Patreon reward for Frinkel on FA

He wanted a little something for AR April of him waking up having been transformed into a two year old raccoon kid! So... Here he is! Waking up having transformed into a two year old raccoon kid! Why? Because of sinister things. Look at the people in this place... In their white coats and holding their clipboards. Sure, the rooms may be colorfully decorated... But they're sinisterly colorful!Support on Patreon and help make more of these stories possible!Or leave a tip on Kof-Fi

The Nursery

Frinkel let out a yawn as he woke up. He refused to open his eyes at first wanting to get just a few more minutes of sleep. However he immediately realized that something was wrong. Something was off... He opened his eyes and looked around. His bed was not his bed! It was still some form of bed... But there were wooden bars on all sides of him trapping him on the bed! But that wasn't the thing that felt off. There was... Something off about himself.

Frinkel looked down at himself. He saw three very alarming things.

One of them was the fact that he appeared to be an animal now. He still had a humanoid body... But he clearly wasn't human. His body was covered in blue and black fur... And judging from his striped tail he was some kind of raccoon person!

The second thing was that his species wasn't the only thing that had changed. His body was small and chubby now. It was hard to figure out his exact age being covered in fur... But he looked like he was some kind of toddler. He was two years old at the absolute oldest if even that!

The third thing... Was that someone had changed his clothes. Given his new tail and new age his old clothes obviously wouldn't fit anymore... But it was still rather distressing to know someone had changed his entire outfit on him! Instead of his adult clothes he was now wearing a set of overalls and a striped shirt.

Frinkel attempted to stand up and looked around. His legs were wobbly now. He felt awkward and unbalanced. He was strong enough to stand... But he felt like he might topple over any moment if he tried walking. He grabbed the wooden bars surrounding his bed to steady himself as he looked around.

He was in a very colorful room. The floor was made of foam that was divided into red, yellow, blue and green blocks. There were stars and spaceships hanging from the ceiling, especially right over his bed. He could see several stuffed animals thrown around the room... And looking around discovered there was even one in his crIB: It was a raccoon plushie! Kind of like him... Except a stuffed animal instead of a real raccoon!

There were also several other beds with wooden bars throughout the room... And Frinkel realized at once what it was. He was in a crib. He could see other cribs throughout the room and there were other baby animal people sleeping in the cribs.

"Oh! Looks like someone is awake!" A voice called as a person in a one coat walked over to Frinkel's crib. She towered over him like some kind of monster! Frinkel tried to move back away from her... But his legs didn't want to obey him. He felt flat on his bottom and was unable to resist as she lifted him up out of the crib.

"No-No!" Frinkel gave a shout. He wanted to say more but for some reason found that a lot of words evaded him at the moment. It was like he could remember them but he couldn't say them.

"Ohhh someone is cranky!" The woman in the white coat replied. "Did you not get a full nap... Or are you just hungry?"

"Not! Not hungry!" Frinkel tried articulate his words more. He tried to demand to know what was going on... But it was just so difficult for some reason. Forming words was hard enough! He couldn't quite form sentences for some reason. "Where!?" He managed to say that... But nothing else.

"You are feisty!" The woman said. "But are you sure you aren't hungry?" She held Frinkel against her shoulder and very lightly shook him while walking across the room. He wanted to flail and try to escape... But his body wasn't strong enough. For some reason, he found himself gripping her shoulder as if he needed his captor to keep him safe. "But you must be hungry by now..." While the woman held Frinkel with one arm she opened a small silver box with her free arm. From inside she produced a bottle of milk.

"NO!" Frinkel shouted. He wasn't a baby! He wasn't going to drink from a bottle!

"Come on! Milk is good for you!" The woman said. "If you're good for me now... You can have juice and a cookie after nap time!"

"No! No bottle!" Frinkel managed to say that. He wasn't going to drink from that! There was no possible way he was drinking a bottle! He was adamant! Yet... As he tried to fight his own body seemed to rebel against him! Suddenly his stomach began to growl very loudly.

"See, I knew you were hungry," the woman said. "Now come on, stop fussing and drink your milk." She pressed the bottle up to Frinkel's mouth. He tried to resist... But he was hungry and his body seemed to have a mind of its own. Next thing he knew he was sucking at the bottle happily drinking the milk. After a couple of minutes he had drunken the entire bottle.

