#2 of Jade's Trip to The Fair
Chapter 2
Jade was watching Poke'mon, when Archer walked in .
"It's 3:00, Fair time," he said lifting Jade from the couch, and suddenly noticed Jade was wet
"Wait the shows almost over." Jade protested.
"Well guess its a good time to be wet then." Archer replied laying him back on the couch, and setting down the bag. Jade blushed a little at that, but was soon engrossed in the TV once again, and when the episode ended, so had the change.
"Come on let's go." Archer said, turning of the television and walking towards the door
"Coming!" Jade replied, dashing after him, only a faint crinkle gave away his newly changed diaper.
The car stopped outside the fair, Archer glanced to his right Jade was asleep in his car seat beside him, contently sucking on his pacifier.
"We're here." Felix said, turning off the engine. Archer leaned over and pulled the pacifier out of Jade's mouth and his eyes popped open.
"Hey!" Jade whined grabbing it back and popping it back in place, and his eyes closed once again and he was asleep. Archer pulled it back out and this time didn't give it back.
" We're here," Archer said, "Now if i give it back are you gonna go back to sleep?"
"No." Jade pouted, as it was given back. He quickly brightened up. "Fair!!" He then began bouncing in his seat. Archer unbuckled him and opened the door, Jade leaped out and dashed off.
"Hey come back!" Jade skidded to a halt and trotted back
"You'll have fun." Felix said. I'll pick you up in an hour. Archer waved by as Felix drove off, then turned to Jade.
"Ok, so rules time."
"Aww." Jade Whined.
"Ok we hold hands so we don't get seperated, and definitely no running off." Archer continued.
"K" Jade replied, as Archer took Jade's hand and they walked towards the Fair.
Jade loved the smell of the fair and, was interested in the farris wheel, Ooh cotton candy Jade thought.
"Mine!!" Jade called pulling Archer towards it.
"Ok ok," Archer replied seeing what Jade was after, "We'll get some cotton candy." Archer walked up to the counter and pulled out five dollars, "I'll take two cotton candies." Archer said handing the money over and taking the candy. "Here." he said handing one of the candies to Jade who eagerly stuffed his face. Jade suddenly noticed his best friend, Chestnut, in the crowd. And dashed off, pulling archer along with him, chestnut noticed the stampede before Jade reached him and dragged his mom Amber to greet Jade halfway. Chestnut gave Jade a big hug and a shy kiss on the cheek
" hi Jade." Chestnut said
"Hi, Cotton candy?" Jade asked handing her a piece
"Yummy!" Chestnut replied stuffing it in her mouth, "Ya wanna wid the fawis wheel." Chestnut replied, mouth full.
"Yeah!" Jade replied, "Can we Archer, can we?"
"Sure." Archer replied.
