To all readers:

This story was actually for my English Finals. Since I was pretty much satisfied with the rough draft, I decided to use it as a side story for Parallel Universe. It involves new and old characters that are sometimes mentioned in the main story. This is actually also my first attempt on making a m/m story, so...

Disclaimer thingy: if you're old enough... yada, yada, yada.... I really don't know about it.

Oh, and PS: Please leave any type of critisism. I'm sorta curious about my new prespective.

~~~
The story all began 500 years ago...
The large manor stood proudly over the green hills. The white walls turned brighter under the bright sunlight. Inside, an arctic wolf stirred as the daylight reached his eyes. He slowly blinked his eyes, revealing his left green eye and right blue eye to the world around him. He slowly sat up and stretched. His snow white fur stood up due to the long amount of time spent in bed. He yawned and slowly laid back down and wrapped his arms around a lion beside him. The brown maned feline felt the arms and slowly opened his eyes. His green eyes stared gently towards the arctic wolf as he wrapped his strong arms around him.
"Good morning, hun," the lion smiled.
"Good morning to you too," the wolf replied.
"Did you sleep well?"
"I did because I have my hunky lion by my side."
"I love you, hun," the lion said as he kissed the wolf's head. The wolf smiled happily and leaned closer to the lion.
"Do you want to stay like this for the rest of the day?" the lion smiled as he stroked the snowy fur on the wolf's back.
"I wish we could, Ter," Joy replied as he slowly let go of the lion. "But I have to cook for the four of us, remember?"
The wolf slowly stood up from the bed, raking his claws over his fur as a replacement of a comb. The wolf's slender body is well toned, unlike the muscular lion on the bed. The wolf stood up and wore his brown shirt over his body, topping his green pants he wore to sleep the night before it. Terrence continued to stare at the wolf as the wolf raked his head fur with his claws, taking care of his crazy bed fur. The wolf turned his head and smiled back.
"Like what you see?" he asked the dazed lion.
"Of course I did," Ter responded as he stood up from the bed, revealing his buffed physique to the wolf. He slowly walked to the wolf and kissed the side of his muzzle. "It's your body after all."
The white wolf blushed as he kissed the lion back on his lips.
"Why don't you wake up the other two while I go to the kitchen and fix us some breakfast?" John smiled as he left the master bedroom and head towards the kitchen. Ter smiled and wore his brown shirt as he padded down the hall. He opened one of the bedrooms down the hall of the east wing. He quietly padded towards the bed and looked down towards the sleeping fox on the large bed. The red furred vulpine rested peacefully in the dark without a care in the world. The lion smiled and nudged the side of the fox slightly.
"Jeremiah," Ter said melodically. "Wakey wakey."
The fox groaned slightly and turned away from the lion, which caused him to sigh. The lion walked towards the curtains and quickly opened them to let the sunshine enter the dark room. The fox groaned once more as he covered his eyes with the pillow below his head.
"Jeremy," Terrance called. "If you don't wake up now, I'm gonna do something drastic. You hear me?"
The fox groaned once more and sat up on the bed. He smacked his lips as his eyes slowly open and adjust to the light. He tilted his head towards the lion and stared at him.
"You sure know how to ruin a good dream, huh Ter?" the 18 year old smiled.
"Well, get yourself ready," Ter smiled back. "Joy's cooking breakfast right now and he wants you to finish it before we train this morning."
"Alright," Jeremiah responded as the lion exited his room. He slowly rose from his bed and dressed himself in a tan colored shirt and pants before walking out of the room towards the dining room below. His blue eyes saw an older red fox with his muzzle in a book. As he sat down on the chair closest to the door, the older fox's ear perked up and he raised his head. His brown eyes stared at the younger fox's body before he finally closed his book.
"Good morning, sleepy tail," he smiled.
"Good morning, Chris," Jeremiah smiled back. "And what do you mean by sleepy tail?"
"Your tail is still having it's bed fur," Ter said as he entered the dining room from behind the young fox. Jeremiah looked back on his tail and combed it with his claw. Ter sat down on the opposite of the boy, facing his back towards the window.
"Breakfast is ready!" John said as he entered the room with a cart of food. Each plate contains scrambled eggs, bacon, and mashed potatoes with gravy. As he placed a plate in front of Ter, John took a quick smooch on the lion's muzzle.
"Thanks, hun," Terrance smiled. "Everything looks great."
"Smells great too," Chris added as he took a whiff of the scent.
"Well boys, dig in," John said with a smile on his muzzle. "We'll train after we eat."
As the four of them started to eat, John noticed the young fox's stare heading towards him.
"Is something wrong, Jeremiah?" John asked.
"Nothing," he sighed as he continues to eat the breakfast menu.
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
"No," Jeremiah shook his head.
"Alright. But just remember that I'm here if you need me," John smiled
"Okay," Jeremiah smiled back. After the four of them finished their breakfast and cleaned the dishes, they head straight towards the training room on the second floor. The white wolf drew a foil from the wall, Jeremy a pair of daggers, and Chris a sword. Terrance just raised his paw forward and summons his great sword.
