated to see her hearth get broken. Don't tell them ok Huma." He said looking over seeing Iktinos fall down as Jinn roar out in victory. "OK. Now that is done...its time for the liquor to take effect." Jinn called out as he falls to the floor with a loud bang. And it seemed that everything in the bar jumped up as he fell. Magnis threw his head back laughing. He then shot his head up and looked over at the door seeing king Orlin standing there. "Well see you next time Huma." he said taking a sip of his wine. Huma puzzled saw Orlin walking to him. "I need to talk to you Huma...in my Throne room." Orlin said looking like he was extremely ill. Huma got up and walked out with him. Magnis watch them leave. Hoping that everything will be all right.
- * Huma and Orlin entered his throne room. As he sat down on his throne and looked up at huma. "Do you think we have a chance Huma?" Orlin asked "I'm not sure. We can only hope for the best" Huma replied "Huma...I made a vow for as long as I live I will not let my people die and that I will do anything to keep them safe." He said letting out a draw out sigh as he looks down. A tear then fell into his lap. "Orlin? Are you ok?" Huma ask as he walked over to him. Orlin looked back up as tears ran down his face. " I'm sorry Huma. I'm sorry my people.... my will was not strong enough" Huma was puzzled as in what he meant. His eyes shot wide open and his hearth stopped as lady Gadala walked out of the shadows from behind Orlin. Huma tried to say something but nothing came out. "Hello Huma." She cooed at him. Huma tried to run but Gadala pounced on him and pinned him to the ground. The room around them soon faded, as they were teleported into a massive room filled with gold. She reached down as hissed into his ear. "Your mine"
