Story for Kalo, starring his phoenix chef and a new rival of hers. What's going to happen when the cute phoenix has to face down someone else trying to move in on her game?

"I just don't know what's going on, I mean business has been slowing down this month." The phoenix laid a hand over her eyes and puffed out a sigh. She peered out from under her wing arm as a hand brushed her side, "I"m not ruining your dinner, am I?"

Pierre waved a hand, "No you are not. We had asked how everything was going because... well I had mentioned that you did not see your usual self." He dug in with a knife and fork, making Flare wince slightly, as he carved a bit of roasted meat out of her side. "I must admit though, was rather surprised that you managed to make your skin so crisp."

The edges of her beak twitched into a smile as best they could. She would have ruffled proudly, but... well the lack of feathers kinda hindered that. "Thank you, took me forever to get the skin crisp enough, not to mention the diet I had to go on." She didn't want to move too much as it was anyway, things tended to break when she did that and she wanted to preserve how good she looked. Hell, Ryan had even snapped a few pictures of her when she came out of the oven. No telling if they were for his personal collection, the website, or some fetish site. Which she supposed her website was kinda a fetish site...

She would have heaved a sigh if only her lungs weren't already removed. Flare caught Pierre's wife giving her an odd look. "Are you enjoying the meal, Ines?" The sow had rather nervously insisted Flare call her by her first name, since they were about to dine together. Didn't matter that she'd stammered this as Ryan was rolling her out on a cart, the only thing preserving her modesty being a cloth draped across her rump as she lay on belly down on the cart, her golden brown skin glistening in the lights.

The leaner pig nodded, not really looking at her face as she ate, "Oui, is very delicious. My compliments to the chef..." she paused a moment and laughed nervously, "And meal I guess." She glanced down Flare's side to the obvious hole in her flank. "Pardon me for asking, but... ah..."

"How am I still alive?" She would have waved her arm dismissively but Ryan had moved over to carve a bit out of her bicep. It was more the sound of her skin crunching than the feel of the knife sliding around bone that made her want to cringe. "Magic. It's the best answer I've got." Again, she wanted to sigh but there was nothing there. "There's some things beyond the mortal realm and we have our own rules. I like serving because I can be served." And it made her feel really good, if she could rub her thighs together without cracking the skin she would have, but as it sat just say that some meat was juicer than the rest right now. "SO long as I follow certain rules I'll be fine and dandy. So long as my head remains on my neck, I can go for a while before I go all fwoosh."

The harpy eagle laid out her meat in some beautiful slices to serve one of the other guests. It wasn't just Pierre and Ines after all, it would have been a severe waste of her efforts. A dozen others were gathered in a half-circle of tables, Ryan moving among them to serve bits and pieces of the phoenix It just happened that Pierre and Ines were by her head so she could carry out conversations with them. "Don't worry," he assured in his deep baritone, "Our esteemed chef and course is not going to combust."

Ryan's assurance seemed to relax Ines. "Ah, that might explain why the other place is only busy during this time of the month."

If she hadn't been laying on her belly, only to spare people the sight of her empty torso, Flare would have bolted upright. As it was, she still jerked and tried to roll in a crackling cacophony. "What other place?" she asked Ines.

The sow's eyes darted from her, up to Ryan, and over to Pierre, all of whom were trying to silence her with a look. "The other restaurant Pierre mentioned," she pressed on slowly, as if trying to remind Flare of something she should already know. "It is what brought up our discussion of your wonderful establishment." Ines laughed, "I thought he was seeing another woman." She shook her head as she laughed at herself, "I mean, what else would I think when a card for "Zin's place" fell out of his pocket." Her voice dropped a little as she leaned towards Flare, "Sounds like a bit of a whore house if you ask me." She paused, realizing how close she was to the roasted phoenix, nostrils filled with the wondrous aroma coming off her.

Flare's beak was grinding slowly, skin cracking around her cheeks. If her heart hadn't already been fried up and made into a gravy, it would have been pounding away with anger. Someone had moved into her town and was stepping up on HER business?

Pierre knew the look in those toasted eyes and tried to quickly divert Flare, "Ah the place is alright, but nowhere near the experience you have here."

Out of everyone there, Ryan knew her best and knew that the phoenix wouldn't drop the subject until she'd heard every last detail. Which meant that there was really only one thing to do to keep her from ruining the experience for their customers.

Quick as a snake, he gripped her beak and pulled at her head, a cleaver flashing in his hand before it came down with a heavy THUNK as he buried it into the butcher block top of the cart. Flare would have cursed at him if she'd still had vocal cords, but she could only manage an evil glare as he let her head roll to the side ever so slightly. "Who wants some cheek?" his voice grew distant as darkness closed about her, "or perhaps the neck?"

Flare drifted away from her body, the physical world fading away into a dull, misty reality. She wasn't a ghost, more of a spark. An ember let loose on the winds and allowed to drift. Drift she would if she didn't know the place to her very core. The spark that was Flare could feel the familiar warmth calling to her. A place she'd been reborn so many times it might was almost a part of her. Unseen by natural eyes, that ember wafted into one of the large pizza ovens stashed in the back. It was always kept running, warmth wrapping around her like a comforting blanket.

The spark that was Flare pulled at that warmth, drawing it tighter around her. First heat, then flame began to wrap around this core like the countless silken strands of a cocoon. It rested as the fires wove themselves around the core and built outwards. Strand by strand, layer after layer until it was roughly the right size. The weave tightened and changed itself, bones growing and muscles wrapping around them. Skin laying over it all before feathers began to grow and spring free of the ever tightening weave.

An unknown amount of time passed before Flare gasped, her back arching off the blazing floor of the oven. The oven was hot enough to bake a pizza in a matter of minutes, but it was only warm against her spine. The heat never bothered her anyway.

Flare grabbed the handle and jerked hard. Countless times waking up in the oven had turned the search for that into muscle memory. Heavy door dropped open to let in a rush of cooler air, making Flare gasp and shiver as she rolled across the door and dropped from the oven with less grace than intended. While she did get her feet under her, her legs crumbled the instant weight was on them, sending her sprawling out onto the icy tile floor. "I live again," she gasped out before pushing herself upright. Dinner had taken more out of her than she'd thought. "Where is Pierre, I have questions for him."

"Gone." Ryan had pulled up a chair and was sitting with his chin on the backrest, watching her. "They finished dinner, had a few more glasses of wine, and everyone had some of your baumchuken." He extended a wing-arm towards her, "They send their compliments for that execution."

She knew better than to get too close to Ryan, she was still quiet literally smoking hot. Instead, she leaned against the counter near him and shot him a glowing glare, "Speaking of execution."

He rolled his glass of wine and took a sip, "I did not want you ruining the guest's experience with one of your tantrums when you found out about Zin's Place." The harpy eagle breathed out a heavy sigh, "Suppose it's partially my fault for not telling you about it as soon as I learned."

The naked, glowing phoenix narrowed her eyes and rapped her fingers on the counter as she waited for him to continue. Ryan knew better than to make her wait too much longer or else she might lose her temper. While he was reasonably sure that she wouldn't hurt him, the kitchen was full of heavy pans, sharp knives, and worst of all a chef. A chef that worked on praise and knowledge that she satisfied her customers. The mere thought that someone was encroaching on her turf had already set the phoenix on edge. Finishing his wine in a gulp, he spun his tablet towards her. "Zin's Place."

Flare leaned towards it, resisting the urge to reach out and flick through the pages. "This says Zin's House of Q." Eyes narrowed as her tail feathers fanned behind her, "Can't say I ever pictured Pierre as a pulled pork fan."

