You know how it is when you're playing an online VR fantasy game and you install a new mod. You're not sure exactly how it's going to work, especially if you're doing it at the advice of a friend. Basil was one such player, not sure he would even use it. As it turns out, a mod that lets you swallow your enemies and digest them is pretty handy for a sorcerer.

This is a YCH commission for Basil Sanguine.

"So, let's just take a look at this mod I was told I'd enjoy." Basil said.

The python sat quietly in a lovely clearing amidst a picturesque old growth forest. The trees waved oh so slowly in the gentle breeze that washed over the snake's dark scales. The warm, late spring day was quite pleasant. If it weren't for the fact that it wasn't real, Basil might have thought it idyllic enough to stay for a long while. The sorcerer lifted a paw and waved it in the air, looking as if it were some odd, meaningless gesture. To him, however, it was a means of scrolling through various menus of abilities, inventory items, spells, and additional details.

The mod in question popped up right where it was expected to. When he tapped the 'activate' button next to the title, the world shimmered for a brief moment. When all was made correct again, a new collection of items appeared in his list of abilities. It puzzled him slightly, but he wasn't about to dismiss it out of hand.

"Let's see, what do all of these do? And can I use them to complete my quest?" Basil asked as he spoke to himself.

It wasn't uncommon for a VR player to talk out loud even when no one else was present. Anytime the snake had something new to examine, he would find a quiet spot to settle down and investigate. And now, he had a small manual to read through; one that detailed the inner workings of the new abilities he possessed. It seemed fairly straight forward, so he perused it lightly and put the manual away. He reached into his pouch and pulled out a small potion, downing it to refresh his movement.

He stood and straightened his robe, then adjusted his wide-brimmed hat. He was still fairly early in the game, so he didn't have the best gear. But it was still detailed enough to offer an interesting appearance. He looked very much like the classic wizard. It was one of the reasons he was drawn to the class, that and his affinity for the style of play that came along with it.

"I dunno about this mod. I guess we'll see if it comes in handy," the python said, "For now, I'm gonna go try to complete this quest. It shouldn't take too long, and it shouldn't be too tough."

He turned towards the denser region of the forest and began walking. The list of abilities ran through his head a few times, making him wonder why a couple of friends he played with on occasion had suggested he try it out. His friends had some odd tastes. Swallow and digest; it sounded rather unpleasant. But it promised the addition of buffs. Maybe he would try it, but it didn't sound terribly helpful.

As he walked along, the sun began to set. He began to wonder if he was on the right path. The quest said the bandits could be found deep in the forest near a cave. And while there had been no fine details to go by describing the region, the quest said it was to the west of town. Basil had gone due west, hoping he might spot some kind of sign. His exhaustion meter was starting to give him reason to worry. Just as it reached the point where he was about to be forced into resting, a sound caught the snake's ears and he stopped. His instinct was to immediately slip behind a tree.

Luckily, there was one nearby that happened to be large enough to conceal him. Basil crouched there, peeking out just to one side to try and assess the situation. There, he could see in the distance was the camp he sought. A small fire blazed in the center of a group of bandits. They appeared to be rodents of some sort, though distorted and made much more grotesque than Basil was used to seeing them. Likely that was to make it easier for the player to not feel quite so bad about killing them. The snake certainly didn't see anything wrong with it. It was only a game after all.

As the serpent gazed over the small camp, he began analyzing it a little more critically. He had a window open off to the side of his display, running a search for the mob he was going to have to face off against. When Basil found it, his heart sank a little. They were all roughly the same level as him. They were going to be more difficult than he had originally expected. It wouldn't be as simple as diving in and taking them all on at once. This called for something more calculated.

"Looks like I need to draw agro one at a time. This would be easier if I had a tank. Let's see," the dark-scaled snake began studying the group more closely, picking out what he believed to be the ideal candidate, "That guy's the farthest away of the group. I'll grab him."

As slowly and as quietly as the slim sorcerer could arrange, he circled the camp, putting himself in as good a position as he could figure to make his move. Once he felt he was in the best spot to begin, Basil worked his hands in a few arcane gestures, casting a simple spell. It was a small bolt of energy, extremely low mana cost, low damage, single target only, making it perfect for this exact use. The bolt shot from his hands and struck the nearest rat-like creature. It jumped and squealed, turning about to look around for the source. None of the others had any sort of reaction.

