The trio of researchers glanced into the entrance of the tomb with wide eyes, shivering hands, and bated breath while behind them a platoon of soldiers ambled about irritatedly. Behind them a crowd of people were held back behind police tape, lines of guards and security officers, and a group of reporters babbling excitedly into their microphones as they preened for the cameras. "Today is the first day that the tomb will be getting explored, three weeks after this mysterious tomb appeared in the middle of central park, we will finally be getting answers on why and how this structure has appeared here!" One of the most excitable reporters was standing a bit too close to the tomb, earning herself a sharp glare from one of the soldiers who snapped at her to get away.

The leader of the soldiers glared around, Harris Urret was his name, and pissed off was his game. A master sergeant in the marines he'd been hand selected with the rest of his platoon from several different branches of the military to lead the march into the tomb. Apparently several higher ups had determined it a significant risk, possibly even alien. Even now just looking at the thing gave him a headache, and it was piled on with the fact that some of the soldiers he'd been given from the other branches weren't the most respectful bunch. One of the navy's men, a man by the name of Terrance Wilkers who seemed to have a rather resentful tone, having complained through most of the day of how he'd been pulled from officer training to be dropped in this hellhole. He then went on to bitch about how he was being bossed about by a non-commissioned officer, so Harris had shut him up with a painful smack to the back of his head and a mean glare that would've sent children running and screaming. The master sergeant glanced back to the tomb and shivered unconsciously, thinking about how it had appeared... and wondering what it was.

Three weeks prior in the middle of central park there was a loud explosion as out of nowhere a giant structure appeared, it was a black crystalline tomb of sorts covered in all sorts of hieroglyphics, and it had just formed on the ground with little ado. Thankfully no one had been in the same spot as the tomb, but otherwise nobody risked going inside as the thing emanated an aura of mystery and fear. The city and the government had been quick to shut down the area, pulling people out of central park as they quarantined the tomb, only allowing high profile researchers and archaeologists near it. None of them had been allowed inside of it, but rather got to work on the symbols on the outside, while they certainly were hieroglyphics reminiscent of those from egypt they were completely different and had none of the same meaning.

For three whole weeks the researchers had cracked and hacked at the code trying to figure out, but to little avail, for the most part it just seemed to be gibberish. Some of them had pushed to go into the tomb earlier as they thought there may be some sort of translation guide, like the rosetta stone, that might help them disseminate the meanings, but the government wouldn't allow anyone in until they had a proper grasp of the situation. Anyone who attempted to enter the tomb without permission was arrested on the spot and given severe punishments by military courts, a few went to federal prisons as result of trying to snap a few pictures. The government had assembled a group of military men they could rely on, and while Harris didn't like the looks of the thing on the TV he'd been obliged to accept the mission as he was requested by some high ranking generals by name.

Now standing there Harris felt irritated, he was hefting his M14 warily, making sure nobody got too close as the three researchers were busy glancing over their notes. "Are we going to get a move on anytime now, Benson?!" he snapped. The head researcher along with his associates jumped up in shock at the sharp bark of the military men, a few of the onlooking crowd chuckled and jeered as the scholarly trio regained their composure.

Averick Benson grimaced as he brushed himself down, running a hand through his salt and pepper hair as he straightened up and looked at Harris disdainfully. "Well, Mr. Urret, we will be ready in a few moments, we're just trying to decipher some of the hieroglyphics here. It's certainly possible that there may be traps within the tomb and we don't want to be wandering in blind," he explained.

The master sergeant sniffed dismissively, he already intended on checking every corner of the tomb's interiors for traps. "From what I've gathered of the intel, you still haven't figured out what these symbols mean, Benson. What makes you think that you'll understand them all of a sudden now?" he demanded. Averick and Harris hadn't gotten along since they'd met, and the heat was making their disposition towards one another increasingly poor, but they would do their jobs no matter what... mostly due to the fact that they were hired by their government to do their work without a fuss.

"I don't have much of an understanding of the hieroglyphics yet," Averick admitted, "but that doesn't mean I've given up on trying to understand what they mean. There's a culture's history lying before us right now, telling us a story that we have yet to understand. I intend to crack it wide open, and within this tomb there is likely some piece to the puzzle that we need to find before we can proceed any further." The researcher's tone was dead serious and while Harris didn't like the researcher much he couldn't help but admire his spunk, he had more balls than some of the soldiers that they'd arranged for him, but of course he didn't let the science geek know that. Averick and his assistants went over their notes a bit longer and with disgruntled expressions it was clear to the military men that they hadn't figured anything of use out, so without further ado they started forward into the tomb.

All around the men flicked on cameras they'd had attached to their chests, they were going to stream the information as long as they could to live cameras, and once they lost connection the cameras would record the visuals to their memory cards. As they all fell in line they couldn't help but notice that the sounds of the world behind them vanished quickly, as if a mute fell in place behind them, the only sounds were the echoing of their footsteps. Everybody turned on their flashlights as the light soon faded as well, leaving them in a pitch black cave. The walls and floor being made of the same black crystal made it very hard for any of them to see where exactly they were going, so a few of them started to feel nauseous as they found themselves extremely disoriented.

Harris scowled as one of his "hardened" military men suddenly turned and hurled, his entire body twisting into a rictus of agony as he threw up his lunch, everyone giving him a wide berth as he spat up. There were a few minutes as everyone waited for him to regain his composure before they started forward once more, and even Harris had to admit that he was starting to feel odd. He scowled at the sensations flowing through his body, it felt like the tunnel was twisting around him, like he was walking on the roof rather than the floor. Harris attempted to ignore the sensations, but they only grew increasingly severe as they continued on, a few more soldiers losing their lunches, and one of the researchers nearly passing out as they continued on their way. It was soon bad enough that they thought about turning around, but Averick continued pressing his way forward despite many requests to go back.

As they continued down the hallway though there was a surprised gasp from Averick up ahead, Harris lurching forward in an attempt to protect the researcher... and he blinked in surprise as he realized that the man had merely bumped into a wall. Though truthfully that wasn't the surprising thing, there was nothing else at the end of the hall, no turn offs, no other hallways... they'd merely met the end of the hallway. "What the fuck?" he grunted. Averick looked extremely confused as he glanced about looking for some secret passage, feeling the walls over, pressing at anything that might be a switch, and even kicking the wall as if it would release some secret... but there was nothing. They'd walked into the tomb to find jack shit, and the military men were none too happy as they started bellyaching about how they'd marched through a hellish hall for no reason. "Shut the fuck up!" Harris barked at the men. He then turned to face Averick who looked more than a little pissed off, hell, he almost looked ready to cry. "What're we going to do, Benson?"

After a few moments and some deep breathing Averick slumped, looking defeated as he glanced at the master sergeant. "Well, sergeant, it looks like we're going to have to go back up. We may have to send in some excavators with some drills or explosives, maybe that will help us find some way to get deeper into the tomb. For now though it looks like we've hit a dead end," he grunted. With that he gestured for everyone to start back, and the men were overjoyed to do such while the researchers were sulking, all the while Harris couldn't help but feel a little satisfied himself. Averick had gotten a big head over this entire situation, claiming how great of a find it would be, and how big he would get in history books just to find it was all for nothing. Harris sniggered quietly as he looked over his equipment out of habit just to make sure everything was in working order... and he noticed his camera was off the network.

Of course the marine didn't think anything of it, they were still deep due to the tomb so he figured it would fix itself soon enough. Harris did notice that the sickness they'd experienced on the way in didn't him this time, and in fact he soon saw the light far faster than he had before... but the men's shouts of surprise didn't please him. Harris frowned as he rushed forward to see what was wrong with his men... and then his boots hit the sand. Harris' eyes widened in shock as he stepped from the tomb and out into a desert, gone was the city of New York, and instead he was now standing quite clearly in a desert... and before them was an enormous city, one even larger than the American one they'd left.

Averick stepped out of the tomb himself and gaped stupidly at the city, a monolith of a thing, reaching so high in the sky he could hardly believe it. Everyone was gawking dumbstruck at the city, they were so enraptured that they almost missed the figures off in the distance approaching them. They were walking over a huge sand dune, a pair dressed in what looked to be black furs, everyone lifted their weapons as they noticed the pair. While they were all unsure of how'd they come to reside here, they were all certain that they weren't in New York anymore, and none of them intended on relaxing in a strange land.

Gathering himself up once more Harris stepped into line with his men, hefting his gun up and pointing them at the approaching figures. He peered through the scope of his gun... and froze as he saw something confusing, the pair approaching them appeared to be dressed in nothing but loincloths, hardly covering their bodies, but what was more confusing was the fact that they both appeared to be dressed at some sort of dog creatures. He blinked a few times as he withdrew from his scope, not believing his eyes, and several of the other men looked equally confused as the figures came closer until they were within twenty feet of the group.

They both wielded spears, ebony staffs held in their hands with golden metal blades, and both of them were intimidating looking as they glared upon the men. Harris tilted his head in confusion, trying to understand what he was seeing, the costumes the men were wearing must be some sort of cultural thing... but they looked awfully real for just costumes. Tails hung from between their legs, just peering out from underneath their loincloths, and their feet had sharp claws baring into the sand below them. "Humans, you are in violation of our God's rules!" one of the pair barked. His voice was deep, echoing over the landscape, his golden eyes glaring at the group of men.

For a few moments everyone looked confused as they mumbled amongst themselves, had this man called them humans? What was this about a God? Why wasn't he wearing pants? That last one received a smack from Harris, one of the army men grunting as his head rocked forward, and yet all the time their guns were trained on the men before them. "Before you go shooting them, let me talk to them!" Averick suddenly hissed into the master sergeant's ear, looking almost ecstatic at the situation.

"What?!" Harris growled. He glared at Averick, looking appalled at the man's suggestion, he didn't care if there were diplomatic things he could be doing right now, the pair before them had extremely dangerous looking spears in their hands. "Shut up, Benson! Can't you see these two are armed with fucking spears?! I don't think they're in the mood to talk!" he spat.

Averick didn't look swayed in the least though, giving Harris a condescending look before stepping beyond the soldier, towards the pair. They both focused their eyes on him, and the researcher felt a chill run down his spine, these two certainly didn't look like just any men in costumes... the way the fur bristled up at his movements, the way their ears twitched... "Hello!" he shouted out. Both growled slightly at his sudden shout and pointed their spears at him, Averick breathed in slightly as the sharp points were suddenly aimed at his chest, but he continued on anyways aware of the fact that there were many guns pointing at the pair even now. "We have arrived here from the depths of a tomb that appeared in our city, we were wondering if you two might know anything of that? I have a feeling that something strange has happened here and..."

"Stop talking, human!" one of the pair roared. His fur was bristling now, his ears leaning forward, and his ears glaring daggers into Averick. Now everyone was starting to get the feeling that these weren't just men in costumes, these were animals, and they looked brutally savage. Their bodies were muscled, they weren't exactly brutes, but they were certainly men who knew how to fight, and they looked ready to pounce on the researcher. Harris staved off shooting yet though, he was going to wait until the researcher was out of the line of fire.

"Benson, move back slowly," the master sergeant hissed. Averick for once didn't argue, slowly starting to wheel back as the pair of dog men started forward. The sun caught on the blades of the spears, the metal looking dangerously sharp now that it was highlighted by the bright light. Averick felt about ready to piss himself as he realized that he really was in danger, and these men weren't about to listen to them.

"We jackals are the Gods' servants, we are the highest form of life! You humans are a pitiful species that need to be cleansed of your impurities! Follow us now, or die here!" the other creature spat. Now that Averick heard jackals it popped right into his head, they indeed looked like jackals, aside from the fact that they looked like men. He noted that they had highly articulated fingers and feet like men, but aside from that they were all animal with sharp bared teeth, brutal looking muscles, and thick black fur.