Ryan rolled his shoulders, "That is her old place, I believe that she just hasn't gotten pictures of her new local yet since I hear it's undergoing renovations even as she offers dinner service." He scrolled the page slowly, giving Flare ample time to read and examine the pictures. "As it turns out she had an award winning bar-b-que shack," he almost spat out the word shack. He scrolled past a picture of a tall, stacked looking wolfess with a wide grin standing in front of a display case. Thing looked like it had been ripped out of a high school and was brimming with awards and ribbons. "There isn't any mention of it on her website, but a little sleuthing online turned up these."

He brought up a couple other tabs, "As it turns out she had originally opened up..." beak clicked as he mulled, "shop in a far more conservative area." Flare was intent on the screen, practically laying on the counter as she scanned the articles.

"Still can't call it a shack?" she teased, but her attention was fully on the stories and awards that were listed. As expected a lot of county and regional cook off awards. Seems that Zin was quite the pitmaster.

Beak clicked as he grumbled, "I just detest places called shacks. A house or something similar is fine, but I cannot think of many good things that come out of a shack. At least nothing that doesn't need a mile of napkins and a bypass or two." He shook his head, "No, if I'm going to eat things that are unhealthy for me, I'd rather not have it dripping with fat and slathered in some sort of sticky sauce." Feathers ruffled as he shook his head with a huff.

"You'd rather have rich sauces and a glass of Merlot." She flashed a quick smile towards him, having cooled down enough so that Ryan could move closer to her. "So what happened?"

Rather than answer her, he flicked to the next tab. The headline called Zin's sources of meat into question, specifically for the 'Blue Moon Specials' that she ran about once a month. "Ha, I get it," Flare mused as she looked over the news. "Wait, she runs these deals once a month..." Reaching out, she batted Ryan's hand aside and flicked back to the wolf's page. "Is she a werewolf?" She glanced towards Ryan.

He answered with a shoulder roll, his version of a shrug, "I don't know. I've done some research, but there isn't much out there. I know your customers know what you are, but it's not mentioned on the website anywhere."

Reasonable, despite how advanced the world was it wasn't generally a good idea to go flaunting certain things where anyone could find it. Bad enough being a phoenix at times, but a werewolf? Those were generally seen on the darker side of things. Could just imagine someone thinking that they'd been cursed and going to hunt down Zin.

Which made her curious about what exactly happened. Jumping back to the news article, it began to question about where Zin was getting some of her meat. It was never listed as wild game and when asked about the source she always kept played it close to the chest. Whoever penned the article mentioned they went around to local butchers to ask them, but none had gotten exceptionally large orders from her at any point the could recall. Nothing out of the ordinary that would explain the sudden surplus of meats.

If she was a werewolf then she was probably doing what Flare did. Wolf meat had to be a fair bit tougher than phoenix, especially with the diet and routine Flare went through to keep herself tasty, so a long slow cooking method would help. Roasting over a pit for example. Hmm, how would that turn out? A bit of smoked phoenix that had been cooked low and slow overnight.

Her slender beak clapped softly as she imagined being tied to something, a spit perhaps, and turned slowly over smoldering coals. Smoke wafting up and around her as that flavor added to her own. Flare's legs squirmed, thighs rubbing together as she began to think. Would have to be careful though, she knew that she had a slightly smoked, fiery flavor already. Had to dance that fine line between flavor and overdoing it. It would take some time and a lot of trial and error to get it going, but that had never stopped her before.

There were already visions of it dancing in her head. Being pulled out of a smoker, her skin golden brown and crisp, wisps of steam and smoke following her as she was wheeled into the dining room Watching the guests' expressions as she was carved up and served to them. Closing her eyes slowly,s he could almost hear their praises being lavished upon her gradually cooling body.

Or rapidly heating body, as things were going.

Flare gasped and lifted her hips as Ryan's hand dipped under her tail feathers, teasing the excited mythical's mound. "Thinking about some new dish?" he almost purred at her. The larger harpy eagle moved behind her, his beak tracing her neck and shoulders with little nipping bites. His feathered fingers sliding along her outer lips and teasing them, spreading her moist-maker just enough to let his middle finger toy with her petals. She nodded with a low moan, tail feathers fanning almost straight up as he played with her.

His beak roamed up her neck to croon against her cheek. "Should have seen their eyes tonight when I wheeled you out. Wide, full of hunger," his fingers eased into her body and began to rock, "the way they begged for more and more, saying that it was the greatest meal they've had all year." Eyes rolled back as he toyed with her clit, thighs shaking. "SO what are you thinking now, hmm?"

Fingers fumbled with the tablet, searching for information about smoking meats. "Smoked Phoenix," she crooned, hips bucking back towards his body as she tried to focus on the page as it loaded.

A tug shifted her back and off the counter, Flare gasping as Ryan lifted her easily in his arms, still cradling the tablet to her chest. He smirked at her and let a thumb rub against her outer folds as he marched out of the kitchen. "Pulled phoenix could be interesting as well. Would have to go with a good rub to hopefully avoid some disgusting sauce." As he mentioned rub, his thumb would slide up her pussy lips and circle her clit. She sucked in a breath and squirmed within his hold as he moved upstairs to their apartment. "So what type of wood are you thinking?"

They worked together, and while they shared an apartment they weren't truly a couple. While they had a shared living space and often shared a bed, they did have their separate bedrooms. As usual, Ryan padded into his own bedroom with her, laying the naked phoenix on his neatly made bed before starting to strip off his clothes. Flare clicked on the bedside lamp and leaned back, dividing her attention between the tablet and the stripping eagle.

Fingers dipped down to stroke her slit slowly, crooning to herself. "I don't know actually. This site says Hickory, Maple, Apple, or Cherry is good for poultry." She breathed out a sigh and arched against her touch, eyes dropping to Ryan's backside as he took off his pants

"Describe their flavors?" he asked over his shoulder as he put his dirty things away. The entire room was neat, spotless, everything organized and tucked away. Flare even felt a little guilty as she wiggled the covers of the neatly made bed out of of the way.

The phoenix breathed out a soft moan as her hand returned to its place between her thighs, glancing at the screen. "Mmm, hickory is hearty, sweet, savory, and a bit bacony as long as you don't over smoke it." She looked up as Ryan turned towards her, the eagle erect and crooning as he moved over her on the bed. Arching towards him, she let her thighs slide against his hips as he arms wrapped around his neck. They shared a moan as his cock rubbed against her folds. "Maple is lighter, sweet, with a mild smokiness."

Ryan rolled his hips against hers before pressing in with a smooth plunge, groaning at just how tight and warm she was as her walls spread around his length. "Maple sounds like the favorite so far, you already have that bit of natural smokey flavor going on."

She nodded as his thrusts rocked her, driving a moan out. "Applewood is... mmm is mild and sweet, but mellow. Could take hours to get the flavor in there."

"Not entirely sure about leaving you smoking too long, but it could work as well." He felt her shift under him and responded, altering his position to make the phoenix hen gasp and wrap her arms around him, pulling him down until their beaks clicked against each other.

"Mhmmm, but mellow might not be enough." She rolled her head and looked over at the tablet, hips rolling towards her business partner's body. "That leaves... Ch-cherry."

He lifted the tablet, pressing his body closer to hers, barely even moving as he ground against her. "Mild and fruity, when mixed with other hardwoods like hickory the flavors compliment each other." Leaning in, he ran his beak over her neck slowly and planted little nibbles. "As much as Cherry smoked Flare sounds good, I wonder how the sweetness would compliment your flavors." Hands swept down to her rear, lifting her towards him as he began to pepper with shorter, faster thrusts.

