And again I'm posting...but this time this stuff got proof read, by Mister-ViciousReader - so for the smooth read you can thank him cause when I wrote this part I had Mill. of mistakes, yeah, and if there are still some mistakes, who cares ^^ Its not like we're High-Class-University-English-Teachers so yeah, well maybe ViciousReader is, Im not sure ^^....anyways

Ive finished the next chapter mostly..and just to say chapter 18 will probably be my favourite, because ive got the ideal idea for it, I mean I cant wait to get to chapter 18 I swear, I sit at school, at work, and all I think about is chapter 18.........yeah yeah weird I know whatever lets read. :)

May gazed at the sight before her, broken trees and scattered pieces of wood lay everywhere. Something big must of happened here. The place was demolished, as if something big had crashed through.

What happened here? Looks like a battle, She thought.

The Mightyena noticed a large dent in the ground, and a trace of flattened grass leading somewhere deep into the forest. The trees on the path were bent or broken.

Definitely some big Pokemon. Kyurex and Blaze are probably involved in this. Damn it!

„KYU!!" The black furred creature cried, only hearing a slight echo. No response. The only thing she could hear was the peaceful chirping of the surrounding bird Pokemon. May started to look around nervously.

They have to be somewhere.

„BLAZE!!!!!????" she cried out once more, as loud as she could. Again there was no responce. Everything was peaceful.

„Damn it..."

May slashed at a nearby broken tree and sent a dead branch flying, eventually hitting the ground where a bunch of other wooden pieces lay. She started growling to let her impatience and anger flow out of her.

Just as May was about to hit the tree again, the ground next to her started to move.

A Dugtrio popped up. May was surprised, and not knowing anything about the creature, she followed her instincts and took a couple of steps backwards. The three heads stared at her.

„Hello Miss, are you the one who called for Blaze?" The trio said in a robotic voice. Hearing Blaze's name nearly forced May to jump. Finally! At least some clues. Though it was still all wierd.

„Yes! Why? Do you know where he is?" she asked without hesitating. The Dugtrio proceeded to talk.

„Well, we have an offer for you then. You get rid of the metal creature, and we will give you your friend," they said. May didn't get it at all. She looked around. Was this metal creature the one that did all this damage that surrounded her?

„What metal creature?" May asked. The three headed Pokemon looked around, also wondering where the metal creature was. They were sure it would of returned by now, but the area seemed unusually still and peaceful.

„We apologize, but the creature isn't around. There must be some mistake. Excuse us."

The three heads looked at each other. And then they were gone, digging themselves into the ground at high speed. May didn't even have a chance to clear things up.

„Wait!! What about Blaze!? Hey!!" She hit the ground with her paw, exactly where the Dugtrio had just been a moment ago. The earth was hard and the impact had zero effect.

„What was that all about??" May asked herself, speaking out loud. After a few seconds everything seemed to be exactly as it was before the Dugtrio had appeared. A wrecked area with the birds flying around and a peaceful atmosphere.

Blaze is definitely somewhere around here.

Suddenly the earth next to her, about a meter away, started to move. This time it was a much bigger spot of earth, and somehow nothing popped up.

What the?

Diglet heads started to pop up, and slowly a hole revealed itself.

„What are you guys doing?" she asked the Diglets, but they were obviously too busy to answer. May stepped closer to see what the Diglets were trying to do. After building a perfect hole that seemed to look like a tunnel, the Diglets disappeared.

„I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! I CAN SEE THE SUN!!!"

A really, really, reaaally familiar character gradually crawled out of the hole, looking like he was panicking. May was surprised at first.

The earth around the hole started to move as soon as the Houndoom was completely out, hiding the tunnel once more under the ground.

„Blaze???" May ran over to her friend to help him. He looked kind of tired, his poor eyes seemed to express pure exhaustion.

Blaze stretched himself, letting his paws feel the grass. He moaned for a while, letting himself collapse onto the ground while trying to enjoy the fresh air, which was much better than the smell of wet earth. May didn't understand his behavior, wasn't he willing to ask questions, or to at least know where she was or something like that?

Blaze turned his head, noticing his longtime friend.

„May?? Where's Kyu? Is he alright?" he asked, sounding like he was about to die.

„'Where's Kyu???' ...What? You don't know where he is??"

Blaze sighed, laying his head onto the ground.

„What happened to you guys anyway? Weren't you together?" May asked. Blaze, after taking one more breath of fresh air, looked at May.

„All I know is that we had a battle, then I use-"

„Battle?" May asked confused. Blaze grinned.

