The Return of Dr. Pandamonium

"Ahhhhh ha ha haaaaaaa!" Dr. Pandamonium was dresses in his usual black and white striped suit. A fedora sat atop his head while a black bandana coveted his muzzle. Only his ears and eyes were visible. "Soon the world will be made to bow down at my feet! I've suffered setbacks thanks to would be heroes but now my time has come! As soon as my new satellite is in orbit... Taking over the world will be as easy as taking candy from a baby!"

The panda paused and looked around after this. He was in the abandoned warehouse that acted as his secret lab. Aside from him the building was devoid of life.

"It's just not the same without a captive audience to hear your evil speeches." Dr. Pandamonium sighed. He consoles himself with the fact that his current level of secrecy at least guaranteed his satellite launch would go off unopposed. Once everything was in position! Then he could put on a proper public display of villainy. "Well at least I get to experience the satisfaction of a plan that's come to fruition."

"I'm sure it'll work out just as well as your other plans." A wolf dressed as a detective with a brown coat and hat stood in the doorway of the warehouse. "But hey maybe this time it'll only blow up in your face once."

"Odin Ashcroft!?" Dr. Pandamonium shouted. "How did you uncover my plot!? And how did you find me!?"

"It wasn't hard," Odin smiled. "I am after all this city's finest detective. But also you really shouldn't live tweet your villainous plans. Especially not with location turned on."

"But how did you penetrate my lair!?" Dr. Pandamonium asked.

"Front door was unlocked." Odin shrugged. "Honestly we've been here for like fifteen minutes. It just seemed rude to interrupt since you were doing the whole evil monologue thing."

"Well it matters not! For though you have discovered my lair it will be the last thing you ever-" Dr. Pandamonium paused. "Wait when you say we do you mean like the royal we or..."

"Whelp he doesn't have robot sentries anymore. Was fun while it lasted." What spoke was a small orange kitten as it walked into the warehouse. He was clapping his paws together to shake them free of dust. He wore no clothing and wasn't even knee high in comparison to his wolf partner.

"Arrrrrrrgh!" Dr. Pandamonium let out a scream. "Not him! Keep that foul blood-crazed beast away from me!"

"Hey I'm not foul!" The kitten whined.

"Easy now Calex." The wolf patted the kitten on the head before turning back to the panda. "So what do you think Dr. Pandamonium? Want to turn yourself in now or should I let my partner have a chance to convince you?"

"I'm a deterrent!" Calex smiled happily.

"W-Well i-it doesn't matter!" Dr. Pandamonium stammered. He was visibly shaking as he took a step back away from the two. "M-my p-plan is still fool proof there's nothing you can do to stop me!"

"Is that so?" Odin smiled and started to walk forwards the panda.

"S-stand back!" Dr. Pandamonium quickly fled to a nearby console and slammed his fist against a large red button. As he did a massive metal rod that resembles an antennae rose out of the floor.

"Huh that doesn't look good..." Odin managed to mutter before there was a massive blast of electricity from the rod. Odin was caught in the blast... And then he was gone. The clothes he had been wearing slowly floated to the ground.

"Odin!" Calex shouted and ran over to where the wolf had disappeared. "What did you do to him!?" The kitten demanded as he looked through Odin's clothes and then paused when he saw what remained of the wolf. Squirming around in the clothes was a small wolf puppy.

"Aroo? Odin asked as he looked around confused. The wolf pup was so young he couldn't even talk or walk on two legs.

"You made him adorable!" Calex shouted as he lifted the naked baby Odin out of his oversized clothes.

"It... It worked?" Dr. Pandamonium stared at the sight dumbstruck. He recovered after a moment and slammed his fist against the button a second time. "I mean it's the same fate that awaits you!"

The room was filled with a blast of electricity a second time. This time scaled was struck as the werekitten deflated into himself. He fell down onto all fours as he just as Odin before him was transformed into a tiny infant.

"Meow?" Calex tilted his head quizzically and looked around. Like Odin he was too young to form proper words.

"I... I did it..." Dr. Pandamonium walked over to the two infants and stared down at them. "I defeated them! Yes! It works!" He let out a laugh. "And now that these two have been turned into helpers babies no one can stop me! Once my satellite launches I'll be able to do this to anyone in the world! Imagine all the world leaders reduced to tiny helpless infants in one night! Anyone who opposed me will share their fate! Nothing can stop me! Ahhhhhh ha ha haaaaaa!"

The doctor paused at this as he suddenly realized something was wrong.

"Wait... Where did they go?" As the panda looked at his feet he saw the two infants had disappeared while he had been laughing. "They couldn't have gotten too far... they can't even walk." Dr. Pandamonium looked left or right trying to find the two. He then saw the wolf pup crawling towards the console.

