#1 of Finding atlantis

OK, just so you arn't left hanging with nothing fuzzy to think about, here is the second chapter.

It's tagged M/F but there is nothing hardcore yet, just enough that I didn't want to post it as clean.

Finding Atlantis.

"Hey, I found something!" I heard someone shouting, but the voice seemed fuzzy and far away. "Turk, you better come look at this." I heard more shouting, it sounded like it was getting closer. I tried to open my eyes but as soon as I did my head exploded in pain. Instinctively, I tried to lift my hand up but I couldn't move. Alarmed, I realized that I had no choice but to fight through the pain and take a look around me. Forcing my eyes open I saw that directly in front of me was the dash of a spacecraft which was mangled beyond recognition, pressing down on me and pinning my hands to my sides. Then it all came flooding back. I had crashed.

I was testing a new hyper-drive but there had been a problem. When I tried to engage the hyper-drive, instead of jumping me from one side of the base to the other, it 'jumped' me straight into the ground.

I looked out the hole where the windshield used to be but I wasn't quite ready for what I saw. As I looked up, a fox was staring right at me, big as life and about two feet from my face! Well, it looked kind of like a fox but it was as big as me! Plus the front paws weren't really paws, more like fur covered hands oppose-able thumbs and all. It also had intense green eyes, which as far as I knew foxes didn't have. Then, suddenly, I had a thought. This looked just like the things my art major roommate use to draw. I froze, looking at it, not even blinking, wondering how smart it was. It seemed to be inspecting me, eying me over like a doctor looks over a patient. Then in impeccable English the fox asked "Can you understand me?"

"What?" I thought out loud. I was still trying to add things up in my mind.

"Can you hear me?" the fox asked again. Its voice was high and soft, decidedly feminine sounding.

"Yeah." I answered. I said this as much to hear my own voice as I did to answer the, uh, being in front of me. Then I heard another voice coming from some distance away. "Ariana, what do you see."

She looked back over her shoulder and said, "He is still alive but it will take a while to get him out."

"Be quick, there are patrols in the aria." the voice threw back.

Then the fox turned back to me. "Please forgive this." she said. Then she put her palm on my forehead. My head started to tingle, my vision blurred, and suddenly I was lying in a bed, in a small room.

I lay there, not moving, just looking at the room around me. It was small, about the size of a hospital room, sparse, and simple. There were wood plank walls, the ceiling was bare rafters and the floor was dirt. There was a small table and two chairs in the corner next to the door, the small window across from the bed was shuttered; the only light came from a candle on the table. I began to sit up to get a better look around, and when I did I noticed two things, one was that something big was in the bead beside me, the other was that something was stuck to the front of my face, when I crossed my eyes I could just see it. I brought a hand out from under the covers to inspect the thing on my face and got another surprise. It was covered in a dark fur! My eyes ran down my arm, following the fur to my chest and, upon throwing the covers off, all the way down twisted looking legs to my toes! I jumped up, screaming, and promptly collapsed. My legs didn't work anymore! I rolled over and started to drag myself toward the door but I was intercepted by the lump on the bead beside me, which turned out to be another fuzzy monster just like me. It pinned me down with ease and started yelling at me. "Just calm down! Relax, you are alright!" that voice, that was the voice that I heard earlier. My eyes locked with hers and I froze. Those peculiar green eyes were boring into me. They were full of shock.

"You are fine," she continued, not shouting now.

"Fine!" I shouted, still on the verge of hysteria. "Look at me! Do I look 'fine' to you! What are you! What did you do to me?!" She wrapped her hand around my nose and held my mouth shut."Quiet!" she hissed. Then grinning, she added "I think you turned out nice."

I narrowed my eyes at her, hoping to show some kind of displeasure at being held hostage like this. "Look," she said. "There are four more people coming, a Horse, a wolf and two cats. I am sure they herd you shouting and they will be here any minute." she said quietly. "If I let you up will you sit still and be quiet?" I nodded, and slowly she got got up off me and sat down on the bed. I looked at her legs. They were the same as mine. Not really mangled, just different, like the back legs of a dog.

"Are you going to get up." she asked. "They are almost here."

"I can't. They don't work." I said motioning to my legs.

"Oh," she chuckled, "no, you just do not know how to use them. Give me your hand."

She grabbed my hand and I waited for her to pull me up but instead she just closed her eyes. I felt her palm grow warm and a tingle shot up my arm to the base of my neck. I tried to pull away but she just held on tighter.

After a few seconds she let go and the tingle faded. I looked at her suspiciously. "I gave you my set of motor skills." she explained. "Now you subconsciously know how to walk. try to stand up but don't think about how to. Just do it." I leaned forward and stood up. Somehow my body just knew what to do. I was standing but still a little shaky. "You still need to develop your own abilities, but it will give you a place to start."

Suddenly the door burst open and a wolf ran in. I jumped clear over the bed, fox and all, and landed, on the other side. I scrambled to my feetonce more, hiding behind the bed. "Ariana, What is it? I came as soon as..."the wolf paused as his eyes landed on me. "He is awake!" Turk said looking back at the fox... Wait. That wolf is Turk. He can be a bit tough at times, but he makes a great leader. Wait, what?

Even without inspecting him closely I knew all the specifics about his appearance. He was six foot six with steel gray fur and deep blue eyes. He was closely followed by a horse and two cats. All with the same basic body structure as me the fox and the wolf. I knew them all as well.

