#4 of Academ

Mara is on her way to learning that there are many ways of learning things in life other than simply keeping your nose pressed firmly in a book, although, it causes her some strife. Today she goes out on a date, an actual date rather than just a little fling for physical contact, although, that'll happen too.

Morning came as many other mornings did, with the sun peeking through the window and Mara slowly slipping out of the covers of her bed groggily. As usual, she was tired and rather irritable from a lack of sleep, but this time was just a little bit different. There weren't any books strewn about her bed except for one at the edge that was shut. She hadn't been up all night studying and wondering what she could and couldn't do with the forces around her, but instead she had been up all night wondering how she was going to handle this date today. Yesterday, she had gone to the forest to conduct a ritual and she had expected to be alone and left to her own devices, and yet, she had found a helper in the form of Ana, a peach-furred faun that was far more clever than she had originally thought. Eventually, with their business concluded, the faun had asked Mara out on a date for a walk through the deeper portions of the forest, and what a staggering proposition that had been! She should have said no if she knew it was going to be on her mind every single waking moment. Mara couldn't help it, she had a habit of overthinking things that she didn't quite understand, and social interactions were certainly high up on the list of things she didn't get. There might be certain expectations that she wasn't considering, and there was also the fact that her wardrobe was extremely limited, and so much more. With a sigh, the plum furred feline hopped out of bed and wandered out of her room and to the bathes figuring that would be the first thing to do if she was going to be going out on a date.

From the bathing hall, she came out wearing student robes because she hadn't known what else in her wardrobe would look good. She walked while thinking about if she needed anything from her room. This was a date, not a magic ritual so she was sure she didn't need any magic tomes or wands or anything of the arcane variety, but still, she felt kind of naked without her own personal tome. With a frown, she stopped in her tracks and remembered that Ana had said that their date would be magic free, and well, she had agreed to that like a fool. With her ears pulled back she huffed and seethed at the fact that she was actually going to follow through with her promise and she turned away from the direction of the dorms to instead make her way to the academy's entrance.

Since it was a weekend, there were students flooding the main courtyard and entrance as they had been yesterday. She walked among them only using the barest functions of her mind to keep herself from bumping into anyone as she wondered what would her opening move would be. She thought, and thought, and continued thinking until she felt like her brain was going to pop, but she didn't have anything substantial except, 'Hello.' and, 'Good morning.' It seemed like for all her knowledge of the arcane she should be able to come up with something as simple as a greeting but she couldn't, and that bothered her more than anything else. Problems were meant to be solved, problems in knowledge were meant to be figured out and in her mind, she was failing. Failure was a step to success, but Mara's method had always been to claw at the wall in front of her until she broke through with the brute force of her own thoughts and what she learned from books; and this time she couldn't.

Internally, she could feel the hands of stress and discontent grabbing her and trying to yank her down as she continued her walk outside of the school. She barely registered the fact that she was just now stepping out of the gate. The plum-furred feline walked through the crowd while looking directly ahead, but her eyes were distant and focused on nothing in particular. If it weren't for a sudden voice, she might've kept on stewing in her own thoughts and self-loathing right down to the town.

"Hey! Mara! Where you going?"

Mara's ears raised along with her tail and she looked from left to right before she realized where she was. She stood on the path heading to the city just past the crossing that would have taken her to the forest. When she turned around she saw Ana standing there with a tilted head and both hands on her hips. The peach-furred faun had opted to wear short blue dress tied around the waist with a ribbon along with tight shorts that hugged her thighs in ways that the feline couldn't help but take note of despite what she had just been feeling. Mara felt her cheeks burn and what negative thoughts she had begun to fade away like shadows dying beneath the sun. She had been caught in a moment of weakness and stuck in thoughts that were unbecoming of herself and despite that, she was elated to see Ana again.

Mara made her way toward the peach-furred faun while avoiding the playful smile in those wild green eyes, "I uh, I was just walking past you because I kind of didn't see you and didn't really know where I was going."

"Oh really? Lost in thought? Probably thinkin' about how yer going to greet me or somethin' like that, or maybe about that big book of yours. One of those things, coz both are a mystery to you. Interaction, and interdimensional beings."

Mara huffed and felt her embarrassed fluster turn to an irritated one and it reflected in her tone, "You might not be wrong, but I think you're an ass for putting it that way."

