#8 of Best Big Brother

Okay, wow. It's been a while. I'm not going to give any excuses, nor am I going to make any promises. I will say that I don't intend to let this sit this long again, and will strive to finish this.

I'm hoping to get another one shot out after this one, and maybe another one that will be smutty tied to my other characters before I get the next chapter out though, so it might be a while. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of writing, so I'm hoping that it won't take so long next time.

For now, I hope you all enjoy.

Entering the lounge, Jamie assisted Jack in laying down on the floor. The cub winced again as he felt the mush push back into his seat. "This feels so weird," he whined as he lay back. "I don't know if I like this."

Jamie chuckled as he unfastened the little cheetah's jeans. "Yeah, another reason I didn't do it often. If you really don't like it, you don't have to mess your diapers. I'll take it off when you need to go."

Pulling down Jack's jeans, he unfastened the tapes. As he opened the diaper, Jamie recoiled, his nose wrinkling. "By the gods, Jackie," he groaned, pinching his sensitive nose closed. This was one of the few times he hated being a canine. "When was the last time you had a poo?"

Jack's blush had returned, his ears pinned back. He covered his own nose as he answered. "Yesterday morning."

"That can't be healthy," muttered Jamie, grabbing the wipes and cleaning Jack off as quickly as he could. "If you're this backed up, I might have to see about getting you some suppositories." Wrapping up the used diaper, he tossed it in the trash and put a fresh diaper under his brother before grabbing a can of air freshener from the restroom. "That was definitely easier than I remember it," the wolf commented as he sprayed around the room, "though I was cleaning myself and couldn't see what I was doing. You are definitely taking a shower when we get home, though."

"Not a bath?" Jack asked, looking hopeful.

Jamie chuckled as he got back down to thread the cheetah's tail through the diaper. "Not tonight, buddy. I still have to cook dinner tonight, and you're going to need that shower sooner rather than later. I'll have something in the slow cooker tomorrow though, so I can give you a bath tomorrow after practice."

He quickly folded the front up and fastened it in place. He lifted Jack to his feet, leaving his jeans pooled around his ankles, and gave him a hug. "There ya go. Feeling better?"

"Uh-huh," Jack sighed, returning the hug. "Much better. Thank you, big bwother."

Smiling at Jack's lisp, the wolf kissed his brow and gestured to the jeans. "Now that the really awkward part is over, do you want to go back out, or stay in here?"

"Stay here, I think," Jack said, kicking out of the jeans and moving over to the couch. Sitting down, he pulled his pacifier from his backpack. "It's not as cool as I thought out there, and the couch is comfier." With that, he popped the pacifier into his mouth, suckling on it contentedly.

"Hey!" chuckled Jamie, moving back to the door. "It is cool! I get to set my own hours and sleep in late every day! How's that not cool?" Shaking his head, he opened the door and called out over his shoulder. "I'm going to go and get our stuff, since we left them out here, and then I'll join you in here. Unless you think I'm not cool enough?"

Jack shook his head emphatically, eyes wide at the apparent insult to his brother. Still laughing, Jamie told him, "I'll be right back," and closed the door. Heading out to the front, Jamie gathered Jack's Switch, his tablet and his vape before heading back to the lounge.

For the rest of the day, Jamie read and Jack played his games, with Jamie periodically going to help a customer. As predicted, it was a slow day, so Jamie spent more time in the lounge than out in the shop proper.

Before Jack knew it, Jamie was getting up again. He was confused this time, because his phone hadn't gone off. "What's going on?" he asked, putting his game aside. "Is there another customer?"

"Nah," Jamie replied with a smile as he headed to the door. "It's six thirty. I'm going to go clean up the shop and get ready to close the drawer. By the time I finish with that, it'll be time to close and go home."

Jack brightened and got up to follow. "Can I help?"

Jamie grinned and beckoned the kitten outside, causing Jack to beam brightly as he scrambled to put his jeans back on. "Do you wanna wipe the displays or sweep?"

