Some'it...
It's been a long time, so long, the outcomes became fuzzy in my mind...
No shadows left to play in the corner of tiring eyes, only echoes come & go, some bad, some kind...
It's not easy, it never was, or has been
It's just as it would, could, should be, now as then
What if a horrible thought that won't leave me be
It forces open eyes at time, to once again dream, once closed, to still see...
Matters beyond the barriers of this world still whisper more than needed
A grasp on reality shaken again, an old feeling is all that's proceeded
No motion to make for change
What's left is the same old kinda "strange"
A day dream of a nightmare still filled with fear
It's blinding, always binding, an ember to flicker in those that are heartfelt & near
Once the vision fades, life continues as it was before the freeze
I blink, re,e,Bering to think for more, more than a chill in a cold breeze
After the moment of weakness, I find a much wanted feeling of ease...