For a moment nobody said anything as Averick fell back behind the military men, all of them forming a line in front of the trio of researchers, keenly aware of the fact that they could die if the jackals got past the soldiers. There was silence as the men kept their guns trained on the two jackals, the pair having stopped themselves, they didn't seem to understand the guns, but they certainly understood the intent in the men's faces. There was a standoff and nobody moved, only the sound of the jackals panting, the mens' breathing, and the wind brushing through the sand. "Fire!" Harris roared.

The jackals sprung forward, preparing to filet the men with their spears, and the bullets flew through the air. They struck home, smacking into the jackals, launching them backwards... but there was no visible damage. It was obvious that the bullets were injuring the creatures, or at least knocking the wind out of them, but the bullets weren't penetrating. The pair whimpered and grunted as they fell back against the onslaught of bullets, but they didn't die. That didn't stop the men from firing though, they went through full clips of bullets as they tried to ward off the pair, and finally after a full minute of shooting the two the jackals let out yips and ran off, sprinting at full speed back towards the gargantuan city.

Finally all of the military men stopped firing, the smell of cordite heavy on the air, and the ringing of gunfire ringing in everybody's ears. "Jesus christ!" Warren growled. The researcher rubbed at his ears, glaring at the soldiers with obvious irritation, but Averick waved him away.

"They would've killed us if the soldiers didn't shoot at them," Averick said. Warren nodded, he knew that, but he certainly didn't like the deafening effect of the guns. "That being said though, what are those creatures? Obviously some kind of jackal human hybrid, but how in the hell did they take bullets like that and walk away?" he asked Harris.

"Fuck if I know," the master sergeant growled. He flicked open his current magazine and growled, he'd unloaded two magazines worth of bullets into those monsters and they'd merely run away rather than die under the barrage. "Those things are fucking monsters..." he growled. Looking around he saw several of the men looking concerned and so Harris straightened up, allowing his M14 to sit against his chest. "What's the matter with all of you?" he spat.

One of the soldiers stepped forward, tech sergeant Greg Peters from the air force, he was a smaller guy and rather wirey. Part of Harris wondered how he'd made it through boot camp, but he listened as Greg spoke. "Sir, most of us weren't expecting any real firefights so most of us only brought a couple of magazines and... well some of us just burnt though those magazines," he explained. A few of the soldiers nodded with abashed looks on their faces, and Harris nearly punched the tech sergeant... but calmed himself as he ground his teeth instead.

"Are you kidding me? When we were setting up I told all of you to be battle ready, that means bring extra ammunition in case of any emergency!" he roared. Several of the soldiers flinched under his yelling, though others merely looked irritation.

"Well I'm sorry that I didn't expect us to be tossed into some weird desert land, sir!" Terrence Wilkers spat. The navy man nearly got punched by the master sergeant, but he'd avoided it narrowly as Averick stepped in, trying to calm down the military men.

"Harris!" Averick spat. The marine man spun to face him, going red in his face as he prepared to chew out the researcher next, but the researcher merely gave him a fierce glare of his own. "It doesn't matter how many bullets your men have, it's pretty damn obvious to anybody that they aren't going to affect these things. You scared them off for now, but they seem to be impervious to bullets, and I don't think throwing more bullets is really going to do anything. They're a decent deterrent, but in the long run they're not going to do anything. Now I think we should go back into the tomb and leave before anything else happens," he explained.

For a second Harris looked about ready to argue... but then sighed as he realized that the researcher was right, and so he looked towards the tomb and prepared himself for the trip. "Okay men, everyone get ready to go back to the tomb, we're going to get out of this hell hole!" he spat. Nobody argued as they all prepared themselves to go back, none of them wanted to stay a single minute longer.

The Capital:

A pair of guards ran into one of the capital's squares, one of its primary locations where the populace of jackals moved through. All about were jackals of all types, burly, squat, small, and tall, they all went about their business. Some were simple workers, doing the day to day manual labors that were necessary in any kingdom, the mere peasantry. Others were more important to the kingdom, the guards, the heavy lifting jackals, and then at the center of it all... a priest. He stood there, tall, elegant, and completely naked, adorned with golden accessories all about his body. A condescending sneer sat upon his face as he watched all of the lesser jackals went about their business, glancing at a few jackals of note who were exceptionally attractive or doing an exceptional job, but otherwise did not move.

One thing of note about all of the jackals was they were all adorned with at least pieces of jewelry, some rings, some bracelets, other earrings, or necklaces, but they all wore jewelry. The priest by far wore the most, twelve pieces adorning his body, a prince albert stuck in his shaft, and many more glittering across his black furred body. He had a group of jackals gathered at his feet, whispering words of worship, and more than a few of them jerking their cocks off. These were the few that were allowed to do so as they'd gained God's favor, though they very well might lose his favor at any point and be changed to a new form that would please God. Then his eyes glinted as the two guards approached him, they were only supposed to approach a priest under the most important of circumstances, otherwise they would be punished... and punishment often resulted in a jackal being reformatted to a new position with a new mind. The jackal's eyes started to glow as God spoke through his priest, a deep resonant tone blasting the two staggering guards. "What is it you need of this priest?"

Everyone in the plaza froze as they realized the priest was talking, his voice echoing off of the walls, and everyone suddenly had a raging erection, after all, God was talking through the priest. "Y... your excellence!" one of the jackals started. He bowed deeply, and his compatriot did so as well, their cocks shivering beneath the loincloths at his presence.

"Humans, we saw humans out in the desert!" the other jackal spat.

The priest froze as his eyes widened, humans... that was not something he'd expected to hear. It had been long since humans were last spotted, they were thought to be extinct in fact, certainly since the jackals were immortal, and the world having been claimed for God's own species. "One of you, walk to the priest and let him see your memories." This request caused the guards to pause, such an act was an honor... but also... it was said that once touched by a priest a guard would automatically be formatted as to be touched meant that one was too close to God and had to be changed out of respect to his holiness.

One of the two sagged before stepping forward, he looked up at the priest's blazing golden eyes and bowed his head, and the priest touched the crown of his head. For a moment there was a bright flash of golden light, the entire area being bathed within its glory... and then it died. The priest pulled his hand from the jackal's head, and the guard from before was gone, now replaced by a far more lithe and cute looking jackal. He'd been chosen as a consort, useful for pleasing other men, and when before he'd only wielded three articles of jewelry he now had four, a new piercing hanging in his nose. The jackal looked a little confused, glancing around dazedly before his eyes focused on the other guard who looked on in surpise, and a sly smile formed on the jackal's mouth.

"You have done me a great deed, guard. Your reward is this consort, use him well, and be ready to move soon, but for now enjoy him." The newly changed consort ground up against the side of the larger jackal, his body now covered with purple silk clothes that hardly concealed the erection below, a grin playing across his lips. The guard felt a little disgruntled, but he soon was interested as the consort played with his sheathe.

"Thank you, your holiness!" the guard said with a deep bow. Without another word he walked off with the consort clutching tight to him, and all around the square went back to its normal routine as the priest's eyes started to return to a dull golden color, the presence of God fading. Though already God was enraptured by these new details, these odd weapons they'd fired upon the guards, able to fight them off, though unable to penetrate the immortal beings. They'd spoken with accents that God didn't recognize, and wore clothing that didn't resemble anything that humans once wore.

About the city new commands started to rush out, gathering guards from all around as priests spoke God's orders. The word rose up all around, new humans were there, and they were to be captured and converted, and then their information gathered so they could find the source of more humans. God chuckled deep within his palace as he realized that his normal routine had been made more interesting with the appearance of more humans, after all, he'd conquered them once... why not add more jackals to worship his glory?

Desert Dunes

The men had thought it would be as easy as traveling through the tomb once more to return home, but when they reached the tomb they found that entrance to the tomb was now a plain black wall. Any hieroglyphics that had been on the entrance before had also been wiped clean, now it just looked like a big stone block, and everyone was beginning to panic. "Shit, shit, shit!" Quinn the third researcher panicked. He was looking around everywhere for some sign of an exit, out of the three researchers he'd been the least interested, and now he looked about ready to give up right there.

"Calm down, Quinn!" Averick spat. He glared at Quinn as the man hardly slowed his frantic pace, a few of the soldiers aiding him in his search as he turned to face Harris. The master sergeant was currently looking out at the city with binoculars, he was scanning the edges of the city, even though it was enormous from where they were standing apparently they were quite a distance away from the city. "See anything, Harris?"

"It's Benson, researcher, don't forget yourself," the marine spat. He lowered his binoculars, looking peaved as he continued to look at the city. "I don't see anything yet, but with the speed those two jackals ran with I don't imagine we'll get much warning before they pounce on us. I think we should get ready to move, we're too close to where those two found us before, and without an exit I think we need to find a place to hide until we can find a way back." Harris didn't like the idea of staying in this desert any longer than he had to, but he didn't feel good just sitting here and waiting for some of those monsters to come back for them.

Warren looked rather concerned as he glanced from Averick to Harris and back, scratching at his scruffy chin. "Is that the best idea? I mean... what if the door opens back up in a little bit and we miss it? What if those things find their way into our world without anybody knowing about them?" The researcher sounded antsy, he was an expert cryptographer, the main reason Averick had brought him on, though he didn't do well under pressure. Quinn on the other hand had been brought on as a personal favor to a friend to give the young man a chance at learning what it was like out in the field, but now he was deeply regretting it as Quinn looked ready to break into a thousand pieces.

Glancing about at the gathered military men who looked about ready to shoot at anything that moved, and the antsy Quinn, Averick let out a sigh. "I don't like it either, Warren, but the master sergeant is right. If we just stay here we're sitting ducks, we need to find a hiding place before night falls." They all glanced up into the sky, the sun was sitting high above them as if it were a giant spotlight signaling right where they were.

"Master sergeant, there's more of the jackals coming this way! There are a lot of them too!" One of the men shouted out, the fear in his voice evident as everyone turned to see a black blur in the dunes before them, sprinting out from the city in mass force and everyone straightened up in fear. "Holy shit, they're coming fast!" the soldier whimpered.

"You three, get your asses in gear!" Harris shot at the researchers, and none of them argued the point as they started sprinting off into the dunes, they didn't know where they were going, but they intended to make tracks. Meanwhile the soldiers started falling back as well, but they lit up the air with gunfire as the jackals come within range, a wall of bullets slamming into the creatures.

This time the jackals were prepared for the guns, they still didn't understand them, but God had shared the guard's memory with them and shown them how the weapons worked. It didn't make it exactly easy though as the humans' weapons did slow them down quite a bit, knocking several of them off of their feet and sending them flying, but there were a lot of the jackals. All of them guard, very agile and very strong, but this time they weren't wielding spears, instead they were holding a variety of items handed to them by the priests themselves. Accessories such as jewels, earrings, bracelets, a variety of trinkets made of different metals, and all of the jackals were grinning eagerly.

The forty soldiers were hellbent on keeping the creatures away, trying their best to stem the flow, but with how fast and invulnerable the creatures were, there had to be a casualty sooner or later. It was odd though as one of the jackals tossed a simple little jewel, it was a little piece of metal, and somehow it homed in on one of the soldiers. Terrence to be exact, the sailor let out a gasp of shock as it hit him, and in an instant he felt dazed as he felt a sharp sting in his ear. He staggered, suddenly feeling very confused, his head aching, and his body oddly... wrong. Before Terrence was always wisecracking or blathering about something, all of the other soldiers shouted at him to move, noticing that he had a new ruby earring stuck in his left ear, but the man wouldn't move... he looked very perplexed.

"What... the fuck...?" he grumbled. Lifting a hand to his ear the sailor felt the earring, his brows drawing together in confusion as there was an image in his head... a jackal... one with an earring just like his own, grinning at him, almost completely naked, save for the fact that he was gown in silks and had a very erect cock between his legs. "What kind of faggoty..." he grumbled.