"There's a good boy," the woman said. "Now let's get you back to bed. Nap time isn't over yet." She sat the empty bottle down and began to rock Frinkel in her arms.

"No nap!" Frinkel whined... But his stomach was full of milk and the rocking was making him sleepy. He tried as hard as he could to keep his eyes open but soon was off into dream land.

When Frinkel awoke next he found himself back in his crib. The room was brighter than it was last time... And he realized that the lights had been off previously.

"Up and at them!" It was a woman's voice that spoke. Again she wore a white coat but Frinkel wasn't sure if it was the same woman as last time. "Nap time is over! Let's get you a snack and then you can play with some of the others!" She bent down and lifted Frinkel out of the crib. He didn't try to resist this time. There wasn't exactly anyplace for him flee too even if his body was strong enough.

Frinkel was lifted out of the crib and carried across the room. He was sat down on the floor as the person walked away. He started to crawl away but didn't get far when they returned.

"I believe you were promised juice and a cookie!" The woman said as she knelt down to hand both of the promised items to Frinkel. The cookie was a small chocolate chip one. The juice was in a plastic sippy cup with a lid.

"No! No! Wanna go out!" Frinkel was trying to explain he wanted to leave this place. He was confused and had no idea what was going on.

"After you eat your snacks," the woman chided. "Can't take them outside."

"But wanna!" Frinkel protested. He looked at the juice in one hand and the cookie in the other. He considered throwing them but! But...

Cookies and juice were good.

Wait no he was an adult! He wasn't going to be swayed to behave by such a pathetic bribe! Or so he thought! But instead of saying or doing anything he found himself just silently munching on the cookie. When it was finished he drank the juice from the cup to the very last drop.

"There you go! Now you can go outside!" The woman lifted him off the ground and carried him again. This time she took him out of the room. She went through a long series of hallways before finally arriving outside. There was a field of grass here with a small playground. All the equipment on the playground was small and made of plastic to be safe for very young children. There was a large fence surrounding the playground to make sure none of the children walked off.

Frinkel stared at the fence wondering if he could scale it! It had to be at least ten feet tall! It was like half as big as the adults!

Wait no... Adults weren't ten feet tall. His thoughts were getting cluttered. He shook his head to try to concentrate as the woman sat him down in the grass.

"Now you play good with the other kids," the woman said as she left him there and walked off.

"But but!" Frinkel tried to object. Again his brain just couldn't form the more complicated words he wanted. He was just left on sitting in the grass by himself with no clue what was going on! Part of him wanted to cry just out of frustration... But big boys don't cry and he was a big boy!

No..

He was an adult! Not a big boy! And he wasn't going to cry because... He was a big boy dang it!

Frinkel sniffled. He wasn't going to cry.

HE WASN'T GOING TO CRY!"

"Hewo," Frinkel was interrupted from his thoughts as another child approached him. It was a bunny child this time.

"...H... hi?" Frinkel sniffed again. He wasn't crying. His vision was a little blurry but... That wasn't tears.

"You ok?" The bunny asked.

"It... it!" Frinkel wanted to explain what was going on. But he couldn't. He couldn't understand why he couldn't arrange the words.

"Do you want to play on the seesaw?" The bunny asked.

"I!" Frinkel didn't want to play on the seesaw! He wanted to go home... Except... He kind of did want to play on the seesaw. It... He closes his eyes and wiped away the tears. It looked like a lot of fun. "O... Okay!" Frinkel managed to stay. He stood up on his wobbly legs and slowly followed the bunny over to the seesaw. Every few steps he would nearly fall and topple over... The bunny laughed a couple of times... But the bunny fell over too and that was funny!

By the time the two got to the seesaw Frinkel couldn't remember what he had been not crying about. He saw on the seesaw as it went up and down with him and the bunny playing on it. This was so simple... But it was so much fun! He couldn't even remember what he had been so upset about! Maybe there was something wrong... But he pushed it to the back of his mind. As long as he got to play with his new friend he didn't care!

Meanwhile... At the edge of the playground a man in a white coat observed all the children as they played. He held a clipboard that he occasionally wrote notes on as he watched.

"Interesting..." The man muttered as he watched Frinkel specifically and made notes. "Perhaps we should consider expanding our tests." He continued to write notes. Meanwhile the toddlers on the playground continued to play not even taking notice of the strange man.
