A week had passed since that last demon attack and everything seemed normal and usual in Burgstein. And by usual, that means busy and loud streets in the rush hour of a Monday. With her being suspended from the university, Sasuga was keeping herself busy looking for a job. Demons or not, she needed money. Unfortunately, finding a job in this city was much harder than she expected, especially if it was a job she wanted, like anything that could put some use of her artistic talent. Too bad the chances of finding such a job was swindling with each passing day. The only thing she was grateful for was the lack of any demon attack. Nothing of the sort had happened since that battle with the Skulled demon in the Oran Woods, not that she missed it. If it was up to her, she'd rather they stopped appearing all together. Her cell phone then started to ring and she saw Hazard's number on it, answering it.

"Hey Haz, what's up?"

"Hey Sas, any luck with the job search?" Hazard's voice asked and Sasuga replied with a jaded sigh.

"Nothing yet. I might end up working as a waitress at that restaurant. I hate waitering; I tried it once in the past and I sucked badly at it."

"Nah, you'll find something better than that."

"I sure hope so, and soon. I won't be able to pay my rent after the next couple of months if I don't find anything good."

"I guess now is probably a good time to find some kind of roommate?" Hazard then suggested.

"A roommate? Hmm... maybe, that could help. But where can I find one? I don't want to end up with some creep!"

"Heh, don't over think it now. Just put an ad in the newspaper or online, someone might..." Hazard's voice suddenly cut off.

"Haz? Hello? Oh shoot, the battery ran out!" Sasuga griped, remembering that she forgot to recharge her cell phone last night. A nifty idea than crossed her mind, as she looked around her to see if anyone was watching her, and then she held her phone in her right hand and gave it a small charge of electricity. Sure enough, it charged the battery up to full power. She giggled in glee; her special powers sure could come in handy sometimes. She then dialed Hazard's number and called him again. "Hey wolfy, sorry, the battery ran out."

"Oh, I guessed as much. Anyway, let's meet up at Beverage Cloud for a little lunch and talk this over. Panja also said he had a nice surprise for us and wants us to meet up there," Hazard then said on the phone.

"A surprise?"

"Yeah. I dunno, when it comes to Panja, I tend to get worried rather than excited. Heh, we'll find out soon enough I guess. Meet you in 30 minutes?"

"Sure! See you then!" Sasuga chirped and hanged up. Now she was pretty curious at what the white lion had in store for them. The only way to find out was for her to head for Beverage Cloud and meet up with her two friends.

Just as they agreed on, Sasuga arrived at the Beverage Cloud café and glimpsed the golden wolf sitting on an outdoor table, as he waved at her to come and join him.

"Have a seat, girl. I already ordered some food," Hazard said as Sasuga came over.

"Oh? How'd you know what I want?" the kirin wondered as she sat down on an empty chair.

"No need. You could just dig in on whatever dish of the many coming," Hazard answered her with a smirk.

"Oh-kay..." Sasuga uttered coyly, remembering that when Hazard eats out, he goes all the way. "Where's Panja?" she then asked and as if he heard her call, Panja showed up on his motorcycle, stopping right in front of them.

"Speak of the devil," Hazard remarked, meaning it literally more or less.

"Hey sweeties! Wanderlust is here!" Panja greeted them in his usual upbeat self, taking off his helmet and leather jacket, hanging them on his bike as he joined them on the table. "What did I miss?"

"Not much. I was about to tell Sas how she needed a roomie for her apartment, since money is getting kind of tight," Hazard mentioned up.

"Roomie, eh? Well, my offer still stands, Sassy! I could move in with you and have all kinds of funs! I'm a blast as a roommate, just ask Hazzy!" Panja said openly.

"I told you before and I'm telling you again: That is out of the question. I'm not leaving you alone with her a single night," Hazard quickly objected.

"Aww, I know you don't want to lose me, wolfy, but don't fret! I'll be just next door; it'll be like I never even moved out!"

"That's not even what I... Never mind," Hazard grumbled, palming his face.

"Heh, while I appreciate your offer, Panja, I'm gonna have to go with Haz on this one. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to have you around, but I think I'd be better off with a female roomie," Sasuga explained modestly.