He didn't have time to ask anything else though as another jackal tossed a bangle, and once more the object was attracted to the sailor, Terrence only catching a glimpse of the object as it flew at him and struck home. He let out a shout as he felt the silver bangle wrap around his arm and squeeze tight, suddenly changes struck him like blows. His well muscled body suddenly shrunk, from a decent six foot two down to a measly five three, and now black fur was gathering over his body, his ears popping as they started to migrate, magics bubbling over his body. Once more the mental image of a jackal was standing out in his mind, this time a new bangle on his wrist as he gestured for Terrence to come closer, wrapping one hand around his shaft as he grinned, and he spoke, the words forming directly in the sailor's mind.

"God has given you a new task, and you will accept it. You are to be a jackal in his holiness' court, a consort to frolick amongst the populace of the kingdom. You should be proud to serve." His voice was Terrence's, every syllable ringing with Terrence's own inflections and sounds, suddenly his human life seemed awfully far away... not gone but... extremely unimportant. Loyalty to the navy fading away, loyalty to his country disappearing, a new feeling erupting in him... a desire to serve his...

"What... everybody... help me... something's wrong," he groaned. Terrence turned around and started towards his allies, wanting their help, but they were looking on him with shock and horror. Terrence's changes were so fast he hardly noticed them, the magic within the objects stripped away his clothing revealing an increasingly lithe and girlish figure covered in black fur, his cock hardening and growing a dark black sheathe at its base. He moaned despite himself, wanting to stroke himself off, a great presense looming in the back of his mind, the other him, the jackal that beckoned him.

He could see it even now, Terrence unconsciously stopping even as he heard the jackals approaching from behind him. That other Terrence beckoning him, his eyes a dull golden color, gazing into his mental eyes, bringing him closer, the words being whispered into his ear. "You are a loyal subject to God, just accept him, forget that old mortal life, you will become an immortal being of God." Terrence wanted to fight, to run after his allies, to escape... but then he felt a ring slip onto his new tail... and everything made sense!

The new jackal gasped as his eyes flashed golden, an awed expression passing over his face as he came, the orgasm coming so suddenly he hardly had time to enjoy it. Within him a great understanding took place, an epiphany so great it was better than any orgasm could ever be, God, his God, he was one of God's jackals! He felt the other jackals surrounding him, and despite never having been a jackal before he knew he needed to join them, to help them purify the humans, as he had been!

The humans watched in shock and terror as the change happened so quickly, for terrence the change had been slower, he'd been stuck in the magic that made him stand still, but for them it happened in such an instant they hardly had time to process it. Terrence was lost in the crowd of jackals, but he had joined them, Harris watched as the new jackal immediately started running towards them, humanity lost in a quick instant. "Run you idiots!" he roared. This shocked them out of their reverie, but it didn't save them all, some of them were run down by the jackals, Harris didn't know if they were changed, or if they were trampled, but he grabbed the rest of his men and got them to move as fast as they could.

Before the jackals could get too close to their group Harris threw a grenade, out of the group of jackals only one of them knew what it was, but he had no time to warn the others before they were all blown away by the explosion. While they were all immortal, they will still knocked for a loop by such a powerful device, and so the humans got away... or at least of them did. Five soldiers yelled and roared as they were held down, the jackals gathering around them with sneers and chuckles. "We will bring you to the city, we need you to tell us everything you know. God may even grant you a boon," one of them chuckled.

"Terrence, help us!" one of the soldiers shouted.

"Fight it, man, you were one of us!" another shouted.

From amongst the jackals a lithe jackal approached, curling himself onto one of the larger guards and smiling at them with bright golden eyes. His ear twitched, the new jackal's earring glinting in the sunlight. "Don't worry, it doesn't hurt, it feels really good everyone. Just help God, I'm going to, it feels sooo much better to be a jackal. We're God's creation after all, now follow along and you can meet with one of God's priests," he said in an awed tone. His voice sounded exactly like Terrence's, but it lacked his usual wisecracking tone, he sounded like a xealot who'd found their god and was throwing themselves into it completely.

The group of men shouted out for help, but were met with silence as they were marched into the city, none of them making it easy for the guards. Part of them wondered if they would ever see home again, but they struggled all the way into the cells they were shoved in. They were left there, Terrence not even bothering to say goodbye as he was smothered in the embrace of a jackal lover, their ally gone under the new jackal.

Harris was fuming the entire time they were running, he'd lost six men in the second attack against the jackals, and apparently the freaks could turn his own men into one of them! He was about ready to bite a hole through his tongue when Quinn collapsed, they'd been running for nearly an hour straight without a break, and apparently that had been too much for the researcher. He wasn't exactly dressed for hot weather, being dressed in a black sweater and khakis, he passed out without much ado and everyone else stopped as they realized that he was out cold. "Damn it!" Harris roared. He knew that the jackals would likely be following them, and he had no time for this bullshit.

"Calm down, master sergeant!" Greg shouted. Harris glared at him, but actually simmered down a bit as he watched the tech sergeant pour some water into Quinn's mouth. "If we keep running like this, we all may start dropping. We need a break!" Greg 's words rang true in Harris' ears, but that didn't make him any less angry, he'd lost men, and now they were all drained and they had an enemy following on their trail.

For a moment everyone thought he might tell them to run anyways... but he grunted before glancing behind them to see if they were being followed. "Fine! We'll rest for ten minutes, but then we're going to start running again. Understand?" There were grunts of agreement before everyone started sitting down and drinking from their canteens, Harris looking at the colossus behind them all the while. Even though they'd run for a full hour the city hadn't changed in the least, it was still huge, it was as if the world revolved about the city.

"We've been running for an hour, but the sun hasn't moved." Harris was surprised as Averick drew up beside him taking a sip from his water canteen. The soldier looked up and blinked as he realized the researcher was right, the sun was in the same exact spot as earlier. "I don't know what's happening here, master sergeant, but I think we've left our world," he grunted.

Harris was silent, but he couldn't help agree, they certainly weren't in Kansas anymore. He was about to say as such when there were a yell of surprise and everybody started standing up as a vehicle roared up to them, it wasn't exactly a car, or at least any car they'd ever seen, but it certainly was a vehicle. Everybody looked on in shock as the machine pulled up and stopped before them, and stepping out of the vehicle was a man, a regular human man, dressed in a simple toga and looking at them dubiously. "What in the desert are you all doing just sitting out in plain sight?!" the man roared.

Everybody looked at him for a few moments in complete shock as the man started to realize that they weren't dressed like him and Quinn broke the silence as he sat up. "Are we back home yet?" he whimpered. Everybody looked at him and couldn't help but wonder if they'd be able to get back home at all...

Capital Cells:

"Tell us everything you know. How are you humans still alive? Where are you hiding? How many of you are there?" The jackal growled several questions into Urin's face, but the man merely scowled back into the jackal's. True the monsters were rather disquieting to face, but he was a marine, just like the master sergeant, he wasn't one to be frightened into answering. Not only that, but he was an american, he wouldn't be giving up anything.

The man merely gave a grin, spitting into the jackal's face as he sneered. "Why don't you ask the traitor? Apparently he's fuckin' enough of you!" he barked. He watched in disgust as Terrence rode on one of the jackals in the room, moaning and whimpering as he rode up and down on the jackal's shaft. Urin had been dragged out of the cell by the jackals ten minutes prior, the other soldiers telling him to give up nothing, and he intended to do just that.

"He's told us everything he knows, but once we undergo the change our past life is blurry. So you will tell us everything you know, and then you can be purified," the jackal explained. Of course the soldier did nothing but spit into his face again, but the jackal was surprisingly patient, he merely wiped away the spit and continued to glare at Urin with those creepy golden eyes.

Urin of course wasn't about to give up anything he knew, so after fifteen minutes of silence the guard smirked, apparently excited by this part. "We will get you to talk. We'd prefer not to start the change as it does make details rather fuzzy, but God's tools will help us get plenty of information out of you." The soldier looked confused as the guard opened a box on the table before him and pulled out a simple ring, since the soldier was tied up he couldn't do anything as the guard let go of the ring and it flew right up to Urin and attached itself to his nose with a magical flash.

There was an immediate reaction as Urin let out a moan, his entire body rocking back as the new ring flashed in his nose, his body shuddering as a new flood of fuzziness flooded through him. "F... fuck..." he moaned. The soldier suddenly felt good, REALLY good, like he'd been dosed with a drug or something. "What... did you do to me?" he growled. The man didn't notice the fact that where the ring touched his nose started to blacken, growing out ever so slightly.

"Started your purification. You're sure to feel more open and talkative now that you've been introduced to God's power," the guard purred. The word God sent a shiver through Urin, the soldier didn't know where it came from, but the word felt goooood. It was like Urin was drunk, the man's brows knitted together, he was a loyal soldier, he couldn't be giving any information up... but holy shit, the ring was so warm in his nose, and it made his nipples hard.

"What the fuck is wrong with me? What the fuck is wrong with all of you freaks?!" Urin growled. That being said though he couldn't help but feel a certain buzz as he looked into the jackal's golden eyes, a flash of something in his mind... a warmth... God?

The guard leaned forward, in the back Terrence was whimpering as he came, Urin found in the back of his head that he was surprised at how many times the jackal had orgasmed since he'd changed. The man wondered if he were to become a jackal, could he... No, he was human, he was a soldier, a MARINE, semper fi! "What is your name?" the jackal asked.

"Urin Biggs," Urin said. His eyes widened in surprise, why had he answered... shit, why had he answered truthfully?!

A grin slid across the jackal's face and Urin moaned suddenly as his cock twitched in his pants, growing erect, a feeling of pleasure flowing from his nose ring. "Isn't that better? God rewards anybody who serves faithfully, and you can be a very faithful jackal, can't you? What do you hope to be, a consort like your friend? Perhaps a guard like me? You could even be a goliath, one of God's muscles. Imagine how good that would be, to be a big brutish jackal." Images flashed in Urin's heads, of lithe jackals, of a guard that looked like the one before him, of a brutish looking jackal... and his cock was so hard at the thought. "Just answer more questions, and I'll give you your next holy artifact, and you'll be one step closer. You just need three, and you will be one of God's jackals," the guard said tantalizingly.

Urin gasped as he shook his head, he wouldn't betray his friends, he was a human, a soldier, semper fi, semper fi, semper fi! "Where did you humans come from?" the jackal asked.

For a moment Urin kept his lips firmly shut, he wouldn't tell them, he was a soldier, he was... god that buzz earlier felt soooo good. "A tomb, we walked through a tomb and came out into the desert," he said. Another rush, his eyes fluttered back as a tinge of gold ran through them, his ears grew sharper at the top, black fur started to dance across his skin, he nearly came with the orgasmic flow. "Holy shit..." he whimpered.

The guard asked more questions, about his personal life, where Urin came from, how many people were in his family, and the soldier... caved. After four questions the jackal gave him another ring, it slid onto his finger, and Urin saw a guard in his mind, with a nose ring, and a ring on his finger. He stood at attention in line with so many other guards, all of them erect, all of them calling out God, praising God, being God's loyal soldiers. Urin found his previous life growing dimmer, it became a bit harder to answer questions as the answers were... out of reach. He could remember his life, or at least remember living as a human but... it wasn't as clear as it was before. Urin answered more questions, talking about his father, and his mother... and his family. More and more he changed as God's love flowed through him, his body changing, clothes disappearing and leaving in their place a loincloth that hardly contained his erection.

