Jillian finds more than she bargained for, and her body starts showing the signs her medication is developing side effects. Now to compound it all, her father appears. The years have only hardened her rage, but can the wolfess so what she vowed to do years ago? Can she actually kill her own kin? And what of the new Night Howler drug? Is it the only one or are their others? How could someone get into the closed Hospital system, when it should not have a link to the outside? And how did they even know Tammy was working on it at all, even if they did find it randomly? Questions that need answers.

Zootopia and all Char from the movie are (C) Disney

Jillian and all other characters are (C) Myself.

Jillian was creeping along in the dark, her black clothing covering most of that snow white fur of hers. She was breathing slowly, her pupils dilated with a fresh hit of her medication. She dosed herself ahead of schedule, wanting the extra instinct and sensory boosts so that she could do her job. As she crept along the alley wall, she saw the first indication of police presence in the location.

They were still looking into the murder of the homeless mammal. SHe needed to be unseen, and as long as it was only one or two officers she was fine. Coming to the corner, she peered down the turn to the back alley, and spotted a pig and a rhino. The big guy had his back to her, and that was all the opening she needed. Jillian's trench coat swirled and she took to all fours and ran.

The pig saw her just a second too late and she was on the rhino. One paw latched onto that horn and used it for a balance pole as both her bare foot paws slammed into the pig's face. He wasn't knocked out, but it sent him flying as she used the momentum to yank the unbalanced rhino to the ground and drive a knee into his forehead. He was dazed and she back flipped away, landing over the pig and planting her thigh on his mouth to keep him silent as she latched a paw on his throat. She held on with enough force to close off his air way until he fell unconscious.

The rhino slowly leaned up and put a hand on his face. Jillian saw him moving and drew her taser. Lining it up she hit him in the neck, dropping him in a heap as he yelled in pain. She set it for a polar bear, so it was a bit strong against a prey animal like him. Once he was down she came over and pulled his baton from his belt. He rolled on his front, trying to get his feet under him and she brought the steel bar down on the back of his head with a fair bit of force. The big guy slumped forward with a groan and lay still. She checked his pulse and made sure he was still alive, then the same for the pig.

Nodding she pulled a wipe from her back pocket and cleaned the baton off, sliding it into the Pig's hand and leaving it there as she made for the hidden entrance to the underground hideout. It was hidden behind one of the dumpsters, designed to look like a drainage grate. Jillian slowly climbed down the hole, pulling the cover back on the entrance and locking it from the inside. She could see signs that the place was used within the last week.

There were food wrappers, empty soda cans, and plenty of lab equipment. No one was around, meaning that they likely left the moment the homeless fur found them. They probably left the lock open on accident. And just vacated once the guy stumbled in. They planned to come back later and hurry a rushed clean up after the police left.

That was when the sound of a hammer slowly cocking back caught her attention. Jillian straightened up and slowly turned. She was face to face with the pig. He had come too, and apparently had the key to get in. But she had not heard the grate open, so there was a second entrance. He was staring at her with fury on his face.

She curled her lip as her paws slid up slowly. He spit blood, a split lip from her kicking his face. He looked her over and then his eyes locked hers. There was a very similar look in both their eyes. Jillian knew she would be able to take him down, but the question in her mind was: how did the son of a bitch get back up so fast?

"Drop the coat whore," he said after a moment. He didn't even blink, meaning he was likely hopped up on something. But what it was escaped her. She slowly lowered her arms to the sides, shrugging them until her coat slid off. The moment it was gone he fired his gun, striking her in the chest.

Jillian fell back with a yelp of agony as pain rippled through her body. The pig lowered his gun and then dropped it. He took a deep breath and waited as she leaned up and stared at him. He actually shot her, the fucking pig actually shot her square in the chest. She hadn't expected that in the least. As she stood, she pulled her sweater up and looked at her vest. It took the low caliber round easily, and the pig snickered. She growled as her claws flexed and she looked at him. He was looking at her still, that baton in his hand.