„Nothing serious, just fun. Anyways, I used flamethrower. Somehow he got away, and then I remember him standing on a boulder or something. The next thing I know the ground started shaking, I think the boulder also shook, but..."

He thought deeply, narrowing his eyes. He tried to remember what had happened but it was useless, because something gave him a blackout.

„No ideas man..." he said. May observed Blaze, he didn't sound as happy as usual.

„Are you okay? What the hell were you doing under the ground?"

„Trust me, it was pure horror... Those freaking Diglets locked me up and said they wouldn't let me go unless the monster went away or something..."

„What monster?"

„No ideas!! And I had to eat potatoes, otherwise I would've starved to death down there. I'm always unlucky..." Blaze said, getting up. He looked around, realizing that this was exactly the place where he and Kyurex had battled. He didn't recognized it earlier because it looked totally different then it did that night, the trees were partially demolished.

„Woah... I think this is where me and Kyu battled..." he said, still looking around. May tried to figure out where Kyurex could be. She walked back to the place where she had seen the dent. The trace of flattened grass and trees made her suspicious.

„I think I get it now...." she whispered, speaking to herself as Blaze caught up to her.

„And why the hell did you take so long yester-"

„I think I know where Kyu is..." May interrupted. Blaze looked around, puzzled.

„Where?"

„Lilly! Just use ember one more time, come on!!" Jessica instructed her sister harshly. Kyurex knew that Baxten, who was being instructed by Slade, was going to win. Jessica's tactic was pretty simple: Pure offense. Slade's tactic was much better: Dodge and counter. Kyurex found both simple, but had to admit that Slade could think fast.

Lilly tried to catch her breath. The small red fox didn't want to lose in front of her classmates. She tried to apply ember like her sister told her to, but it was useless, she had no power left to use.

„You can see she has no strength. Use tackle, finish it already..." Slade grinned. Baxten nodded.

The Machop prepared himself to leap at his opponent, but was stopped because the teacher stood between them.

„Ok, that's enough...next match. Slade and Bondor, choose please."

Kyurex was standing next to the Primeape for the whole match. He watched as Jessica approached with an obviously bad mood. She looked at her teammate as he moved forward.

„What a jerk..." she said. Bondor grinned as he heard her, she always acted like that. „Just because he's incredibly strong doesn't mean he has to show off all the time...." she commented.

„Jess, you know Slade... He's like that," Bondor remarked while passing her. The Luxray and the Primeape went to observe the variety of students.

Jessica glanced at Kyurex, before looking to the side as a sign of pride. The Umbreon sighed quietly to himself, she didn't look like she was going to be pleasant. Though, you never know...

„You shouldn't be so harsh on your sister, you should of known that she wouldn't of had enough power for another attack so soon." Kyurex said, not knowing why he said it. The Ninetales was surprised by the sudden statement which she honestly didn't expect. She observed the new stranger.

„I wasn't harsh, Slade is just too skilled. And don't lecture me...I've known her far longer than you." she said, sounding bossy. Kyurex ignored the tone. Why was Slade so popular? His strategy wasn't all that complex.

The second battle had started. On one side Slade stood with a Miltank while on the other stood Bondor with a Pikachu.

Kyurex looked back at Jessica. He wasn't a guy who ran after girls, he had enough hobbies to not get sucked into that kind of game. This was his instincts that always reminded him that he was standing next to a gorgeous female, and it just wouldn't let his mind tell him „It's not right to admire her, you've got enough problems regarding females!"

But in the end, he knew it was just his instincts.

„Well anyway, Slade seemed to be quite serious and rough during the match. Is he always like that or is he just showing off?" Kyurex asked, noticing that the Ninetales slightly started to grit her teeth. There was something wrong.

„That's because he's a selfish jerk!" she snapped. Kyurex was a little puzzled. He was still watching the battle, but this sounded interesting.

„Aren't you together or something?"

The Ninetales turned away again.

„No..." she said. Kyurex thought it would be wiser to not ask any details, because he was sure that recently it was a yes. That means that the others probably haven't asked Jessica yet, and still thought she was together with the Luxray. Still, the curiosity was killing him.

„Don't worry, Slade wasn't that good. He left Baxten clueless a couple of times." Kyurex wanted to cheer the Ninetales up. It didn't seem to work.

„He's a genius in battling...you're probably just jealous..." she said, not intending to dis the dark creature. Kyurex smiled.

„Not really..." he replied. Something inside him pushed another attachment to his words. „On second thought, were you two really together?"

