"Mommy, is you awake?" Vicky sniffled, wiping a few tears away from her face as the door to her parents' bedroom creaked open. "I-I had a bad dweam."

The small canine paused as she waited for a response, the sleeping figures of her parents remaining motionless as they were dimly lit by flashes of red and black from the television as it silently played. It would be a few minutes before the young pup gathered the courage to push into the room, her eyes darting about the dark corners as her pace quickened towards the bed.

Small hands would grasp at the covers, pulling herself up to glance around again - getting a better view of both of her nude parents fast asleep.