Ryan breathed out a throaty moan and planted a gentle bite to her shoulder. "I am thinking maple to start with." His pace increased as her moans filled the air, the slick sound of her tunnel pairing exquisitely with the vocalizations. "Subtle, sweet, maybe pair with some maple syrup sauce."

"Or a glaze!" she practically cried out as he hit a particularly good angle. Ryan pressed her down tighter to the mattress as he peppered her with thrusts. Arching towards him, she pressed her cheek to his neck, fingers digging into his back as she held on. She could feel it, that familiar fluttering and knotting of her belly as he expertly stoked her fires, building them ever higher.

Feathers ruffled as he nodded, huffing over her. "Tied up, roasted, skin crisping and glistening as I brush you with maple. Letting it crisp and make you glow..." He hissed as she pulled him tighter against her, pressing his body as close to hers as he could get. They were barely moving now as they writhed on the bed, teetering right on the edge.

Flare's body was humming as she pressed against him with a whimper. "Rest under a foil tent, smoker gun going to give a hint of flavor inside and out..." Legs wrapped tight to him and pulled him flush to her, "FILLING ME!"

Ryan breathed out a hiss and drove flush against her as she trembled under him, her walls gripping and puling tight against his length. He was quick to follow her lead, body pressing as close to hers as he could as he gave her the filling she screamed for. Beaks pressed to necks as the pair came down, limbs tangled around each other.

Easing off her, he dropped to the bed beside the chef, working his feet under the blanket. Flare purred over at him, but took up the tablet to start reading, her side pressed against his ever so lightly. Ryan stretched and slipped an arm under her head, Flare wiggling closer as he clicked off the light. "Going to check out her place tomorrow?"

"Of course I am, gotta see what she's up to, see if I can't sneak up any trade secrets she might have laying around. She'd do the same to me." Flare stretched against his side in the darkness and closed her eyes most of the way, "It's only professional curiosity."

Ryan was up by the time Flare managed to rouse herself from his bed. He'd be out running a few errands for the cafe. Since they weren't as huge as some places they didn't need to special order a lot of their stuff, the local markets had everything they needed. While he would make sure to keep them with a bare minimum of things, she'd hit the farmers market for anything special she might want.

Later though. She had a bar-b-que joint to investigate.

Wasn't too hard to find the address for the place, it was listed right on the website. Made it easier to find than her own place, but then again she hadn't been run out of a place because people thought she might have been murdering people and serving up their meat. Although, considering where Zin hailed from that probably was easier to explain than saying that she cut off parts of herself to serve to people. Strange how people felt about that compared to possible murder.

No, Flare liked her system better. The website hinted at what was on the menu and directed interested parties to a business line that Ryan would answer. While they did offer a fine dining experience, made all that much more desirable by the fact that they were "underground" and had limited spots, if one wasn't entirely up for the idea of eating parts of another living being, then she did have a nice menu for them. There was an odd thrill she felt watching someone dine on something from the butcher, looking with envy at the meal of another patron that had ordered off the 'special' menu. She still wasn't entirely sure how Ryan revealed what they were eating, but it seemed that more often than not people did return to at least try a meal. Out of morbid curiosity some would say.

Although last night... mmm, last night had been a special event for only her favorite customers. Her best, her closest, it took too much prep for her to just offer that up any time.

But back to the matter at hand. Or more accurately, the diner before her. Again, she couldn't help but compare it to her own place. Which was more than a little difficult to find on purpose. Stairwell tucked in an alleyway leading up to the second floor cafe and kitchen, with her and Ryan's shared apartment above that. This... well it looked like just any other house you'd find on the outskirts of town. A little older styled house, couple floors tall, vinyl siding, and she'd be damned if it didn't even have a white picket fence.

She paused at the fence and looked from the simple sign on the gate reading Zin's Place with the subtitle of House of Que under it. Flare stood there a moment, just staring at the sign before looking towards the house slowly. Well, it wasn't lying. It was a house, it did apparently belong to Zin, and she could see smoke lazily rolling up from the backyard.

Right now, it was impossible to tell if Ryan would love this place or hate it. Craning her head, she sniffed towards the smoke before trying the fence. It wasn't locked and there weren't hours listed on the sign so she let herself in.

The yard looked pretty much like you'd expect. Some flowers were starting to grow, the grass was neatly trimmed, it was very much American Suburbia if you asked her. Would not have been her first pick for her own place, if she ever got a house that is. Looking over the other houses in the area, while it didn't exactly stand out it didn't fully fit in either.

A porch wrapped around part of the house, smelling of fresh wood and paint still. That was the thing that stood out most compared to the others, while some had a sitting area none of them had a covered porch this large. She found herself looking over the tables and chairs dotting the porch. Only a few seats at any given table, all of them having that rustic feel to their solid wooden construction. Tapping her fingers over the top of one wooden table, she did a slow circle and peered into the window. There were more tables inside, but naturally they were set up a bit fancier.

Flare padded to the front door and peered at it. Instead of a placard there was a simple paper sign hung up that read, "Good BBQ takes time, please respect that. Will open when ready, have a seat if you want and enjoy! Or come around back to chat with the pitmaster, she gets lonely."

Beak clicked with amusement. She could get behind that type of attitude, but Ryan absolutely refused to let her slack off. There were times she hated him for that but she knew where he came from.

So it seemed all she had to do was go around the back and she'd meet this mysterious Zin. Might as well get on with that since the porch was utterly devoid of smoking secrets. No telling how much she'd be able to learn from going back there. Had always heard that pitmasters guard their secrets and some were downright to the Fort Knox level.

The fence was tall, cordoning off the backyard from the front with its freshly stained wood. Flare tried to peek between the slats, but was greeted with more wood. Someone liked their privacy, or at the very least didn't want to bother their neighbors if she was up and about all hours of the night. She peered up at the fence and looked along it for any areas she might get a peek through. Nothing, just the solid wall blocking her from the backyard. Well, seems she'd have to reach for her final resort.

She knocks on the fence, "Hello?"

"Just a sec," came the answering call. Flare listened close, but only heard a whisper of movement before a gate popped open and a rather tall wolfess peered out, "Hey, can I help ya?"

Flare looked her over quickly. Pelt bordering somewhere between stormy gray and midnight black. A pair of simple jeans cut into Daisy Dukes and a flannel shirt with its sleeves rolled up covered a surprisingly muscled frame. Made her feel a tad overdressed with her slacks and blouse held under a light jacket. Bright, predatory gold eyes were examining her expectantly as they stood there.

Putting on her best smile, she stepped in and held out her hand, "Hey, just heard about this place and decided I might wanna come check it out. Flare Feather, nice to meet you."

Ears perked and a broad smile spread across the muzzle. "I thought I recognized you." A large, calloused hand closed around hers in a crushing grip. "Zinnia Thundercloud, most call me Zin, nice to meet ya." Stepping back, she held the gate open with one hand, "Come on in, want some iced tea? A beer?"

"Beer sounds good if you've got one, and recognized me?" She took a glance around the yard as she was led in. It was a rather nice garden, well tended with flowers tucked away in beds. Which clashed a bit with the heavy metal boxes tucked under a new awning, which had a steady stream of smoke rolling from them. Zin padded over to a refrigerator sitting next to the smoking boxes and fished out a pair of bottles.