The faun smirked and her arms moved to cross together, "I think in the grand scheme of things y'need someone to tell you how loony you are!" There had been some sort of hot response ready to fly from her lips as a retort to continue their bit of banter, but Mara's mind froze when Ana leaned close to plant a soft peck on her mouth. The faun then spoke with words like honey that warmed her mind, "Even still, good to see you without your head in the clouds. I've been up all night thinkin' about how fun this is gonna be. I got some cool things to show you in the forest."

Mara kept her composure, clearing her throat before answering, "Cool? I thought we weren't doing anything magic related?"

Ana winked, "We're not doing anything magic related, just gonna be in a place that is mostly pretty magical in nature. A little bit of group research and then maybe some kissing if you're up for it?"

For a moment, Mara found herself growing excited at the prospect of research, and then she thought of how the other had silenced her with just a small kiss, how easy it had been to make calm her down. Her mind had felt as if it were underneath some sort of veil of noise and warmth unable to surface properly. Rather than focus on the pursuit of knowledge like she normally would, she was focused on how it would feel to attempt a deeper kiss. At this point, she was flustered beyond reason with her fur puffing just a bit and her tail flicking from side to side quickly.

"Mara? Are you okay?"

Hearing the other's voice broke her out of her daze and she coughed, "Yes! Right! Into the forest we go! Lead the way!"

Ana answered with hand covering her mouth in the most smug motion that Mara had ever seen from someone talking to her, "Just eager for the making out part aren't you?"

A wash of warmth crossed her body and she huffed, "I'm interested in the magic too! But of course I'm interested in the physical portion too, you're attractive after all."

Mara was drawn into a sudden tight embrace that took the wind out of her lungs. She huffed as she was drawn up into the air, spun and then set down. A few choice words about personal space were about to slip from her mouth when she found herself face to face and nose to nose with the faun. Ana had a small smirk and Mara found her heart starting to tick just a few beats faster. Such close physical contact couldn't just render her dead in the head. She had to remind herself to actually think, that this was just a moment of passion and that she could still be who she was without giving into this strange feeling. Finally, she realized that there were still people walking past them and she began to squirm. Ana promptly let her go and giggled at the flustered feline before turning to start walking without saying a word.

What was that? There had been no words, no taunt or tease, and no action taken after that little smirk and giggle? Was there something else to it all? Mara passed a paw against the back of her head and took a deep breath. She followed along with her tail flicking from side to side and her mouth set in a hard line with the intent to question the faun.

When she finally got close enough she huffed, "What was that about? Were you just holding me prisoner to embarrass me in front of our peers?"

"Honestly? Yeah."

The blunt honesty took Mara aback, but she didn't question it and she didn't press any further figuring that she might just end up embarrassing herself further if she went into it feeling so flustered, instead she made herself content knowing that there was something waiting for her at the end of this walk, something interesting relating to magic that she might learn from. There was also kissing waiting for her at the end of this little trip, and well, as much as she enjoyed it, she needed to reign it in a bit since she felt like her body was taking over her head.

Once the heat of their initial encounter had settled, Mara was free to take in the sights of the forest. Just like last time, the late Autumn chill brought shivers up her body and she could see the leaves in the trees turning further and further orange. Their steps trampled dead leaves beneath their feet which crunched in the quiet forest. Mara marveled again at the fact that it was so quiet compared to the academy and compared to the main path. It was almost like stepping into another world, and a world she wasn't exactly accustomed to just yet.

The feline occasionally stumbled over roots and rocks and after a bit of that, she took to looking at the ground to see where she was stepping. Ana, on the other hand, seemed perfectly at home. Mara's eyes trailed back to the faun to find her walking with her hands held at her back and her eyes shut as she hummed out a soft tune. It seemed as if she could sense where she needed to go and with a certain grace simply moved without stumbling or faltering on the terrain.

"How the heck are you seeing where you're going?"

Ana answered without turning her head, "Simple." Her voice then took on a quality that sent shivers down her spine. It sounded so different from her usual voice that Mara almost thought that she had become someone entirely different, "You see. I love nature, and I seek to understand every facet of it. There is nothing greater, to me than connecting to the mother of mothers. In this, I have established a greater link with much of this forest. It isn't that hard either. Really, she only wants you to listen."

"She?" Mara asked, genuine curiosity quirking her brow.

