A poem I wrote a little while ago, got the editing done today. This is a more general poem, but I'm going to try and do a few more actual 'furry' poems in the future.

Morning Cup

by Daniel C. Aaron

You woke the morning up

With your passion and with your love.

You poured a morning cup

And I knew it was the one,

The one I had to drink,

Down and all the way,

To the bottom, from the top;

A little drop of everything.

Because it was your song,

Born out in a thought,

In a cup,

That we'd always have

The day together,

No matter where we were.

You woke the morning up

And I could hear it in your song

That we'd always have the morning light,

That we would never be alone.

We'd always have together.

We'd always have forever.

And every time I take a sip

I can taste your passionate kiss.

You poured a morning cup

And I knew it was the one,

Because you woke the morning up

With your passion and your love.
