#1 of 'Next Generation Academy'

One day soon I will turn this into a script. The character names and furry aspects will be removed and replaced with newer, more exciting personalities and it will take place in a world populated by humans. This is a rough draft. I post this to receive feedback, and in hope of finding someone who wants to help write the script. My dream is to have it recognized by Netflix, because this story has a lot of depth!

=======================================================================================================

Next Generation Academy, the school for gifted furs, is where this tale takes place. Next Generation Academy, better know as NGA, is a school for furs with special abilities. Each fur that enrolled could do one of eight things; control fire, wind, water, earth, lighting, shadow aura, light aura, or both light and shadow which was called Twilight powers. It was early one morning atleast five and the sun was just setting over the horizon beaming a few faint rays upon a large massive campus known as NGA.

The campus was huge, holding six swimming pools, two tennis courts, a skate park and four very large buildings placed at each end of the square campus and one larger buiding in the center of it all. Three of the ones on the ends are used for classrooms, the last of the end buildings is used for special essemblies held by the school every Friday. The largest of them all was used for teachers, staff, and students to stay, their dorms one might say. Also in the building is where the principle office is at and where the cafeteria was held.

The rays of the newly born sun cascaded through the window of one particular dorm room. The room was very small containing a dresser right below the window; a closet that was stationed right behind the door; two beds, each containing a nightstand beside them. In one of the beds lied a sixteen year old, black wolf who was on his back staring at the ceiling. The wolf was known as Legend, but his real name is Ace. He looked at the other bed just a couple feet away from him and sighed in relief; he was lucky and glad to have himself a private room this year at NGA, not many furs was able to get one but he was very well connected.

The room was quiet and peaceful, just the way Ace wanted it to be. He continued to lay there motionless till a buzzing sound to the side of him broke the silence, making him shift over to his side and grab a cell phone from the nightstand that was only an inch away. He picked the phone up and flipped it open without checking the caller ID to see who was calling.

"Hello?" Ace said in a tired sigh.

"Hey, Wolfy." Said an excited voice. "How's it goin"

Ace could recognize this voice even in a crowded area, it was, Dean, one of his best friends. A smile appeared across the wolf's face as he replied, "Heh nothing much yiff boy. Everything is going well here, what about you?"

"Good, good. I have a new roommate. He's pretty damn hot to."

"You should introduce me to him sometime."

"Hehe sure thing. Ummm.... I didn't call you to talk about guys, I called to tell you that the Principle wants you to speak at the Welcoming Assembly today, Mister Spight team captain." Dean snickered.

Ace sighed. "O-ok."

"Hehe, don't worry to much about it, I have to get up and introduce myself to since I'm the President this year."

There was a brief pause in the conversation. "Umm..Dean..." Ace started. "About last year, I'm umm...." The wolf was staggering to find the words he wanted to say to his friend but couldn't find them.

"It's no big deal, Ace. I totally understand." The fox said.

Ace positioned himself so that he was sitting at the foot of his bed now. Hearing that from the fox comforted him a little so that he could get his next words out. "Ok....I guess I'll see you later?"

"Yup. See ya in hmm.... first block." The little fox said with glee in his voice. They said their goodbyes and hung up. The wolf sat there thinking about his eventful past but soon was hit by a bulldozer feeling in his stomach as the thought of him having to speak in front of the school that afternoon lingered in from the shadows.