She snarled and barked at him as she lowered on all fours. The savage instinct was kicking in hard now, and she hated to admit how much she loved that animal side of herself. She wanted to rip into flesh with her fangs and kill this bastard. After a moment, he reached behind his belt and pulled out a small plastic tube. Flipping the end off he pulled a metal and glass vial from it, holding it up and waving it her face.

"You aint the only one with a little taste for the wilder side puppy. Go ahead, try me. I'll dose you so hard you will never come down again. That right... come get it bitch. I know all about you. We had a nice thing set up here before that damned cheetah got big for his britches. He wanted to step up and take over, and boy did he cook up a good scheme. Too bad for your bear buddy. His own brother...hehehe..." The cop chuckled at her, wiping his lip on his sleeve and shifting his hooves on the floor.

Jillian felt the sting of his words far deeper than he intended for it to go. Her growling turned vicious and she raised her tail in a hunting pose. Her lip fully curled back as she snarled and shifted on all fours, completely digging her claws into the floor to get a good grip when she decided to kick off with no warning or tensing of muscle. She just needed a half a second more and she would be ready. The pig realized he fucked up and flipped the vial around. It had a small needle at the tip, and he put his thumb over the trigger. He knew what was coming and braced himself for it. He figured once he shot her with the stuff he would have a few seconds to get back out the way he came and lock her inside. She would starve to death in the room, locked in there with nothing to eat.

What he didn't count on was her already being dosed up on her own medication.l She latched her jaw on his wrist and bit down with all her strength, easily crushing the bone as he claws found his neck and latched on hard. He was pinned to the wall as she jerked and turned her head, before finally releasing his wrist. She held his throat still, looking into his eyes as she growled in his face before snarling and snapping her fangs shut an inch from his eyes. He tried to scream for his partner, but he couldn't make a sound. The rhino was likely still unconscious as Jillian had hit him as hard as she could.

As she held him there, he kicked her repeatedly, punching her in the shoulder and neck with his good arm. But her size and the medication in her system made her immune to his pathetic attempts as she tightened her grip on him. She was slowly choking the life from him as she growled.

"You knew.... You knew and you did nothing. You could have warned us. Told us not to meet in person. You knew he was planning to kill my fiance and you did nothing... I should kill you. I should kill you and string you up for your friends to find but I won't. I have a better idea. You are going to run and tell them a message right now. You are going to tell your buddies herein the Square that I have all of their names, their families, their hideouts, I have everything on them and none of them are going to live. You better run right now though, because if you don't you have to explain to your partner what happened to you down here. And how you knew about this place. How do you think the buffalo will react?"

The officer stopped resisting, getting the message. He either did her favor and ran with her message right now, or he blew his cover as a double agent. He had no choice really, and nodded as she released his neck. He ran out the door, leaving his gun and the vial. Jillian picked it up, tucking it in her vest for later. SHe pulled her coat back on, and smoothed her sweater out.

As she picked up her flashlight from where it fell out of her coat, she began to notice that it was just too quiet in the room. She watched the walls a bit, seeing them began to shift some. Her heart rate was too high, she was burning through her medication too fast and she knew it. At this rate she would go savage or worse pass out miles from home and unable to get to her medication again. As she panted softly, she tried to calm herself. It took her a few moments, but her heart slowed to it's normal beat and her breathing returned to a slow but deep rate.

As her eyes adjusted again, she began to take in the scene. They were making more than just the weaponized night howler here. They were making drugs, infusing chemicals into their products. Jillian recognized the nip infuser equipment, and she spotted what looked like a half pound of nip still wrapped in the plastic. She pocketed it, knowing it was worth something to Mr. Big. As she looked over everything, she spotted a half dozen packaged vials like the one the pig had dropped. She spotted a metal case and began packing them up, as well as anything that looked related to the project.

As she was searching over things, she found a notebook with dates and names written in it. Flipping through it, she noticed there were a couple mentions of Carl with the dates. All the dates lined up with the times she and he were together. She felt the lump in her throat swelling up as she ran a finger down the page, thinking of those times. She put the notebook in her pocket and took a deep breath.