The Ninetales couldn't do anything but smile slightly. It wasn't that hard to understand what the Umbreon had meant.

Crud, why the hell did I say that?

But it wasn't that bad, because now Jessica was a little interested into talking with him.

They watched the battle. Slade was winning, because Bondor, like Jessica before, seemed to like offense. His Pikachu was constantly delivering thundershocks, while the Miltank used its round body to roll out of the way. The whole class discussed while the Slaking tried to infer when interference was needed.

„Hello sir..."

It was Lilly. Both Kyurex and Jessica were so busy watching the battle that they only noticed Lilly when she had spoken.

„Hey, Lilly...nice battling!!" Kyurex tried to cheer her up, because she looked depressed. Lilly looked at the ground while Jessica tried to not comment on the battle.

„But now I lost...everyone will think I'm weak..." she said. Kyurex understood that with „everyone" she meant her classmates. „But I guess its ok."

She must of wanted to prove to everybody that she also can fight, especially Flash, Kyurex thought. Jessica still tried to concentrate on the battle, though still listening with one ear. The dark creature eyes widened slightly. He had a brilliant idea.

„I've got an idea sweetie...You'll battle...and I'll guide you."

„No way! She hasn't got enough strength for another battle!" Jessica now interrupted. Lilly looked a little lost. Why was Kyurex so confident?

„Don't worry...I've got a plan-"

„Against Slade? Are you nuts or something?"

„Don't worry....just trust me..." Kyurex gave Jessica a warming smile that slightly convinced her. Lilly watched the Umbreon, a little unsure.

„But sir, I won't be able to do much..." she said with sorrow. Kyurex chuckled, his idea had to work, though it wasn't without risk.

„Look, all we need is your knowledge.... a simple question Lilly. Do you know everyone from your class? At least their preferences, a bit?" He asked, knowing that he rushed it a bit with the question, but his idea was worth a try.

Lilly thought a little.

„I guess..."

„Superb... Now lets go ask your teacher if I may guide you."

They started to move. Jessica watched Kyurex suspiciosly. „What the hell is he up to?"

„Man, this is taking like, forever....Yo!! Did I mention that I'm starving over here?" Blaze moaned, trying to convince May to stop. May sniffed around.

„I can't catch Kyurex's scent..." she said, not knowing if they should continue to follow the path of flattened grass. Blaze also sniffed. The only thing he could smell was earth, but that was because he was still dirty after being caged underground. He looked at May, who was obviously worried.

„I sense someone in love...I sense someone in love...." he started humming, and on top of that he started to smile. May understood his intention and she turned around.

„I don't love him, ok? Maybe like, but not love!" she said, trying to hold her temper and speak normally. But Blaze was intentionally provoking her, so to rise May's temper was actually his goal, even though it didn't always end well for him. He started to circle around his friend.

„Ah yeah? Than what's up with all the emotions when the subject is Kyu? Heh?"

Blaze was slowly nailing the point. May was shy when it got to such things, so she tried to change the subject. She turned around.

„The subject is not worth talking about anyway...Lets go, I think if we follow this flattened grass for a little longer, then we'll definitely find something." May quickly said, trying to flush down the whole Kyu talk. But Blaze knew better...

May tried to walk, only for her path to be blocked by the horned dog. Their eyes met, and Blaze tried to act as serious as ever.

„May...I know he likes you too...so don't give up, ok? He's maybe acting like he hasn't got feelings, but you know it's not true..."

May couldn't do anything else but to smile back. Blaze was right, she knew it. She didn't know what to say.

„Thanks..." she blushed, this was the first time she had indirectly stated that she had feelings for the Umbreon.

Suddenly they both saw a large shadow move across the ground. Blaze looked up.

A large Fearow with its wings spread landed smoothly not too far away from them. After flapping its wings for a moment it pressed them against its body, then slowly approached the two dark Pokemon.

„If you guys are searching for a guy named Kyurex, then follow me." He said, flapping his wings and taking off again. May didn't hesitate.

„Lets go!" and she darted off after the large bird. Blaze shook his head.

„Man, I just got her to stop...and now we've got to run...what a pain." he complained to himself, also starting to run.

„Are you sure?" the Slaking asked. Kyurex looked at Lilly, who didn't know what to say.

„Of course I'm sure. Trust me, I know what I'm doing..."

The whole class was still watching the match. Slade was obviously winning again. His Miltank delivered the final tackle.

„Well, if Lilly agrees than I won't speak against it. Its her choice." The teacher said. Lilly looked at her teacher, then at Kyurex, and then again at her teacher. She wasn't going to be weak.