He stood up and let out a long, dramatic, tiresome sigh. Well I guess I should get ready for school. He thought, walking to his closet to take out his uniform he had to wear for the next 180 days.

~~~~~~~
In a room that looked very similar to Ace's; containing a dresser right below the window; a closet that was stationed right behind the door; two beds, each containing a nightstand beside them, but the only thing that was different was that this room was filled with books of all sorts. This room was none other than Dean Sonders, a red fox with white fur coating his chest and he had black socks on his paws and foot paws. A unique thing about ,Dean, is that he has a crescent shaped moon on his chest; no one know how it got there but the little fox always felt special for having it.
There were books everywhere in the little fox's room, well one side at least. You see, Dean is a really smart vulpine, he moved up a couple grades putting him with Ace and other juniors. Even though he is sort of a nerd, he's incredibly strong.
Dean shut his phone and slid it in his pocket. "Ace you worry too much." He said to himself.
"You know, Ace?" A deep voice said from across the room, in the bed mirroring Dean's. Yipping, the fox jumped up to see his new roommate wide awake. A tan, very muscular, and intimidating wolf lied in bed with his eyes closed. This wolf was Douglas Darkfang. He was new to this school and was spending his senor, last, year here at Next Generation Academy. He turned to face Dean and opened his eyes to see a shocked little fox across the room. "Well..."
"mmmhumm...I've known h-him for quite a while..." Dean words tripped over themselves a little. This was the first time he heard his roommate speak. "Why do you wanna know?" The fox questioned.
The room was quiet for a couple seconds. After the brief wait the wolf breathed in deeply. "Cause I hear he's the captain of the Spight team." Now the wolf sat up strait and glared at the Dean with a lustful gleam in his eyes. "So you think I'm hot, huh?"
Dean blushed, a crimson red. Damn. He thought. I didn't know he was listening in on my conversation. "Well yea...and if you didn't know, I'm gay." said Dean, turning his head from the wolf to stare at the wall. A paw was gently placed upon Dean's shoulder making him jump a little. He looked up to be greeted with a friendly smile. "How tha...."
"Heh, don't ask." The wolf chuckled. "It's cool cause I am too." The wolf smile widened. "I'm sorry if I've been rude lately, I just didn't think furs will accept me here but seeing that you're...you know, makes me feel a little more comfortable. My name's Douglas, Douglas Darkfang."
The fox, now in shook, sat there silently. Guys usually didn't just come out to anyone and this one guy, that Dean just officially met, exposed his secret with ease. "S-so you're gay?" Dean asked Douglas.
"Yup." The wolf replied still smiling. Dean continued to stare up at the 6'4 wolf. "I'm sure there isn't a problem with that. Is there?"
"No, no, no." Dean replied quickly. "It's just that usually furs don't just come out to just anyone, if you know what I mean."
Douglas thought about it and said, "I know what you mean, but I pretty much know who you are already. You're Dean Sonders...you're fifteen, the schools top student, and you're a fox. Hehe." The wolf chuckled as he looked at the now astonished fox.
"You're right." Dean said defeated. "Hey what's your attribute?"
"Lightning. Yours?"
" Earth. That figures. I should've known by how fast and silently you got over here." Dean smiled. Douglas removed his paw from the foxes shoulder and returned to his bed. "Before we go any further, can I ask why you wanted to know if I knew Ace?"
"Sure. I need to talk to him."
"About?"
"About me joining the Spight team." Douglas answered.
The vulpine jumped up. "You're going to try to be on the team too?" Dean said excitedly. "It would be nice having another g..." He paused, not saying another word, he sat down on his bed and turned away from Douglas.
Douglas sat there silently, not knowing what to say next. He too say something; he was curious to what the fox was about to say. "Umm, Dean. Are there others.....you know like us...here?"
"You know, we should really start to get ready for school." Dean said, trying to change the subject as quickly as possible.
Now Douglas was getting a little frustrated; he really wanted to know more about this topic and was willing to do anything to apprehend the knowledge from his new friend. Dean stood up, then stretched his arms out. Douglas sat there watching the little fox, when he came up with an idea. Grinning, he stood up and in a blink of an eye, he was right in front of Dean, as he was opening his eyes. Dean, startled, jumped back. A paw reach out and grabbed Dean's paw and forcefully pulled him into a big, strong, furry chest.
Dean was appalled by how fast the wolf could move. He looked up to see a pair of amber eyes gazing down at him. Dean gazed back into the wolf's eyes; looking into Douglas eyes was like being washed away slowly in a calm yellow river, it was so soothing to Dean.
Douglas started stroking the vulpine back very gently, triggering a few moans of sheer pleasure from the young fox. He chuckled. Seeing his plan was working, he decided to go on a little further. He leaned down so that the two muzzles were half an inch apart.
"You like this?" Douglas whispered. Dean could only nod. "Good. Now be a good little boy and answer my question.
Dean stood limp in the arms of the strong wolf. "Y-yes sir..." The fox squeezed out. "There i-is a-another guy I-I...." The fox trailed off with a murr from the sensational feeling the wolf was giving him as his back was still being rubbed.
"Who is it?" Douglas smiled.
Dean was still having trouble speaking while being caressed. He forced out his last sentence. "I-its, A-A-Ace."
Douglas had a surprised look slapped across his face. Out of all the guys here, Ace, the Spight team captain, was a queer. Douglas seen Ace once, and that was yesterday; He looked more like the jock type instead of a tail raiser or a tail banger. No one would have ever suspected this from him, with him being so high up in class.
"So...Ace huh?" Douglas said, taking a step back. "Who would've guessed?" The wolf snickered.