Looking around again, she spotted the propane tank in the corner of the room. She picked up the officer's gun, taking aim. She knew the movies were just movies, and shooting a propane tank with a pistol was just going to punch holes in it. Emptying the gun, she threw it under the tank and pulled the door shut. She could see the gap under the door, and knew she could set it off that way. Heading away from the door with case in one paw she used the other to pull her pack of smokes from her pocket. Taking one, she slipped her lighter out of her sleeve and lit up. Dropping it back in the hidden pocket, she took a long drag as she reached into the back of her coat and pulled a road flare from her belt.

She loved having these just in case. Setting one off in a dark area usually startled every mammal that had their eyes open and blinded them for a few moments. As she walked away she struck the wall a couple times, igniting the flare and then throwing it over her shoulder. It landed a foot from the door. As she rounded the corner she pulled tight against the wall and waited. The blast that met her ears nearly deafened her for a good two minutes. But the entire room was engulfed in flames. Everything inside was going to burn to ash.

She had no fear of it actually burning down a building overhead. The ceiling was a good three foot thick of solid construction concrete. The heat of the fire in that room would never be hot enough to break through that. It would, however, melt that grate and let smoke pour out. That would draw the attention of emergency services and that rhino. If he could even remember anything, it would be a blur at best.

The pig would remember, but he would never be able to show his face again. If he ever did, he would have to answer questions he had no answers too. She walked down the tunnel, heading for the nearest light. She spotted a ladder to the surface near that light, and a splatter of blood. Licking her lip, she smirked, knowing the pig had intentionally run from the room to this ladder to get away. Heading up, she gave the street cover a light push. Looking around before climbing out, she made certain she was alone. Once she was sure, she pushed the lid back over the hole and slid quietly away. She could already hear sirens approaching, and wanted to be clear before they arrived.

Her car was parked ten blocks away, facing the police station. At best they would see her as spying on them. In truth, it was just the safest place to park her car. Making her way on foot, she kept to the shadows. She watched every car that went past as she crept along like some kind of ghost. It was two hours before she made it back to her car, and the thunder rumbled over head. Thunderstorm was rolling in and she needed to be back in the Tundra before it hit the city.

As she started the car, she noticed an officer staring at her car from the window of the third floor. She put it in gear, pulling off slowly. As she headed out, she saw another car fall in line behind her. It was a typical cruiser, which meant they were going to try to pull her over for an infraction. She reached down, turning on her scanner and listened in. Whoever it was, was not talking. All the radio traffic was for other parts of the city. She could hear the fire department and police talking about the hideout fire, and the various other things spread across the city.

She drove normally, waiting for the car behind her to light up those strobes. It was surprising to her when they reached the Tundra Town border wall and it still had tried to pull her over. She couldn't see through their windows, since police could legally have tinted windows.

As they crossed into Tundra Town, Jillian smiled as she reached to the gear shift. Her car was one of the few manual transmissions in the area. It was more meant to allow her to have a better edge in driving over the snow and ice covered streets, shifting to lower gears to get more power as needed. As she shifted into a lower gear now, she saw the cop car inching closer in the mirror. She gunned her engine, taking a turn on two wheels as she let her paw rest on the gear shift. This was no movie, and she was not going to shift up and down like some idiot stunt driver. But she could move through the gears fluidly enough that she never lost acceleration.

She saw her mirrors light up with the strobes, and the roar of the cop car as it tried to keep up with her handling. It was not going to happen, the squad car was geared for Sahara Square, not Tundra Town. The best he could hope to do was just get to her apartment building and try to arrest her there.

As Jillian shifted gear again, she took to the free way. She needed a few minutes to get a call out. Picking up her cell phone she hit the speed dial for the boys. She simply said she was coming in and needed someone to get the fuzz off her tail. There was an audible grunt from Kevin as he sat up and started muttering to the others. She could hear them arguing about it, given it was so late at night. That was whens he said she had something on the incident with Carl to show them. That got them moving, and she could hear them rushing to get to the door. Likely that meant a half dozen polar bears in their underwear were heading to the vans Mr. Big had for them to use for 'business' matters.

