It has been a few days since the surprise attack from the apes, and things seemed to cool down around them. All except for Spyro and Cynder, where things have seemed to be heating up over the course of days. They would sneak off to who knows where, well only Aaron would know but they made him promise to never tell the Elders about this. They were afraid of what they might say about this union. Yet while they were away they would make out, kiss, and talk to each other, everything that couple would do. At least for now...

"How's Hunter?" Aaron asked as he walked out onto the balcony with Ignitus.

"He's fine. He hasn't regain consciousness yet but he should be soon. His wounds have healed up nicely, but he is still in critical condition." Aaron nodded as he looked out onto the mushroom forest.

"That's good, but it will mean that it will be up to me to fight those hunters, where ever they are." Ignitus nodded this time.

"Yes, I only hope that you will be able to beat them. Or at least that Hunter will be up to it in time. If not it will be up to Spyro and Cynder, that's if they ever come out from where ever they headed off for." Aaron just smiled and looked back at Ignitus.

"I'm sure where ever they are they have each other." Ignitus raised an eyebrow but shook his head.

"May I ask just how long are you going to keep this lie up Aaron? I know what is going on between them." Aaron was shocked at first, but he calmed down and looked right at Ignitus.

"How long have you known?"

"Since the night you helped Cynder let in the light."

"But how could you have figured it out?" Ignitus just chuckled.

"You think an old soul like me can't figure out that someone as young as Spyro is in love." Both Aaron and Ignitus started laughing.

"So, should we tell the other Elders?" Aaron asked after he stopped laughing.

"No, we should let Spyro and Cynder tell us, when they are ready." Aaron nodded and looked back towards the forest as Ignitus walked inside. Aaron started to fade out as he continued to look out towards the forest. He started to think back, to the back of his mind. He wanted to try and think of anything that could bring back his memory. He kept thinking over and over but nothing cam to mind. When he finally snapped back into it he saw that he had been sitting down with his head laying back. He thought he must have fallen asleep or something so he stood up and looked out to the sun to see that not much time has passed. He turned around and started to head into his room, that's where he spotted his duffle bag laying on the bed. He remembered that before he was trying to look through it when Hunter tried to kill him so he decided to go through it to see if he could find anything. He dug through several things of clothing before he came onto a certain device. When he picked it up he recognized what it was, it was a camera. At first he was glad that he had found something that could remind him of things, but when he tried to turn it on, all he could see on the screen was "low battery" before he shut off. "Fuck, god damn it! I was so close." He set the camera back down and left the room. He walked down the hall, making his way towards Spyro's room when something caught his ear. Not a single noise was being made inside the temple. He looked up and down the hallways to see where everyone was since he would see at least one of the elders or something moving around, but not a thing was in sight. "This isn't right." He thought to himself as he crossed his arms. "Something doesn't..." He didn't finish his sentence as he felt something sticking out of his neck. He carefully felt the object before pulling it out. He brought it around for him to see, and what he saw he didn't like. It was a tranquilizer dart made from a soft wood with the skinniest needle tip he as ever seen. He thought of how they hit him without them noticing. That's when he noticed that tip was laced with a certain liquid which must have made it to where he couldn't fell it as it penetrated into his skin. With this discovery he knew that something was up, so he quickly made his was down the hall and towards Cynder's room, but before he could go inside something caught his ear causing him to stop and hide near the doorway.

"Come on brother! Let's kill them already!" Aaron heard and he knew that they were the enemies. He peered around the doorway to try and see what was going on, and what he saw he didn't like. Both Spyro and Cynder were knocked out and tied up on the floor while Hunter was still badly injured and laid up against the wall.

"Not yet brother, you know what Malefor's orders were, and there were not to kill them." Hearing this drew Aaron's attention towards the back of them room. Now he could see who the hunters were. There were two apes side by side. One of them was big and bulky while the other was slim and tall, but they both stood straight up and wore some strange fur type armor. At this part Aaron knew for sure what was going on, and he didn't like it. The hunters... are here.

Spyro soon awoke and looked around. At first he thought he had fallen asleep but when he tried to stretch, he noticed things were far worse. He looked at his back to see his arms, legs, and wings tied down. He tried to wriggle around and loosen the ropes but it failed, that's when a thought hit his head. He tried to open his mouth, but only just enough to let some fire out and burn the ropes off. He was almost successful in till one of the hunters stepped on his back knocking the wind out of him.

"Foolish Dragon, why must all fire breathers try that trick? They should know we are smarter then that by now." The skinny ape said as he kept his foot firmly on Spyro.

*laughs*" Yeah you think they would." Both of them laughed as the skinny ape started pressing even harder and twisting his foot onto Spyro's back. They laughed even more when they heard him whimper in pain. It was then that the skinny ape finally lifted his foot aped and turned towards his brother.

"You know brother, if this one is awake then the other one should be soon." He was right as not of too much longer after he said that they both heard Cynder waking up, and her reaction was the same as Spyro, but when she turned her head to look around her eyes went wide open as she spotted the hunters approaching her.

Both hunters just grinned at her response as they both approached her. She tried to move away from them but she didn't get far as both pinned her down. Cynder just sat there waiting to see what they would do, and that's when she noticed Spyro nearby watching her. She knew he was waiting to see what they would do as well and if they would hurt her...or worse. It was at least two minutes before one of the apes finally did something, and that something was taking of the rope tied around her jaw. When it was untied she just shook her head and turned it towards the apes.

"Loki and Eddie, I thought you two were dead!" She yelled in anger.

"Oh we were Cynder, in till Malefor used her power to bring us back for this special hunt." Loki replied back.

"And we still are dead just not completely, we are more like?" Eddie stopped as he thought.

"The walking dead." Both apes laughed at Cynder's remark.