The faun smiled, a single eye opening as she stopped and turned her head just a bit to answer with her usual inflection, "The very land we're standin' on o'course."

"You're saying that we're standing on a huge entity? Do you mean Ultera? Or the world?"

Ana answered without missing a beat, "Both, in a sense. Perhaps an elemental, maybe a Goddess, all I know is that as a druid, I can hear the land and let my senses intertwine with that great mass o'power. Maybe I'll show you how if you're interested sometime."

The feline took a moment to answer, more than a moment actually. Her mind was storing details left and right while trying to sift through them for the important words. Finally, she answered, "Who am I, to deny some sort of possibly godly elemental or being an ear? If supposedly she wants me to listen, then I'd be more than happy to. If only it furthers my knowledge of magic and this world, and well, I do need the help with earth magic."

Ana laughed, a single noise that cut through the silence of the forest and sent small fluttering animals flying away. When she finished crossed her arms and shook her head, "For all the wrong reasons, but I guess that's just the way you are huh? Maybe if y'understood you'd want to earnestly connect instead of wanting to probe everythin' with that mind of yours." Mara frowned and was about to come to her own defense but the faun continued, "Ah that's fine. That's just how you are. Jus' be careful. You might run into something dangerous or you might miss all the beautiful things this world has to offer."

Again lost in her thoughts, she remained still with digits rubbing at her chin. Originally she had thought to tell Ana to shove it, but maybe there was better sense in simply accepting that what Ana said might be true and thinking about that rather than staying stuck in her own ways.

"I guess you're right. Even if I think you're irritating about it, I admit that I rush things. I do wonder, how you have me pegged down so well."

Ana rolled her eyes and started walking as she answered with a chuckle, "Please, you're not as deep or as shallow as you think you are. Now c'mon pretty kitty, we're almost there."

As much as she took offense to being called pretty kitty, her date was correct. There was no sense in standing around too much when there was something to be seen at the end of this trip, but what that something could be she wasn't sure. Ana's definition of, 'almost there,' was most certainly different than her own. It felt like ages since they had started walking and Mara swore they were going to be popping out of the other end of the forest soon enough. It was as she was preparing to complain of the long walk that they stumbled upon what appeared to be a giant tree.

A tree larger and wider than any other she had seen stood at the center of a clearing. It would have been more accurate to call the tree a colossus of its own, for the roots themselves were jutting out of the ground and seemed like small trees themselves. Mara marveled at the sight and found herself approaching the massive thing without the guidance of her date, in fact, she had almost completely forgotten that Ana was there, to begin with. She stopped by one of the roots and planted a paw against the rough wood of the root and she felt a shock jolt up her arm. A gasp escaped from her lips, but she didn't pull her paw away. Magic coursed through the roots of the tree and she could feel it just from a surface touch. It felt like something so powerful, something so dangerous and magnificent! It was like a great manifestation of a ley line and it was fantastic.

There was so much to do here, there were so many things that could be done here! The amount of rituals that could be done without consequence, without using the caster's own resources! The possibilities were practically endless!

In the middle of her wild thoughts, she felt gentle digits squeeze around her shoulders and she turned her head to see that Ana was standing behind her, "Now now, this isn't the amazing thing."

Mara gawked, "Are you kidding? Ana, look at this thing! It's massive! This tree must have grown purely on the power beneath it! What could be more amazing than this!?"

Ana stepped back with an all-knowing smile painting her expression and she turned away slowly before moving toward the base of the tree where a hollow opened up between the roots. Mara blinked, and she looked up at the tree wanting so badly to remain and examine it further, but she had to trust the Ana wasn't leading her astray. With a sigh, she trotted on with a little hop to follow Ana and hopefully find whatever it is that she said was more amazing than the tree itself.

The hollow was just as dark as she had expected, but only for a few seconds. After a few steps past the threshold of light and dark, they found their path illuminated by small blue buds growing off of the tree's bark. As they made their way deeper, more of those sprouts appeared until the strange hollow opened up to a small cave. The floor was lined with grass peppered with flowers of every color and they all glowed as intensely as the sun did. Above them, the tree opened up and glowing fragments fell down onto the flowers below. It was a sight of beauty and even from where she stood, she could feel the magic pouring off of the flowers.

After a momentary silence, she muttered, "You were right."