Basil was encouraged by this and cast the spell again, making sure to let the bandit see where it had originated from. The tiny, pale-blue bolt raced forward, hitting its target. Again the creature squealed unhappily. This time, it had a point of origin and charged after it. The snake congratulated himself on a successful pull, having not drawn the attention of the rest of the camp. Basil then turned and ran, keen on putting a bit more distance between himself and the rest of the mob. He made sure not to run too far or too fast, keeping his target within range so he could hold aggression on him.

"That's it, just follow the nasty, mean, scaly magic user!" he said under his breath.

As soon as there was certainty that battle could commence without drawing unwanted attention, the python turned to fight. He tipped his pointy, wide-brimmed hat up so he could see better, then began working to cast another spell. Energy arched off his arms--covered in the same black scales and deep blue stripes as the rest of him--and he loosed a mighty jolt of electrical power. The lightning bolt connected with the rat-thing and it screamed angrily. His health bar, hovering just over his head, showed he had taken damage but not much. That gave Basil pause. It was one of his stronger spells, as well as one of the more costly ones, and it had shaved off next to no health.

That was a problem. He had not counted on any sort of defense against spells. He glanced at the specs for the mob again, finding they all had a twenty-five percent resistance to all elemental types save dark and holy. The reasoning was they tended to live out in the wilds and were well suited to dealing with the elements. That combined with Basil's relatively low level meant he wasn't about to deal a great deal of damage, even with his high spells. Granted, they weren't that high; he was still fairly new to this character.

"Okay, I guess we play war of attrition!" Basil shouted as he prepared another spell.

This one was rather straightforward. It had no elemental alignment, much like the little missiles he had used to draw the bandit initially. They did a decent job of stunning, and they didn't cost much mana compared to the lightning blast. Unfortunately, they didn't do much in the way of damage. It was time for the tactic the python was not at all keen on; stun locking and melee attacks, which he wasn't terribly highly ranked on. He was a magic user after all. Physical attacks were not something he specialized in.

The sorcerer drew his staff, which was rather short, looking more like stout casting rod than a proper walking staff, and readied himself. He cast another barrage of stunning missiles, then charged forward, swiping as hard as he could at the bandit with his rod. The numbers flashing over the bandit's head were not at all impressive. His magic attacks were dealing only ten damage or so. And his flailing about with the rod in his primary hand was only doing fifteen each time it connected. Attacks were relatively slow, taking more than two seconds per strike. And his magic attacks took even longer, a full five count before he could cast and land the blow. The stunning effect lasted only another five seconds. Basil started doing the math in his head. It would take well over a minute to finish this creature off.

And that was if he landed each blow perfectly while evading any attacks it managed to squeeze in. There stood the difficulty he had feared. A prolonged, tedious battle that would drain him of his mana and a good portion of what stamina he had regenerated while hiding and sneaking. He would need to stop and refresh with a potion. Otherwise, he would run out of magic or stamina, or worse, he would run out of both.

The battle carried on. The snake was nearing the worst case scenario, his mana and movement nearly drained together. Meanwhile the bandit was only down to perhaps half of his health. Basil made the call to begin recovery. He leapt back to give himself some space, using most of the last few shreds of his movement available. A paw was shoved into his pouch to retrieve a potion. Just as the bandit recovered from his latest stunning, the snake lifted the glass flask to his lips and drank. A new meter ran in his HUD, showing how long it would take for him to finish. Each passing second was an eternity. And when it ended, he was horrified to find he had selected the wrong draught.

"Crap! Movement refresh only! And I don't have enough magic to cast another stun!" the snake cried in dismay.

He kicked himself for his error and brought his rod up to defend. It was just in the nick of time. The bandit shrieked and launched himself at the python. The two tussled about on the ground for a moment before Basil found himself pinned on his back, unable to move more than the odd squirm to evade direct strikes. The rat-thing had him well cornered. Each swing of the creature's weapon saw a hint of his health slip away. And all while his stamina was beginning to drain right before his eyes.

His error had likely cost him his life. He didn't enjoy the thought of dying, respawning, then running all the way back here naked to collect his corpse and its contents. But he could not see any other way out of this. Just as his movement was nearing its end, meaning he would start taking much more serious damage, a prompt appeared in his HUD.

"What!?" Basil shouted in confusion.

The mod he had read over was offering him a chance to make use of it without needing to go through the usual process of selecting an ability, targeting a subject, then activating. It apparently had an in-battle condition that allowed it to function like a quicktime event. As he thought back over what he had read on the mod, he recalled it functioned a great deal like a hold, and right now, that sounded extremely helpful.