Urin answered every question without hesitating, he wanted to obey God, he wanted to be one of God's jackals, he wanted to be a guard! And so the guard granted his wish, allowing a detailed chain necklace to leave his hand and wrap around Urin's neck. The man gasped as he came violently, his cum rocketing to splash over the table as he became a full jackal, an awe filled glow filling his eyes as his muzzle spread into a wide grin. He was a jackal... he followed God, the guards cut his ropes as he staggered to his feet, cock dripping as he grinned wide at his fellow guard and felt an instant connection. The pair kissed deeply, cocks pressing up against one another as Urin felt embraced by God's power, and he knew he'd been right to give up his impurities.

The new jackal walked back to the cages, grinning to himself as he entered the room with the other soldiers, all of them looking at him disdainfully. "Where is Urin?!" one of them spat. The jackal merely chuckled as he picked out one of the other soldiers and lead him towards the interrogation room, all the while his cock pressing up against the soldier's thigh much to the man's disgust, they would learn soon enough.

Human Camp:

The soldiers were swept into a bunker below the sands, hidden surprisingly well via a holographic device of some sort. The researchers were in a tissy over such devices, especially over the man's vehicle as it hovered over the sand rather than drove, but they hadn't had any time to really dwell on the futuristic tech as the man had been irate since they'd first met him. None of them had been able to get his name yet and he still seemed quite pissed off as he led the platoon of men into his base. "What a group of idiots," he growled. None of the soldiers took very well to that as they glared at him openly, but the man ignored them as he led them down a metal corridor... though metal might not be the right word. It was some sort of stone, almost reminiscent of the black stone of the tomb, though it emanated a light blue glow.

They followed him for a while, the master sergeant being shockingly patient as he followed behind their grouchy guide... but Harris' nerves were quick to burn once the man started insulting them in thinly veiled murmurs. "Alright, jackass, we're done following you until you answer one of our damn questions!" he snarled. All of the soldiers were only too glad to stop, the researchers only managing to stop just in time so that they didn't bump into the muscled backs of the men before them. Their guide stopped with a growl as he turned upon Harris, up close the soldier saw that this man was deeply tanned, his eyes a sharp blue, and his face stuck in a perpetual scowl.

They stood there for a few minutes, the man glowering at Harris, managing to hold his ground despite the fact that he was a foot shorter than the soldier... until he finally spat. "Fine! What's your question?!" He had a husky voice, like he'd been smoking, but as far as Harris could smell there was no scent of smoke on the man.

"Who are you? Where are we? What the fuck are those monsters out there? Why is the sun not moving in the sky?" The questions were rapid fire, and it only served to irritate their guide more, but surprisingly he didn't immediately spit in Harris' face.

Taking a moment to calm himself, the man did give them a bit of an odd look as he started. "My name is Shalen, Shalen Morque. As for where we are, we are in our base, the last human resistance base... or at least we thought we were..." He eyed the soldiers warily, apparently thinking that they were part of his resistance. Now that Shalen was looking at them something seemed to dawn on him at last, a shocked expression taking place of anger, a nice change of pace in Harris' opinion. "You... truly don't know what the jackals are?" he grunted.

All of the soldiers shook their heads, Shalen looking even more shocked as Averick stepped forward, the researcher standing beside Harris. Apparently he'd taken on co-leadership of their group at some point, the master sergeant didn't like that fact, but for now he wasn't about to argue as the scientist's mind might be good in this situation. "We recognize them as jackals, we know that they're animals, but these jackals of yours don't resemble anything we've ever seen in our lives aside from myths." Averick talked about it surprisingly calmly, Harris likely would've thrown far more cussing into his explanation, after all, it tended to get the point across well enough.

Shalen was looking increasingly confused by the moment, cocking his head as he gazed at them all. "You... this doesn't make sense..." he grumbled. With that he turned on his heel and started off down the hall at speed, the soldiers jumped in surprise at the man's retreat, and though Harris didn't like the idea of going deeper he didn't want to lose their one connection in this strange situation. So with a sigh he took off after the other man, everybody else falling in line as they started after Shalen, all the while the man was muttering to himself.

The hallway started to split off into multiple hallways along the way, halls leading off in random directions to unknown locations, but none of the soldiers were interested in those, they kept their eyes on the back of their guide. Further along the way though they did pause a bit as more humans started to mill around the halls, they looked upon the soldiers with shock and awe, all of them dressed in robes of some sort. The women dressing in less revealing attire, reminding Averick of cultures that would sanctify women's bodies. The men on the other hand wore clothing that allowed for quick movement, rather alike those worn by greeks and romans, he couldn't help but marvel at all the ideas that had been tossed together in this odd land.

Throwing a pair of doors open Shalen led the procession of men into a large room full of older men, they were all gathered about a table apparently discussing something of great importance when Shalen stormed in. There was a chorus of shouts and curses... up until they saw the visitors that followed in behind Shalen, a hush fell upon the men as they gazed upon the group with shock. "Shalen, what is the meaning of this? These men... who are they, where are they from?" One of the older looking men, possibly in his late fifties early sixties stood up to address Shalen. He had a long trimmed beard, bringing images of old wizards from fantasy movies to Harris' mind, of course the master sergeant had more tact than to let the idea last for too long.

"Your lordships, I'm very sorry for the intrusion," Shalen said with a deep bow. The men seemed a little mollified by his admission of wrongdoing, but they still stared at the newcomers with intrigued eyes. "These visitors that I bring with me... well, they know extremely little of our world. I am under the belief that they might be travelers from another world, possibly the ones foretold by our oracles!" he explained breathlessly.

Harris' eyebrow rose in confusion, oracles? What kind of bullshit had they fallen into now, he was getting really tired of all the men in dresses, and he really could do with a hot bath and a cold drink. "What's going o-" Averick cut him off with a shoulder to his ribs, now under normal circumstances he would've smashed the researcher's head in with the butt of his gun... but apparently the researcher's move had saved them a great grievance as several of the older men gathered around the table were shooting them venomous looks for having spoken without being addressed.

The circle of men glanced about at one another then at their visitors, motioning for Shalen to step aside and allow the soldiers to come in closer. "Travelers from another world my ass," one of them growled. Some of them gave their compatriot a dirty look, but allowed him to continue as he sneered at the soldiers. "To me they just look like dirty vagabonds, sure they may be dressed fancily, but otherwise I see nothing impressive about them. The prophecies state that the warriors of another world could save us from the jackals, free humanity from the darkness, how could these men do anything but fall before the jackals' strength?"

Before Averick could move Harris got into the man's face and slammed a fist right into the jaw of the elder, there was an audible crack as something broke upon impact, likely the man's nose. Harris' eyes burned with anger as the other soldiers lifted their guns in quick succession as guards positioned about the room lifted their spears. "Believe me, those guns will kill you far faster than your spears will kill me," the master sergeant snarled. His hands clenched tightly with rage as the elder continued to spill blood onto the floor, meanwhile Shalen looked extremely guilty about bringing the strangers into the room.

Surprisingly though the elder that Harris had punched didn't yell at him, nor did he look too upset, instead he looked impressed as he pulled his nose back into place with a painful pop. "Well... looks like I might've been wrong after all," he chuckled weakly. All the while Averick and his fellow researchers had covered their faces up, not wanting to see the bloodshed... but they lowered their hands as they realized they weren't about to be killed by the guards.

Pulling himself to the table with another elder's help, the man chuckled as he wiped away some blood. "Been a while since someone had the balls to attack me... well it looks like we may actually have some strong allies for the first time in a while. Now why don't you sit down at the table while your men get some rest, I think we have some things to talk about," the elder chuckled, gesturing for Harris to sit. The master sergeant hesitated before gesturing at his men to lower their weapons, despite the lingering threat of the guards with their spears they did so after a sharp look from Harris.

Averick and Harris stayed behind while the rest of the group were led to rooms they could rest in for the night, or rather what passed for night in this odd world they'd landed in. While Averick couldn't find the idea of another world that realistic he couldn't deny that they'd been transported somewhere by the tomb, and though he wasn't excited about this situation it was clear they didn't have much of a choice otherwise. He put aside his doubts for the moment as the elders started speaking to them, and they were in for a long night of talking as the elders settled themselves down to discuss the prophecy and what it held for the soldiers and researchers.

Sleeping Quarters:

Many of the men had nightmares that night, nightmares of the jackals chasing after them, nightmares of themselves being turned into those brutal and strange creatures, and nightmares of never returning home again. Some of them cried themselves to sleep out of fear, they wouldn't show it before their fellow soldiers, they wouldn't dare, but still they couldn't push back their own fears. A few of them were angered by Terrence's betrayal, true it might not have been his intention, but it stung nonetheless. Anybody who tried to peek on them out of interest tended to leave in a hurry at the soldiers were in no mood to talk to each other, let alone strangers.

Some of the men tried their cell phones out of curiosity, not sure if they might be able to reach home, but the phones merely gave them an out of service rang message. Some of them took their cameras off and recorded themselves speaking to their families that they might never seen again, just out of a sense of desperation, and the rest threw themselves into sleep in the hopes of release for a while longer. The nightmares proved them wrong though, many of htem stayed away through the night to escape the dark dreams, waiting for the moment that the master sergeant would call them.

As for the researchers neither of them were doing very well, they'd both been excited at first, but neither had been prepared for anything like this. Being in a tomb for a few hours they understood, they were used to ancient civilizations and oddities, but to be thrust into another world entirely was too much for the scholars. As all the soldiers coped in their various ways the researchers tried their best, but they didn't succeed quite as well, or at least Quinn didn't.

Warren leaned back in his bed, his eyes closed tight, his fists clenched into the bedsheets underneath him willing them to be the sheets he'd left at home. He wanted to wake up in his best, this having all been an awful nightmare, and that he was just about to wake up. The man was too afraid to open his eyes though, he couldn't hear the telltale hum of electronics, he couldn't hear his cat walking about in the middle of the night, and the smell of the place didn't smell anything like his house. Still he kept his eyes closed and pretended that he was back at home just having a rough night of sleep, and maybe somehow he'd convince himself that when he opened his eyes he'd be back home...

Quinn on the other hand had dropped to the side of his bed and had his head buried in his hands, whispering fervently, a small cross held between his hands. He hadn't been to church for years, he'd never thought it that important, and yet he'd always had a cross at his neck... just in case. One never knew when they'd need god at their side, and right now Quinn desperately needed god, he was practically shouting in his mind even as he whispered prayers and requests for saving. He wasn't pretending that he wasn't in some sort of other world, he was only hoping that god might allow him access back to his world. Kneeling there Quinn knew that he didn't even know anybody in the group, Averick was just an acquaintance, Warren was a colleague, and the soldiers were all assholes as far as he was concerned. The world around Quinn had gone insane with all of the monsters and these humans who didn't bother to wear civilized clothing, he had been dropped into hell.

"Save me, get me out of here, deliver me, whatever you have to do!" Quinn prayed as hard as he could with his hands digging into the cross. At some point he fell asleep, he didn't know when, but he exhausted himself with the fervance of his pleads, pouring his entire body's energy into the act. By the time he was embraced by darkness he hoped that when he awoke he would be gone from this place. All about soldiers and researchers alike fell into restless sleeps while Averick and Harris worked through the night until they too collapsed in beds for rest, though they too had nightmares.

God's Chambers

Sitting upon a golden throne God looked regal as ever, his body a glorious body of muscle, his eyes gleaming golden, and gathered about him was his personal harem. They all wore golden masks, featureless things, as none of them were allowed to gaze upon him, though they all felt his presence at all times. They moaned and crooned as they cheered his name, sucking on his shaft, licking his feet, and doing all they could to keep him happy. The jackal god was deep in thought at that moment though even as one of his many slaves rubbed at his shoulders, working away the tension within the muscles. Humans had entered into his world somehow, he'd long thought the humans completely gone, he'd gone out of his way to clear away all of them so that only his image resided there... but now humans were appearing once more.