When she turned, Ana was sitting near the entrance with a big smile with her knees drawn up and her eyes practically sparkling. Mara looked back to the patch of flowers, and then back at Ana before moving to sit next to her. Silence hung between them, but it didn't feel or seem uncomfortable. Mara could perhaps think of something or other to say, perhaps even ask a few questions, but instead, she found herself looking at the patch of flowers. Perhaps there was something more she was meant to see? Or something more she was meant to feel.

With a frown, she remembered those words, 'She wants you to listen.' With eyes closed, Mara tried to listen for something, anything, but of course, there were no sounds to be heard. Slowly, she reached out with her senses as if trying to grasp the twine of magic around the air. It wasn't difficult. As soon as she reached out it felt like she was in a practical ocean of the stuff. Normally, she would expect to feel some sort of pressure, some sort of intense exertion of the magic on her person, but here she felt almost at peace and the magic only seemed to caress her. Deeper and deeper she slipped into her trance until she heard what sounded like soft bells shifting in the wind. She tried to listen further, but it seemed to be coming from beneath her, and she was firmly rooted on top of the land. A bit of frustration colored her mind and she opened her eyes slowly to end her first attempt.

She felt soft arms move around her body and she turned with a sudden start to see that Ana was pulling her into a gentle embrace, "Not bad for your first go...But really, we're not here to do magic, right?"

Mara felt her cheeks flush as the faun's nose touched her own. Her thoughts were still revolving around what she had just felt and the magic that was in this place, but what she was thinking was slowly being eroded by the warmth blossoming against her chest. Without waiting for Mara's response, Ana dipped in for a deep kiss. Even if she hadn't been prepared for the sudden passion, the feline pressed forward eagerly. Mara had been looking forward to this just as much as she had the magical discovery, but now that she was faced with exploring either one or the other, there was no way she could ignore what her body desired.

Their lips parted and their tongues met as they continued further into their passionate embrace. She could feel hands trailing down her body, but she did nothing to stop them even as she felt them gripping underneath her and against her rear. The kiss was something that had her body shaking from the start, and it had her heart thumping like wild. Hot fire traced down her back and her mind was turning to fog. It felt as if that magic presence that had been caressing her, had engulfed her and her senses and Mara did not mind one bit.

When they parted for breath, Ana slipped away and stood. She smiled as she brought her hands down just beneath her waist to take split hoof digits and slip them beneath her shorts. Mara shuddered as she watched the faun pull down her shorts and underwear to reveal a flared cock already twitching and fully erect along with a set of heavy balls. Mara got up herself and she started to strip.

She felt a bit self-conscious getting nude in front of someone she considered so attractive, but she soon felt gentle digits helping her get out of her robes and underwear and in that she felt some form of comfort, some form of happiness.

Once she was out of her clothes, she felt those digits grip onto her hips firmly and Ana planted her chin on the feline's shoulder, "So tell me pretty kitty...You like it rough don't ya? I remember you said that demon was too soft right? That's why y'took control? So do you want me to mess you up? For me to order you around and make you mine?"

Mara's ears were pinned back and her tail slipped between her own legs, but she answered, "Yeah..."

"Then turn around."

Mara felt the other slowly slipping away and she turned around as ordered. She was then promptly knocked onto her rear with a single strike. It had been a firm push that had sent her onto her rear, a sharp one at that, but it didn't hurt. When she looked up, a hoof pressed against her chest and sent her on her back with a gasp. She then looked up to see the faun standing over her with a grin. Without a moment spared, Ana dropped down and planted those firm balls on her mouth. Mara was more than just a bit surprised, but slowly she started to lick each one and kiss as she knew what was desired. She suckled and kissed, her tongue dipping between and below those heavy orbs while Ana stroked her member and let out little-pleasured huffs. Before long, she felt digits at the back of her head urging her on. She could feel Ana moving and she kept her tongue out until the faun was sitting on her face. She had asked to be taken and to be made the faun's and here she was dragging her tongue over the puckered hole of her lover and apparent owner. Perhaps she might've fought more if she hadn't been so blindsided by the faun's passion, by her personality. Rather than fight, she meekly dragged her tongue across that hole, dipping it inside occasionally while her own paws moved down between her legs to feel over her cunt.

