dragon's meal: final
After a few years stuck in the behemoth's den, Spike had noticed a small demon child crying near the peaks. Spike brought the young demon down to the base of the mountain and asked it about how it got there.
"my father left me at the base of the mountain like all demon fathers do to their children. So I came across the tops to die since I know that I wouldn't be able to deal with what all the older demons do in our city."
Spike felt sorry for the young one and hugged him before turning to lead him to food.
Several years passed and Spike found that more and more demon children had begun crossing the mountains in search of death but that the ones that did were more like the furs from the cities back on earth. He used a spell to put a subliminary command into his head as he passed over the tops. He would be forced to cross the tops again if he changed. Just as Spike had predicted he was changed into a blood thirsty monster as he crossed the tops but as he returned he was changed back and headed down the mountain to tell the others. Spike kept a diary of all the things that happened after that.
Spike soon was forced into making a village within the behemoth's den for the demon children and his village quickly grew to several thousand children and adults from the first ones to come to him. Spike soon was the leader of another place. The tiny village grew to a massive village that was protected by both Spike and the behemoths.
After a few centuries the children of the newly expanded village named the large behemoth that followed Spike. They named him Crino meaning gentle giant. He was often spotted playing with the demon children and following Spike. Spike had noticed his powers were getting to strong and began using power suppressing markings on his body. He let his claws grow out to help in the small but intense battles with the imp hoards that constantly attacked the village. Soon the adults of the village and some smaller demons that wanted to help joined in with the behemoths and Spike. Spike started a school for fighting and using magical attacks so the others would be ready for more attacks.
As time passed the village soon had children from the original inhabitants of the original village. Demons that started families while living under the care of the warriors of the village easily led to the start of others. The village grew and grew only to have more and more attacks that leveled some of the village's land.
Spike along with several dozen adult demons, several dozen behemoths, several dozen demon children, and several small behemoth children all helped to protect the village. Spike began learning the void and chaos magics from the behemoths and learned them easily.
Spike can no longer remember how to calculate his age from actual human years into demon years so he simply goes by his actual age. Spike is over 12.324 years old and has traveled back to earth in search of his family and anyone willing to be his mate. Spike still has yet to find any mates but has located his mother who still remains in her cave back in Sumoa which is no longer named such. Spike made frequent visits to see his mother and often searched the world for any willing to be his mate. But soon his mother was exiled from her home and Spike was forbidden from seeing her let alone mentioning his mother and father's names.
These lovely stories were a way to tell the past of Spike and how his character came to being. I do hope everyone enjoyed the read and would like to comment on it. All comments are welcome.