"Yes! Enable action!" Basil shouted.

The world then shifted. Instead of watching through his own eyes, the snake was treated briefly to a third person view of the moment. He opened his mouth wide, a soft hiss escaping him as he tilted his head back, readying himself for a strike. Then, in a blur of speed the sorcerer didn't know he was capable of, his jaws were around the bandit's head. A new shriek of anger sounded from the rodent and the black and blue snake gulped, shoving the relatively short thing's head and shoulders into his throat.

Perspective was returned through the sorcerer's eyes, feeling rather jarring. Then came the physical sensation. Basil could actually feel the bandit in his mouth, not to mention his throat. Another gulp followed, dictated by the scripting of the mod, which brought the rat creature up to his hips in the snake's maw. He swallowed again, stretching easily around the wriggling, flailing bandit. Basil winced as his jaws worked about, not having felt this odd sensation before. A tightness developed in his abdomen as the beast he was fighting began to fill his stomach. A few more swallows saw the rat-thing's paws vanish past his lips, and one more gulp cleared the snake's mouth.

Basil sighed loudly as he was finally given control back once more. His belly surged outward strongly, lumpy and active as the angry mob inside tried to fight his way out. He couldn't deal damage from what the snake could tell, and a new gauge appeared in his HUD. From the manual, it was always there, but only visible while the mod was in use. It was his fullness meter. And it was at capacity.

"Ugh... that was... interesting. But at least I don't have to worry about dying now. I feel like I'm gonna pop." Basil moaned as he flopped onto his back.

There was nothing he could do at that point. He was beyond his load limit and encumbered. He would end up using too much movement to be able to get anywhere in a decent amount of time. If another creature attacked, he would surely be easy pickings. Just as he was about to begin bemoaning his decision, a new prompt appeared.

"Don't really have a choice. Yes." the snake said with a grunt.

Immediately, a loud gurgle sounded from his bloated stomach. A slow series of numbers began to drift up from the bulge, still covered in his robes. How the fabric had managed to stretch around it was a small mystery. It must have been a simple skin texture, or it was designed to fit a wide array of player sprite models. But that wasn't what held his interest. He was dealing damage to the rat bandit. And the creature wasn't happy in there.

Each time a round of damage was dealt, Basil saw his own stats start to shift. His health was recovering. It was only one to three health for each round, nowhere near the twenty damage he was dishing out, but it was something. He was beginning to recover, and that was a minor blessing. His magic was slowly recovering as well, and so was his stamina. Digesting the bandit was healing him! Like a slow-acting potion! Gradually, Basil's stomach shrank and the movement finally stopped. When it did, he was declared the victor of the instance of combat. A detailing of rewards was shown, explaining how much copper and silver he had earned, along with experience points.

Then the mod flashed other details on screen. Apparently he had leveled up his swallow and digest abilities. His capacity had gained some improvement as well. He might not actually end up encumbered if he did that again. There was a new buff in his list of active effects. His strength had been improved considerably, but it would only last for about five minutes. After that, it would return to normal. And upon further inspection, what was considered 'normal' had changed as well. It made the snake gawk through his display a little. He had gained a permanent plus two points to his overall strength. That couldn't be right.

"Holy crap... if that's a per-instance effect... this is going to be incredibly overpowered!" he cried in astonishment.

There was something else he was grappling with, something he wasn't sure how he should feel. Once the bandit was in, he had actually enjoyed the feeling. Digesting the creature had been rather pleasant as well, and not just for the fact of healing him. Was the mod designed to make it appealing? If so, why? To give the player further incentive to use the ability? Basil sat up and frowned as he thought over the matter. Maybe there was something to this whole add-on. It had certainly come in exceptionally handy in a jam.

Then Basil noticed something else. His stomach hadn't flattened out completely. He was visibly pudgy now. He pressed a finger against his stomach, finding it to stick out a good deal further than it should now that he had nothing in there to stretch him. He had gained weight. It wasn't nearly as much as what might be realistic, but it was certainly no small amount. He sighed and frowned, unhappy about the added girth.

"Dammit, I didn't wanna end up chubby. I made the model skinny on purpose. Is there a way to work it off or something? Do I burn through it to heal or something?" he asked himself.

He had not read through the whole manual as thoroughly as he probably should have. Surely there was a setting that disabled weight gain from use. As soon as he asked the question, another meter showed up in his HUD. This time, instead of showing how full he was, it showed how hungry he was. Currently, it was empty, but it was beginning to slowly fill back up. He was going to need to eat again to clear it out. And that was when he had an idea.