The horse was Janis, Turks mate. She was huge every bit of seven foot tall and built like a professional wrestler. She was the second in command and acted as a mother to the team. The two cats were Athena and Corinth. Athena was all black and fearless. Her twin brother was Corinth, he was a solid light gray, and he was a healer. "How do I know them?" I wondered out loud.

"I sent you their schemas with the motor skills. " the green eyed fox answered. "I thought that since we knew you that you should know us."

"You know you shouldn't do that."Corinth cut in.

"Just basic information so he could recognize you." The fox defended herself.

"Well," the cat thought for a second. "I suppose it's necessary." He replied.

"Ariana," Turk the wolf spoke up again. "you are in charge of his training. like we agreed." She nodded quickly.

"As for the rest of you," The wolf addressed the three behind him. "I suggest we all get back to sleep. I know you all want to get to know Adam, but he needs some time to adjust. This is a big change for him, and you all still have guard rotation tomorrow. Let Ariana bring him up to speed first."

With that the wolf walked out the door. Janis followed him after a quick good night to me. I got similar remarks from the cat twins as they left. I was glad they were gone. Not that I didn't like them, but Turk had hit the nail on the head when he said I needed time to adjust. A man can only handle so much at a time and I was dangerously close to my breaking point.

"You need to relax." Ariana said, once we were alone.

"Yeah, just relax," I sighed. "Everything will be fine!"

"It will, you will like it here." she said, but she wouldn't look at me.

"So, why do I look like this now?" I wanted to know.

"It is part of the Atlantian virus." she answered. "It is a naturally occurring virus that modifies your DNA, but instead of making your tissue worse it improves your bodies design. We are stronger and faster than any human, and there are a lot of things we can do that earth people cannot.

"Earth people?" I asked incredulously, "Am I really not on earth?"

"You are on Atlantis." She said simply.

"Like under the ocean Atlantis?"

"No, a completely different planet." she brightened a little. "the only way to get here is through the tesseract."

"The tesseract?" I asked.

"It connects our planet to yours. It moves around, but most of the time it is in what you call the Bermuda triangle. Here it lies near the capitol city of Cains."

For the rest of the night we sat and talked like old friends. she was surprisingly easy to talk to. Even when she told me that the changes to my body were permanent. I would never be able to go back. It didn't upset me like I thought it should. I knew she was right. I would just be a freak if I went back now. I could never live a normal life on earth again. However Ariana was able to keep me distracted with an amazing story of how the first Atlantians found their way to Atlantis. Apparently, Columbus's lost ship, the Santa Maria was never sunk. It found it's way through a natural tesseract and ran aground on Atlantis. For a time the crew traded with nearby Indian tribes. Going back across this natural bridge between worlds. After a while more white settlers came and started shooting Atlantians on sight. Eventually, they stopped coming back; cut themselves off from earth, and lived separately, except of course for the odd human who wandered into the tesseract.

As she talked, I found myself falling into those startling eyes that never seemed to leave me. She was a very animated speaker. Her face would flicker from one emotion to another as she wove her way through the history of how Atlantis came to be. I let my eyes wander, casually inspecting my new body and comparing it to hers; we had the same basic coloring. Ruddy-brown - I was slightly darker - with a white stripe down our fronts and black socks on our feet, hands, and tail. (Yeah, I had a tail for almost an hour and didn't even notice!)

My chest wasn't as wide as it use to be and hers was just slightly smaller than mine with the exception of two breasts which might have been a bit small on a human, but fit her body perfectly, just about hidden by her fur. Her arms, like mine, were long and lanky, but I could tell they were incredibly strong. Our hands were nearly identical with black pads poking through the fur on our palms and front of our fingers. Even Our fingernails were closer to claws than nails.

Continuing down the body I compared her rock hard stomach to my own. I was surprised to see mine almost equally fit. For the first time in my life I had a six pack, and I hadn't done anything to get it! Then my eye was drawn down to where her white stomach patch terminated in a small white tuft of thicker fur, forcing me to imagine what might be underneath. I had to check myself though because I looked down at, well I guess it was now a sheath. I could just see my penis starting to peek out so I pulled my legs up and idly played with the claws on my right foot. They were kind of what you'd expect. Four clawed toes, with the same black pads. My foot was a good bit smaller and my ankle wasn't where it should be.

Suddenly I realized that Ariana had quit talking, so I looked up. She was watching me intently. "Do you like your new legs?"She asked.

"I think they will be quite a bit faster than my old ones." I said. I knew enough of physics to tell that I would be a lot faster now.

Ariana grabbed my ankle and started to work her way up. "I think you will be surprised." she said as she felt her way past my knee. Her hands felt so good, all warm and soft. I caught my breath and she looked up. When she saw my shaft, which was now about half erect, she dropped my leg and slid back. "I am sorry." she stuttered, "I was not thinking." I watched as the fur in her cheek bones stood on end in a display that was undoubtedly the equivalent of a fuzzy blush. I'm sure that I was just as puffy as I told her it was fine. "I guess some things don't change no matter what planet you are on." I joked. Ariana chuckled once, "I suppose... It is late, we should get some sleep." she said as she stood up. "Can I borrow your blankets? The floor is hard and you will not need them now that you have fur."

"Sure." I answered, but I could see the wet spot where she had been sitting. I grinned quietly to myself as I realized why she really wanted the blankets. I almost asked her if she wanted to share the bed, but I figured I shouldn't press my luck. I finally found someone I really liked. And apparently she was attracted to me too. it took me a while to get to sleep that night, even once I did, my dreams were haunted by those soft, furry hands.