„I want to do it!" she said, sounding confident. Kyurex smiled.

„Well, ok then."

The battle was finished. The Miltank clapped her hands, showing her obvious pleasure in being victorious. The whole class cheered and applauded while Slade stood grinning at his team mate.

„Bondor...another time my friend."

The Primeape was loosing his temper. He hated loosing, but he had to live with it. The whole class whispered about Slades quick thinking. Kyurex grinned, he knew that he could defeat Slade.

„Well...ok class..." the Slaking stood in front of class. „Lets have one more battle today, and then you can go. Okay so Slade as the winner gets to choose, and our new guest Kyurex..."

The whole class looked at the Umbreon.

Yeah, I'm going to battle, big deal.

Slade smirked, showing off his confidence. The whole class wondered what the stranger was thinking. For them Slade was a legend, but not for Kyurex.

„I'll take Penrate...come on up." Slade said. A Drowzee energetically got up from the crowd. Kyurex watched. A Drowzee...psychic. Exactly what he needed, because his type was superior to psychic types. Piece of cake...

„And who do you choose, stranger?" Slade asked, still smiling.

Kyurex smiled back, but rather friendly. He didn't even bother looking at the class.

„Lilly."

Slade started laughing.

„You know she's just battled and lost right? You really want to be that reckless?" The Luxray asked. The class started to mumble something like „What the hell is he thinking?". Lilly stepped next to Kyurex, who wasn't showing any sign of regret.

„Sir, what if I lose? Then we'll both-"

„You won't. I know you won't." Kyurex assured her. Jessica rushed to the Umbreon.

„Stop, you'll only make it worse-"

„Trust me beauty...its ok." he answered before the Ninetales even finished.

Everyone looked at them. Kyurex then realized that he just said the word „beauty". Oh well. Jessica was a little surprised. The whole class was now talking even louder. The dark Pokemon was surely unique. Lilly grinned at the sight of her sister. The only one who wasn't happy was Slade.

„Lets battle already..." Slade said irritability. The Slaking stepped forward.

„Ok...so I'll give each team 2 minutes to discuss. After that I'll start the match. At your positions please. Class, quiet down please!!!" He increased his tone. Jessica returned to her spot where Bondor was waiting. The class lowered their volume. Kyurex and Lilly walked to one end, Slade and the Drowzee to the other. They started discussing. Lilly looked at Kyurex.

„Ok," he said. „You know what your friend Drowzee likes to use? Moves?"

Lilly thought, a bit nervous. She was about to speak.

"Its ok, you'll win....believe me." Kyurex smiled. The warmth coming from his kindness instantly gave Lilly confidence. She blushed.

„Ok...I think he likes to use Hypnosis..." Kyurex eye widen a bit. The move that the psychic type loved to use. Of course, disabling your opponent is very effective. But the Drowzee was probably young...and Kyurex knew some ways to escape sleep. After all, he loved to battle psychic types.

„Ok...just one more question...Does he, em... I know this will sound wierd Lilly, but does he have a crush on somone?"

„Alright. Both teams get prepared!!" The teacher shouted. The whole class concentrated, being as silent as possible. This was going to be interesting. Jessica looked worried. Flash shook his head.

„Why Lilly?"

Slade looked at Kyurex, who wasn't intending to stop at all.

„She's weak, just call off the match. There's no way she can win against a psychic." Slade said, not caring if he had just insulted Jessica's sister. The Ninetales gritted her teeth. No one messed with her sister.

„Come on Lilly, show him!" she called. Lilly was a little puzzled, but she believed in the advice Kyurex had given her. The Umbreon looked at her.

„Remember, I'll try and stay silent...It'll only distract. I'll help you when its needed, ok?"

Lilly nodded. She slowly stepped forward, and so did her opponent. Their teacher stood in the middle while the whole class gazed with interest. Slade and Kyurex looked at each other as if this was their battle.

„Show them what you can do girl, your stronger than you think...I can feel your energy." Kyurex whispered, talking to himself. Jessica couldn't stop worrying.

The Drowzee prepared itself, and so did Lilly.

The Slaking made sure everything was ok. And by taking a last look at the two competitors, he waved his hand.

„Then, Start!!"

„Attack with pound, give her no time to react!!" The Luxray instructed.

The Drowzee responded with a cry, running towards the Vulpix. Kyurex grinned, the first mistake had already happened. He had told Lilly to use ember if the Drowzee decided to go melee, and as soon as Slade gave another instruction, she should act quickly and attack again. She was dominant in this situation because she already knew what to do and didn't have to listen to Kyurex, she could act at full speed.