Considering, Jack looked at the displays. They weren't too high, he could easily reach them. "Displays," he answered.

Reaching under the register, Jamie handed the cub a can of glass cleaner and some paper towels. "Not too much of the cleaner," he warned, heading over to where he kept the broom. "Just a little on each pane will clean it without leaving streaks."

Grinning, happy that he could help, Jack tackled the display windows with abandon, cleaning almost meticulously. Chuckling, Jamie started at the front of the store and slowly worked his way to the back. He had a routine, so by the time he was done sweeping, Jack was barely the quarters done with the displays.

"You okay over there?" He called.

"Yeah," Jack grunted, squatting before a display. His legs were spread out awkwardly and he when he moved over, it was with a strange shuffle. "I got this!"

Smirking, loving how adorable his brother was being, Jamie set the broom where it went and went to start counting the register. Soon Jack finished and came up to his brother, who accepted the glass cleaner and pointed to the trash can, where the little cheetah dutifully deposited the paper towels.

"Alright, ten more minutes," Jamie sighed, closing the register. "Go ahead and go get your things from the lounge. Shouldn't be much longer if I don't get another customer." He didn't, and by the time Jack was all packed up, Jamie closed the drawer and was turning off signs and lights.

"Alright, baby bro," the wolf said cheerfully as he locked the door. "Let's go shopping and then go home."

Jack cheered and climbed into the car.

Jamie pushed his shopping cart through the grocery store with Jack following meekly behind him. The little cheetah had gotten really quiet as soon as they had gotten out of the car, and was doing his best to avoid attention. He was convinced that his diaper was obvious, and that anyfur who looked at them could see that he was wearing one.

Worse, he really needed to pee, but if he went in his diaper here, that would surely draw attention. So he held back and just followed the wolf, only speaking when asked a question, and very quietly at that.

For his part, Jamie knew what the problem was, but he didn't say anything. Anything he said would only make the kitten even more uncomfortable right now. So he continued to go down the isles and loading the cart, waiting for Jack to say something.

Finally, the kitten couldn't stand it any longer. Reaching out, he tugged on Jamie's paw. "Jamie," he whispered really quietly. "I need to go to the bathroom."

Jamie nodded. "So go," he whispered back.

Jack's ears folded back. "I can't!" He whispered desperately. "Everyfur here will know!"

Smiling sympathetically, the wolf wrapped an arm around the little cheetah's shoulders. "Listen, Jackie," he said calmly, still moving to keep up appearances. "I guarantee no fur here knows, and won't be able to tell if you do. I would love your help and opinion of the groceries, but if it bothers you that much, the restrooms are around the corner. I'll come get you before I go to pay, and you can go straight to the car."

Jack thought about that for a moment. His big brother was offering him a way out. It wouldn't be that bad to go into the restroom and wet his diaper, and then wait for Jamie to come and get him. And yet, there was something in the wolf's tone that was stopping him from doing just that.

Jamie stopped at the coffee isle and was considering the selection, still hugging Jack gently, giving him a chance to decide. The wolf had let him do what he really wanted to do, and Jack owed it to him to try. Taking a deep breath, the little cheetah relaxed himself and let loose, flooding his diaper. When Jamie finally nodded and selected a Colombian blend to put in the cart, Jack was finished and smiling weakly at his brother.

Jamie gave him a proud smile that made Jack instantly feel that he had made the right decision. "I'm so proud of you, baby bro," the wolf whispered, hugging the kitten tighter to him for a moment before releasing him and continuing shopping.

"I think you deserve something special," the older fur continued in a normal voice. "What do you want for dinner tonight? I'll make it tonight if it's not too difficult."

They were passing the meat isle then, and looking in gave the cheetah inspiration. "Steak?" He asked hopefully. He didn't get steak often.

"Good choice!" Jamie laughed, reaching over and selecting a pack of sirloins. "Steak, cheesy mashed potatoes, and avocado with garlic bread it is. We're going to feast tonight."