In his cells each of the humans had succumbed to his power, giving up all they knew so they could be embraced by his love, to become closer to God. All of them had praised his name in the end, God had personally viewed their confessions of loyalty to him via a magic spell, he'd been excited to watch it. It had been four hundred years since the last of the humans had become his, four hundred years the world had been stuck under an eternal sun, all the jackals having become immortal like God. There was no boredom, after all at all times the jackals were striving to get closer to God, to bask under his glory. Of course some of the excitement died for God himself as he had nothing to chase, all of the humans obeyed his every whim, and now here more humans stumbled into the desert with alien weapons and strange clothing.

Tapping a finger on his throne God called out mentally, his throne room shivering slightly, the obsidian ringing deep with his power. All of the slaves let out a moan as they felt his energy, they couldn't hear his summons, only priests could, but they certainly felt his energy. Moments later the doors to the room opened, God smirked as a priest entered the room. Unlike the slaves he did not wear a mask for he was one of God's personal tools, as far as God was concerned the priests were an extension of him, filled with his personal essence.

That being said, this priest had been with God the longest and as such was adorned with ten holy relics, one more than any of his other priests. As such he'd been granted a modicum of self control, nothing that would make him useless to God, but enough to have an opinion. "Your holiness," the priest said with a deep bow. It showed how highly God saw himself when the priests were copies of him, they didn't have his power of course, but their bodies were mirrors of his own, and as such he often loved to play with them as he found the concept sexy.

"Humans have returned," God said simply. The priest merely nodded, he knew that the deity had more to say than just that. "According to the newly converted jackals they came here through a tomb, apparently it has disappeared, but I have a feeling that this may be the start of something interesting, priest."

"Indeed, your holiness. I have not seen you this pleased in many years," the priest said with a smile. Since the conversion of the guards God had begun humming, a beautiful sound that caused everyone about his palace to swoon with delight.

A smirk played across God's features as he looked down upon his priest with a knowing glint in his eyes. "Oh yes, this is something new, something I haven't seen in a very long time. Rebellion, whether they know it or not, they've rebelled by existing, priest. Something so quaint in the past, but now..." A shiver ran over his body, eagerness clear in his rigid posture as he grinned wide. "I have new humans to hunt down, perhaps a large amount of them, and I'm very ready to take a bite out of them," he chuckled.

Grinning up at God the priest had a perfect reflection of the jackal deity's expression, lacking the grand glowing of the eyes, but otherwise a flawless duplicate. "How shall we start then, my liege?"

"Send out all guards in the city, it's time to comb the entire desert, from end to end. We will find these humans and squash them, and I will see them all succumb to my glory," the God laughed. All of the slaves moaned and came in tandem as his joy caused them orgasmic pleasure, soon leaving them all writhing on the floor in pleasure while the priest bowed deeply and started for the door. "First though, priest," the jackal stopped before he reached the doors, "my courtiers appear to have gone a bit numb in the legs... I think you need to service your king before you leave."

An eager look passed over the priest's face as he turned back to his king and bowed deeply once more, his shaft already fully erect. "Of course, your highness."

City Limits:

Harris couldn't believe he'd been talked into this, the master sergeant along with all three researchers and a few of his soldiers at their sides. Shalen along with one of the elders walked before them, looking far too confident for the soldier's liking. "This can't possibly work," he growled. Held in his hand was a plain white mask, though running through the backside of the mask were lines of blue circuitry... or at least what appeared to be circuitry. Here in this world rather than using any sort of conventional electronics or machines the remaining members of humanity had developed devices that incorporated magic, they operated rather closely to machines as they understood them, and yet they have more mystical origins that Harris didn't understand.

Averick had coined the term magitech, something he'd apparently heard of in sci-fi movies and games, Harris just called him a nerd, and yet the term had stuck throughout the ranks and from the other researchers. The mask in their hands was one of these magitech doohickies, and as far as Harris was concerned it wouldn't save them from anything, but Shalen disagreed. "Do not worry, Harris," he said. The master sergeant snapped at him for using his name, but Shalen had long since proven that he didn't give a flying fuck what the master sergeant thought, and so continued on. "Our men have walked through the capital before, these masks provide a disguise for us against any jackals. Of course this protection likely won't hold up any serious scrutiny, and certainly wouldn't protect us against a priest's vision, but as long as he stay quiet and inconspicuous we should be fine," he explained.

Of course none of the men believed that up front, it was a rather marvelous idea, but as far as they were concerned it was a lie. So Shalen slipped on the mask, in front of the humans' eyes it did nothing for them, it merely looked like he was wearing a white mask. While the others hid away behind some nearby dunes their guide walked right in front of one of the many jackal guards that protected the boundaries... and strolled right past him without a second glance. The elder chuckled as he noticed their looks of shock before slipping his own mask on, with doubtful looks the rest slipped the masks on and strolled behind the elder into the city.

Jackals poured about them like ants in an ant hill, the capital was absolutely seething with jackals, many of them busily attending to their day to day chores. There were farmers, builders, even blacksmiths, and they all went about their jobs with vigor, all in the name of their God. Averick watched on with interest, always following behind Shalen, eying the processes curiously, but for the most part it was almost boring with how ordinary the jackals acted. There were only males, Averick pondered if any of the females had been transformed into males, but didn't ask Shalen was he was afraid asking such questions might attract unwanted attention. This world seemed to run just as the normal world ran, these apparently immortal beings still needed food, they needed builders, they needed the blacksmiths, it was normal city aside from the fact that there were priests in many parts of the city, channeling the power of God.

Harris was determined to keep his hand on his sidearm on his side at all times, he knew that it might not be the best idea, but if for some reason the mask failed he wasn't going to be caught without at least trying to take out a few of the bastards in the process. The guards were all certainly of interest to him, they maintained a peace amongst the jackals, while they were all obedient to their God they were still certainly fallible creatures. He witnessed a few fights break out here or there, somebody trying to cheat a trader, a few trying to prove their dominance. As far as the military man was concerned, everyone was a risk, and he was willing to shoot anyone who looked like they were noticing the group.

Their masks worked perfectly though so none of them had to pull out their weapons on a dime, they merely scanned the perimeter and witnessed the city's inhabitants day to day activities. Averick felt a bit ill as he realized that all of these creatures were once human, were human over four hundred years ago according to the legends of Shalen's people, and had become these strange monsters. He witnessed the buildings about them, they appeared to almost be skyscrapers, reminiscent of his own world... and yet they resembled egyptian architecture far more, set with black obsidian and golden inlay.

Walking through the city Averick had to remind himself the reason they were there, they weren't there just for sight seeing or for studying of the jackals, but rather an important mission. First of all he wanted some sort of reference guide to the language, none of the humans today recognized the written language of the Gods as it was called, so Averick hoped that there may be some sort of scroll of sorts that might help them understand. Second of all was to get their hands on the prophecy, the humans had a butchered version of it, but from how vague it was the humans could only assume that it may be written somewhere in the city. The prophecy had been foretold at the very beginning of the jackal deity's rise, when he was only a small power becoming a growing threat.

The humans had a city here once, buried below the city, and likely there was still ways into the human ruins, or at least Averick and the other researchers hoped there were. He'd been hesitant to bring along the soldiers, three of them along with the master sergeant were a lot of firepower and not a whole lot of use. The lead researcher was concerned that they might bring a tidal wave of jackal firepower down upon them, but as of yet they'd yet to be spotted and he could only hope that it would stay that way. Shalen gestured for them to follow him into a darker alley, leading them aside as a procession of guards walked down the street they'd been wandering down, in the middle of them a priest walked. They all gazed upon him with their hackles raised, the elder in particular shivered in fear, as if he might fall apart at the slightest breath of a wind.

"The priests change positions throughout the day," Shalen whispered into Averick's ear, "they shout praises and information about God as they travel. Sometimes daily news, other times stories of his achievements." The voice of the priest was loud, easily carrying over the noises of the working bodies, his every word filled with awe and deep excitement.

"Our lord God has always been a great and benevolent god, imparting his most holy of forms upon us undeserving masses, showing us the greatness of the male flesh, and giving us immortal life! We are good to praise his name, shout his glory, and suckle upon his juices where he imparts them!" There were cheers from the crowd as the priest passed, praising God, shouting how great he was, and generally glorifying in his presence. Quinn looked on in disgust, how dare the jackals pretend that the jackal demon was anything like his god, his god was pure, and this pretender was a disgusting monster! He nearly yelled out against the priest's words... but restricted himself, knowing that doing so would only drag the jackals' attention onto them.

Part of Quinn knew that this was insane, he'd never been any sort of devout religious man before, but the insanity and stress of the situation had pushed him towards the only thing he could feasibly grasp onto. None of the others had really noticed the change, after all he'd hardly spoken since leaving his sleeping quarters earlier that day. His hand had been drifting towards the cross at his neck several times and he found himself internally praying that he would leave soon, that this would prove to be just another obstacle in his life, once he returned home he'd go to church first thing.

Warren had been surprised by his own interest of exploring the jackal capital as he'd been so disappointed to find himself in the world still when he'd finally woken, but he didn't let the fact drag him down. The researcher had noticed that Quinn had been oddly quiet since he'd come out of his bedroom, but aside from that he'd been merely paying attention to himself and their mission. He wanted to get back home, and Averick had presented a decent chance at escaping by giving this prophecy a glance, so here they were.

The group moved along once the priest and the guards had moved on, Quinn glaring back at the priest briefly before following the rest of the group. Everyone was too intent on their goal to pay it any mind, they all were stuck in their heads, hoping that this might be a way to get back home. The soldiers that followed Averick and Harris were those who couldn't be doing nothing, so they'd been glad to volunteer to do something rather than just cooling their heels back at the human base.

After a decent amount of time wandering through the streets of the capital Shalen soon led them to an unused section of the city, shockingly quiet after all of the busy streets they'd escaped. There were a few jackals hidden away in the corners of the deserted roads, but they all seemed to be in various acts of sex. The men averted their eyes at the open show of sexual intercourse, the moans following them as they walked down the roads until they came across a large portion of ground that was gated off. Beyond the gate they could see stairs leading deep into the ground, leading off into the depths of the city that had been ruled by humans once upon a time. "How are we going to get in?" Harris grunted.

The elder stepped forward this time, the first time he'd really done anything, honestly the soldiers had thought him dead weight until now. He pulled from deep within his robes a key, it had an odd pronged end, and as far as all of the men could see there was no hole to slide into the gate, and yet he held it out anyways. "This is a key only we elders may use, it unlocks any door, no matter what power holds it shut."

Raising an eyebrow Warren stepped forward, the others glancing at him as his eyes were wide with awe. "A... any door?" he grunted. The elder didn't dignify this with anything but a nod, looking down at the door constantly.

"It does not come without a price though, by using it you do drain your life force a substantial amount. I was sent along as... I don't have much time left." All of the men went quiet as they looked at him, even Shalen looked surprised, his body stiffening up before he stepped forward to say something, but the elder merely stared him down. Even with the mask his power could be felt through the mask, he was not going to be swayed, and so all of the men stepped back and allowed him to get on with his task.

The process was shockingly fast, with a simple turn of the key the gate swung open, everyone blinked at the suddenness... and then they realized the elder was gone. Everyone watched as the key fell along with his clothing and the mask he'd been wearing. Nobody said anything as they watched the key clatter to the floor, eyes wide, mouths agape as they realized the elder... was gone. Shalen was the first to move, his mask impassive as he leaned down and picked up the key, saying nothing as he held onto it tightly. "We'd best get going," he said. The man's voice was hoarse, it was obvious he was holding back tears, but in this case nobody said anything as they all started down the stairs into the underground.