As the wolfess took the street exit, she glanced in her mirror. She was keeping ahead of the cop just enough that it could keep sight of her but never get close enough to tap her bumper. As she hung up, she turned up the scanner. She had tried to listen in while she was making that phone call, but had not heard for certain anything. Now she was listening more intently. Each time she made a turn, she noted the street name.

Nothing happened, and the cop car behind her was not making any radio calls. She began to wonder if he was using a cell phone to prevent her from jamming the radio again. She took the turn to head toward the mansion, knowing the boys were likely listening to the radio to try and catch up to her. She spotted one of the vans and shot past him, honking the horn to get his attention. Now it was the fun time. The cop began to slow down, realizing what he had rolled into. Then the wolfess took a hard turn, sliding through the intersection and gunning her engine as she came around.

She looked back and saw two more vans pull in behind the cruiser. She stomped on her breaks, spinning around and stopping to face him. Her high beams aimed right at his windshield, forcing him to lock his breaks and stop. The wolfess reached for her tranquilizer pistols under her coat. Checking them as she made certain the other boys were pulling in around her. As she exited her car, she could already see several of the polar bears out. Most in nothing but a pair of boxers or sweat pants. Jillian reached into her car and flipped on the radio jammer. That prevented the signal from reaching more than a couple blocks.

As she approached the car, she noticed the window roll down. Coming over she pointed her guns at the tiger in the driver seat. What surprised her the most was the fact the tiger was smiling at her. He motioned with his head to the back seat, and then hit the door unlock button. The back door opened slowly, and the wolf that stepped out made her back up. She shifted both of her pistols at him and told the bears to get the tiger out of the car.

The tiger got out and walked away from the car quietly. Jillian was left with her father, facing him as she glared hatred at the man that should have loved and protected her. He was sad as he looked at her, and tried to reach out to her with his paw. Jillian slapped it away, dropping one of her pistols in the process. The voice of james came form the back seat as he drug himself to the open door.

"Jil!! That's enough! He just wanted to see you!" he yelled as he struggled to get his chair out of the back so he could roll in the snow and join them. She turned her pistol on her brother and shot him in the arm. He looked at the dart as it began to take effect. He slid down, slumping in the back seat and muttering about her not needing to do that.

Her father tried to grab the gun and found himself gripped by the throat in her paw. She flexed hard, clenching her claws on his neck. SHe let her arm go and hung in her grip quietly, sputtering for breath as she squeezed a bit before dropping him. Staring down at him she drew back her leg to kick, but couldn't do it. The old wolf was a weak and frail as she had once been. He was unable to fight back. She lowered her foot and just stared down at him in anger.

He looked up at her, rubbing his throat as he tried to talk. Her lip began to curl up and her muscles tensed as she tossed the other pistol away. She bent down, grabbing the front of his coat and lifting him up until his foot paws were six inches off the snow. He was at her mercy and knew it. He looked down at her, and slowly whispered he was sorry. She threw him, screaming at him to shut up.

Kevin came up behind her, snatching her up in an arm lock and holding her as she kicked and screamed and foamed at the mouth. Swearing to murder the old wolf as he picked himself up from the snow and looked at her. SHe was like some rabid animal they had to put down. His daughter had always been a wild spirit, unable to accept the limits of her body. Kevin was struggling to hold her, and she finally managed to get away. The bears and Tiger tried to get to her as she charged, screaming and snarling at her own father. She took a leap from all fours, aimed right at his throat with her teeth.

And then she just landed on him. The pair crumpled as she screamed and cried. Her father had seen her charging, and knew she intended to kill him. He knew it was pointless to resist at this point and just held his arms open. He was hoping to at least cushion her impact to prevent her injuring herself. And she had seen it before hitting him. She tried to stop, but she was already in mid pounce. She had collided with him and they crumpled in a heap.

As she hit his chest, she screamed and cried. Cussing him out and saying he wasn't her father. That he never had been there for her. He just held her and let her hit him and cry. After a bit he just whispered to her he knew it, and that he was sorry for not being what she needed him to be.

