Angel, Take The Pain Away.
I wake up one morning,
Bright and new.
Something is different
Something's askew.
I feel enlightened.
I feel no remorse.
It's making me happy;
I've set a new course.
What is this thing
I've come to love?
Has it come from the heavens,
The heavens above?
An angel, yes...
that must be it.
Now life won't be
ridden with shit.
I'll be able to live
Through these rigid days.
It will take away pain
At least in some ways.
It can clear all my thoughts;
This angel is strong.
But to whom, may I ask
Does this being belong?
I have hidden my grief.
I have kept it disguised.
So no one could know...
This is why I'm surprised.
But Wait! There is,
But, one I have told.
No! It can't be!
Thou'd not be so bold.
With thought, I see
It is you that have sent
This angel of bliss.
Now must I repent?
No? But why?
For what reason is this?
You have sent me a blessing,
What is it you wish?
Often, it's a whisper
That can bring one the sight
To guide them through darkness,
In search of the light.
As the breath passed my ear,
There was two things I heard.
First, "Say this to others,
They'll remember your word..."
The second was lifting.
Nothing more precise.
"Just cherish your loved ones,
No matter the price."
With this latest maxim,
It seems I should go,
Tell each single person
I possibly know.
My mission is fixed;
I won't be set astray.
This must be fulfilled.
It is this, I will say:
"To all those who seek
A modern direction,
I will bestow with you this,
it is my protection.
Protection from harm,
And protection from fright,
I've been granted the power
to direct you through night.
So come with me, children,
This is where you will see
That by giving your love,
We will all be set free!"
