That being said, this story still doesn't have any yiff yet, but it does have some nudity and a little bit of touching. So please enjoy it and keep looking forward to more.

Chapter Three - The Stranger

========================

Kelly led the way slowly form the edge of the forest to the small inn just a few hundred yard from the edge of the forest, Mjter following solemnly behind. The pair was quiet exhausted after their ordeal, and still had a mission to complete. The two story building slowly came into view, made of brick and logs. It was charming in a cozy sort of way, and a chocobo stable laid to the left of it.

Mjter's eyes opened wide with excitement. "Is this a Hume village?"

Kelly continued walking, amused slightly with her tone. "Yes. The Black Thorn Inn actually. They have some very nice beds, and some great food. And in there basement is a nice hot spring too." He looked over his shoulder and saw her eyes betray her. "But I wouldn't get to excited. Remember you have a mission to do."

She narrowed her eyes slightly perturbed at the fox. "Right. I have to aide my sisters. I haven't forgotten." She bustled ahead of him and quickly caught open the door, letting Kelly step in and following behind him.

The fox was immediately greeted with happy welcomes and good tidings, as a healer was always appreciated, especially in small establishments such as this. He walked up to the front desk and addressed the elderly man sitting there. "I need a room with two beds, private and ground floor. And I will also be accommodating this young lady. She need a private room on the ground floor as well."

The old man picked up a dusty ledger and readjusted his spectacles over his broad nose. "Let's see. That'un over there is open. It's 35 gil a night. And we got a single overlooking the stables. It's 20 a night. That acceptable."

Kelly reached to his side and managed to fumble out his purse. He pulled out the adequate amount and put it on the table. "I don't know how long we will be staying, but I will pay you each morning if we intend to stay longer."

The man started writing in the ledger. "That's fine. Holler if ya need anything. Away with ya now."

Mjter turned to the fox and gave a curt nod. "I thank you for your assistance. I will handle my own way from here. Should our paths cross again, treat me kindly." Without waiting for a response, she turned on her heel and made her way to the room previously indicated.

Honestly, Kelly was quiet good to be rid of her. Though fierce warriors Viera were, they were a bit too haughty for his taste, except the few rare Viera he had met that had left the Wood. He counted them as invaluable allies though, and wouldn't want to cross one. He shifted the sleeping male in his arms, and went over to his own room, a kind patron opening the door and closing it behind him.

Taking great care, he softly placed the person down on the bed, before turning going to the attached washroom. He found a bucket and filled it with warm water and brought it back to the mans bedside. He shrugged his robe off and laid it on his own bed with weapons and bag, pausing for a moment to get a first aid kit out of it, before grabbing a small stool and returning to the man's side.

Without a word he set to work, pulling the man's black leather boots off, and setting them at the foot of the bed. The ankle of the right foot was swollen and looked bruised, but easily remedied. He gently lifted him and shrugged off his cowl and dark leather tunic. Several welts and deep gashes covered his arms, back and stomach, but they could be healed. And with luck minimal scarring would ensue. The left arm was broken in at least three places though.

Kelly's carefully undid the belt on the black leather pants and removed them and the black boxers underneath in a swift motion. He noted more abrasions on the thighs and legs with deep cuts on the side. The thing that was most peculiar was what seemed to be a bunny footprint on a slightly swollen testicle.

The fox looked over the man carefully, taking in the wounds and his body. He was tall, for sure, well over six foot and not Hume for that matter. No, he looked canine, but what kind he was uncertain. His fur was in colored in an unusual but pleasing pattern, deep and light grays with an occasional spot of black. It almost looked like he had been painted. His hair was a deep red, shaggy, and his bangs softly fell down into his eyes. All and all he was fairly handsome, Kelly thought, as he slowly set to work, using the warm water and a cloth to clean out the wounds before he could start any magical mending.

It was slow, but pleasant work tending the wounds of someone who needed it. Soon all the wounds were clear of debris and he held his hands steadily over the body. The smell of sweet flowers filled the air, and a glittering wind surrounded them as he cast the strongest healing spell he knew. "Curaga."

"Cur...aga?" The deep voice of the male came as he softly opened his eyes, turning and looking at the fox. "I...You..." He managed to say weakly as he tried to sit up.

Kelly took the warm cloth and placed it on his forehead. "Shh. Don't try to move. I'm Kelly, a white mage tending to you. Rest. Let me do my work."

The man opened his mouth to retort, but allowed himself to be laid back down on the bed. His eye lids dropped down a bit as he tried to focus unsuccessfully on the mage. "Kel...ly." He murmured as he fell back asleep.

Kelly was quiet amused by this, as he pulled out another clean cloth and dabbed a bit of potion on it. The wounds had knit themselves clean with the Curaga spell, but they left scars from how deep the wounds had been. Dabbing the potion on them would erase the scars to almost nothing, which is why he was gently rubbing lighting at each one, watching it vanish into a thin line that are barely noticeable.

As we went up the arm, he paused to check the broken arm. The pieces had aligned, but weren't quiet solid. He bandaged it up tight, using small splint to keep it straight while it mended. He checked the ankle while he was thinking about it, and it was good as new. Content with his, he went back to dabbing the wounds quiet thoroughly. The last spot he dabbed was the now unswollen, but slightly bruised testicle, which caused a small breathy intake from it's owner and small giggle.

"T-tickles," the male said, his male hood reacting just a bit noticeably as it was rubbed.

Kelly smiled to himself, giving it one last dab and declaring everything as done. He reached down gently pulled the sheet over the male to give him at least some modesty and tucked him in gently. He turned his back and cast a Regen spell on him to help with his healing before walking to the door of the room with muttering a small "Rest well."