The bears pulled her away from him, carrying her to her car and putting her in the back seat. They had never seen a break down like that out of her and it scared them. She was still screaming and sobbing as she kicked the door. They pushed the tiger back toward the squad car, telling him to take the old man away. The old wolf, however objected. He wanted to see his daughter, even if she killed him. They tried to tell him that she had made it clear she was in no mood, but the wolf just told them he knew.

Finally Jillian managed to get the door open and came running at the wolf, she drew back to punch him, but he just stood there looking at her. She slid to a stop and her fist hovered in air. She couldn't do it, no matter how much she hated him she could not bring herself to kill her own flesh and blood. Slowly she lowered her fist, standing there in her ruffled cloths as she sniffled. He slowly held his arms out to her, and she stepped into them. After several years and all that had happened, she was still his daughter and there were points she still needed her father.

He wrapped his arm around her and let her cry, stroking her back as she sobbed into his shoulder. The bears gave the tiger a push toward the squad car, and he got the picture. He pushed James back into his seat and buckled him in, then started the car and pulled away. He drove past Jillian's car slowly. The Big family wouldn't hurt the old wolf, but they certainly were not going to let him leave now.

After a bit JIllian calmed herself, looking at her father before telling him it was stupid of him to come. He nodded in agreement, whispering only that he just wanted to see her and know she was ok after what he heard. James had told him about what happened with Carl. Jillian looked aside before moving away to retrieve her pistols. Pocketing them, she came back and motioned to the bears around them.

"You can ride with them or me. Either way, you stay here where I can keep an eye on you until I finish my business. I have things to handle with Sahara Square family," she muttered. He nodded and sighed, figuring already what she was talking about. He closed his eyes, and moved toward her car slowly. Kevin looked on a moment longer, before heading that way as well. Opening the back door, he let the old man in and then got in the passenger seat. Jillian took a moment to calm her heart rate again.

As she moved toward her car, she called out t the boys to meet her back at the mansion, because she had information and goods for them. They all seemed confused by the turn of events, uncertain of what to do besides follow along. It was a short trip back to the mansion, as Jillian told Kevin some of the things she found. He was most interested in the case she produced from her coat. Her father leaned over the back of the seat, looking at it with curiosity. Technology was new and medicine was still rare in their village. It had to be flown in twice a year and rationed out so everyone had enough.

As they pulled into the driveway, Mr. Big and his escort were waiting on them. Apparently the ruckus earlier had woken them. As Jillian got out, she watched her father get out with kevin's help. He was still in pain from when she beat him. As she took a moment to close her eyes and let her emotions settle again, she waited on the rest of the group to enter the mansion and get dressed.

Inside the lounge, she set down everything she had taken, even sliding the nip across the table to Mr. Big. He nodded and said that was one of the packages that Carl and Justin had taken to the club that night. It was untouched, meaning they had only just managed to get started on the case of it when they were interrupted. Then Jillian set the case down and opened it slowly. She took out a few of the vials, saying she wanted to have Tammy check them out and see if this was part of her stolen research.

Then she produced something that made the group angry. She set out a few packets of heroin, with Mr. Big's stamp on them. Big did not deal in drugs like this. Nip, chew, and simple things were one thing. However, this was something he had never wanted to get involved in. There was nothing to be gained from feeding your clients poison.

"I also grabbed a notebook. They were watching Carl, Justin, Kevin and a few others. They have your names listed, as well as times and locations you were all spotted. They also have multiple officers on their private payroll. I ran into one tonight, and he shot me. Gutsy bastard, I'll give him that." Jillian chuckled, but she was the only one. Her father was holding a paw over his mouth as he stared at her. What had she become to laugh off such a thing?

As she left most of the materials with the Big family, she kept the case of the Night Howler vials. She wanted to see what they were, and if possible use them to her advantage against the Square family. Her father followed her back to the car, getting into the back and looking at her as he tried to figure out what happened to that sweet baby girl he knew all those years ago.

The drive to the hospital took twenty minutes. Arriving, he was confused as to why she was pulling up to the loading docks in the rear. As she got out, he followed her. Hospital security let them in without a second thought, and she went right to the lab Tammy used for her private research. Arriving, they found the Timber wolfess passed on her desk. Jillian rolled her eyes and brought out a couple lock picks. Picking the lock on the door was tricky, but she managed to trick it into thinking it was supposed to be unlocked. As it swung open, Tammy sat up with a start.

