It was the beginning of a new Sunday, and Sasuga was getting ready to go out for a special duty. She found the most appropriate black colored outfit in her dresser and put it on. She sought to stop by her neighborly friends before she left and knocked on their front door.

"Door's open!" she heard Panja's voice reply and she entered.

"Good mor... ning..." Sasuga's greet spread out slowly when the first thing she saw when she entered the apartment was Panja working out in the middle of the living room. The big white lion was naturally topless, sitting on the couch in a benching position, with a 40KG dumbbell in each hand, lifting each one in rhythmic motion, exercising his brawny arms muscles as his muscular biceps and strapping forearms flexed impressively. The kirin watched in awe for a moment as Panja's manly muscles bulged and flexed so flawlessly, with sparkling droplets of his musky sweats dripping along his ripped and sculpted upper body crevices, all over his bulky and hefty muscled chest and back. No wonder he was always this muscular and well-built; working it out this heavily must not be an easy task.

"Morning... Sassy! You're up... early!" Panja greeted her back between some soft gruff grunts as he lifted the weights up and down in each arm, snapping Sasuga out of it before she'd drooled at the sight of the hunky lion's sexy workout.

"Uhrm, yeah, well, I... I have to be somewhere," Sasuga mumbled as she tried her best to act casual. This was torture for her. Simply torture.

"Where to?" Hazard's head peeked out of the bathroom door and asked the kirin, a toothbrush poking out of his muzzle.

"Oh, hey Haz. I'm going to attend Kyle's funeral; they're holding it today," Sasuga answered.

"Oh? It's today?" Panja's ears perked as he stopped his weight lifting for a minute and Sasuga nodded back to him. "Okay, give me five minutes to get ready!"

"No, it's okay, Panja, you don't have to accompany me. I want to do this by myself, but thanks for your consideration," Sasuga replied, turning down his offer amiably.

"Are you sure? Sure, we didn't really know your friend Kyle, but we can come with you, it's no bother," Hazard said.

"Yeah, I'm sure. I appreciate it, but I think I'll be better off if I went alone," the kirin replied with a smile.

"Well, if that's what you really want. But hey, give me a call when you want a ride back, okay?" Panja said to her with a playful wink and made the kirin blush slightly.

"S-Sure thing, Panja. Well, I better get going now, so see you guys later!" Sasuga bid them farewell and rushed out of there before she would lust over the shirtless, sweaty white lion again.

"She sure seemed to be in a hurry," Hazard remarked with a slight shrug, then went back to brushing his teeth. Before he knew it, though, he felt a large shadow looming behind him and felt Panja's powerful arms wrap around him and surprise him with a tight hug. "Ack! Get away from me, goddammit! Take a shower first; you're all sweaty!" the golden wolf complained as he fidgeted about to break free.

"Aww, but I want some early morning golden sugar!" Panja purred, giving the back of Hazard's head an affectionate lick, his grubby big hands slipping inside the wolf's clothes, one under his tanktop shirt to feel up his muscled abs, and the other inside the front of his shorts, fondling his groin.

"Grah! You pervy fiend! Three-foot-rule!" Hazard griped at the naughty lion's fondling, even feeling him grinding too closely into his rear.

"That rule doesn't count when there are clothes involved!" Panja snickered sleazily and continued to tease his lupine friend and not let him brush his teeth in peace.

Meanwhile, Sasuga was making her way down the building, actually regretting her decision in going to the funeral alone. She just didn't want them to see her breakdown there when they finally put Kyle to his eternal resting place. She sure wanted someone to come along, though. Someone that could support her in her sad moment. Someone that she could count on. Someone like Seif, who was unexpectedly standing by the front of the building front way, apparently waiting for her with his SUV standing by.

"Need a ride?" Seif offered in that calm, deep voice of his, smiling softly.

Sasuga blinked in response; she was pretty surprised by Seif's sudden visit. She was surprised, and also kind of thrilled. The lion always seemed to show up to her in the right moment, somehow, and she couldn't have asked for a better one.

"Yes," she replied with a blushing smile. Seif opened the passenger seat door for her and she gladly climbed into his car, as he joined her in the driver seat and drove off into the main street.

"Before you ask, the answer is no, it's no trouble. I won't be heading to work today, so I'm completely free. I'll take you anywhere you want," Seif started off as he stopped by a red traffic light.

"Oh, th-thanks," Sasuga muttered, her heart starting to beat faster at the notion of spending some time with this handsome lionman.

"Well then, where do you want to go first?"

"Umm, actually, I need to go to a funeral."

"Your friend from the university?"

"Huh? Y-Yeah. How did you know?"

"Barzard told me. I'm sorry for your loss, and even sorrier I couldn't do anything about it," Seif regretfully said.

Sasuga shook her head. "No, don't say that. Nobody else could've done anything. But, I don't want to return to beating myself over it," she said with a weak smile.

"That's good to hear," Seif smiled back. "In that case, before we head there, we should go to get some flowers, to properly pay respect to your friend. And I know just the place," the lion said and drove off when the traffic lights turned green, as Sasuga was left wondering what he meant by that.