There were five more of those monsters waiting for him to kill. He had at least three hours before the area reset. He could draw them one by one until he was done. And if he ate them, that would make even faster work of them than if he just attacked with magic and melee. The quest might be easier than his re-evaluation had led him to believe. A sly grin spread across his blunted muzzle and he climbed to his paws.

The trip back to the camp was short, and just as expected, the other five bandits behaved as though nothing had happened to their friend. Basil crept as quietly as he could around to a new side, aiming for a new target. Just as before, the python drew it carefully with tiny bolts of magical energy. It gave chase with cranky noises letting the snake know he was in pursuit. When the distance was once again sufficient, the sorcerer turned and fought.

This time, he didn't bother with lightning. Instead, he led with his adjusted strategy. Stun, three attacks, dodge, then stun again. He was doing considerably more damage this time than before, but was still going to take generous amount of time to finish the bandit. But that didn't bother Basil. He knew what to do next. When he felt comfortable with the creature's level of health, he allowed it to launch a grappling attack. The prompt from before appeared and Basil answered in the affirmative.

This time, instead of witnessing the third person view, he witnessed the whole thing through his own eyes. He opened his mouth wide, hissed, and shoved his jaws over the bandit's head. The exact same scream came from the horrible little creature as he fought. The snake swallowed, finding the strangeness of the experience to be lessened. Or at least more acceptable. Instead of being pinned on his back, Basil managed to stay upright, but his legs were giving out as he sank the bandit down his throat further. He dropped onto the ground with a heavy thump, his rump finding the grass and loam of the forest comfortable enough for the moment.

A series of gulps saw the second rodent-thing vanish into the python's stomach. It swelled out just as it had before, and the creature inside thrashed about angrily according to its programming. This time, Basil sighed in satisfaction, not relief. He began running his paws over the huge bulge, finding something rather gratifying about it. A burp forced its way out of the serpent and he found himself amused enough by it to chuckle. When the digest prompt appeared, he selected yes and heard his tummy get right to work. The gurgles and growls returned, as did the prompts of damage being dealt.

This time, having been better prepared for the fight, Basil had less damage to recover from. When the battle was declared over by the system, he gained his usual winnings and experience. He also saw more leveling from his curiously enjoyable mod. The strength buff had been refreshed, starting back at five minutes and counting down. His base strength had been increased again. And so had his waistline. The added layer of pudge around his middle left the snake puzzled and disheartened, and yet he could not help but find something about it oddly satisfying.

"Maybe it won't be so bad. I'll just hold off using this too much after I finish this quest. Maybe I'll slim back down as I play." Basil said to himself.

As he looked over his form, he noticed his robes weren't fitting quite as well as they once had. His arms were thicker, as were his legs. Even his tail had gained some girth. When he brought his paws to his face, he felt his cheeks were fuller too. It wasn't just his tummy that had grown. He was getting thicker all over. And yet he felt no hindrance in his movement speed or maneuverability.

That told him it had to be temporary. Otherwise, he would have noticed a more sluggish reaction. At least, that was his theory, until he remembered his strength had been enhanced. Even the base level. Was that what made it easier for him to get around with the added weight? It was a theory he felt he needed to test. But now that he was so confident in his new abilities, he decided he didn't want to wait for the buff to wear off and find out.

The python picked himself up, dusted himself off, took a potion to refresh himself, and even cast a couple of simple enhancement spells to aid him. They weren't terribly powerful, but they might make the difference. The heavier snake adjusted his hat and began to make his way back to the camp. As he did so, he noticed something else. The branches overhead were brushing against the tip of his hat. Had he gotten taller? Was he gaining size as well as weight when he ate his opponents? It was another thing to test.

Rather than try to pull aggression from just one of the monsters, Basil took a deep breath, then simply charged right in, casting spells left and right. The four remaining bandits cried out in alarm and anger. Two were thrown to the ground by the initial attack. Another was sent sprawling by a mighty fling of Basil's casting rod. Out of sheer instinct, he balled up one of his paws and threw a punch. It did a good deal more damage than he expected, making him grin. He was starting to feel a little cocky. But in the back of his mind, he knew that if it started to go the wrong way, he would turn and run to find a place to refresh.