The little fox snapped back into reality. "What do you mean by that?" He said, getting a little defensive over his friend.
"Hehe. You're taking it the wrong way." The wolf said, waving his paws in front of him. "It's just Ace doesn't seem like....that kind of person...."
"Well he is and if you tell ANYONE, I'll rip your throat out." Dean hissed. He now felt bad for what he'd just done. Being toyed with to get information was always one of his pet peeves.
The big wolf stood up. He flexed his magnificent muscles, then all of sudden he vanished, again. Reappearing behind Dean, he leaned down and whispered, "You shouldn't make such big threats..." He giggled. "...Heh, I bet you didn't see..."
"This coming.." Dean interrupted before clapping his hands together. Little grains of sand started to float in mid air and circled around the two in a mini vortex. The grains of sand rotation increased, making it hard to see through the vortex. The gold dust stopped and in seconds large cone shaped sand domes stretched out pointing at the two furs in the middle. "Never underestimate the smartest kid in school." Dean grinned.
Douglas, now wide-eyed, stepped closer to Dean, pressing their bodies together to get away from the point tips. "H-how did all of this sand get in here?" He asked, amazed.
"You see..." Dean started, still grinning. "Since I have the Earth attribute I keep small bags of sand with me at all time. Each day I refill my bags...I usually keep at least three with me and before a fight or when I know when trouble is lurking around, I dump my little bags out not letting my enemy see me do it." Dean finished explaining his brilliant fighting tactic.
Douglas was still amazed and somewhat confused. The whole time they were talking, not one time did he see Dean dump any sand out. "When did you pour it out then? I never saw you pull out a bag."
"Hehe. I see you're not the observing type...I knew you was going to try and pull something so when I was stretching, I took out the bag...you was pretty fast so I couldn't dump it out when I wanted to.
When you grabbed me I just dropped the bag and it spilled hehe..." Dean pointed at a spot where sand was and it opened up to reveal a string holding several small packages. Inside the little packages was sand Dean had gathered. Each sac was brown with a silver crescent moon shaped symbol in the middle. Along the string were at most fifteen bags. "I've prepared many bags planning for the future."
Douglas couldn't believe he had missed seeing all the sacs full of sand.
"So what's your next move?" Dean asked.
The now defeated wolf sighed; He knew that there was no way to beat Dean, seeing that he was trapped. Another reason why he didn't stand a chance was because Earth had a slight advantage over Lightning.
Any and every possible way of victory was blocked.
"You win." Douglas let out a sere sigh. Dean did the same and all the sand retreated, every grain pulling together and slithering into one of the sac -the one that the sand had come from-. Dean walked over to pick up the sac. He tied a string around the opening, recapping it, and then he threw it to the side.
"I always do." The fox chuckled. "Now if you don't mind, I really do need to get ready for school. I have a very important speech to go over and a lot of books to carry around so I might need to leave early."
He pointed at a very large number of books in a corner beside his bed.
Examining the fox, then the books, Douglas knew what Dean meant. There were a lot of books for just one small fox to carry.
Even though Dean was smart and powerful, he lacked 'muscle'. His body was slim and slender, the body a cub. Although his body looked of a cub, it was very cute. Dean never liked working out; anyone who knew him would always find him reading or improving his Earth skills. He had a unique way of doing things, mixing books smart and his element; he was a master at tactical things. Anyone who fought him one-on-one in a fair fight would definitely lose.
"I could....umm....carry your books for you." Douglas suggested, scratching the back of his head fur.
"Sure..." The fox chuckled. "Start getting ready cause I am leaving early..."
"For what?" Douglas asked.
"Well I'm the school president..." Dean walked over to his closet. "Extra stuff to do plus I have to write a speech." He sighed and started getting ready for school. It didn't take him long to get ready. Wearing a green shirt with the letters NGH and black pants, the fox was all set up in their schools uniform. He hated these colors; the green didn't look right with his orange fur and the black pants made it hard to see his feet paws. Dean sighed and turned to see Douglas, fully dressed. Douglas's uniform was slightly different, different meaning the shirts were not the same; Douglas's shirt was a gold yellow with the same letters on his shirt as Dean's, and under the letters, there was a rainbow star representing that Douglas was a senior. The two uniforms were different simply because the two were in a different grade. The school consisted of 5 grades; Freshmen, furs thirteen years of age; Sophomore, fourteen years of age; Middlemen, fifteen years of age; Juniors, sixteen years of age; Seniors, 17 years of age. Freshmen wore white shirts, Sophomores wore bright blue shirts, Middlemen wore dark blue shirts, Juniors wore green shirts, and Seniors wore goldish yellow shirts. This year, Dean, was a Junior and Douglas a senior.
Douglas looked back to notice the fox looking at him then he faintly smiled. "I'm all ready." Douglas said.
"Same here." Dean said, grabbing his back then leaning over to grab his books before he was stopped. He looked up and saw Douglas bending down, grasping the fox's books.
"I told you I'll carry your books." The wolf said, with all of the fox's books in his arms pressed against his chest.
Dean giggled. "Thank you...this saves me a lot of time...you really don't know how much I appre..."
"Don't worry about it. Anything for a friend." Douglas said, cutting Dean off. He looked around the pile mountain of books he was carrying and smiled.
Dean blushed from being called a friend.
"May we get going?" Douglas asked. The fox nodded and rushed to the door opening it for his friend. Douglas re-adjusted his grip on the books then began to walk. Dean closed the door to their dorm, locked it, and then proceeded with his friend to their destination.
~~~~~~~