Zin offered one to Flare and waved towards a pair of lounge chairs, "Have a seat." The wolfess barely had the words out before she herself dropped to one with a grunt. Zin stretched out and knocked her bottle against the edge of a scarred table to pop the cap off. "And yeah, how could I not recognize you?" Flare sank down into the chair beside the wolf and angled her head. She flashed another toothy grin and grabbed a rugged looking tablet off the table, poking at something before turning it around. "I follow you on Kinkstagram."

Sure enough when she flipped the rubberized tablet around, Flare's Kinkstagram was on full display. Zin's grin spread even wider as she scrolled through the feed. Picture after picture of Flare in various poses and degrees of edibility. There was a picture of her from last night, skin glistening and head rolled ever so slightly as she talked to someone off center. Another of her fresh from the oven in a glamour pose. There was one of her with an arm buried in a grinder. Others of her looking at food in the oven, bits plated up, and even one of her lounging in one of Ryan's favorite ramen bowls.

Flare's cheeks flushed a bit as she sipped her beer. "Oh, didn't realize you followed me there. I... Uh," she rubbed the back of her head, "Must admit I'd only just heard about you last night. Didn't even think to check online to see if there were any pictures you'd put up."

The wolf waved her hand dismissively, "I haven't gotten much up online as of yet. Don't have anyone to help me with them as it sits." She looked down at her beer, "Not anymore actually." It might have been her imagination but she'd swear that she saw Zin's lip tremble ever so slightly before it was hidden behind the bottle. "Not much of one for posing anyway." A smile was flashed towards her guest, "Ain't the easiest to regenerate from being cooked up. Easier to go with bits and pieces than the whole thing."

"So that's why you run your 'blue moon' specials?" Flare asked, complete with air quotes before taking another swig of her brew.

Zin nodded, "Yep, gives me chance to get enough for those specials." She flashed another of those grins, "Wouldn't mind trying a bit of phoenix though. Tried a bit of some other mythics, but never had one of your type before."

Flare toasted with the bottle, "Hadn't had any werewolf before either. Speaking of, I'd always heard rumors and legends about consuming things from a Were caused you to become one. I must admit I don't know a lot about these things."

"Nah," she laughed, "That's a bit of an old wives thing. The legends get a little weird too, cause if you bathe in water a werewolf has touched, you become one. But, if you bathe in water a werewolf has touched, you are cured. So..." she rolled her shoulders in a shrug and sipped her beer. "Might have been true for certain branches, but not mine." Zin stretched on her seat and groaned, her top pulling so tight that Flare was afraid that a few buttons might explode off it. "So, I take it you wanted to come and see my setup, get some secrets if you can. Wanna take a peek?"

Of course Zin would've known why Flare came around, she was a chef as well. "Sure, I don't see why not," just act casual. Don't let her know that you've been plotting all night about how to cook yourself up. Downing the rest of the beer, she dropped it to the table and stood up.

"Feel free to poke around inside, can grab another beef when you're done. Just don't taste anything, it ain't done yet."

With the pitmaster's blessing, she padded over to the boxes and cracked one open to look inside. Smoke billowed out to waft over her face, nowhere near as hot as she'd have thought. The wolf liked it seriously low and slow, but that might be because she used seriously tough cuts of meat. Give the smoke time to penetrate and break everything down into deliciousness. She recognized a few of the cuts readily enough. Ham, brisket, some butt naturally, nothing too far out there.

Closing up the box, she went to check on the next. Not nearly as much meat here, several empty racks, but there were lumps of some unidentified meats surrounding an empty spit. "What goes on here usually?" she asked over her shoulder.

The voice came from right behind her, "Usually turkey or even a whole pig. Was thinking maybe phoenix this time though." Quicker than she could react, the werewolf grabbed and lifted her, one thick arm wrapping around her chest as the other grabbed her beak. Zin had been taller than her, but Flare was lifted impossibly high as she was pulled against a rock-solid chest. Naturally, she fought against the hold but the arms were corded with thick muscle. The wolf squeezed just hard enough to make her chest creak. A guttural noise bordering between a laugh and a growl rolled against her ear as hot breath puffed over her cheek. "I hate to do this, Sugah, seems a bit rude since we just met. It is that time of the month though so I've got these urges..."

Zin released Flare's beak and struck before the phoenix could do more than take a breath to start cursing. Claws lashed over her neck, shredding the flesh as if it were tissue. She'd had worse happen to her, but the suddenness of the violence caught her off guard. Flare gagged and gasped as Zin dropped her to the ground, trying to grab at her neck. She wasn't worried about bleeding out as much as just wanting to fire off some selective curses at that bitch. There wasn't too much she could do though as she laid on the concrete pad, blood spilling past her fingers.

The werewolf stepped around her, "Again, sorry about this, but you just look so tasty I had to get a nibble in. You know how it is." Flare was flipped onto her back, finally getting a good look at Zin.

She'd grown in size, going from just a big gal to absolutely monstrous in scale. Clothes hung in tatters from her frame, a frame now bulging with corded muscle and bristling fur. Zin knelt by Flare's feet and expertly bound them together, lifting the phoenix and carrying her to a little spot the phoenix hadn't noticed. Walled off neatly on three sides, smooth concrete pad with a drain in the center. She was hung up by her feet, Zin letting gravity do most of the work to let her blood drain out. Flare sputtered a bit, still trying to at least get out some sort of swear.

"Sorry about your clothes, gonna have to get you some new ones, Suga. I'll keep the labels for your size." Flare tried glaring, but the the world was staring to sway and roll as she got more and more light-headed. A feeling of almost drunken euphoria starting to settle over her.

Zin didn't reach for any of the knives that hung in her butchering shed. She didn't need them. Her claws tore into Flare's clothing, sectioning it off to be tossed aside in a growing pile. The wolfess hummed a little tune to herself as she ran her hands up and down the phoenix's legs. "Oh these are some delicious looking thighs." She squeezed slightly and almost purred before sweeping her hands down over the curve of Flare's hips. "Really don't know if I should break you down first, or cook it all in one shot." A heavy sigh shot against her belly as the butcher knelt before her and let her hands rub further down, across Flare's belly and up to feel her keel bone. "Good muscle, lean, might wanna marinate first."

Flare gurgled at her as she reached for one of the phoenix's arms. "What's that?" the wolf angled her head, looking down with snaggled teeth sticking out of her larger maw. "Oh... yeah, now that I think about it maybe I should've asked first, got your input on how to cook yourself."

While she knew she wouldn't be able to beat the wolf away or even get away in her state, Flare could still communicate. She flipped the wolfess off and let her arms go limp.

"Name a time and place, Sweetie." Standing back up, Zin gripped her thighs and spread them, tongue slapping over Flare's exposed pussy lips. "Wouldn't mind eating you in another way...heh." A deep snarl rolled from the wolf's midsection, reminding both of them of what was coming up, "For now..." she traced fingers around the phoenix's ankles before dropping them to those feathered thighs. If she could have gotten air, Flare would've really started to curse as the wolf started plucking her. There's a reason why she used fire to get rid of her feathers, the ash was a good spice and it didn't hurt!

By the time that Zin had her mostly cleaned up, she'd wished that the werewolf had just ripped her head off. Flare's body was buzzing with fading pain as she dangled there, woozy from the combined head rush and distinct lack of blood. Her heart was still trying to go, thudding away in her chest as it pumped nothing but air. Not the first time she'd been bled out, it wasn't unpleasant at all, just felt weird. Like being drunk on one too many shots of tequila during the winter.