Little by little, the battle saw him shave health off of all four of his fellow combatants. The snake was impressed he was able to hold his own so well. One of the more aggressive bandits had taken it upon himself to be their party's equivalent of the tank, drawing the sorcerer's attention more than the rest. That one had taken the brunt of the show of force. As soon as he reached the halfway mark on his health meter, Basil didn't wait for the prompt to appear. He quickly sifted through the list of abilities and activated the one marked 'Swallow'. It must have been some scripted event that took control of everyone in combat with him, because the fighting stopped briefly.

The snake lunged at the bandit nearest him and engulfed his head, just like the previous two. He gulped hard and fast, taking less time to finish off the hateful little thing. When his third meal was secure in his stomach, wriggling and fighting with all its might, Basil resumed the fight. He was delighted to see that he could stay on his feet this time. And the added mass helped in a way he had not intended. As soon as one of the remaining three took up the call of being the party's new tank, the python stepped forward in a sort of lunge. His belly contacted the rat-thing and knocked it to the ground. It had been completely unintentional, but effective.

"What!? I can actually do that!? Awesome!" Basil shouted happily.

Digestion began as soon as the prompt appeared and he selected it. His health began to recover, this time at a higher rate. It was only an average of five units for each round of damage done to his prisoner, but it was enough to offset what he was taking. He was even delighted to see the strength buff renewed, and his base strength grew again. This time, he was on his paws, standing up. There was no doubt about it. Each time he digested one of the bandits, he gained weight--not just about the middle but in his overall mass--and he grew taller. He could actually feel a layer of soft thickness spreading out over him, and his musculature bulging under it as well.

He was no longer the scrawny, weakling sorcerer he had started off as. He was larger, stronger, and more powerful in general, and he liked it. He wanted more. And he would have more. After all, there were three more bandits waiting to be brought down. The python grinned and threw himself into the fray.

"Give me your best shot! You can't beat me!" he bellowed.

The fight continued on, the new tank taking more damage. And he took it faster than his predecessor. As soon as he hit half health, Basil snatched him up as well, stuffing the bandit down his throat. Now, he actually relished the act, looking forward to it as the smaller monster squirmed around in his happily filled gut. A hearty burp followed and he rubbed his bloated middle before returning to the fray. Digesting the fourth bandit took even less time, and his continued growth followed. Basil was deeply enjoying it now.

Among the prompts for successfully beating his latest opponent came a new one. His 'capacity' had gained a level. It had grown along with the rest of him, now giving him the ability to eat and hold two targets instead of just one at a time. The snake licked his lips and didn't bother waiting for either of the remaining bandits to reach half health. He quickly made use of the swallow skill, making short work of the second to last of his targets. As soon as he had one bandit in, he turned his attention to the other. He didn't bother attacking or defending anymore. There was nothing the rat creature could do to seriously harm him.

He stood there, looking down at the bandit as it landed blow after blow, squealing angrily as it hammered away. Basil chuckled deep in his throat as he watched. His health was dropping, reaching the half-way point before he finally decided to stop toying with the little beast. He grabbed it by the throat, opened his jaws, and began stuffing the monster in. He hadn't even told the game he wanted to use the ability. He just carried it out. It still appeared in his display as if he had, but apparently he could trigger it without needing to call out the command.

The snake's gut pushed out further and further until he finished off the last of the six he had been sent to dispatch. A heavy thump saw the python drop onto the ground to sit. His paws roamed over his engorged stomach. It felt absolutely marvelous, far better than just holding a single monster inside. And now, he could relax and take his time. The first thing he noticed was that his robes were in tatters. It was a combination of the fighting ripping them up as well his growth splitting the seams in places. It was most visible around his well-occupied stomach. The pristine white of his belly scales were completely visible, no longer anywhere near small enough to be hidden by fabric.

"Heh... guess I'll need to buy some new equipment when I get back. Might want to leave it open in the front from now on. And I gotta see if I can brandish a different weapon now. I should be strong enough." Basil said to himself.

His self-congratulations came to an end as soon as he heard a deep growl come from the cave he was sitting just outside of. It had been powerful enough to feel running through the ground, giving the snake reason to worry. Instead of just enjoying taking his time breaking down the last two he had eaten, he hastened the act. The bandits were made short work of, their effects spreading over him.

The snake gained in height, width, and strength. When he stood, he had to be close to three meters tall now. His stomach was a firm, taut ball that stuck out generously from his dense frame. It stunned him how much he had changed since this all started. There had to be a point where it didn't make as such great an impact. Otherwise, he would just keep growing at the same rate. He wouldn't fit in most towns if that were the case.

"Well, that answers that. Now, let's hope it's enough to deal with whatever this thing is." the snake said, turning to face the cave entrance.