The Desert

Guards and juggernauts wandered the desert looking for the entrance of the human's base, their God's words beating into their heads constantly. "Find the hidden humans, I demand it!" The priest had spoken to all of them and had been very firm in his demands, and the jackals had no inclination to fail him, so they combed every inch of the nearby desert. All about they were digging through the sands, hours spent looking for something they couldn't find, and several times they litterally walked right in front of the base's entrance and yet they didn't see them. Of course the soldiers within looked on in concern, feeling tempted to shoot them, but they were restrained by the other humans.

Apparently the humans had developed a magitech similar to the ones like the masks to obscure their location, no jackal would be able to find it. Even if a member of the humans having been transformed and knowing exactly where it was would be incapable to touch it even if they knew the exact location. Their minds would make them move away from the door, as such their base was perfectly hidden from the jackals' reach. Still it was extremely concerning for the jackals to be so close to their front door, and they found themselves hoping that the humans in the city might find something interesting of note...

The Libraries

Within the old ruins of society underneath the capital the amount of information found there was unbelievably vast amount of scrolls spread throughout the buildings that lay underneath. Part of Averick wondered why the scrolls hadn't been burned sooner, why instead it had merely been locked away... unless the humans themselves had locked it. The researcher didn't have an answer though, and quite frankly it didn't feel important at that moment as he started to dig through scroll after scroll, searching for the right information they were looking for. Within an hour he'd been surprised to find the most important piece of knowledge they'd needed, a translation guide, it was rough and seemed to have some blank spots, but Averick was shocked to find that it had connections with ancient egyptian.

The soldiers watched as the researchers started correlating the symbols to those in egyptian, scribbling things down on pieces of paper, working themselves into a buzz as they figured out this language that had eluded them so long. In the meantime Harris and the soldiers patrolled the areas, making sure that nobody came sneaking up on them, but even after an hour there was no sign of anybody the city save for rats and rodents. The halls of the underground went on for miles with scrolls and even tablets further down, part of Harris was concerned they would be spending far too much time down there when he heard a call of his name from Averick. While his three soldiers continued to glance around he went back to find the researchers having left behind the translation guide, a thick sheaf of paper sitting on the desk looked to have been compiled of all of their notes, and now they were pouring over a new scroll with tightly written lines.

"What is this?" he grunted.

Averick had to pull himself away from the paper with apparent strain as he glanced up at the soldier with eager glowing eyes. "This is what we were looking for, or at least we assume it is, any information on the original prophecy seems to be extremely sketchy as nobody was seriously writing around that time. A historian was hiding away though down here in the tombs during the jackal invasion, he wrote as much as he could before he went into hiding and locked the tombs behind him." He traced his hand over the lines, the other two researchers cringing at the motion, but there were no smudges or blots. "The people of this world preserved all of their paper in magic so that it would never fall apart, really impressive actually..." he murmured.

Letting out a growl Harris clapped a hand on the table, glaring at Averick with undisguised anger. "I don't care how good they are at preserving history, I want to know what it says! We're in enemy territory here, Benson, not in one of your precious dig sites!" For a moment they glared at one another, neither of them backing down, and it grew increasingly uncomfortable until Averick finally sniffed loudly.

Looking down at the paper Averick gestured to some of the symbols, Harris didn't pretend to understand what they said, he merely followed along while Averick started speaking. "I'm not going to give you the complete one for one reading, there's a lot of politics and small details in here that relate to the time they were written, we don't need to know about it. But what is interesting is the fact that he writes about the initial summoning of God, apparently at the time of writing this he was originally a minor deity, oen that hardly mattered in the day to day running of the world. Nobody thought of him much aside from the fact that he existed, from what I've read he may have been a sort of god of masculinity or fertility, it's pretty vague, but I imagine from what we've seen both might apply."

Harris nodded in agreement, the sex and testosterone in the air certainly would lend themselves to such a god. "The men that summoned him were politicians of some sort as far as I can tell, possibly advisors or courtiers, who decided that they were tired of the current system. They called upon the jackal god after finding his true name."

"Do we have that?" Shalen asked suddenly. The man's eyes were wide as he leaned in closer, glancing at the words trying to glean information from them. "If we have that we can control him!" he said excitedly.

The researcher shook his head though, gesturing at the wear of the paper. "Even though this paper has been magically protected it appears that it still wears even so. I'm not sure if the magic merely slows the aging process or if the magic in the city from the jackals weakens it, but the name is worn away," he said sadly. Shalen sagged at those words, stepping back with a defeated expression while the master sergeant gestured for Averick to continue on. "The advisors managed to summon him, demanding that he aided them in taking control of the city. He agreed, but the men were foolish, they didn't give him enough constraints, and once they allowed him out from the circle he obeyed their wishes, but first he turned all of them into completely obedient jackal slaves."

Everyone shivered at the thought of it, Warren shaking his head in shock as he glanced over the words. "They summoned him... and yet he turned them into slaves?"

"He promised them to take over the city, and so he did so with them as his own subordinates. Without them nobody could banish the deity, and as such he started taking over the city in leaps and bounds, turning more and more people into his slaves, turning them into jackals who would do anything for him. It took years, but the jackal managed to spread his influence over the city and then over the world. Humanity died off as the jackals grew in number, and close to the end of this writer's time writing he said that an oracle gave a prophecy." Averick paused as he read it over, comparing the writing on the paper to those in his notes and scowled. "Just for quick reference even here the prophecy is vague, it doesn't give any concrete words, so I'll give the best definition I can."

The others nodded, even Harris, it was clear that there was no way to push the point so they'd take what they could get. "When everything seems too dark to see, the way shadowed by doubt, humanity will enter the world once more and be cleansed of darkness," he said. Everyone waited for the researcher to say more, but that was it, Averick frowned as he leaned back and stared at the paper. "That's it," he grunted.

Nobody seemed very pleased with that answer, Harris looked downright pissed, but all of them knew that there was no point in throwing a fit so they packed up. They grabbed more scrolls from the walls, picked up their translation notes, grabbed the prophecy scroll, and got out of the library. None of them were sad to see it go as they'd found the place cold, moldy, and just a little creepy. "We can only assume that the darkness the prophecy refers to is the jackal god," Averick said finally.

Everyone looked at the researcher as his face was screwed up in thought, Averick tapping his lower chin as he continued to think on it. "So... we were right, you're all here to save us from the darkness," Shalen said with baited breath. "You all entered from another world, you're here to bring us into the light," he giggled. They all put on their masks as they entered the streets once more, but his body language expressed to them all that he was overjoyed.

Harris knew that it wasn't a for sure answer, after all it could just mean that the men from the other world would leave this hellish place and leave the darkness behind. The soldier knew better than to say that though, he did know though that there was a chance to leave now... and so he drew close to Averick. Apparently the other soldiers had the same idea as they brought it up as all of them grew close together, Shalen just out of hearing distance. Warren and Quinn trailing behind, trading information on their findings of the runes, out of the loop. "That key, we can use it to get home!" one of the soldiers hissed.

"Once we get it we can get the fuck out of here! This hell will be behind us," another soldier laughed. The group broke out of the alleys and into one of the squares, all around them the day's events went on, jackals running errands, guards looking on impassively, and a priest in the middle of it all going on about God. Now Shalen wasn't a dumb man, he didn't hear everything, but he heard about a key and grew concerned as he turned to face the others.

Everyone bunched up into a circle, the soldiers and Harris looking to Shalen while Averick scowled heavily. "This isn't the time to be..." he started.

"Stuff it, Benson," Harris growled. Glaring at Shalen now the soldier sniffed as he stepped forward, Shalen backing off and looking about himself for an escape... but it wouldn't be so easy. The other soldiers were looking antsy about using their weapons, and all about jackals were too close for comfort. "Give us the key, Shalen. That key can be used to let us go home, if it can seriously open any lock, the tomb should open right up. We don't need to get violent, but if you don't give us the key..." The threat hung in the air as his hand hovered over his weapon, eyes glaring through his mask and into Shalen's own blank mask.

While the soldiers and Shalen were having their argument Warren was looking antsy, hoping that nobody would notice them, but a few guards were already peering curiously their way. He attempted to warn the others, but none of them appeared to be listening, even Quinn was curiously absent looking as he was gazing out at the priest. Over the racket the men were creating he was shouting his praises and worships of god, Quinn was absentmindedly rubbing the cross at his neck in the process. "Guys, we have to get moving," Warren tried to call out, but nobody heard him.

"GOD SHALL PROVIDE FOR ALL, SHOW ALL THE TRUE GLORY OF ETERNITY, WE ARE IMMORTAL, DEATH HOLDS NO HOLD ON OUR BODIES! WE ARE FOREVER YOUTHFUL, FOREVER SEXY, AND FOREVER HIS SERVANTS!" Quinn scowled as he listened to it, ignoring the others as he listened on, hand constantly rubbing at the golden chain and slightly shaking his head... and yet he continued to listen on. "WE ARE ALL ONE LARGE HAREM FOR GOD, ALWAYS WITHIN HIS REACH, ALWAYS AT HIS BECK AND CALL. ONE DAY YOU TOO MIGHT BE CALLED TO HIS SIDE, TO PRAISE HIM, TO WORSHIP HIS BODY, AND TO BE ONE OF HIS SACRED COURTIERS." A sliver of something wormed into Warren, he didn't know what, but... he stopped rubbing his cross as he cocked his head. He didn't realized that the priest's were at all times channeling the power of God, that their words carried his magic, he moaned ever so slightly as those words pressed upon his mind, waiting there, becoming a seed as his mouth gaped open underneath his mask.

Warren let out a scream as the guards surrounded them, the argument caught off as everyone looked about to look at the guards now pointing their weapons at them. The priest's tirade cut off mid sentence as he looked to see the guards surrounding the humans... and he smiled as he stepped off his plinth and started towards the humans, his footsteps ringing out loudly. "Shit, shit, shit!" Harris cursed.

"Humans, are you to submit to our God's glory!" one of the guards shouted. He grinned eagerly as they noticed with deep gulps that underneath his loincloth was an erection. "You will be risen up by our God's very own messenger," he chuckled. The priest was coming closer, but Harris' eyes darkened as he whipped out a flash grenade. Nobody was prepared for it as the blast went off, but the military man was running just as the explosion happened, his hand lashed out and grabbed onto Averick's arm, and Averick somehow caught Quinn's arm before they all stumbled off.

The guards and the priest along with the soldiers and Warren were blinded, Shalen blinked away the stars before he realized that the three were gone, and they'd been left behind. He realized with a shock that the key was gone, his hand now empty, and he cursed aloud as he realized that Harris had taken advantage of the distraction. It didn't matter though now, the priest came upon them in all of his glory, all of them shrinking back in his presence as he beat upon the air with God's power. "You..." God spoke through the priest. He gestured towards Shalen, his eyes glowing bright as he smirked. "I can see your thoughts from here, you know things, I might be able to pluck a few thoughts from that mind of yours before I make you useful. Guards, take this one, and the priest will take care of the rest."

Warren watched on in horror as Shalen was dragged off, he was shouting out for help, wanting to be saved, not wishing to become a jackal, but Warren couldn't do anything. He watched as the priest procured more holy relics, they floated above his hand, and he could do nothing as they shot out and hit each of the guards. It was shocking how fast the process was, one minute they were human, loyal, demanding to be let go or treated as prisoners of war, and the next the relics changed them. One of them became a guard, nearly identical to those surrounding them, his eyes glowing gold as he came with a moan. His clothes vanished, weapons falling to the ground, and soon he was being helped to his feet by his fellow guards, praising God already.

