The crowd grew silent due to the fact that they all bet on the dragon while the others rushed into the ring to help Zeng. Shayde was first on the scene as he used his bandana to clean off the blood and dirt off the wounds while Angel prepared a healing ointment and time was against them since Zeng had already lost so much blood.

"Okay Shayde, Xani i'll need you to hold him down while I put this on his wounds, Sam use your shadow to feel for any broken bones."

"Right!"

"Hang on Zeng..."

The moment the ointment touched Zengs wound a small sizzling noise was heard and he suddenly jerked his head up yelling in agony while Xani and Shayde held him down.

"GAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHH!!!! GRRRRRRR!!!"

"Zeng! Zeng sweetie look at me! everythings going to be alright!"

Saline held her sons hand as he fought through the pain then after a few heavy breaths Zeng finally relaxed and laid his head back on the ground as he drifted off to sleep, Angel checked his pulse which seemed to be doing fine for the moment while Xani grabbed the gem and hid it under her cloak when suddenly the hyena who ran the arena fights appeared before them with his two guards.

"I believe that's mine."

He gestured Xani to hand over the gem as his guards gripped their wepons but instead of listening she simply turned her back while Sharon and Elicia marched over and knocked out both guards with one punch before staring at him in the eyes with anger.

"You must be the man in charge."

"a-at your service miss-GACK!!!"

"*slams him into the wall* If my baby doesn't make it out of this the next two people to tangle in the arena will be you and my two mates *unsheaths claws* have I made my point?"

He then saw Saline preparing a thunderbolt while Eilicia checked the tips of her arrows and after giving a nervous gulp he simply nodded yes and Sharon dropped him like a rock as he ran for his life while they returned their attention to their injured cub.

"Angel?"

"We need to get back to the ship so I can bandage the wound, Sam?"

"His bones are fine, he's one lucky kitty."

While the others left Xani helped herself to the winnings Zeng had just received along with a little extra since most of the mercs recognized Shayde who was walking with her. Moments later Zeng could hear the echoing of familiar voices as he tried to open his eye then he felt a small piece of cloth on his chest and head then he heard the sound of creaking wood. He was back on the Earth Breaker.

"You're awake!"

"Linda."

Zeng recognized the voice of his mate as she held his hand while crying tears of joy, she stroked his head while he still held onto her as the others came in one by one.

"Glad to see you can still move."

"Angel? why am I blindfolded?"

"It's to make sure you don't move too much, the ointment will take three days to heal your wounds."

Linda gave him a quick kiss as she left with the others, allowing all three of Zengs mothers to enter next and Zeng recognized the first voice instantly while the other two sat beside him.

"Hey sweetheart."

"Mother...I wish I could see you right now..."

"Shh its alright, i'm just glad you're okay."

"The gem!"

Zeng tried to get out of bed but the pain from the bandages and his mothers holding him down was too much for his condition as he gave a few short pants after slumping on the bed.

"Xani got it while you were knocked out, don't worry."

"sorry....where we going?"

"To see your uncle Arbitus, he'll be able to help us."

Arbitus was the most powerful druid in all of Gaia whose castle was made from the very trees he grew, he was friend to even the dragons that wandered his kingdom and even enlisted them as guardians of his land and all who attempted to invade were burnt to ashes in a second of trespassing.

They soon left the room allowing Zeng to rest while the others got back to helping around the ship but Sparky on the other hand kept an eye on Zeng in case he was in any pain while in the forge Kerric, Sam and Shayde began crafting armor made from the hides of all the dragons that guarded the gems figuring they could help in their battle in case Kairos got free while Angel dug deeper into the legend and found something stunned her with fear.

"GUYS GET IN HERE!"

Everyone rushed into the room to find Angel looking through her lunar calendars until finally she found the one she was looking for.

"What's wrong?!?"

"I went through the legend one more time and found out that if the ceal is not replenished by the next eclipse Kairos will be free."

"The eclipse....That's three weeks from now!"

Kerric then ordered the captain to double the speed of the ship and through the night they traveled without rest until finally the reached the castle of the druid Arbitus. Saline was the first to exit the ship while Linda escorted Zeng who still had badages on his chest.

As they neared the castle gates which were made of vines a small plant with a crystal orb appeared in front of Saline and from it the image of a male tiger with a long beard appeared before them.

"Yes? how can I help you?"

"Is that any way to greet family?"

"OH SALINE!! by the goddess it's good to see you! come in! come in!"

The gates then slithered behind the bushes as everyone entered the castle and the place was amazing, the paintings were hung on tree branches while the floor was made of sandstone that had been rubbed smooth perfectly, then finally Arbitus entered the room and greeted everyone with a harty hello, especially his nephew.

"Zeng? is that really you?!? I haven't seen you since you were a newborn! look at you!"

After getting to know each other Saline told her brother of their mission and a serious look came over Arbitus as he quickly teleported them to his library where he began searching his tomes for answers, it seemed like there was nothing that could help them until by a stroke of luck a book fell from the highest shelf covered in dust as Linda picked it up and began reading through it.

"THIS IS IT!! During the imprisonment of Kairos four pedastals representing each of the elements were placed around black pillar mountain but fearing the stones would be taken from their sacred resting place the Magu's scattered them across gaia so that only those pure of heart would one day obtain the jewels."

"*smacks head* of course! how could I have forgotten?!? A few hundred years and you forget you saved the whole world."

"SAY WHAT?!?"

They couldn't believe what they were hearing, Arbitus was one of the Magu's who helped imprison Kairos all those centuries ago meaning that Zengs birth mother was also an ancient sorceress.

"So if you're a couple centuries old then how-?"

"Being a magus has its perks"
