The room was dimly lit as each member entered and took their seats around the circular table, they were considered Legends among the staff who worked under them, known to achieve the most extraordinary of task that was deemed impossible to the typical man. Some believe that they don't even exist while others think that they are beings from another universe. One thing is clear however, they hold unimaginable amounts of power over the organization that they currently hold.

It wasn't long until the last individual entered the room, a Caucasian male with a European decent but American in origin. His icy blue eyes scanned the room before giving a warm smile with both of his arms spread out as if he was about give a hug. "Friends, family, it's good to see all of you in place again. I take it that your trip here was pleasant and uneventful?" 05-1 spoke with a calm, soft tone. The slightly balding man appeared to be 48 but in reality, he was more than a few centuries years older, all of the council members lived well beyond the average human lifespan truth be told so it was considered 'normal' among his peers.

"One, i have known you well enough to know that you won't just call us all here for some family reunion." A pale women with shortly cut blonde hair and hazel green eyes said with a hiss which only made his smile widen even more. "You are absolutely right Ten, there's a reason why you are all here and it technically has nothing to do any dangerous planet destroying or universe ending scp's. In fact, it involves the hybirds that a private company created a while back and no, the company itself had nothing to do with any of other groups that we are at odds with."

Everyone erupted in hushed mumbling before a young man who looked no older than 18 talked directly to One. "Yeah they are quite common these days, i think they were made to complete task that no one else wants to do like cleaning or yard work. Come to think of it. I believe one of my subordinate's friend owns a Siberian husky hybird." One nodded and continued where he left off, "yes the public is well aware of their existence and im pretty sure they are already mixed into the human population as servants. However, we have been receiving reports from our field agents that there's increase spike of unrest within the hybird community."

"I knew it! I knew something like this was bound to happen, you see it all the time in the movies; the creations turn against the creators. We could be facing a possible k-class scenario if this persist." All of the council members gazed towards the man who was called Five, some scowled at him for his sudden outburst while the majority silently stared. "Calm down Five, i said that there was unrest not a war. We haven't received any reports of any hybirds purposely attacking humans so no need to overreact."

One said as he pull out a pack of off-brand newports from his coat pocket, he lit himself a cigarette and took the time to suck the toxic fumes into his lungs before blowing the smoke out again. "But i don't blame your concern, some of us have been here for some time and witnessed humanity go through extinction more than we can count, sometimes by a unseen hand or a incurable virus or even by demons as tall as skyscrapers and we were always there to bring everything back to normal regardless of how bad it was. These hybirds are just animals that can stand, talk and fuck. The foundation will not let a bunch of mere animals destroy what we work so hard to protect now right?" All of the 05 members nodded in agreement which made him grin, it was good that everyone was agreeing on something for once.

"i know that this is nothing but mere planning but i proposed that we activate protocol XTU-099 if the situation reach past the threshold point, in which the world governments fails to contain the situation and the hybirds gains considerable amounts of territory. We will take on the alias of a rogue militia and conduct operations across the globe in a attempt to neutralize the threat." One's was already done with his first cigarette and went on to light up another one mid-sentence. "Now this does not mean that we focus less attention on the objects and entities that are currently under our care. We just gotta stretch our resources more than what we are use to until things settle down." Nods of agreement could be seen from all the 05 members with the exception of one individual who was leaned back against her leather chair and legs crossed comfortably. The women wore an steel black sleeveless dress suit that fitted her curvy frame perfectly but had a white featureless mask to conceal her face.

"You are a fool if you think our military is capable of stopping them. If they are able to hold their own against the world governments, they will be right at our doorstep before we know it. I have another proposal that could give us a guaranteed victory if shit truly hits the fan." 05-7 said in a slightly distorted voice. The man never did like her due to the way she always carries herself but that didn't matter at the moment. "Fine, what do you suggest we do seven?" No one could see it under her mask but she was smiling ear to ear. "I believe that it would be best that we use some of the objects under our care, they could make quick work of the hybirds and the public will be none the wiser." Before one had the chance to say anything, ten already beat him to the punch. "You are implying that we should use actual scp's in order to take on a non-anomalous species. they are not even aware of the foundation existence for crying out loud seven, you can't be serious!" He yelled to the top of his lungs but seven didn't flinch at the slightest.

"Im not saying that we should deploy something like 682 or anything like that but maybe something like MTF omaga-12. A reality shifter under our control could be a useful tool in the frontlines." Seven chirped with determination in her voice, One leaned in with both of his clamped together deep in thought. "You may be on to something seven but that's only if things goes downhill real fast." He stated before standing up from his seat. "Alright everyone, all in favor for my proposal and seven's say I." The majority of the group said I in unison with only a few members staying silent. One was satisfied with how things were going so far that his signature smile returned. "It's settled! I will send you further details about the protocol via email, site directors will be imformed about our plans accordingly. Seven you will be in charge of personally picking teammembers of omaga-12, keep in mind that we still need to contain scp 3480 so Choose Wisely."

After everything was said and done, everyone got up to leave, leaving one alone with another member who didn't say word throughout the meeting.

"It seems that your paranoia is getting the best of you old friend, are they really that much a threat? I mean, humans are treating them like second class citizens." The administrator asked as he poured down two glasses of scotch and offered one a glass. "I must admit, humans can troublesome at times but they are a young and fragile species. With some guidance, they will be much better off. For now, the foundation will play as the over protective mother of humanity." One said as he took a sip from his glass. That last statement made the administrator chuckle as he did the same.

"You know, there's a reality where hybirds brought your precious humans to extinction, there's one where humans never even existed. So many infinite amounts of possibilities out there and yet you still cling on to this reality." One grabbed the bottle before pouring himself another round. "I know this all too well curt, they may have been created to serve humans but if they pose a threat then we must take action."

"Hmm, you may be right or you may be wrong. either way, I'll do my part and you'll do yours, just like before. I will be honest, im getting too old for this crap and i can easily tell that deep down inside, you feel the same way." He said dryly as he stared at the now empty glass resting in front if him only for one to pour him another round. "Yes that is very much true, so much responsibly, so much sacrifice just so people can continue to live a normal life while we battle thoes that go bump in the night. A vacation with a few hot babes wouldn't hurt right about now." One responded with a laugh.

The administrator looked at the man sitting beside him for a moment before shaking his head and smiling, he proceeded to down the remains of his drink then stood up to make his way to the exit. "I will have a word with our contacts soon, you will have the necessary resources and funding in the coming months, goodbye old friend." With that, he closed the door behind him, leaving one behind with nothing but his thoughts. He turned his gazed up towards the glass ceiling only to be met by a giant blue sphere staring right back at him. Earth was home to him and yet it looked so small and insignificant under the void of space.

"I will not let these beast have their way, they will understand that our actions will be for the betterment of humankind and they will embrace being in chains than not existing at all." He mumbled to himself before leaving.