"Surprised you're still with us. Are you with us?" Zin poked her with a thigh, swinging her on the hook. Flare couldn't find the strength to lift her arm up to swat at the werewolf, but she did have enough in her to flip her off again. "Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit, you are. Although it's rude to flip folks off, you know." Zin let her fingers trace around Flare's shoulder.

Claws sharper than a chef's knife parted flesh, cutting through muscle and tendon. If her arm could have been any more limp, it would be as Zin grabbed and twisted it, popping it from the joint with a pop. "There one," she declared as she draped the arm over her shoulder. Claws traced over the other arm, freeing it with a twist and pop. Zin rocked back onto her heels and breathed out a thoughtful growl, "What do you think? Buffalo one, fry the other?" She angled her head one way then the other as she looked over the arms, licking over her lips slowly.

Flare would have huffed if she could have. There was something about flouring an frying up her arms that was sounding just so good. Maybe a good tempura batter, something light and airy to give that delicious crunch without being too heavy.

She wasn't paying attention to what Zin was doing, just staring at the floor below her as the wolf moved around. Claws slid through her hip muscle, pausing for a moment as the werewolf leaned in to sniff. "Well, would say that you're matter than a wet hen, but didn't think you'd be wet like this." Tongue lapped against Flare's privates again, finding the folds damp. Her voice deepened with a needy growl, "If only I wasn't so ravenous..."

The phoenix sagged to the side as her leg was cut off, and she would have dropped to the ground when the second was cut, if the wolf hadn't swept an arm under her shoulders. Lowering her down to the ground, Zin knelt over her and grinned widely. "Hate to say it, but I'm just gonna have to chow down. So hungry my belly thinks my throat's been cut." Massive hand flashed out again and finished separating her head from her body. Flare's head rolled from the cut, watching as the wolf hunched over her body, tearing into her torso. She didn't even bother digging anything out, just burying her head into Flare's belly as she chomped down on the treats there. Tail waving behind her as the world grew dark.

Ryan's back was to her as the oven's door clanged open. "Fucking bitch ate me!" Flare rolled out and landed with a thud, steam rolling from her beak as she ground it angrily. "I go over there to do some nice, peaceful spying and she hang me up and butchered me like some common game fowl!"

The eagle glanced up from where he'd been putting away groceries, "So, I was going to ask how it went. I had assumed it was possibly good since you popped up in there, but I'm feeling something else." He nudged a stool out and kept moving around as he put up some of their supplies. Flare stomped over to the stool and dropped onto it, letting the metal soak up the excess heat as she literally fumed and recounted everything to her sommelier.

When she finished her story, he stood up and padded over to get a large box, bringing it back over. "That might explain this then." He dropped the box before her and leaned against the other side of the counter. The box itself was rather plain, brown butcher paper and twine.

Under the wrapper, it was just a standard plastic container that you could pick up at any store. "Was half expecting a butter tub," Flare huffed as she flipped the top off. Inside there was a neatly folded letter which she immediately tossed away. Ryan rolled his eyes and retrieved the letter as she poked around inside of the box. There were two fairly large, well wrapped bundles sitting under some of those ice packs you'd find in a school lunch pack. She shot him a look, "I don't care what she said, it's war now."

Ryan flipped open the letter and began to read, doing his best to decipher the wolf's drawling script, "Sorry about that, Darlin. Just been drooling over those pictures on your account for months now. Could not wait to get my jaws wrapped around a bit of your meat and feel just how good it was. Gotta say, you're damn near the tastiest thing I've ever put inside me."

"Okay, so she's a little forgiven." Flare huffed, "Not fully forgiven, but flattery helps." She fished one of the bundles and bounced it in her hands. Was a good few pounds easy enough.

He rolled his eyes and kept reading. "Easier to ask forgiveness than permission, already got bits of you cooking up to try." The eagle held up an honest to 80s polaroid. Zin was back to her normal form, still with her clothes ripped to shreds, smiling for the camera and giving a thumbs up as she posed next to a couple pieces of Flare that were sitting in one of her smoker boxes. "Still though, decided to offer up an olive branch with some of my own stock." His brows bounced as he looked at Flare.

The phoenix had unwrapped the package to reveal a rather large thigh with the bone sticking out of one end. She was already staring intently at the slab of meat and he could see the wheels turning.

"So what do you say to a bit of a friendly competition? You cook up a bit of me, I cook up a bit of you and we see who gets served." He flipped the paper over. "And it's just got her Kinkstagram username scrawled at the bottom. Think she's wanting you to reply."

Flare wrapped the thigh back up and was checking the other cut, what looked like a good half of the wolf's chest. "I see... ribs and loin in here." She said as she poked at it, thinking about perhaps a tomahawk or crown rack, as well as other types of dishes. Laying out the packages on the counter, she laid her head on her arms and just stared at them. Ryan watched her from the corner of his eye as he read over the note again. Didn't take a genius to figure out what was going on in her head. Throw an adventurous chef some odd cuts of meat, throw down the gauntlet, and they'd all have the same reaction.

"Hey, Ryan?" she mused after several minutes of staring into space. He responded with an inquiry noise, having left her to her thoughts and busied himself with an inventory. "Do you think we could close the cafe down for a day or two while I experiment with things?"

That made him pause and think for a moment, beak clicking rapidly as he stared into the space beyond the wine bottles. "We could..." he started slowly, "close down tonight, but tomorrow we have a fair number of reservations waiting, including a person wanting a sampler." Head twisted to look back at her, "That won't be until dinner though, and I believe most of the prep work has been done for it, hasn't it?" She nodded equally as slow but her mind was elsewhere. "Then I'll get to sending out messages if that's what you want." Closing the wine cooler, he'd only stood up before she stopped him.

"Okay, and while you're at it do me a favor? Send Zin a message and say, 'See you in three days, bitch.' for me? Pretty please?" Flare leapt from the counter and was already pulling out her cutting boards and other utensils before he'd even responded.

Ryan smirked as she shifted from contemplative to manic in a matter of seconds, "I'll get right on that. Those exact words?"

Knife dug into meat like butter, "Yes, those exact words." Flare cursed, "How much does she work out? Bitch has some tough muscle structure... Marinade!" Hacking her way through, Flare looked around, "Also something for notes?"

He slid a pad an pencil towards her, "Should I get a mirepoix ready as well?"

"No, I'm thinking hit her in her home. Gonna go for the Trinity instead. Sorry I didn't hit the market on my way back, was a little eaten."

Ryan was already typing out notes on his tablet with one hand while writing a shopping list with the other, "No worries, I'll see what they have. Should I send pictures if I find something you might want?"

"Yeah, sure."

Ryan was inspecting the glassware when he heard the steady ticking of nails on tile, "You know, you're going to wear a rut into the floor if you keep doing that."

"I can't help it, I'm nervous. Why am I nervous? I never get this nervous about cooking up anything when I'm up on the platter." She swept around to stare up at the eagle, "Do something!" the phoenix huffed at him and shuffled.

He peered at her through the glass, "Well, we could go full 1950s and I could slap you. Don't think that will help though." Setting the glass down, he took her shoulders in his hands and looked right into her eyes. "You're nervous because it's not you that you're serving up. This is something else entirely. Zin gave you about the same weight in her meat, but you've never handled it before. If you ask me, and you are asking me, you have pulled a miracle out of your ass." He squeezed her shoulders, "You are going to show her who is smoking hot."

She clicked her beak at him, "I feel like I should slap you for that, but thanks." Flare took a deep breath and looked over at the ovens as they ticked away. "Easy to know how I'll turn out, but..." she waved a hand towards the dishes, "did everything I could."