"Ohhhh... I get you! Hrmm... that would be really nice..." the white lion murmured, leering sleazily as pictured some suggestive thoughts in his head.

"Can't you go one minute without sexualizing everything?" Hazard said in distress.

"Pfft, you're the one to talk! You're thinking it too, Mr. LegWolfMan! I bet that's the reason why you won't let me room with her!"

"Mr. LegWolfMan?" Sasuga blinked.

"You didn't know? Hazzy is the biggest legman in history! He loves them so much he could eat 'em up! If you want anything from him, just show him a nice curvy thigh and he'd be all over you like a zombie over fresh brains!" Panja forwardly revealed and embarrassed Hazard to no end.

"Shut up you big muzzled dumbass!" Hazard scowled and kicked Panja in the shin under the table.

"Ow! That hurts, you sexy jerkoff!" Panja yelped achingly.

"Boys, boys! Settle down! We're getting out of the subject here!" Sasuga tried to calm them down, holding herself from letting out a laugh. She didn't know that little quirk about Hazard, but she found it to be endearingly cute. Just the image of him going hot for a pair of sexy legs made her let out a tiny giggle. "Anyway, Panja, Hazard said before you had a surprise for us?" the kirin then reminded him and Panja snapped his fingers.

"Oh shit, that's right! Boy are you two gonna love me for this! I mean, you already love me, but you're gonna love me even more! How much more, though? Enough to go homerun with the Wanderlust?" Panja exclaimed excitedly with a big grin.

"Just tell us already!" Hazard glowered irritably.

"Okay, okay! Keep your pants on! Wait, on second thought, don't!"

"Jeez..." the wolf groaned as the kirin chuckled. Panja then searched through one of his pants pockets and pulled out some tickets.

"Ta-dah! Check it out! Three tickets to the Cirque de la Rosa! It's for tonight show!" Panja announced, showing them the tickets in his hand.

"Oh, wow! Cirque de la Rosa!? That's awesome! How did you get those, Panja? They're like super expensive and hard to get!" Sasuga exclaimed ecstatically, standing up in joy and grabbing one of the tickets in her hands to examine it closely.

"Heh heh, I have my own sources. I figured that you needed some cheering up after the crap you had to go through last week, so I pulled a few strings and got us those tickets. Consider it a gift from your hunky white lion, my sweet kirin friend!" Panja smugly said.

"Aww, thank you, Panja! This is way awesome! You're right; I do love you more now!" Sasuga replied joyfully and went over to Panja's side to give him a loving hug, planting a sweet kiss on his fuzzy cheek.

"Aw, that's sweet... now give me another one on the lips!" Panja smirked and pouted his muzzle for the kirin, but then received another kick on the shin from Hazard instead. "Ouch!"

"What's the big deal about this dela rose?" Hazard asked curiously.

"You haven't heard about it?" Sasuga asked him back and the wolf shrugged. "It's a hugely famous world traveling circus group! I've seen some of their shows in TV before. They have some of the most incredible performances!" she keenly enlightened him.

"Oh... a circus huh? I haven't been following these entertainment outlets for a long while, so no wonder I didn't know about it," Hazard stated.

"They're great! Seeing it live is another whole different experience! I even asked Seif to join us, but he apologized and said he can't make it since he has some work to do. Poor thing needs a break sometimes," Panja said.

"That's too bad..." Sasuga breathed in disappointment. She would've loved it if Seif was able to join them, as well.

"I may have to pass, too. I'm not too big into this circus show thing," Hazard said.

"What?! No, you can't! You have to come with us!" Panja protested.

"Yeah, you have to, Haz! It would be more fun if we all went together!" Sasuga joined the white lion.

"I don't know..." Hazard hesitated.

"Pleeeease! I already went through the trouble and got us the tickets..." Panja whined and lowered his ears like a sad kitten, and Hazard hated seeing him like this and didn't have the heart to refuse any longer.

"Oh, fine! I'll go. It better be worth the trouble." Hazard gave in and both of them jumped joyfully and hugged the wolf from both sides.

"Yay!" both of Panja and Sasuga elated cried out, and Panja gave Hazard's cheek a big wet slurp.

"Goddammit!" Hazard grimaced as he was trapped between the two.
