Silken Memories

"W-where...am I?"

Carmelita let out a groan as she finally started to come to, blurry memories of just before she blacked out stirring along in her muddled mind as her eyes opened to see nothing but darkness. A few moments would pass in that confused state before she noticed the cold metal on her back or the weight on her face - some part of her subconscious fighting from the back of her mind to bring forth her train of thought once more.

"The Contessa!" Her body would try to shoot up, pain jolting through her spine as her neck and limbs were held down by cold steel clamps. "Where are you!?"

"Finally awake I see?" The spidery words would be met with nothing more than a deep growl as the vixen's face shot towards the direction of the pattering feet - a large visor obscuring anything more than her muzzle and ears as they folded back. "I was getting tired of waiting."

"Let me out of here!" Carmelita struggled uselessly against the bindings as she spoke, snarling and growling under her breath. "When the rest of my tea--"

"Oh, your team isn't coming~" The arachnid let out a devious giggle as she ran a hand across the vixen's muzzle, avoiding a snapping jaw as she

"Now now, don't be that way - your sacrifice is going to help millions of people just like you find their true place in society." The Contessa skittered away as she got to work at a nearby panel - her eyes intently watching as the lights on the visor flickered on. "Why don't you just...relax~"

The visor buzzed to life as the darkness was immediately replaced with a sea of pink and purple shapes shifting and swirling slowly among themselves. The disorienting display was made even worse by the grogginess still clinging to the back of the vixen's mind and the cool cavern air. Even still she'd shake her head, growling all the while as her struggling continued.

"Maybe you could've stopped me...if you were any good - if you were a real cop" The Contessa giggled as she watched on, ignoring the vixen's growling and thrashing as she reveled in her victory.

"But you aren't a real cop, are you Carmelita?" The wicked laugh echoed in the vixen's mind as her thoughts began to stick to the web weaved by the words that continued to sear into her subconscious - calls for her to relax, mindless bliss promised to her if only she surrendered her thoughts. "You took the physical exam...but you failed...humiliated."

"I...f-failed?" Carmelita struggled to think as text began to flash across her eyes. "Th-that can't be right."

"Oh, but it is~ Don't worry your little head too much about it though, a woman like you never had a chance at a man's job" The words trailed off into giggles. "You aren't cut out for it~"

A look of confusion would slowly start to replace the vixen's harsh snarl - growls and grunts fading as she reflected, tried to remember. She would feel herself have to struggle harder and harder to wrestle those memories from the web they were caught in, every second that passed making them fade into a blurry haze as they were stolen away forever by a thick cocoon woven by those silky words. All the while the pulsing and flashing of the visor would only help weaken the walls in her mind and reaffirm the words spoken in that mocking tone.

"N-no...I-I have to...s-stop you." Carmelita would let out a growl as she started to struggle once more against the bindings, the feeling of the memories slipping one-by-one from her mind fueling the final act of desperation.

"Oh, but my dear~ You can't~" The Contessa moved closer to the vixen once more, resting her fingers on the metal table. "You are far too weak...far too dull. You are just a housewife, it's all you were good for after that failure."

Carmelita's face would curl into a frown as she muttered to herself, trying to push off the heavy thick words she was getting caught up in. She couldn't fight against it though as her mind began to piece together new memories, spinning a new life for her to replace that blurry memories that began to blink out one-by-one. False experiences reshaping who she was, vivid stories playing in her mind. Immense shame and fear would come over her as the giggles turned into the uproarious laughter of all those men that had watched her fail, as the swirling pink and purples turned into the simple course she had been unable to complete.

"N-no...I-I can't...r-remember...th..."

The words left her lips as a whisper now, throat growing dry as her struggling stopped entirely. The confidence and anger she had when she was caught was no more now as the vivid memories continued to play out in her mind - a life changed forever in an instant. The mocking words and searing text would fade into her subconscious - threaded through her thoughts like fine silk as her new life was slowly bound together.

"It's okay...just let it go - let all that stress and fear fade away and accept your new life~"

The vixen bit her lip as she let out a soft whimper, feeling her mind grow lighter still, mind helpless to fight against it as the last bit of her former self was lost forever - drained from her mind by those venomous fangs of words that pierced into thoughts.

"J-just a housewife...no need to think...no need to worry."