"Hello!" a voice called from the front, "Anyone here? Don't tell me I got the wrong place...again." Judging from the way Flare tensed, it was easy to tell who it was.

Ryan gave her head a gentle peck and stepped out into the dining room, "In here." Flare followed just far enough behind that she was able to watch Ryan's reaction when he saw Zin. It was rather subdued, if she hadn't known him as long as she had, it'd have been easy to miss how his back stiffened ever so slightly and feathers barely lifted in surprise.

To be fair, Flare found herself surprised as well as she rounded the corner.

The flannel from the other day was gone. In its place was a flowery blouse that hung low enough on her that it could have been a dress on someone else. She had on a different pair of jeans, looked to be pretty new or at least they hadn't been through a shift yet. The wolfess carried a hot box under one arm, a pair of heels and umbrella in the other.

As eager as they'd been to start the challenge, neither had thought about where to hold it until Ryan brought it up. It was the weather that decided it for them, since she had an actual dining area.

Zin was giving Ryan the once over before bouncing to Flare as the kitchen door swung shut. A smile crossed her muzzle in a flash, "Sorry 'bout the other day, Suga. Just couldn't help myself. Gotta say that you were delicious."

Flare did her best to keep from grinning at the compliment, "Yeah, well you didn't taste too bad either." She nodded towards the box, "Hope you're ready to eat some crow."

The wolfess blinked almost too innocently, "Here I was hoping that I might talk y'all into giving me some more phoenix, but if you know a willing crow that's not too bad either." Flare angled her head to give Zin a glare, turning to to Ryan when his beak gave the slightest click of amusement. "Got a place I could warm this up?"

"Yeah, come on back here." She waved her hand towards the kitchen and pushed the door open. "What do you need?"

Ryan took Zin's umbrella, "Thanks, Suga. Got anywhere I can put these shoes? Wanna wear them to look good, but until they they're bastards if I wear them too long." He nodded towards a shelf where they kept some outdoor shoes, since Flare tended to go barefoot when and where she could. She justified bare feet in the kitchen by saying that she kept herself clean, and there wasn't anything that could happen that would leave lasting harm. But the shoes were there if they ever got an official visitor anyway.

Zin breathed out a whistle as she strolled into the kitchen. "Fancy place here." She dropped the box to the counter and began to remove trays, "Got an oven I can use?" Try as she might, Flare couldn't help but stroll over to the counter to see what was being brought out.

"Yeah," she waved towards the couple ovens she had, "Just watch out for that big boy up there. Got extra gas lines fed to him so it gets hot enough for me to pop back up quickly."

Brows bounced, "Oooh, makes sense there. Was a bit worried when you didn't grow back from your head or something like that. If you hadn't replied to my note, would've been over here to check in on your boy and see about it, kept your head on ice until then. Just in case..." she rolled her shoulders, "Well, in case in case. Dunno all the rules 'bout everything so gotta guess."

Flare leaned forward and puffed out gently, "Yeah, I'll have to keep my eye out on you around certain times of the month it seems. Although, I will give you a little pointer if that ever comes up again." She was doing her best to get a sniff or peek or anything.

"What's that?" Zin asked as she checked under tents of foil and slid a tray into the oven. Flare only got a brief glimpse under the foil, but it looked like a good half of a turkey under there.

To keep herself busy, she checked in on her own dishes. "Phoenix feathers burn pretty readily." To demonstrate, she picked up a stray feather and held it over the stove, flicking it away the instant it caught. Zin jumped as the feather flashed over, leaving just a smattering of dust to waft through the air. "Even used it as a quick rub plenty of times, the ash is pretty tasty."

The wolf blinked with wide eyes, "Well, suppose that makes things easier than trying to pluck you." She flashed that smile of hers, "Leave that for your partner, huh?" Leaning against the counter hard enough that it creaked, the pitmaster gave the phoenix a once over.

Now that the wolfess was looking at her, she was keenly aware of how she was dressed as well. Much like the wolf, she'd opted for some jeans and a blouse, but where the wolf seemed to have opted for a sundress for her top, Flare just went for a rather ordinary printed top with a few colors and the declaration, 'Taste the chef' printed on it. She plucked at her shirt a little, "Since it's just gonna be the three of us, figured something casual,"

"It's cute, looks good one you." Zin's grin only widened as she braced both arms on the counter, letting her tail wave behind herself slowly. "So, do you wanna whip out your meat, or should I show you mine? Not sure how manners dictate this."

By then Ryan had joined them in the kitchen with a bottle of wine that he was letting breathe. "Easy now. I trust that list you sent me was good, Zin? Picked out a few things that might pair well with your menu."

"What?" Flare huffed at him, "you knew what's on her menu?"

He ignored the tone and way she was puffing up, "Of course I did. I asked so I could prepare drinks to go along with it. I also swore I wouldn't tell you what she was preparing either. Not unless I told her what you were cooking up and wouldn't do that."

While Flare continued to huff and puff, Zin craned her head towards the eagle, "Yeah, what'cha got?" her ears perked curiously, "Never had anyone offer up wine pairings with my food before."

"Wine would be hard to pair with some of what you've prepared, but based off your descriptions I made a few guesses. However," he trailed off as he went to the fridge and pulled out a box Flare hadn't seen that morning. "I did manage to get my hands on some select beers that I felt might go well with it." He fished one in particular out and Zin actually let out a squee.

She reached for the bottle, but stopped herself partway, "How did you get your hands on a Westvleteren 12?"

Ryan's feathers ruffled proudly even as he kept his tone relatively neutral, "I have my sources. Go ahead and take one, I got my hands on a pair of cases." He slipped a glass towards her. The wolf was very nearly purring as she opened the bottle and poured it as carefully as she could.

Zin took a deep whiff before sipping, her knees almost buckling as the taste washed over her tongue. "Oh heavens, this is too good to go with my stuff."

Flare gave the wolf the side-eye, wondering to herself if the lupine had actually came from just sipping that brew. "Ryan doesn't go halfway when he goes for a pairing." She was doing all she could to keep casual about it, but she was practically squirming with over-eager energy to get going with their competition.

While she squirmed and Zin savored the beer, Ryan busied himself with preparing a few more drinks before looking over them. "Shall we, if we're ready?"

"I'm so ready," Flare practically leapt at the oven.

Zin rolled her glass, "Yeah, I wanna see what you've got for me."

Flare laid out her banquet on the counter. Cut of wolf on a frite with shallot jam for starter. Followed by a soup inspired by a Filipino sinigang, swapping out the pork ribs for Zin's rack. The main was a Wolf Wellington with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus topped with a hollandaise. She'd picked a few of her favorite cheeses to follow, pairing them with a wine she knew Ryan would've selected. And to wrap things up, she'd done her best to make vanilla brown sugar candied bacon a la werewolf. She was rather proud of the spread she'd come up with. Fiddling with a plate, she cleaned it up before looking across the counter and blanching at Zin's spread.

Zin had countered with something more down home, but not without its own sophistication. Salt and pepper biscuits stuffed with phoenix sausage. A Brunswick stew containing bits of slow cooked and shredded phoenix. Her main was a perfectly roasted Flare breast with skin that looked like it could've competed with Flare's own Peking Phoenix, served alongside her own roasted garlic mashed potatoes, homemade mac and cheese, and a heaping bowl of cole slaw. A bit of fried and seasoned phoenix skin brought it down to the desert. A coconut pecan pie.

"I couldn't really think of a dessert to use, but I worked some bits of the fried skin into the crust. Normally, I'd render out some fat and work that into the crust, but you are one hellishly lean bird."