It was now 7:30, thirty minutes before school started. The morning sun was slowly rising; birds were chirping, and cool, end of the summer, breezes swept across NGA's campus and into the Forest behind the school. The forest wasn't that deep, stretching 10 miles from the school to a road that lead to Tisdale city.

About three miles into the forest, there was an otter lying at the bottom of a large oak tree. This fur was known as Tom, a 5'6 fourteen year old otter that had a creamy brown fur coating his face, arms, side, tail, and the outer part of his legs; the rest of him, his chest and the inner parts of his legs, were a white shade. Tom was wearing a bright blue, unbuttoned shirt with his sleeves rolled up and black pants; he was obviously a student attending NGA.

The otty lied there motionless. A few rays from the sun pierced through the tall trees and beamed down onto his chest, giving off a shimmery light. The light bounced off his chest to make his fur shine like little diamond fragments had been placed on the otty's chest.

Tom's peaceful state was broken when a pinecone hit him on the muzzle. He jumped up, now frustrated.

"Stop fucking around, Jason." He looked up to see a small fox hanging upside down from a tree branch. The fox legs straighten his legs; he fell from the tree, doing a front flip before landing on the ground.

"Show off." Tom whispered under his breath.

The fox giggled.

The fox, Jason, wasn't showing off, it was just how he did things. Jason was a fourteen year old white fox, with hazel eyes, and white fur covering his whole body. He was 5'2 with very little muscle; he had muscle but it wasn't that noticeable. Jason was a new student; even though he is fourteen, he is a junior. Excelling in every class while attending regular school, he was handpicked by NGA's Principle, to join his school.

Jason looked down at his watch. "We should get going." He said calmly.

"What time is it?" asked Tom.

"Time for you to get a watch..." Jason screamed before jetting off into the forest, leaving Tom.

Tom sighed and started to sprint in the direction Jason went. Tom ran through the forest trying to get a view on Jason, but the only thing he could see was the white tail of the fox in a hypnotic motion. The otty knew he wouldn't be able to catch Jason but he kept forward. He ran through the forest, full speed, without stopping one time, dodging tree branches, rocks and other natural objects that lied around in the forest. The forest seemed like it would never end. Every tree, every stone looked the same. It felt as if the two were going in a circle. Finally they found their way out still running till they reach the campus's center building.

When they had gotten there, they were greeted by a swarm of students rushing out the main building. It was now 7:50. Classes were starting in ten minutes. The two friends said their goodbyes and headed off to different buildings. Jason reaches into his back pocket and pulled out his class schedule. Opening it he looked at his first period class. He had The Study of Attributes: Year 4. He looked at the room number then placed it back into his pocket.

When he arrived, he walked into the class room to be welcomed with stares from everyone that was already in the classroom. He knew why they were staring; out of all the students there he was the only one that wore a long sleeved uniform. He quickly walked to a desk that was seated all the way in the back.