The growling continued as a series of heavy footfalls gave the earth reason to tremble. Then, from out of the darkness emerged what had to be the bandit leader. It was another rodent-like monster, just as grotesque in its exaggeration, only much bigger. It stood roughly as tall as the snake, and possessed a similarly thick build. It opened his mouth and loosed a blood-curdling squeal of rage, then went on the attack.

Basil lifted an arm to block the blow, finding he could do so surprisingly easily. Had he been just a bit slower, he would not have been so lucky. He balled up his paw and threw a punch, sending the bandit stumbling back a few steps. The snake turned and swung the arm holding his staff. It connected, giving the bandit leader's head a strong jerk, no doubt causing a great deal of trauma to the neck.

Whatever sort of pain the blow normally might carry with it was shrugged off and the bandit pressed the attack. Basil frowned, roared out a battle cry, and charged, this time opting for that new little trick of his. Had he been the size he was two bandits ago, he would not have tried it. Now, he had enough mass around his waist he felt he could manage it without needing to eat someone. He shoved his gut forward as soon as he came into contact with the giant rat monster. The action knocked the wind out of the beast, sending him falling backwards onto his back. Basil didn't stop. He coiled his legs and leapt, arms forward, aiming to fall right on the beast.

A new scream filled the air, this time of pain and anger. The thick, strong, heavyweight snake had belly flopped right onto the creature. Were it not a game, such an attack might have broken a number of bones. As it stood, the game had no approximation for any sort of flattening effect. It did however deal considerable damage. In just a few blows, Basil had knocked the 'field boss' down to roughly half his original health.

The prompt to swallow appeared, both amusing and worrying the snake. Curiosity got the better of him and he selected the affirmative. A paw grabbed the bandit leader's throat and dragged him close once Basil had rolled off him. The snaked opened his mouth just as wide as ever and began to greedily stuff the hideous creature down his throat. It was considerably more difficult than the first bandit. The fact that they were both nearly the same size meant he had so much more to get down, but he pressed on. A loud groaning growl rang out from the python's stomach. Clearly it was eager to be fed.

With great effort, and no small amount of discomfort, Basil managed to sink the squirming rat-thing in up to his hips. From there, he grabbed at the bandit leader's kicking legs and slurped and gulped. The whole effort took just long enough for the strength buff to wear off, leaving Basil weaker than he expected. He pulled the monster's paws into his mouth and swallowed one last time. As soon as he felt the whole of the heavy, bulky thing fill out his stomach, a belch shook the ground and frightened off the nearby birds.

"Ugh... okay... that was a bit much." Basil complained.

Even in the pain of an intense tummy ache, he still found it deeply pleasant and satisfying. The bandit leader fought just as his previous meals had. The snake hoisted himself onto his feet, finding he was encumbered, but not so much that he couldn't move. He would just have to use a great deal of stamina to get any meaningful distance. Without needing to think about it, the snake selected the digest prompt, not wanting to spend too long at the camp. After all, they might respawn and he was in no condition to eat them all over again. He had pushed himself beyond his capacity limits with the leader.

The prompts for damage from digestion rolled past. His health, mana, and movement all slowly recovered, and he reached up to adjust his pointed hat. It looked a little silly on him now that he was so big. As Basil looked over his new bulky frame, he grinned, finding he was greatly enjoying the added mass. He still looked fat, but along with the fat came additional muscle, suggesting he could brawl with the best of them. By the time his stomach had done its work and finished off the leader, he had found he was closer to four meters tall now than he was three. He was going to have a hard time just fitting in the beds at the inn.

When the game finally declared him victorious, his experience and winnings scrolled by. He had gained four levels throughout the whole course of the quest. His swallow, digest, and capacity skills all leveled as well, unlocking a few others he had not read about yet, and they were most intriguing. However, they required he disable the adult content filter. He would have to look over that later. A new splash appeared, declaring the quest almost complete. He just needed to go claim his reward back in town. And once all of those announcements had passed, another new one he had never seen before appeared.

"Well how about that!" Basil laughed, pausing to think for a minute, "Hmm, might be kind of fun to dual class as a warrior sorcerer! I wonder if they make spell-casting weapons other than wands and staves. Might be cool to have a hammer to cast with. If not, I'm still good. This thing's a weapon on it's own!"

He slapped an open paw against his huge gut, proud of the fact that he could do so much damage with it. It was going to be fun finding out just how overpowered that attack was.