Flare missed the nervousness weaving through Zin's tone because she was in the same state herself. "Thank you, I try my best to stay tasty." Her eyes were focused on the wolf's spread, while the wolf was busy looking over the five course dinner laid before her.

Only Ryan looked between the two meals, each the size of something a grandmother would cook up on the holiday, and clicked his beak. "Shall we begin?"

Countless hours later, the phoenix and werewolf were still in the kitchen, leaning over the long-cooled meals and talking. "You know I've never been able to get a hollandaise to work without breaking it somehow. And yours is just..." she trailed off as she examined the sauce clinging to the asparagus, "perfect. How do you pull it off?"

"For one, I stopped following the cook and technique books and all those super fancy, fussy stuff. There's an easier way to do everything. What I want to know is, what the fuck did you do to this garlic?"

The pair of chefs were alone in the kitchen, Ryan having abandoned them some time ago to get some sleep. While the cafe wasn't planned on being open tomorrow, he still had other business to attend to that required him to be somewhat rested. If Zin had noticed what the time was, she might have been worried as well since she tried to open on a somewhat regular basis. However, the pair of them were too absorbed by their challenger.

Each of them having worked through a fair number of the drinks that Ryan had allowed hadn't helped their discussion either. Both were leaning against the counter out of more than just interest. Flare was swaying a bit as she changed her focus from the mashed potatoes to the mac and cheese, staring at it as if it contained the secrets of the universe. "And this mac and cheese..."

Zin stumbled around the counter and leaned rather heavily against Flare's backside, poking at the mashed potatoes. "I get a lot of garlic, lots and lots of it, then slowly smoke and roast it until it's all delicious. Dry and grind it up myself too."

Speaking of grinding. Flare groaned as the larger female pressed against her, almost mashing her into the counter top. Feathers perked a bit as she rolled her hips this way an that, noticing something a little unusual. Her mind raced back to when she'd visited the wolf's place and tried to rectify what she was feeling with what she remembered then. After a moment of racking her brain she huffed softly, "Zin?" the wolf grunted a response as she stabbed a fork into some of the phoenix breast, then the wellington, and chomped down on it. "What is poking my butt?"

"What?" the wolf wiggled her hips back and forth, taking a moment to think about it before it clicked. "Ohh that? That's my penis."

The phoenix blinked, "Oh, your penis. Of course it is." She lay there as the wolf ground against her, her own hips wiggling back as well as they ground on each other. "Did you have that before?" Considering her state, a little worked up from watching others feast on her meal and more than a little tipsy, it was only natural that Flare reached back to feel that bulge.

A throaty groan shook through her body, "Nah, you didn't miss it." Zin's tongue rolled from her muzzle as she began to huff, body rocking against the pets. Her tongue slapped against lips with a low groan as Flare's clever fingers opened her jeans. "Was doing a bit of carvin' and sometimes parts grow back a bit different. Nothing too drastic, but you know some extra parts now and then..." While Flare was busying herself with opening her pants, Zin returned the favor by opening the phoenix's as well.

Color her surprised to find out that Flare didn't have any underwear on. She kept some guy's boxers around for when her sheath popped up, but they were easy enough to work down, especially since her cock was already starting to peek out, spitting precum against the feathered posterior. She licked her lips slowly and dropped to her knees without warning.

Flare was about to ask what the wolf was planning when that tongue slapped against her pussy. The phoenix arched with a moan, wiggling her legs to get her jeans down further. Tail feathers fanned and lifted as she arched with a croon. Eyes rolling back as the wolf began to drive her tongue into that pussy. Zin let out soft growl and narrowed her eyes with a groan as she nuzzled the avian's rear. Puffing softly as that scent invaded her senses. Spiced, smokey, Flare smelled of fire and all kinds of good things that made the wolf's blood start singing. "Oh you are delicious," came the hungry growl as Zin's rough hands kneaded Flare's backside. Her tongue lapping at the pussy juices. "Makes me want to make a sauce..." she growled and nipped the mythic's clit.

That nip made her gasp and arch, thighs shaking as her insides trembled, "Oh, I've tried." Her head was reeling as that tongue drove deeper into her, lapping far deeper than most could reach. "Never turns out as good as I'd hoped."

Hands clamped onto her hips as the wolfess stood and lined her pointed tip up with that sopping entrance. "Maybe we could work together." Zin licked her lips as she just slammed in and began to pound Flare's backside with hard, fast thrusts that barely even dared work more than a few inches of her cock in that tight phoenix tunnel. Curling her hands around Flare's thighs, she lifted the smaller female up and back, letting her balls rail against the chef's belly.

It was all she could do to just hang on. Grabbing at the counter as the pitmaster worked her over, cock pounding hard and fast against her inner walls. "Could think of a f-f-few things we cou-could..." she groaned, eyes rolling back in her head, "do together." She really wanted to rock her hips back into the fellow chef's thrusts, but it was hard with her feet dangling off the ground like they were.

Swinging a leg out, she hooked her taloned feet over the rungs of a stool and drew it over. Zin jumped at the scrape of the metal on tile, but slowed her rutting long enough to help get the phoenix on the stool. With it settled, she dug right back in. Low growls and grunts sounding from the larger wolf, met with gasps and calls from the phoenix as her tunnel grew hotter. Flare wrapped her legs around the stool and drove herself up and back against the female, shivering as that breath puffed against her neck, the growls driving her even wilder.

It felt so good that she didn't even notice that growing swell that was slapping and popping at her pussy lips. Flare's body jumped as a rough finger dropped to play with her clit, tickling it in quick flicks. "Oh fuck!" Reaching up, she wrapped an arm around Zin's neck, drawing herself up as her hips jerked back towards the wolf with a shrieking call as she peaked.

Zin snarled as the phoenix practically screamed in her ear, driving her hips flush against that tight little bird. She'd waited a bit too long to get to this, feeling how those pussy lips were rubbing against her mostly grown knot. Ducking her head, she clamped heavy jaws around Flare's shoulders. Eyes narrowed as she drove forward, pinning her partner and semi-rival between the unyielding counter and her hardness. Body jerked this way and that, rolling ever so slightly as she let out a deeper growl

Just when she thought she couldn't have came any harder, Zin bit down on her. Flare's eyes rolled back in her head as her body shook with that snarl. Muscles clamped down so hard she was certain she was going to pull something. A distant part of her was aware of the pressure against her privates. Something spreading her folds steadily, getting spread further with each passing moment as her mind raced. While she'd never been with a canine, couldn't go online without stumbling across some porn of them posing or banging some girl. Logically, she should know what a knot was, but realistically she was only able to drool on herself.

A sharp jerk of the wolf's hips sent one glans past those folds, Flare gasping in shock at the sudden pop and stretch. As she was lifting up, Zin's hands pulled tighter against her body and hips bumped to the other side. Pussy lips stretched and stretched before reaching the full peak and sliding around the other side with a wet slurp. "AH FUCK!" Flare screamed in surprise as the knot was pounded all the way in, her folds throbbing around the wolf's fat bulge.

"FUCK!" Zin howled in agreement as she hammered all the way in. The way those blazing hot folds wrapped around her knot was too much for her to handle. Body slamming against Flare's ass with each shot of hot cum that was pumped into the phoenix.

A sigh heaved from the door leading upstairs, "I was going to come down and see what all this racket was. Thought you two were about to kill each other." Ryan padded in, wearing only a pair of tenting boxer-briefs and a coy little smirk. He made it a few steps before letting out a wide yawn. Blinking, the eagle clicked his beak, "So, do you two want to get some rest, or want to try and get more? I feel as if you keep going at this rate, I won't get any sleep tonight."