It wasn't long after Jason arrived when the teacher came in. A black cat walked into the room. 'She' walked straight to the board. Picking up a marker she wrote 'The Study of Attributes' directly in the center of the board in black marker. She turned to face the class, "Everyone...My name is Professor Tumminelo and I will be your SOA teacher for this semester. I'm going to go ahead and warn all of you that if you do not study for my class....you will FAIL! I give homework every night, pop quizzes are like a daily thing and you will have a test every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Fail to present yourself those days and you will receive a zero..." She walked to her desk and pulled out a stack of papers. "Since today is Monday, you all will have test. Get out a pencil and clear your desk." She instructed.

The whole class moaned. The black cat walked around the class putting papers on each desk then walked back to the front of the class.

"You may begin." She said.

Jason sighed deeply. He looked beside his desk and noticed that he had forgotten his backpack in the forest. Sighing again, he turned to the fur next to him, a black wolf, and said, "Excuse me may I borrow a pencil?"

The wolf turned to face Jason, and when he did, he caught sight of Jason's Hazel eyes. The wolf just sat there, starring into the rainbow eyes.

Jason giggled to himself quietly.

"Earth to, Wolfie." Jason teased.

The wolf snapped out of his gazing session. He quickly turned around then he turned back around handing Jason a pencil.

"Thanks." Jason said.

"No problem." The wolf whispered. "By the way, my name is Ace."

Jason blushed.

"My name's Jason, I'm new here." Jason explained.

"NO TALKING!" The Professor boomed, making the two face forward.

The test took up the rest of the class period. Jason finished his test first. After he placed it on the Professor's desk, she quickly checked it and stood up.

"Jason...this...this is...AMAZING! No one has ever finished this test as quick as you have and made a perfect score." She said congratulating him. "Mr. Sonders, you might have some competition this year."

She looked at a red fox sitting beside Ace.

Jason sat in the back blushing beet red.

Ace gave him the thumbs up, but the fox beside Ace glared at Jason making him look down quickly.

Class finally ended. Everyone was walking out the classroom depressed. When Jason was exciting the door, he was stopped by Ace.

"What's up?" Jason asked.

"Umm well you know how you said you were new earlier..."

"No. I'm ok I can find my way around here." Jason said.

"Well do you wanna hang out sometime?" Ace asked, pushing his back pack up.

"Sure." Jason said, smiling.

"Ok. Cool. My dorm is room 2A..."

"Wow. You must be really important to have that room." Jason said.

"No...I'm just the Spight team captain." Ace said, scratching the back of his head.

"Huh? What's a Spight team?" Jason wore a confused look on his face.

Ace was shocked. "Y-you don't know what the Spight team is? Please tell me you are kidding."

"I'm serious. When I said I'm new I mean I'm new. This is my first year attending a school like this. I would have attended earlier but I didn't know it was such a thing. I knew I wasn't normal when I stumbled across my powers when I was 7." Jason explained.

"Oh...ok....well I guess I'll explain to you what a Spight team is. Hey what class do you have next?" Ace asked.

Jason picked around in his pocket then pulled out his schedule, for the second time. "I have...lets see...Chemistry."

Ace thought about it then shrugged, "I guess It wouldn't hurt if I walked you to your next class....I'll just say I was helping the new kid." Ace winked at the fox causing Jason to blush.

"O-ok." Jason said.

"Well," Ace started as they began to walk. "The Spight team is a sport. Let's start with the basics, k?" Jason nodded. "You can only have 12 members on the team, age doesn't matter. We compete against other schools..."

"They're other schools?" Jason interrupted.

"Yes. We are one of 7 different schools. A school is on each continent." Ace answered. "Moving on...the game is set up like a tournament. We pick 4 people to fight in one game. They fight an opponent and who ever run out of their four players first...lose."

They walked outside. The sun sent heat waves down to attack the furs making everyone run around except Ace and Jason who continued to walk in their same pace. They strolled pass the second largest building on campus. Ace pointed at it. "That building right there is where we hold our assemblies and where the Spight meets are held." Ace explained.

"Cool." The fox said, with a bounce in his step.

Ace noticed the way Jason walked and giggled to himself.

Jason blushed and they continued to walk. When they arrived, they stood in front of the class room door.

"I guess I'll chat with ya later." Ace said, holding out his paw.

Jason grabbed his paw. "Yea. Thanks for helping the new kid." Jason said with smile planted across his muzzle.

Ace giggled. "Bye."