Another became lithe, small, and sexual, suckling on one of the guard's shafts with moans and giggles as he praised cocks and God's gift of infinite virility. The guard silenced him as he tugged the girlish jackal onto his shaft, filling the muzzle up with plenty of cock. The third guard proved shocking resiliant, trying to his last to fight the attack, even after three hit him somehow he lasted... somehow he kept his mind... but more relics hit him, five... six... a whole seven artifacts... and he ballooned in size. Warren's eyes went huge as the man became a behemoth of a creature, a monsterous jackal, any intelligence in his eyes gone, he was nearly a feral beast. Around his neck a golden collar formed as he let out a deep moan, juices leaking from his shaft as he growled. "A juggernaut, very impressive," the priest chuckled. Then his eyes lowered onto Warren, the researcher wanted to fight, wanted to be brave, wanted to get away... but he merely looked upon the priest as he felt the relics latch onto him.

An arm band, a cock ring, and a ring appeared around his newly growing tail, and Warren vanished, of course the memories of humanity remained somewhere, but they blurred away as he realized his new purpose. The new jackal stood up and bowed deeply to the guards, he was no guard, he was no fancy whore, nor a brute of a jackal, he was a farmer, he'd been given a task by God, and he planned to fulfill it. Perhaps one day he would be given a new place by God, but for now he smiled as he stroked his shaft, already walking away to find work to do in a farm. He thanked God as he came into his palm, his simple clothing hardly hiding the fact, and everybody around him patted him amiably on the back. He was another jackal in the crowd, being lost amongst the masses, and he didn't mind so much. Soon the man once known as Warren was gone, his name slipping away like water through a stream, just another jackal, one to find a mate and a home.

Human Base:

"Damn it, we lost the key!" Harris snarled as they drew up to the base. He couldn't believe it, they'd been caught, almost turned, and he hadn't even gotten the damn key! He didn't notice Quinn's oddly blank expression, nor the new bulge in Averick's pocket, he was focused on raging as they made their way back to safety. The scholar's face was grim as he focused on finding their way back to the base, jackals were out in the dunes searching for their base, but the men managed to slip past with the masks on their faces. Quinn had gone oddly quiet since they'd left the city, stumbling along behind him, his arm clutched in Averick's hand.

"Keep it down you idiot!" Averick hissed. Harris glared at him, but nodded angrily as he noticed the jackals within their proximity looking for the entrance as they were. The trio looked like they'd been run over, they'd hardly made it out of the city, and even now Averick felt ready to pass out as they'd been on their feet all day. His bag was stuffed with scrolls and papers that were banging against his side, and part of him wondered if he'd have a bruise there when he finally stopped to breathe for a moment. Part of him wondered if he should tell the master sergeant... but... he shook his head, Harris would abandon this people, he would leave them all to be trod under the foot of this evil God. For now he would let the master sergeant believe that they were trapped here, until a time when he thought it reasonable at least.

The trio found their way to the base and slipped inside, shutting the door quickly behind them, Quinn stumbling as he fell against a nearby wall. His eyes glazed over as he rubbed at the cross at his neck vaguely, murmuring something to himself, but neither of the other men really cared. They held the door shut a while longer, not knowing if any of the jackals had seen them, or seen into the base... but after a while when nobody came in they collapsed to the ground. Their bodies hurt, they were very thirsty, and guilt was hammering down on them like anvils. None of them wanted to move, but soon enough men were walking down the hall towards them, the other members of the platoon, and the humans of this world.

They gathered about the trio, and though some of the members of this world's humans were upset at the loss of the elder and Shalen, they aided in carrying the three back to their rooms. Averick confessed the loss of the three soldiers, Shalen, and Warren, saying that they hardly got out of the city. Harris mostly barked orders at men so he could feel in control of the situation, the master sergeant nearly biting through his tongue in anger as he seethed that they'd lost the key. Quinn didn't say anything to anybody, he murmured something about water, but otherwise he went to his room without much else said.

Everyone in the base was worried, some of the soldiers concerned that with Shalen having been captured it was only time before the jackals wandered upon the base. It was soon soothed though as the elders revealed to them that the magitech made it literally impossible for anybody even slightly tainted by God's relics would never be able to enter the base without a human's aid, they would have to lead the jackal in willingly. There were murmurs in the hall of concern still though, and many of the humans blamed the soldiers openly about letting Shalen be captured, but there was nothing to do but for the men to fall asleep. The elders planned to convene in the morning to figure everything out, perhaps they would move their base soon just to be safe.

???

Shalen gasped as he ran, his finger burned where the gold sat, it was so heavy, God's power was flushing through him, but he still managed to run. Somewhere in his mind there was a jackal, telling him to go back, to submit to God's energy. He blinked away tears as he shook his head rapidly, he wouldn't betray his loved ones, he was too strong! He bumped into a wall and groaned as he felt another shiver through his body, he knew he was becoming a jackal, and in his mind he could see that they'd intended him to become a courtier, so horny and ravenous for cock. His lips quivered as he thought about sucking a man's... no! He only one had one on, he didn't care how many they tried to bring him, he was still a human... at least in spirit.

He still wondered how he'd gotten away, the priests had been surrounding him, grilling him for information on the humans, but Shalen had managed to tell them to go fuck themselves. They'd slipped one of God's holy relics on him, and he'd almost caved, it had felt so good to have the ring on... but he managed to fight it. Maybe they believed that once someone had a relic on they would no longer fight, so they'd given him some room, and he'd taken that chance to run. Even now he was expecting a jackal to come get him, to come snatch him up and prepare him for his next relic. "Oh god..." he whimpered. His shaft quivered between his legs as he thought about another relic being placed upon him. "No..."

Continuing on Shalen didn't let anything stop him, he managed to avoid too many jackals, and at one point they looked right at him... but didn't do anything to stop him. He wondered why, Shalen was sure they would bring him to a priest... and then he came across a small pool of water. He looked in and his eyes widened as he saw a jackal's face looking right at him, it was small, cute looking, and quite obviously fully changed. He couldn't say anything, tears ran over his pelt of black fur, and even now he could see that his clothes were gone... why hadn't he noticed before? How had he avoided seeing such obvious changes, he was one of them!

Soon enough the jackal managed to get outside of the town, he sat down and cried softly, not sure what to do anymore. Shalen had to get back to the base... but... they wouldn't allow him in, he was a jackal now, and even though he'd fought off God's own messengers he would be considered a traitor no matter what. Shalen had to be an exile now, there was nothing else for it, he was immortal like all jackals, and unless he wanted to give up his own identity in return for a sexual whore and the chance to betray his friends he would have to live in the desert and find a new place to live. Shalen sat there for a while thinking, and then a hunger overcame him, something he'd been trying to avoid... and so he leant over with a heavy blush and started to suck himself off, surprised at his own flexibility. The jackal lost himself in the pleasure as he pushed past the thoughts of exile for now and gave into his new heightened sexual instinct.

Wandering:

Quinn was lost in his dreams, lost in God's touch, he didn't know when it happened, but his god's identity had changed. He wandered blindly, his eyes seeing nothing, his ears always tuned for god's words, but he couldn't find them. The words of the priest hovered before him, promising God's words, promising his favor, promising him sooo much. Quinn wanted to fight the thoughts, after all he was just human, but... he needed God, needed him so badly. He whimpered as he thought about not being able to be embraced by God. This new world had abandoned him, god wasn't coming to save him, so he needed to go and find a new one, one that loved him, one that would cherish him!

The man vaguely watched himself walking through the desert, he'd grabbed one of the white masks, and was making his way towards the capital. A dull smile played along Quinn's lips as he walked right past the jackal guards, they didn't seem to notice him, but why should they, he would be one of God's next beloved children! He was walking God's path, his hand worrying away at the golden piece of metal at his neck, he knew it no longer represented his new God, it wasn't the right shape, but he still kneaded it nonetheless. All about jackals walked in the light of God's sun, he wondered if God would embrace him himself, or if one of his emissaries would do so. Somewhere in the back of Quinn's mind there was a call, something telling him how wrong this was, how he was betraying all of humanity... but he didn't care, not as long as he knew he was doing God's work.

He walked right up to one of God's priests, chanting beautiful words of God's grandeur, he pulled off the mask and the priest looked at him curiously. He spoke of the humans, told the priest that he planned to lead them right to the base, in return for God's own gift. The priest's eyes glowed brightly as a sinister smile spread across his face, God looking upon Quinn, and the man shivered as he startled to giggle nervously. "Lead my men to the humans, and I will turn you into one of my personal courtier," he purred. Quinn's eyes went wide with delight as he nodded eagerly, and so the priests all over the city called to the guards and soon Quinn was leading them out of the city right to the humans.

Human Camp:

The world had become hell when Averick and Harris had awoken from their slumber, all about men and women were sprinting up and down the halls in a panic. Shouts were ringing through the air, everyone had a look of horror in their eyes, and somewhere in the camp there was a deep chanting of voices. "GOD HAS COME TO CLAIM THE SINNERS, BE READY TO PURIFY YOURSELVES IN HIS LIGHT!" Both of them knew what it meant, the jackals had somehow found their base, and so the pair managed to meet up with some of the soldiers. They tried to organize themselves, tried to find a clear way out of the base, but all of the humans throughout the base who knew it well enough were all in too much of a panic to help the off-worlders.

The elders had locked themselves in a room invisible to all but human eyes, hoping that it might keep out God's minions, they were attempting to figure out some way to save themselves. The group of men tried to figure out a way to get the jackals out of the camp, to try and save the rest of the humans... until Quinn walked in with a dull smile on his face. "My God would like to have a word with you," he chuckled. The elders watched on with wide eyes as a priest walked in, eyes glowing and smile pulled up into a nasty sneer.

"It appears that I've found the den of rats hiding in a desert, I'm glad to let you all know that I will be helping you all see the error of your ways now," God chuckled. The men all let out a shout as the holy relics formed in his hand and shot out to meet their new owners, soon the elders becoming young virile jackals, praising God's name as they were brought under heel.

All over the base such things were happening, men and women being found out by the jackals, trying to hide as best as they could, attempting to escape, but one by one they were transformed by priests all throughout the building. The soldiers, Averick, and Harris all agreed to meet up at the tomb, Averick attempting to warn Quinn of the attack, but he was unable to find his fellow researcher. So the men all tried their best to escape the camp, watching as men and women fell to the jackals, carried away one by one, soldiers falling under the weight of many guards, and all over the human camp being consumed by God's army.

The desert outside was swarming with jackals, awaiting any runaway humans, catching those misfortunate enough to run out without looking to see. Somehow Averick and Harris managed to escape, the soldier found an alternate exit created by the original humans, while Averick slipped out with a mask and a lot of luck. A few other humans escaped as well, but they wandered the desert and were soon found and brought before God's priests. The pair both made their way towards the tomb, stumbling and grunting, both of them exhausted.

Soldier and researcher alike fell to the ground in exhaustion and horror as they looked out at the desert swarming with jackals. "They're all gone..." Averick murmured. Harris nodded slowly, unable to say anything, his eyes focused on the capital with shocking dullness.

"We're stuck..." the soldier finally managed. Harris threw up his hands and nearly yelled... but found that he didn't have the energy. "Averick... we're stuck," he breathed. Averick looked at him in surprise as the master sergeant used his first name for the very first time, and he almost cried at the use of his name.

Glancing back at the tomb Averick nibbled on his lower lip... and brought out the key, shame filling him up as he held it before himself. "Actually... we're not," he mumbled. Harris glanced at him in confusion... and then saw the key, eyes widening, and mouth dropping as he looked it over.

"Is that... did you... when..." The soldier's mouth flopped a few times as he tried to discern the meaning behind the key. "Averick, when did you get that key?" Harris' voice was dark, his eyes starting to sharpen in anger as he turned them upon the researcher. "Did you... get that from Shalen?" he snarled. Averick was about to answer when a group of jackals surrounded them, six guards, all of them grinning as they shot mock salutes at the pair.

"Master sergeant, we're here to escort you to God ourselves!" one of them chuckled. For the moment Harris' anger was redirected as he noticed the jackal holding a pair of dog tags marking him as one of his soldiers.