The Drowzee was getting close. Lilly opened her mouth, steadily waiting. The Luxray noticed and was surprised, because Kyurex hadn't said anything. Kyurex grinned. Planning ahead was a strong aspect.

„Dodge, fast!!" Slade shouted. Lilly used ember. The Drowzee was distracted by his instructor, but he dodged successfully. Little did he expected that Lilly only let out a weak ember. She didn't waste any time and immediately used a full power ember when the Drowzee landed on his feet after his jump, hitting the psychic Pokemon in the chest.

„Ahh!!" The Drowzee was shocked and fell back onto the ground. The whole class was stunned. Lilly had just used an amazing tactic, without even listening to her instructor.

„Hehe...never underestimate the shy ones...they're the ones that are the best!! Or something like that..." Kyurex spoke to himself. Slade was angry, how could he fall for such a trick!? Nevertheless...

„All right, enough games...Hypnosis!!"

Yes...and thats going to be your biggest mistake.

Kyurex laughed inside his mind. Lilly knew exactly what to do. Kyurex expected Slade to understand that a dark type Pokemon should know how to evade a Hypnosis, though not always succesfully, but still.

The Drowzee stood up. Lilly concentrated, she was amazed at how Kyurex's tactic worked. Getting no instructions and knowing what to do ahead bought a lot of time to act.

The Drowzee started to mumble some words, staring at Lilly. Lilly didn't waste any time and collapsed onto the floor, relaxing her body.

Kyurex grinned. Well, maybe that was a little too early, but I think they'll believe it.

The Drowzee was surprised, he didn't need much time. Slade was pleased.

„Hehe, its over...just one pound attack and that's how you win a battle. You lose stranger."

Slade was too pleased. The Drowzee slowly approached Lilly, who seemed to be asleep. Jessica shook her head.

„Lilly..."

Flash also was disappointed.

„That's so unfair...she can't do anything!!" he said to his friends. Even Baxten was sad.

„Man, if only I hadn't been so rough before."

Kyurex laughed even more. The Drowzee took his time, he was now only a meter away.

Eventually he stood right above Lilly. She seemed lifeless, only moving due to her breathing. After some seconds he lifted his hands.

„Lilly now!!!" Kyurex called. Lilly didn't waste any time. After hearing the call, she evaded the Drowzees pound at the last moment, making him hit the ground. The psychic Pokemon was so surprised that he didn't have time to react. Lilly acted quick and used all the power she had at that moment.

„Yes...just as I thought..." Kyurex said.

Jessica and the whole class were amazed. The Drowzee was hit even harder than before by Lilly's raging fire powered ember. He flew a meter back, sliding on the ground stopping not far away from Slade's paws.

Lilly panted. She had used her whole power, but still stood on all fours. At last she proved herself...and showed everybody that she wasn't weak.

Everyone watched the Drowzee, who was mumbling something while trying to get up. The Slaking didn't bother asking.

„Well what do you know...Lilly has won!!!"

The whole class cheered. Jessica was amazed, and so was Bondor. Flash and Baxten ran over to Lilly, congratulating her.

„You were awesome Lilly!! The way you fought, even after that first battle!! Cool!!" Flash said. Lilly blushed.

„Thanks..."

Slade grunted, eventually leaving the place. He hated loosing even more than his fellow teammates. While everyone was busy talking about the quick battle, Jessica approached Kyurex. She smiled.

„Thanks..." she said, joining him into watching Lilly getting praised by her friends. He loved the view, it reminded him how he got reputation for winning back in his days.

„Thanks for what?" he asked, not understanding why he got a thanks Jessica smiled, looking at her sister.

„My sister loves recognition, just like I used to..."

„Used to?"

Jessica didn't get it immediately, but after understanding it she nudged the Umbreon.

„Don't get rude..." she grinned.

„Sir, thank you so much!!" Kyurex turned around. He didn't manage to observe much due to the fact that Lilly jumped onto him, making him fall backwards. He had to laugh. Lilly didn't care if it was weird or not, she licked Kyurex across his whole face.

„Hey girl!! Easy there, you might make some boys in your class envy me!!" he joked, letting her hug him. She stayed on top of him.

„Your so nice sir!! I know how I'll thank you, you can have dinner at our place! My parents won't mind! He is allowed, right sis?" Lilly looked at Jessica. A warming smile was the only response her sister could give.

„Hehe...sure..."
