Battle March
This was inspired, as you will see, by the former awesome wrestler Bill Goldberg's theme "Who's Next?" Well, anyways, it's pretty clean, so not much need for a warning. Thanks for reading!!!
Battle March (inspired by Goldberg's theme song "Who's Next?")
The horns blare, the drums pound, the men
_ - fall into step_
Each beat rolls like thunder, in accordance with
_ - the darkening skies_
Rifles rise to meet the invaders, artillery
_ - armed and ready_
Adrenaline shooting through the mass of
_ - armed cannon fodder_
The slithering of an electric war cry from a
_ - battle axe guitar_
Cymbals clash as lightning crashes, arcing over the
_ - field of battle_
The howling of the ripping wind, meaningless banners
_ - whipping and snapping_
The gods look down from on high, waiting for
_ - the inevitable slaughter_
The piercing shriek of the guitar yet again
_ - snarling, almost terrible_
Step, step, raise the flag! Don't back down
- from the challenge
Hearts beat in 4/5 time, the slaughterers ahead
_ - all in line_
Destroyers of our countrymen, blood like
_ - deathly-chilled rivers_
Over our boots that blood doth flow as
_ - penance for war_
Our souls defiled for inhuman savagery,
_ - we're all animals_
The feral battle cry of our primordial ancestors
_ - shatters the air_
Swords at point, shields in line, "Attack, attack!" we
_ - howl in time_