"Bye." Jason said before entering the classroom.

~~~~~~
Ace didn't make it to class on time. He was half-way there when the bell rung. He rolled his eyes and continued to walk to his next class. The way there, he had one thing on his mind, Jason. The new fur made Ace feel a certain way he never felt before, loved. He didn't know why he felt this way but the feeling was absolutely there.
Ace made it to class five minutes late. The teacher, an older male turtle, asked him where he had been and Ace explained the situation to the turtle.
"I was showing a new kid to his class Mr. ummm." Ace stumbled around his memory trying to remember the teacher's name.
"Mr. Shell." The turtle said, helping Ace.
"Oh sorry, Mr. Shell." Ace said, scratching the back of his head. The turtle nodded and Ace went to his seat. Ace's second period class was Trig. He pulled out a pencil and a couple sheets of paper for notes then waited for the turtle to begin.
Mr. Shell went to his desk. On top of his desk was a variety of things: pencils, pens, an artificial apple, three pictures of young furs which were obviously previous students of his, and a stack of papers. He grabbed the papers and placed them on a desk that faced the students.
"Everyone, come get a syllabus. This will contain everything we're going to be doing August, September, October, November, and December." Mr. Shell explained. Students dragged themselves out of their desks. When furs picked up the syllabus, they gasped out of shock. The syllabus felt like a short book. Furs started flipping through it, each one having a disappointed look on their faces. "The syllabus, also obtain the class room rules, your supply list, and the class requirements. I would go over it with you but as you can see it's a pretty big syllabus." The turtle joked, well at least he tried to because he didn't get any laughs, not even a chuckle.
Ace flipped through the syllabus. After the quick read over, he let out dragged out sigh then placed the syllabus in his back pack.
Class finally began. Most of the class period consisted on notes. Trig was a lot of work; having to copy and remember all of the formulas was very difficult, but it seemed like the students were in good paws. Mr. Shell broke everything down to so that everyone had a chance to truly understand. Each step, each equation was broken down to its simplest form. After notes, Mr.
Shell wrote an assignment on the board that had to be turned in the upcoming day. Every fur in the room was upset; having to do homework wasn't the way they wanted to end their first day of school.
Ace opened his book, turning it to the page that had to be done. He rushed through the problems getting most of them wrong and some right. It wasn't like Ace to get problems wrong, but something or someone was on his mind. The thought of Jason floated around in his. Ace finished the homework ten minutes before the bell. He raised his paw.
"Yes, Ace?" Mr. Shell said.
"Since I'm showing a new student around I would like to ask if I can leave early so I can go get him...I finished my homework so I could if that's ok with you sir." Ace stated.
"Yes you may." Mr. Shell said.
Ace picked his stuff up and quickly left. On the way he stopped for a quick pit stop then he made his way to the building Jason was located. He made it to Jason's class early.
The bell rang two minutes after Ace arrived.
Jason walked out his class to find Ace leaning against a wall.
Ace walked up to Jason. "How was Chemistry?" Ace asked.
"Long. What about Trig." Jason asked.
"G-good I guess." Ace replied.
Ace now had a worried look on his face. He never told Jason he had Trig. How did he know I had Trig? Did I tell him before I dropped him off -No! I never told him anything so how did he know? This is creepy. Ace thought.
Jason inched away from Ace a little worried as well. Ace seen this and scooted closer to Jason.
"What's your next class?" Jason asked
"I think it's umm....self defense." Ace said, unsure of his answer.
"Seriously," Jason asked. "That's so cool cause I have it to."
"Wow that's strange." Ace smiled. He was excited he had another class with his newly discovered friend.
"Yea," Jason said. "So what's Self Defense?"
"You really are clueless." Ace chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "It's really self explanatory...we just learn how to fight without using our powers."
"That sounds.....fun..." Jason said.
Jason and Ace walked to their class which was being held outside this year in a special area near the forest. Not many furs were in the class; there were thirteen students including Ace and
Jason. Ace and Jason walked up to the teacher of the class, a Tiger that wore a martial arts outfit, and introduced themselves.
"Hello, I'm Ace and this is my friend Jason." Ace introduced him and Jason.
"It's nice to meet you too, I'm Mr. Young. Today we are not going to be doing much of anything so you will not have to change into your uniforms. Class will be cut short and you there will be no fourth period today..." Mr. Young explained.