Ana slowly got up after Mara planted one last kiss on that precious ring. She gripped the back of Mara's head by the fur and slowly dragged her to sit up. Mara winced as she felt the pinpricks of pain traveling through her body, but she didn't protest as she felt the cock slapping against her cheek. She opened her mouth wide knowing already what the other wanted, and she felt the flared tip of the faun's cock slowly slipping inside. She trembled feeling the warmth sliding against her tongue and made no move to stop the hands gripping at both of her ears like handlebars. Ana started moving her hips back and forth and Mara could feel her cock sliding deeper and deeper until she started to gag a bit. She winced and she trembled but she remained still as the faun's cock slipped deeper and deeper down her throat until she could feel the balls against her chin.

The faun squeaked, "Whoaa...Ah, didn't think you could or even would take it all! Geez! Musta practiced or somethin', but I can't cum here."

Mara felt flustered at being complimented like that, and from that last little statement. If not her mouth, then where was Ana planning on cumming? She got her answer when Ana pulled out from her mouth and knelt down between her legs to grip at her ankles and spread them apart. Mara gasped as she felt the tip of the other's cock press against her wet folds. She had been prepared for this, had been wanting this, and now she found herself staring as the tip slowly slipped inside. Mara huffed as she felt that flared tip spread her and groaned as the faun slammed half of her cock inside. Now the faun moved inside of Mara slowly to feed every inch of her cock inside of the feline's cunt. Mara's arms clung on tight around the other's body and her legs hooked onto Ana's waist as she trembled feeling that thick thing stretch her. Ana didn't wait until every inch was inside and instead started to pull back just before, rolling her hips and thrusting toward Mara. The feline squeaked and moaned with every thrust, pain trailing her body along with the pleasure that burned inside of her gut. More than anything else, though, she felt embarrassed.

Mara hugged close to the other to hide her face against Ana's chest. She kept her eyes shut and she was shaking in a mixture of pleasure and pain with a hint of shame. It felt so strange. She had enjoyed sex before and even enjoyed it with that demon, but she had never really felt this level of passion, this level of desire. It was coming to the point where it was overloading her senses and her mind. Her thoughts were getting the best of her again and her mind began to travel in circles. How could Ana be so genuinely passionate for her when Mara lacked the knowledge to interact without feeling like an idiot? It was the worst time for those thoughts to crop up and her trembling only seemed to grow.

Gentle digits suddenly touched her cheeks and brought her back so her eyes were looking into the wild green of Ana's. There was genuine love and concern there and in that instant, Mara noticed that the other had stopped. Both of her paws moved up to touch the other's wrists and she felt a smile touching her features. Seeing that confident venere peel off for just a second, even if it was for her, made her feel just a bit better. She still felt that she might not deserve this kind of care, but she leaned up to plant a gentle kiss on the other's mouth, Ana returning the kiss slowly before returning to their game.

Back and forth those hips began to move again, this time more gently, more softly, and Mara could feel herself growing closer to her climax as she focused on what her body was feeling rather than whatever random thoughts were floating about in her head. She focused on the kiss shared between them and the cock pulsing inside of her and eventually, she felt her climax arcing through her back and causing her to shiver in bliss.

Ana's lips pulled away slowly, "Should I pull out?"

Mara's answer came as she lowered her guard and let her passion fly. She gripped the other's cheeks and pulled her down into a deep kiss while pressing her body up against hers. With just that motion she could feel Ana's thrusts growing faster and faster until she felt hot cum pouring inside of her. She kept kissing the other while she felt that thick seed burying itself deep inside of her. She purred as their lips melded together and sighed happily when their lips parted.

Mara laid back with Ana on top. Ana held the feline gently and Mara kept her eyes closed with a soft smile on her lips. On her mind, there was nothing. There wasn't anything taxing on her mind, nothing motivating her to learn one thing or another, she simply felt content, in her mind and body.

"Soo...Worth hangin' with a loud mouth like me?"

Mara opened an eye, "Huh?"

Ana was looking down at her with a small smile that seemed for some odd reason so sad. Mara couldn't tell what the other was thinking, and she didn't have the experience with social interaction to read the mood, and so instead she remained honest, perhaps the best thing she could have done, "It was the best experience I've ever had with another person...I'd love to be around you anytime, whether learning, or simply sitting together...Thank you for today."

Those wild green eyes seemed to light up like the night sky, and Ana squeezed Mara lovingly before whispering, "Thank you too pretty kitty."

With that said, the two laid there beneath the great tree and near the patch of flowers, their eyes shut as they enjoyed the afterglow. Mara would have to do this more often.