Jillian nodded to her and set the box on the desk. As Tammy opened it, she gasped sharply, then looked at the old wolf. Her eyes darted to Jillian, but she got that 'don't ask' look in return and nodded. The brown wolfess moved to the computers and removed one via. Emptying the contents into a petri dish, she took half a dozen samples and set them into test tubes. Then she set them to spinning in the centrifuge. After that she took a few more samples and put them in an analyzer. Then she took a final sample and placed it under a microscope.

She was looking at it and grumbling about how it looked like something she had seen before. Jillian leaned against the counter and waited. Her father taking a seat on a stool quietly. He was never sure if he should speak to her or not. Then Tammy cried out, making them both jump a little.

"Goddess above they stole my formula and made it into a drug!" she screamed a she kicked the counter. She leaned back and put a paw on her face, groaning as she continued, "This is the gen 1 drug we used on you Jillian. But they modified it to last for shorter periods by mixing it with something similar to nip extract. Mainlined like that, it produces an intense high and lasts for two days, maybe longer depending on the dose and the mammal. I can't be sure until the analyzer gets done, which can take two days or longer. But what I can tell you is that These vials are a direct application of my research. Did you find anything else?" She asked softly.

Jillian nodded and produced the notebook. There were more than dates in it, and she chose now to show that part. It had the formulas, dosages, even medical timetables for all the variants Tammy had cooked up for Jillian to test. There were notes about how to convert it to other forms, and then the notations about the second gen being made water soluble buy mixing it with baking soda and cornstarch to create a fast drying power that would quickly disperse when placed in water.

Tammy beat her fist on the desk until she broke a knuckle and yelped. Panting as she cupped her paw, she told Jillian to leave while she sorted out how to make this mess better. Jillian headed back out the way she came with her father in tow. As she arrived outside at her car, the tiger was back. He was parked there, leaned out of his window. Jillian stared at him as she gripped the pistols in her pockets. He just made a motion to the old wolf and then to the back door.

Her father was hesitant but Jillian told him to go. She had work to do, and he was just going to get in her way. He looked at her, hurt by her words but nodded softly and sighed. As he moved to the squad car, he looked back at her and felt the tears in his eyes. He got in, and the tiger drove away with him. Jillian had everything she needed now, and reaching into her vest, she pulled out the vial she was saving. She smirked, knowing now how the stuff was made. She had memorized the formula while talking to Tammy, and would put it to paper later. She would need the boys to cook her up a few vials of it. If they used it as a means to induce a high state where their feral instincts made everything stronger, she could use that to her advantage. And now she had the perfect means to do so.

Little to her knowledge, the Sahara Square family was well aware of what she had done, because Tammy was on the phone with them. She was telling them everything Jillian told her, everything the arctic wolfess had showed her, and everything she had noticed about the wolf with her. The family told her to just play her part, and keep her cover. They promised not to hurt her precious, sickly daughter and would even help find her a treatment. But they warned her about crossing them, and said that the child would be the first to die if Tammy fucked up.

After that, the feline on the phone hung up, and turned to his two brothers. They had to act fast, since no one else in the family knew what they were doing just yet. They needed to bump off the bosses, take over the sections of the family, and then they could launch on the ZPD. But first, they needed to keep the wolfess busy. They would feed her some information on the targets they wanted taken out first. They just needed to get the targets to her view, which would be easy. Arrange a meeting to give them more stuff to move, get them in a window, and the wolfess would see her prey. From there she would do her thing for them.

An added bonus was the old wolf with her. Tammy described him as being an older male version of Jillian, meaning he was likely a relative of hers visiting from out of town and had no idea what the hell he was getting into with the wolfess. If anything came up, they could use him as a shield to keep her at bay. With that set in their minds, they rolled themselves a fad nip ball and packed it in the bong. Taking turns hitting it was one of their favorite things to do. As the smoke curled past each of their lips, they relaxed into their seats and let the high take over.

To Be Continued.