"Why?" Ace asked.
"The assembly today will take up a lot of time...they have a special fight prepared today."
"Who's fighting?" Jason asked.
"We don't know. Principle Charles said it will be a really good on..." Mr. Young was saying before a voice behind him, cut him off.
"Mr. Young, Mr. Young." A 5'11 grey wolf known as Jacob Carter yelled, running toward the group.
"How's my top student." asked Mr. Young.
Jacob blushed. The tiger wasn't lying; he was the most talented fur at the school when it came to martial arts. He surpassed Mr. Young, mastering techniques that even the older tiger couldn't learn. Mr. Young was disappointed because this year was his favorite student's last one.
"I'm doing well...I just need to ask if you know who's going to be fighting today?" Jacob asked.
"Not a clue." Mr. Young answered.
"How's it going, Jacob?" Ace asked.
"Sup, Ace, nothing much just around." Jacob replied, looking over to Jason. "Hey I have never seen you here before."
Ace threw his arm around Jason's neck, "This is my good friend, Jason. He's new to the school."
"He is, huh?" Jacob leaned in closer to Jason. "So what's ya attribute?"
"M-my a-attribute?" Jason asked, stumbling over his words.
"Yea, like fire, water, air, earth, solar, shadow, or aura..."
"W-well I'm air..." Jason answered, softly.
"Sweet, me too!" Jacob jumped up excitedly. "Hey I have an idea...how about we have a practice fight just a little one."
Jason looked the grey wolf over and shook his head, "I don't think so. You might think I'm dumb since I am the new student but you're wrong. I know you are a great martial arts master...to tell you the truth I wouldn't stand a chance if we fought right now." Jason smirked. Really he wouldn't stand a chance against me. Jason thought
"Heh, I guess you couldn't trick this newbie." Ace laughed.
"I guess not." Jacob rolled his eyes.
"So, Jacob, are you joining the team this year? I could really use your skills this year." Ace said.
"Ummm I don't know, Ace."
"Com' on, it wouldn't be the same without ya." Ace begged.
"I'll sleep on it." Jacob said.
Ace sighed.
"Ok." Ace said, dropping the subject.
Self Defense class wasn't as dreadful as the other classes; there was no homework nor were there any test. The rest of the period Jason and Ace talked about random stuff like their favorite foods, movies, games, and future plans. The two grew closer and closer as they learned more about each other.
Third period ended with the bell. Jason and Ace got up and headed for the Spight meet building. Since they were already outside, it didn't take them long to get there; the two were the first students there.
The Spight meet building wasn't a building; it was more like a stadium or a coliseum. The whole structure was shaped like an oval. Around the coliseum, was where the furs were to be seated and in the middle of the oval shaped structure, stretched as long as 150 yards and 100 yards wide. All of the space in the middle was for fighting but at the moment, there were speakers and microphones set up, already for the assembly.
They walked in.
"Well I gotta go give a speech." Ace said, followed by a sigh.
"Good luck."
"Thanks."
Ace went to the back of the coliseum to prepare for his speech. As soon as he left, the seats over-flowed with students. Ace continued to the back where he met Dean, who was also getting ready to speak. Dean wasn't wearing his school uniform; instead he was had on a nice black suit occupied by a red tie.
Ace walked in and went straight to the bathroom. He turned on a sink then placed his paw in splashing some on his face. Grabbing some paper towels, he wiped his face off and then looked in the mirror to see Dean standing behind him. Ace sighed and turned around.
Dean walked up to Ace and placed a paw on his friends shoulder. "Calm down it's just a speech." Dean chuckled.
Ace rolled his eyes and turned back to face the mirror, his friends words wasn't reassuring. "I HATE SPEAKING IN FRONT OF FUCKING FURS!" Ace yelled.
"Chill out, Ace." Dean said, patting his wolf friend on the back. "Relax, ok?"
Ace couldn't relax. He always fought in front of people, once even fought for over three million furs pleasure but speaking wasn't his thing. Dean looked the wolf over then an idea popped up in his head.
"If you won't calm down...then I'll have to calm you down myself..." The fox said in a seductive voice. Dean grabbed a hold of the wolf's tail and jerked it as hard as he could.
Ace let out an ear piercing howl. He turned around to punch the fox for doing such a horrible thing to him but when he turned around Dean ducked and Dean's nose hit Ace's sheath. Ace closed his eyes and shivered.
Dean unbuttoned the wolf's pants. They dropped down.
"W-what are you doing?" Ace leaned against the faucet behind him.
"Hush puppy." Dean said, groping the wolf.