Zin laughed, panting still as her body rocked on top of Flare's. "Well, gonna be stuck here like this for about a half hour..." she groaned as Flare squirmed on her knot, "Or more if she keeps wiggling. So it'd have to either be her beak or ass. Unless you wanted some of the wolf, big guy." She grinned at him.

Ryan's brows bounced, "Well, I haven't taken Flare's ass before..."

Flare patted her hands on the counter, "Well, I'm just drunk enough to let you!" Her cheeks flushed a bit as she lay out on the counter, "Maybe in bed though, I can't feel my legs."

"Are you absolutely sure about this?"

Flare nodded and lay back, taking a shuddering breath, "Yeah. About as prepared as I'll ever be so just go ahead and shove it in there before I change my mind." She did her best not to tense up as her pussy was spread wide, "Fuck!" the phoenix gasped and did her best not to squirm as the rod was driven deeper into her. "So big..." she gritted her beak.

Zin growled, "If you squirm it's only gonna make this more difficult. Ryan, could you give me a hand here?" The wolfess was hunched over the large prep table, sleeves rolled back and holding a massive, squared-off steel pole in one hand and trying to keep Flare from squirming too much with the other.

Ryan padded over, "Need me to hold her down or get the oil?" He had his sleeves rolled up as well, which was only natural considering how sweltering it was outside and that close to the wolf's fire boxes.

She barked out a laugh, "Don't need no oil, she's slicker than owl snot right now. Just put your hand here and hold her down." The eagle planted both hands on Flare's lower belly, feeling where the oversized skewer was before moving his hands higher. "There ya go." Broad shoulders rolled as the wolfess grabbed the steel with both hands and shoved. The pair of them watched as the metal slid ever deeper, driven by the wolf's supernatural strength. Flare tried to arch off the table, pleasure and pain blending into the world's more intoxicating cocktail. Between Zin's power forcing that deeper, and Ryan's hands helping line her up, Flare couldn't have gotten away even if she wanted.

Craning her head up, she watched as that bar snaked deeper into her core. Breath came in faster pants, body humming as the smooth metal slipped past slick muscles and punched ever deeper. She gasped, or at least tried to, as it pushed up against her diaphragm. "This is gonna pinch, I guarantee." Flare wheezed as it punched through that muscle and up to her chest.

Her head was spinning as it fed deeper, Flare letting out a slightly woozy giggle. "So this is what it's like?" Ryan's arched brow was enough of a response for her to continue. "That...artwork," came the labored huff, "Of woman and.... guys... couple foot... long cocks."

Ryan snorted and Zin let out a guffaw, "Don't make me laugh! I don't wanna jostle anything too badly while I'm in here. Lay your head back, Sug."

Flare's head dropped to the washable pillow before she wheezed, "Deeper.... Daddy."

Zin nearly fell against her as she laughed, driving the skewer deeper than she'd meant to. It surged up through Flare's chest, past her organs, through her throat, and practically exploded out of her beak. The phoenix's head rocked back with a strangled noise as the steel hit her beak hard enough to chip it. "Sorry!" came the worried call. "I told you not to make me laugh though. You okay?"

She huffed around the skewer, barely able to draw breath around it since it was filling her gullet. The phoenix lifted a shaking hand and gave a thumbs up. "Good as can be expected?" Ryan offered as he felt along her throat and further down. Flare wiggled a hand, "Yeah. I figured as much. Feels like you've got it lined up good in here. We should be ready for the next part." Zin grunted as she pushed the steel deeper. "Or now we should be ready."

"Wanted to make sure it's seated well enough." Her broad shoulders rolled in a shrug as she tossed him some wet cordage. "You get her hands, I'll handle the feet?"

Ryan caught the twine and set it down before picking up a contraption that he slipped over the spiked end of the pole. "Works for me. Always do enjoy trussing her up when I get the chance." Flare huffed around the pole and watched as he tightened a screw to keep it in place. She moved to rest her hands on the bar, but her arms were already shaking. Hard to tell if it was from the shock or the pleasure. Didn't matter since he was used to handling her in both states. The twine found its way around her wrists, weaving a web down her arms as well. Ryan working quickly to form a shibari-inspired web along her arms. Meanwhile, she could feel Zin simply binding her feet to a similar crossbar.

"Done here, how are you down there?" Ryan rubbed a hand over Flare's cheek as she lay on the table, forced to stare straight ahead.

Zin tugged at her leg as she finished binding the legs, "Yep, got her all down here. Gonna need your help moving her though. She ain't heavy, it's just awkward is all."

"Gotcha." Grabbing the pointed end, he looked back at the wolf, "So on three? One..."

Zin levered the back of the skewer onto her shoulder, "Two, three, heave!" The pair grunted as they lifted the, quite literally, spit-roasted phoenix onto their shoulders and carried her gently towards the waiting fire pit. While Ryan held his end up, Zin worked hers into the chain drive she'd thrown together earlier that week. Only when she'd gotten it seated did Ryan drop his into the holder with a grunt. Flare squeaked and glared towards him as the entire pole jostled a little.

"Sorry," he muttered, giving her cheek a pet. He stepped back as Zin pulled a lever, swinging the entire rig over the waiting fire. "Do you want me to get you a tablet or something? Don't know how well they'd work that close to the flames." He angled his head to watch as the spit and phoenix began to rotate over the flames.

Zin waved her hand, "Tablet? Pfft, Wait till you see this!" Flare looked towards the wolf as the heat began to soak into her flesh. The wolfess strutted towards a TV she'd just had mounted outside and swung it out on an arm. "So what y'all been watching?" Having a TV was better than the table for sure, easier to keep her eyes on it longer as she was spun slowly. The phoenix squirmed on her post as she grew warmer by the second before...

FWOOSH!

The wolf yelped when Flare flashed over, feathers combusting in an instant before wafting around as flavorful ash. "Warn me next time! Goddamn."

Ryan was checking over a knife, "Thought we had warned you about that before. I clearly remember Flare explaining about the lack of a need to pluck her. Speaking of which..." he motioned towards the table as he slid his knife smoothly over a honing steel. "Your turn?

"Can't blame a gal for forgetting, can ya?" She smirked at him, "Should I keep my pants on or off for this, feather duster?"

"Lady's choice."

Flare rolled her eyes, as if there was ever a question about that. She stared at the plain steel as she was rotated smoothly. By the time she got back around, Zin was stripped down and up on the table. "Been trying to get a bit of weight on, get that good marbling going." Easy enough to do with Ryan supplying her with those beers he'd been mysteriously getting his claws on. Not to mention Zin's seemingly endless supply of mac and cheese, doctored by Flare to plump up the wolf a bit.

She grinned, well wolfishly, as Ryan stepped in, both her legs wrapping around the eagle and pulling him in against her as she lay back. Bare privates rubbed against his pressed slacks as she breathed out a deep murmuring noise, "Come on, birdy, show me how good you are." Flare rolled her eyes and turned her attention to the TV as low moans and grunts sounded from the very vocal wolf as Ryan started to peel back the fur along her stomach so he could get to that belly meat. "OH that's good," she moaned, body rolling against his, "Can see why Flare's wild for ya."

"Please hold still."

"Or what? Gonna tie me up? Promises promises."

Flare muttered, at the very least they could put a muzzle on Zin. Was getting hard to watch her shows over how she carried on.