"Oh no you don't!" Dr. Pandamonium ran over and lifted Odin up off the ground. "You didn't think..." The panda paused as he saw the wolf was holding onto the end of a bunch of wires in his hands. "Where did you get those!?" He looked to where the wires were ran and saw they went all the way back to the metal rod. "Give me those..." He snatched the wires from the puppy and marched back to the metal rod.

There Dr. Pandamonium sat Odin down on the ground as he bent down to fix the wiring. As soon as the pup was on the ground he was starting to crawl away again.

"Hey! Stay!" Dr. Pandamonium shouted and grabbed the wolf pup by the tail.

"Aroo?" The puppy tilted his head and stared at the panda. He then proceeded to try crawling away again despite having his tail held.

"Stop that! Dr. Pandamonium shouted. The panda held onto the wolf's tail tightly as he opened up a panel on the side of the machine to fix it. He almost managed finish attaching the wires the wolf had pulled out when he suddenly heard a loud crashing noise. "What now!?"

As Dr. Pandamonium turned his head to the sound of the crashing noise he saw Calex. The baby kitten had managed to climb up onto the top of a lab bench. While crawling across the bench he had knocked a number of electronics off which had fallen to the ground and shattered into several pieces.

"No no no nooooooo!" Dr. Pandamonium jumped up and ran after the kitten. He quickly lifted the infant off the bench before he could knock anything else off. "What are you even doing!?"

"Meooooow!" Calex responded. He squirmed in the panda's grasps before managing to knock one last piece of equipment over with his foot paws.

"Stop that you little monster!" Dr. Pandamonium threw Calex over one shoulder and began walking back to the metal rod he had been repairing. He then noticed the wolf pup was missing again. "What is with you two!? Don't you realize you two should be terrified right now!?"

"Mew!" Calex responded by giving the panda a playful lick on the cheek.

"I hate you." Dr. Pandamonium spoke in a perfectly flat voice. While keeping a firm grip on Calex he began to search the warehouse for Odin. He checked over by the console the wolf had gone for earlier. He wasn't there.

"Mrooooowl!" Calex squirmed more trying to get loose while Dr. Pandamonium was distracted.

"Don't you start up again." The panda growled and turned his attention to trying to figure out where the wolf had gone. He turned a corner and then he saw him.

The wolf was sitting atop a tall stool. He had apparently used a series of cardboard boxes next to it in order to climb up. On the stool he sitting at a computer and just banging against the keyboard with his hands.

"What are you doing!?" Dr. Pandamonium shouted. He ran across the room and scooped Odin up against his shoulder with his free hand.

"Wooooof!" Odin let out a smug bark.

"Mew!" Calex replied. The two infants began to giggle back and forth.

"Stop it! Stop this at once! I insist you stop having fun!" The panda huffed. "You should be panicking because of your diminished states not treating my lab ad your own private playpen! You know what!?" Dr. Pandamonium kicked one of the boxes next to the stool right side up. He then placed both Odin and Calex inside the box before placing a lid over it. "You two can just stay in there for now where you can't cause any trouble!"

With the two babies dealt with he turned his attention to the computer to see what damage had been done. It was pretty bad. Several essential files had just been outright deleted!

"Great just great!" Dr. Pandamonium growled. "How am I supposed to calculate the launch right with this all messed up?" He began working to see if the damage could be undone.

As he did a scratching noise began to come from the box with the two infants inside of it.

"Knock that off!" Dr. Pandamonium tapped the box with his foot. The scratching noise stopped. He then turned his attention back to the computer. The system restore points had been wiped. The only way to fix it was to reinstall the operating system.

"Now I have to find where I put those old CDs. I hope you two troublemakers are satisfied." The panda sighed. He started to walk away only for the scratching noise to start up inside the box again. "Whatever you two are doing stop." The noise faded. Dr. Pandamonium attempted to start walking away again.

The scratching started up

"I said stop!"

The noise faded again... But again as soon as the panda tried to step away it started up again.

"Hey don't make me come over there!" Dr. Pandamonium shouted. Again the noise stopped. This time as he took a few steps away the noise did not resume. "Ok now I'm concerned." The panda approached the box and removed the lid.

The infants were gone. There was a hole in the side of the box that looked as if someone had chewed through the side of the cardboard. Both puppy and kitten were now at large in the lab again.

"Are you kidding me!?" Dr. Pandamonium slammed his hand down against his computer. The keyboard shattered. "And now they've broken my computer!"

