College day's pt1
Turning ever so slightly sen murred with little awareness that he was close to the edge. Walking out of the bathroom Albine was drying off his face when his eyes cast a glance towards the sleeping fur. Chuckling albine walked to the side of the fur's bed and lightly tapped his shoulder. As if on que sen immediately bolted up and cried out "im late oh god no", he began dashing from side to side as he gathered his books for the day. Albine stood there with a light smile on his muzzle as he watched the jumpy fox. "Classes dont start for another 2 hour's", the husky looked at sen with those light blue eyes and smiled. "Though i would be more than happy to accompany you to a cup of coffee and some breakfest", the husky put on his glasses slightly adjusting them before grabbing a pair of jeans."But i thought...", albine cut off the fox and smiled, "you thought youd have to start early on your first day".
Albine let a paw lightly stroke the side of sens's cheek, "but you need not worry they never make us start to early on the first day". The fox stood up looking away bashfully thinking to himself how lucky he was that his fur was black cause if only he could see the blush that had built up. The husky moved over to his dresser pulling out a tight white t-shirt he began getting dressed for the upcoming day. "So what exactly is your first course?", the husky looked at sen in pure curiousity. "Dr. Gates for anatomy", the husky smiled that same warm smile. "As coincidental as it seems i have the same class first", the husky chuckled lightly adjusting his glasses and grabbing his key's. Sen was already ready wearing a pair of jeans and t-shirt. Grabbing his books before they left the husky smiled and kindly took them off sen. "It wouldnt seem right to not show a little chivalry", the husky smiled carrying the books before unlocking his trunk and putting sen's with his.
Slamming shut the trunk each got in the car and the husky had started it casually driving through the morning breeze. Sen took note to how nice the car was, it was apparent that albine had a thing for classic muscle. "So, I had been trying to find out as i lay sleeping in my bed who it was that was watching me lastnight as i took my nightly dip", the husky looked at sen and smiled warmly. Sen's eye's became as large as saucer's when he heard these word's and he couldnt help but look away. He feared that albine would become angry with him for watching him and no longer want to be his roomie. "Hey...", albine took sen's paw into his own and gently held it, "dont think im the least bit upset because im not". Sen looked at the husky almost astounded that he had known his exact thought's and simply smiled in relief. "Im sorry...i couldnt sleep and well i heard some splashing...so i got curious".
Albine chuckled lightly as he held sen's paw evidently enjoying the company of another, "no need to be sorry hun in fact you should join me sometime". Sen instantly felt a wave of warmth wash over him as his blush deepened, thank god for black fur he thought. "Well...i dont know cant we get in trouble for that...i mean cause it's after hour's". The husky smiled as he pulled into a nice looking cafe, "not really my father know's the headmaster from childhood so i get a little bit more of a bargain than the other's". As the two stepped out of the car they made their way toward's the cafe, and albine being the gentlemen that he was opened the door allowing sen to enter first. "Thank you", sen spoke kindly and albine melted a little on the inside as he was attracted to kindness...but only if it was pure. "You are very welcome", albine smiled walking behind sen before sitting in a booth that was slightly warmed from the sun yet there was no annoying glare. "This is my favorite place to come in the morning's", albine said as a slender looking rabbit waitress walked up to them.
"Hey albine", the waitress smiled sweetly pulling out a notepad she looked at sen and smiled. "Hey who's this handsome fox", she said as she let a hand lightly rub under his chin. Sen murred softly at the feeling and albine smiled watching the spectacle, "this is sen, sen this is Lacy my oldest friend since i was a cub". "Pleasure to meet you", sen smiled lightly shaking the rabbit's hand, "my and a gentlemen at that, i know where you get it from". She chuckled casting a glance at albine before winking, "now what can i get you two?". "Just the usuall lacy", albine looked over at sen adjusting his glasses, "feel free to order whatever it is you like sen lacy here give's me great discount's". The fox blinked before looking at the rabbit, "you own the cafe?", the rabbit smiled nodding slowly, "indeed i do, my parents left it to me after they died...havent been able to leave it since". The rabbit sighed with an almost ominous tone, "guess I havent had the heart to let my childhood die", albine looked at lacy and smiled that warm inviting smile, "you always were a kid at heart lacy".
The rabbit lightly slapped his shoulder, "well you cant enjoy life if your completely grown up where's the fun in that?". Sen smiled nodding lightly, "I agree with you lacy", he cast his eyes upon albine's, "something's are meant to be held onto". "Thank you sen", the rabbit chuckled noticing the look between the two, "now what can i get you hun?". Sen smiled folding up his menu, "a cup of coffee would be nice", the rabbit smiled taking up the menu's, "of course i'll be back shortly". Crossing his leg's albine smiled at sen, "Red told me about you", he chuckled. Sen's ear's perked up as he heard red's name, "you know each other?", "of course he's been my study partner for Mr. Eliot's class for the last 2 year's". Sen looked down slightly thinking there may be some connection between the two and felt stupid for even agreeing to come. As though sensing sen's feeling's albine once again took his paw into his own and gently held it.
"Sen we're only study partner's nothing more nothing less", the fox's maw had been agape for the past couple of seconds and albine lightly chuckled. "Ho...how do you do that?", albine smiled rubbing a digit lightly over sen's paw, "my father taught me how to sense one's emotions...he also taught me how to be a gentlemen". "He used to say, son ive raised you to be a fine gentlemen...and I have no doubt's that you will succeed in being one...but that will only help you halfway it's up to you to be a true gentlemen". Sen smiled at the word's he could already tell that his father had done a very good job and it was evident that he took those words to heart. "Well your father was right", sen took hold of albine's paw's this time and smiled, "you did succeed in becoming a gentlemen", sen then leaned forward and planted a light but affectionate kiss on albine's muzzle and a light pink drew across the husky's face. "Awwww now that's what i was waiting for", standing to the side of them was lacy holding each fur's cup of coffee. "Love at first sight can be such a strange thing can it not?", she looked at sen winking as she gave each their coffee. "Oh dont be a tease lacy", albine chuckled standing up to hug the rabbit.
"Me? why i dont know what your talking about", the rabbit chuckled returning the hug, "it's good to see you albine". "As is the same to you lacy", the husky looked at the clocked and sighed, "time to go sen". The fox stood up briefly setting down the coffee to hug the rabbit, "thank you for your kindness", "dont worry about it hun". The rabbit slipped a piece of paper into the fox's back pocket and whispered into his ear, "call me if you want to know more about him", she smiled one last time before walking away leaving the fox breathless and curious at the same time. Grabbing their coffee's they headed back to albine's car and drove off back to the university ready for their first class together.