"Yeah, that's it." Eddie replied as he walked towards the door."Hey brother, since both of the dragons are awake, shouldn't that creature be up soon?" Eddie looked back to see Loki nod.

"What have you done with him and the others?!" Cynder yelled.

"The elders are asleep, and will be asleep for a longer time, while for the Hooded Cheetah, he is right over there alive and well, well I shouldn't say "well" in his condition." Both Cynder and Spyro looked over to see Hunter against the wall bleeding badly. Loki smiled at the response of both Spyro and Cynder as he walked over to the door next to his brother. "But for the other he should be up so AHH" He could finish his sentence as both him and his brother went flying back. Both Spyro and Cynder looked to see that it was Aaron who kicked them.

"How did you do that without us seeing you?!" Loki yelled as he brought himself back up.

"Easy. You two weren't paying attention when I walked to the door, then all I did was simply wait on the door way. You know for hunters you two sure don't know when you're being hunted yourself." Both growled as they stood back up.

"Doesn't mean anything since you just snuck up to us like a coward. Who taught you to be like that your pussy of a father?" Eddie replied as he stood next to his brother and at that moment Aaron's hands closed into fist.

"Don't you dare say a thing about my father." Aaron quietly said.

"I'm sorry what was that, oh did you idiotic father also teach to twalk like that when your angwey?" Both started to laugh as Aaron's rage grew.

"If you say one more thing about him..." Aaron started off but Loki stopped him.

"We really should stop saying things about his father, for it was clearly his whore of a mother who fucked him up." Both Loki and Eddie started laughing, but that didn't last long as Aaron sped towards them and looked at them face to face. Both of them did nothing but look right back at him.

"If you so much speak one more word against my parents, so help me!" Aaron yelled and the brothers just laughed.

"Aw is the human getting upset, so we'll call your mother from letting your father suck her tit for "Eddie never finished his sentence as he was sent flying to the other side of the room by Aaron's punch, Loki seeing this quickly ran over to Eddie. When both brothers looked towards Aaron their eyes grew wide in fear as he approached them, but then he stopped and both brothers grew a wicked smile across their face.

"Aaron, are you ok?" Spyro asked as he saw Aaron stop in the middle of the room. During the whole thing Spyro was able to burn the rope around his mouth without anyone noticing not till now.

"Spyro, something's not right." Cynder stated as she noticed something weird about Aaron, The air around him seemed to darken in Cynder's eyes. She didn't know why but it seemed familiar to her.

"Ah, so what he spoke of was true of this creature. Then I can assume we shall be gracious you have arrived master." Loki said as he and Eddie kneeled down as Aaron started walking towards them again.

"Oh how right you are" He grabbed Loki by the throat and picked him up "But how foolish you are for letting your guard down." He threw him against the wall and watched as Eddie stood up and drew his sword.

"I don't understand I thought you were him." Eddie said as he watch Aaron slowly move around him.

"Oh I'm him alright; I'm the one you wish you never messed with." Aaron said as he closed his eyes. Eddie, seeing this, took the chance and swung his sword but Aaron caught him at the wrist and looked right at him with his eyes closed. "Yet you still wish to fight and die." Aaron shook his head." So be it." Eddie tried to swing his other hand around to punch Aaron but failed as he grabbed it in the same place. "Now I will show you why." Aaron opened his eyes to show Eddie that there was now nothing but total darkness in his eyes. Aaron let go of his left arm but twisted the right arm around, but he didn't stop there as he place his hand on the elbow and push on it with tremendous force causing it to pop out of his arms. He leaned in close to Eddie's ear."You better say bye to your brother, but don't worry, you will see him soon." He then moved his hand up and broke the upper part of his arms causing Eddie to scream in pain causing Loki to look up just in time to see Aaron stab Eddie in the head with the very bone Aaron popped out of his arm. He just let go and watched as Eddie's body fall towards the ground. He looked back up to see Loki charging right at him in full anger.

"Why is this happening, he told us you would become his puppet?" Loki yelled as he slashed several times at Aaron, but he dodged everyone while laughing.

"I warned you of this."Aaron said as he grabbed Loki's wrist, grabbed the sword, and quickly threw it across the room in till it stuck sideways in the window. "But you didn't take it, and now you will pay." He said as he grabbed Loki by the throat and lifted him up again.

"I don't understand!" Loki yelled and Aaron just laughed more.

"It won't matter anymore." Aaron replied as he threw Loki, but only this time he threw him towards the window where his own blade which still hung stuck in the window. Surely Loki hit the blade full force, but how Aaron threw him, he made sure that the blade would cut quickly through his neck cutting his head right off. Aaron started laughing as he saw the head fly off and the body fall straight down towards the ground. He didn't laugh too much as he bent over in pain before jerking back. He stayed like that for several second before he turned around towards Spyro and Cynder with his eyes closed once again.

"Aaron, are you ok?!" Spyro ask as he looked at Aaron."Cynder, are you ok as well?" He asked as he looked towards Cynder, but how he saw her eyes worried him.

"It can't be!" Cynder yelled as all of a sudden both she and Spyro were sent towards the wall, but they didn't fall down as something clank around their throats.

"What's going on?!" Spyro asked as he looked towards Cynder.

"I knew something was familiar, but it just can be, NOT HIM!" Cynder replied back as Aaron walked slowly closer.

"Oh but it is Cynder." Aaron replied, but in a completely different voice.

"Wait, who?" Spyro as he looked towards Aaron."That voice, it can't be"

"Hmm and I thought you would recognize me Spyro for the last time we met, you two trapped me inside a crystal." Aaron replied back.

"It can't be." Both Spyro and Cynder said.

"Oh but it is." Aaron replied back as he opened his eyes to show that they have now gone purple. "Malefor is here!"