The panda strode through the lab snarling. He was now on the warpath. "These two are an even bigger pain in the butt as infants and they has been at their proper ages!" As he rounded the corner he saw Odin. The wolf was at the control panel again trying to climb up and reach the buttons.

"No!" Dr. Pandamonium roared as he tore across the room. He grabbed the wolf pup my his tail and lifted him up off the ground letting him dangle upside down. "No more Mister Nice Panda! I have had it up to here with you two! I don't know what ultimate fate I'm going to arrange for you two but you can bet it won't be pretty!"

"Aroo?" Odin squirmed and tried to right himself while being held upside down.

"Don't you 'aroo' mee!" Dr. Pandamonium shouted. "After I've dealt with you and your little feline friend no one will ever even think if opposing Dr. Pandamonium ever again. I just have to decide if it should be quick or if I should keep you around to test future experiments on!"

"Mrooooooooow!" Calex let out a yowl that rang out across the entire warehouse.

"And you!" Dr. Pandamonium shouted as he turned to face the yowling kitten. He then froze. The kitten was next to the metal rod... Right next to the panel that Dr. Pandamonium had left open to work on. "Don't you dare..."

"Meow!" Calex responded by crawling into the open panel.

"No no no no no no no no!" The panda released his grip on the wolf's tail and ran for the open panel. He dove on to the floor and shoved his arm inside the panel trying to grab the kitten. It was too late. The kitten was too far inside the machine for him to reach. "Get out of there!"

"MROOOOWL!" Calex's voice echoed from somewhere inside the panel.

"I'm serious! You get out here this minute young man!" Dr. Pandamonium tried to peer into the panel but he couldn't see where the kitten was. He could however hear scratching noises, followed by the sound of something being chewed on. "You better not be chewing on the wires in there! This is a very delicate piece of equipment and..."

THUNK!

Dr. Pandemonium spun around to look at the source of the noise. This time he saw Odin was sitting next another panel that had just fallen off of the device. He was now poking and pulling on different wires sticking out of it.

"Nooo not you too! Stop that!" Dr. Pandamonium shouted as he reached out to grab the wires out of the wolf's hands. As he snatched them there was a snapping sound from inside the panel. Suddenly, the machine lit up. Sparks began to come off of the machine as did smoke. "You.. You fools what have you done to my invention! I need it to-" And those were the last words Dr. Pandamonium spoke before being electrocuted by the wires he was holding. The panda disappeared as his own clothes floated to the floor without him.

The machine meanwhile sputtered a few more times, released a bit more smoke, then became lifeless. The two infants had managed to completely disable it.

"Mrowl!" Calex finally emerged from the panel he had been in. Bits of chewed wire were still stuck in his fur as he crawled out.

"Woof!" Odin nodded to the kitten then lifted one hand to point at Dr. Pandamonium's discarded clothes. The two infants slowly crawled up to the clothes to investigate them... As they did a lump began to stir beneath the clothing.

"Abbaaa daaa..." A high pitched voice came from the clothes. Slowly a baby panda crawled out from beneath the pile. He was now just as young as the other two infants. He gave the other two babies a vicious glare. Just like them though he was no longer old enough to walk or even talk.

"Aroo!" Odin tilted his head to the side then looked to the kitten.

"Meow!" Calex smiled mischievously.

"Abaaaaaa!" Dr. Pandamonium screamed in terror at that. The panda struggled to free himself of his oversized clothes and began to crawl away from the other infants now completely naked.

"Meow mrowl!" The kitten made an effort to crawl after and chase the panda. It wasn't an exceptionally fast chase as the two infants crawled through the warehouse. Eventually Dr. Pandamonium made it to one of the open doorways before crawling through it. Here Calex paused while Dr. Pandamonium continued to crawl as fast as he could away from the warehouse.

"Woof?" Odin crawled up behind the kitten and observed the fleeing panda. It seemed the villain was very slowly getting away... But the wolf wasn't too concerned about him being a serious threat to anyone anytime soon. For now... Odin turned his mind to other matters. He was feeling a little naked... What with the fact that he was naked... So he crawled back to where his own discarded clothes were. The wolf tugged on his hat and slowly pulled it over his body. At this point it completely covered him... But at least he had his hat!

"Mrowl?" Calex crawled over to the hat that Odin was currently beneath. He slowly lifted up the edge of it... Only to have the wolf suddenly boop his nose with a paw! Calex fell over onto his side while the wolf giggled to himself.

"Aroo?" Odin asked.

"Mrowl!" Calex nodded.

With his hat retrieved and the villain defeated their work at this warehouse was done. It was time for the two to go home. They both began to crawl for the warehouse exit.

It was probably going to be a bit of a journey home.