"Alright," John said as he swung the weapon a few times. "How do we do this today?"
"How about me and Chris versus you two?" Jeremiah asked.
"Fair enough," Ter shrugged. The four of them head towards their positions and raised their weapons.
"On three," John smiled.
"One..."
"Two..."
"Five!"
As John said the number, the rest skidded forward, stopping themselves from lunging towards each other, but failed miserably and dropped to the matted ground. John just laughed out loud as they picked themselves up and gave him a glare.
"That's not very funny!" Chris growled.
"Sorry, sorry," John said as he wiped a tear from his eye due to the heavy laughter. "Alright. For real this time."
"Ready?" he said as everyone went back to their position once more.
"Three!"
Everyone immediately dashed forward and clashed in their sparring session. They made several combinations of attacks and defenses towards each other. In desperate situations, they supported teach other to block or avoid their opponent's attacks. They continued for a whole hour which ends with Terrance pinning Chris down on the floor and John already disarming the younger fox and pointed his weapon towards him.
"Nice workout everyone," John said as he lowered his weapon. Terrance helped the older fox beneath him and dismissed his sword to the summon realm. They head towards their respective rooms and took a quick shower. As Jeremiah entered the living room with Chris, they spotted Terrance and John cuddling on one of the sofas, enjoying the fire in the fireplace.
"Hey guys," Chris called. "I'm gonna head out towards the castle, okay?"
"Tell Albert I said hi," John said as the steel armored fox head out to his work. John turned his head towards the young fox and smiled.
"Do you want something?" he asked.
"Can I go and visit Dean?" Jeremiah asked, his tail wagging heavily behind him.
"Hmm... Someone's got a little crush huh?" Ter grinned. Jeremiah blushed deeply and nodded.
"Enjoy yourselves," John smiled at him. Jeremiah smiled happily and dashed out of the estate.
"Our little boy's growing up," John sighed as he leaned closer to the lion. "He looks just like his father."
"I wonder where Gerald and Gabriella ended up..." Ter said as he scratched the back of John's right ear which causes him to murr. "I hope they're alright..."
"Me too... I kinda wished they could be here for him..."
"Well, he's in your good hands," Ter smiled at the wolf on his shoulder.
"'Our' good hands," John smiled back before pulling the lion into a deep and passionate kiss. Their tongues danced as they explored each other's mouth before they broke the kiss, staring at each other's eyes.
"Looks like someone's a little excited," John chuckled as he rubbed the lion's thigh.
"Do you wanna take it upstairs?" Terrance asked as he picked the wolf up in a bridal position.
"I thought you'd never ask..." John smiled as he held on to Ter's neck as the lion carried him to their private room.
Jeremiah ran down the grassy fields reaching towards the wooden cabin of his destination. It's a two storied building, large enough to support a family of five. He padded up the door and knocked it. His tail was waving back and forth as he patiently waited. It stopped swaying and quickly froze as a sudden chill hung around the orange fox. His first instinct was to jump back. He made a back flip as he drew a pair of daggers from the back of his brown belt. He held the two of them on a reverse position as he landed on the grass and prepared a battle stance. His blue eyes quickly scanned the area to find a group of fiends surrounding him. They took a form of black armored knights, ready to bring their long swords down towards the fox.
"Well," he chuckled. "This is sort of a foul play, isn't it?" The knights slowly drew closer and sprinted at the last few meters. Thanks to his agile body, Jeremiah quickly darted upwards and ran on top of the black helmets. He made a powerful thrust on his foot, propelling him into the air. He landed on his feet and dashed for a counter attack. He swiftly slashed the gaps of every obsidian armors, wounding the fiends. Realizing that his attacks are shallow and ineffective, he jumped back and prepared for another stance. His ears perked up as the door behind him opens. His head turned to see a black wolf staring back towards his direction. His golden eyes peered deeply to him which causes Jeremiah's heart to skip a beat. He felt his blood rushing towards his face as he blushed to see the handsome wolf behind him.
"Behind you!" he shouted. Jeremiah quickly snapped out of his daze and rolled to his right, barely avoiding the sword that almost hacked him into two when he wasn't looking. He quickly got back on his feet and lunged to the attacker. He made a quick twin slice on the gap between the helm and the breastplate before making a back flip kick to dispose the helm. The fiend's head is shaped like an octopus and the blood on it's neck is green. Jeremiah quickly beheaded the creature before it tries to move away. The fiend dispersed into the air and Jeremiah faces the rest of the army.
"One down, about two hundred left to go," he said. He heard footsteps running to his side to see the black wolf running to his side with his own long sword on his two hands.
"You sure about this, Dean?" Jeremiah asked.
"I can't just let you fight alone, can I?" Dean smiled back. "Don't worry. I got your back."
'He's worried about me...' Jeremiah smiled and his heart fluttered at the thought but quickly shook his head. 'No! Now's not the time for that!'
"Ready?" Jeremiah asked as he prepared for a battle stance.
"Whenever you are," Dean replied as he took his own stance. The two faces hundreds of fiends that outnumbers them by plenty, knowing their odds of survival.
"Let's go!"