Stumbling to his feet the master sergeant scowled, glaring at the jackals one after another, seeing them all holding a pair of dog tags. "You... you're all my soldiers, you're American soldiers! You're to obey my orders and stand down!" he snarled. Harris expected them to obey, after all they were all highly trained soldiers, so he was shocked when they just laughed at him.

One of them, a marine by the look of his dog tag, grinned savagely at Harris. "Harris, we don't serve any human army anymore. God has shown us the error of our ways, we were sinners, and he has saved us from our mortal bodies! Now we've been given permission to take you right to him, ya see, sir. He was impressed at how you two got away, we told him how great of a soldier you are, Harris. As for the researcher, Averick managed to break apart the language code of the ancient language, and God is very interested to meet him. So, sir, whether you like it or not you're coming with us," he chuckled.

Harris pulled out a pistol to shoot at them, but was shocked at how fast the jackals moved, pinning both him and Averick to the ground with ease. "Sorry 'bout that, but like we said, you're coming to meet God, and you'll see the light soon too, sir," a jackal hissed in Harris' ear. The pair tried to free themselves from the jackals' clutches, but it was no use, and soon they were being marched towards the capital for their meeting with God.

***

God's Kingdom:

The hallways were made of gold, obsidian stone, and lots of silk, it was disgustingly tacky in Averick's opinion as they were marched through the building. The air was heavily scented with male musk, apparently God didn't much care for perfumes, and instead basked in the male scent. All over God's palace were jackals, these ones were different than the ones outside in the capital were though, all of the courtiers wore golden masks, apparently blinded, but finding one another through scent. They were busy massaging one another, fucking, or singing songs about God's greatness. It was a disgusting show of how perverted and narcissistic that this God really was, and yet he was slightly intrigued at what show he would see once they met God.

Harris on the other hand noticed the guards, these ones were far different from the regular table, they had markings upon their bodies, golden symbols that matched up with those of the ancient script. When he asked Averick about them the researcher looked at them and just shook his head. "This isn't any language I know, it's... something else. I dunno but it hurts my eyes to try to read it, and those guards don't look very pleased at our presence..." Harris had to concede the point, the glowing marks upon the jackals' bodies were rather unpleasent to look at, and the guards were intimidating even to him. They stood at a good eight feet, were marbled muscle, and their eyes seemed to track the pair's every movement as they were marched down the hall.

A priest met them as they were on their way down a huge hall, he smirked as he had the pair of guards stop, his eyes were glowing golden showing that God currently used the priest. "Enjoying my palace? Hardly any humans have ever seen this without being transformed, only those very interesting to me," he chuckled. Gesturing to the guards he smirked as he noted the humans' confusion. "I'm sure you've noticed these guards, they aren't normal, they're my personal Royal Guard, different than the normal sort. They've had spells imprinted on their bodies by myself, making them stronger, gifting them with my commands for any jackal to listen to them, and completely and utterly obedient to me," he chuckled.

"Doesn't sound much different than any other jackal," Harris hissed.

The priest chuckled as they started moving once more, his steps confident as he led them towards the giant pair of doors at the end of the hallway. "Oh it's much different, I assure you, you see most of my subjects are merely directed by my priest's words, none of them are actually in connection with me, they couldn't handle it. The priests and royal guards though are different, the guards' will is connected to my own, so that I may direct them in an instant, while the priests... well, you'll see soon enough," he sniggered. Something about that didn't cheer either of them up, and soon the doors were opened to let the pair in.

The priest walked in first, while the guards led Averick and Harris before God. The priests didn't look upon him though, having their heads bowed the entire time, and once the humans were in they rushed out and allowed the doors to shut behind them. The trio were now left in a throne room, it was a decent sized room with red silk all over making the room feel very warm and surprisingly comforting to them. Set around the walls were royal guards, all glaring at the pair, and before them was God himself, a glorious being sitting on a huge throne.

All about God were thralls, all of them basking in his glory, suckling on his feet, kissing his hands, one of them licking his cock and balls. The priest walked over to his side, grinning wide as he stroked himself off. He faced the pair of humans from God's side as the two tried to take the entire room in at once, their heads aching as they noticed that the jackal deity gave off an aura of power. "Jesus christ... the freaks are all getting off..." Harris grunted. Averick nodded in disgust as he saw that all of the jackals in the room, royal guards included, were rock hard.

Averick noticed that the priest and God looked exactly alike, every part of him... though the priest didn't have everything, God wore a harness upon his upper chest, and he also wore a few more trinkets than the priest did. The priest's eyes also didn't glow nearly as bright as God's did, the deity was truly a power upon the world, his very presence beating upon everything. "Look upon me, not many humans get the chance," the priest chuckled. God wasn't bothering to talk to them, apparently he thought himself too good or something. "Do you enjoy seeing what happened to your friend?" the priest chuckled. God vaguely gestured towards the jackal suckling eagerly at his balls, moaning and cumming on the silks beneath him.

"S... Shalen?" Averick gasped. Stepping forward as he clenched his hands, guilt welling up once more, but God actually looked a bit confused.

"No..." the priest said. God seemed to think it over for a moment before having the priest continue. "This is the one known as Quinn, he was the one who led my people into your hiding spot," God purred. "Due to this, I've given him the high honor of being one of my personal harem," he chuckled.

Both Averick and Harris looked stunned at this revelation, looking at Quinn with disgust, the jackal wearing a golden mask like the rest of the harem as they threw themselves at the God with vigor. "That bastard!" Harris roared. He pulled a pistol from his pocket and very nearly shot at the jackal, but one of the royal guards moved with insane speed, far faster than any regular living being, and destroyed the gun in one slice of his blade. The soldier's eyes went wide as the royal guard returned to his spot in an instant, hardly flashing in the movement.

Averick looked disgusted at his fellow researcher, hands shaking in rage as he bit his lip. "You... betrayed us, how could you, Quinn?" The jackal didn't respond though, he didn't seem to recognize his own name any longer, he was lost in his rapture at being at God's feet.

"Do not worry about him, he is of no consequence to you two, you see I have very important roles for the both of you," God cut in. While the pair wanted to get out, they found themselves currently boxed in by the jackals of the room and the sharp presence of God. "I have been told of your accomplishments by the members of your warriors," God explained. Harris seethed as he realized that God meant the soldiers that had been part of his platoon, now traitors, or at least as far as he was concerned.

"What did they tell you?" Averick asked. Though the researcher was concerned for his own wellbeing he couldn't help but ask, his hands shivering slightly as he looked God in the eyes, the bright golden orbs making his head ache.

God smirked as he leaned forward, all of his harem letting out whimpers as they found themselves moving, but they continued to nuzzle and fawn over his body. "Wait your turn, scholar, your warrior friend is first," the priest said. Suddenly Averick was being held back by a pair of royal guards, the two that had been guarding the doors stepped out and held him while Harris was now front and center. "You are a great warrior, I have been told this by your warriors, and I can see it in your eyes even now. You are facing God himself, and yet you don't shiver an inch," he purred.

Part of the master sergeant wanted to help Averick, the other part told him to rush God and punch the bastard. When Harris tried to move though he found himself incapable of doing so, his body was no longer obeying him, now he was forced to look right into those bright golden eyes. "Let's fight and see how great of a warrior I am," Harris spat.

The jackal deity merely smirked as he held up a hand and several golden relics appeared above his palm, seven gleaming pieces, silver, gold, rubies, diamonds, and sapphires gleamed out at Harris as God chuckled. The sound rang through the room, Harris' hair standing on edge as he looked at them with a growing sense of concern. "I do not fight with simple mortals, do not worry, Harris." The word spoken by God, even if it was from a priest, was incredibly concerning. The master sergeant glanced at the holy relics with a growing sense of unease, the pieces starting to float towards him, and then spinning around him all the while God staring intensely at him. "You have been proclaimed such a grand warrior, I cannot simply waste your efforts on becoming a simple guard, so I have decided to turn you into a member of the royal guard."

"No," Harris snarled. His lips hardly moved though, he found that his body was paralyzed, he couldn't move a muscle, and now that he was so close to God he was... terrified. "I won't join you..."

"You do not have a choice, warrior. I have chosen you for my personal guard, and as such you will be a royal guard, and you will praise my name. You know what? I will even be so gracious as to let you lick my foot for the day, such an honor I've heard is orgasmic," God chuckled. With that he clenched his hand and Harris' eyes went wide as seven holy relics slid onto his body, one after another, without his permission.

The man jolted as he felt them become one with him, Harris knew deep within him that these weren't just pieces of jewelry as he'd first assumed, they were one with the jackals, parts of them, connecting them to God. It was like the truth was being forced into him, his mind being overrun with thoughts, truth, absolute truth that he was a jackal under the control of God. He gasped aloud as his body changed, the seven pieces of God's power turning him in an instant, his chest growing immensely larger, his body growing taller in an instant, his ass growing black and furry as a tail grew out above it. New knowledge was pressed into his head, fighting styles that he never knew existed, the way to use a sword perfectly, how to fight with a spear, how to take down any enemy of God.

Averick's eyes were wide in terror as he watched the master sergeant, a mighty man, be turned into one of the jackals. The human man was intimidating enough, but one minute he was a mere man, and the next he was a giant jackal, a muscled beast, glorious in all he was, and all about him were pieces of jewelry. "Harris! Fight it, you have to fight it!" he roared. If Harris heard him though he didn't reply, he was lost in God's eyes, as Harris had never broken eye contact, even when he let out a shout, he was apparently absorbed in the magic.

Master sergeant Harris felt every single piece of God's magic that had attached itself to him, he felt the piecing in his nose, the two piercings in his ears, the ring affixed around the base of his shaft, the band around his huge arm, the ring in his nipple, and the band around his neck. It all called to him, told him that he belonged to God, that he was one of his jackals. He had been risen beyond human, he was a jackal, one of God's beings, part of him almost orgasmed at that alone. He was erect, so fucking hard, he was gay, all of God's beings were, and yet... some part of him still struggled, tried to fight it off.

In his head Harris realized that he wasn't alone anymore, no, it wasn't just him, it was all of the royal guard, every single one, all of them speaking in one synchronized voice. "OBEY GOD, PROTECT GOD, FUCK FOR GOD, FIGHT FOR GOD, LIVE IN ETERNITY FOR GOD." Though the soldier wanted to block the sound out it wasn't going to happen, all of them were in his head, he was no longer alone, he wasn't allowed to be, being alone meant independent thought, he was a royal...

"No..." the new jackal whispered. He couldn't admit it, if Harris admitted that he was a royal guard then he would be lost, he would be absorbed into them and never get free. He was standing stock still before God and he couldn't move, couldn't get away from his fierce gaze, he didn't even realize that his eyes had become a bright golden color like all of the other jackals. In a few mere instants he'd become just like the rest of the royal guard, save for the fact that he didn't have their markings on his impeccable body yet, but already God was smiling as he rose his finger and it started to glow with a bright golden aura.

Harris had started on the outside of the voices, he wasn't in the group of the jackals yet, he was looking at the royal guards... and then he was among them. All around in his mental space the soldier could only see jackals for miles, all of them looking forward, looking at something splendid. Despite his own hesitance the jackal's eyes followed theres, and he could see what they were looking at, an enormous effigy of God, his splendid body, his perfection, and his amazing grin. He couldn't tear his eyes away then, he moaned to himself as all around the jackals repeated their mantra, his jaw clenched tight just in case he felt inclined to repeat after them. "OBEY GOD, PROTECT GOD, FUCK FOR GOD, FIGHT FOR GOD, LIVE IN ETERNITY FOR GOD. WE ARE HIS SOLDIERS, HIS PROTECTORS, AND HIS ELITE WARRIORS!"

Averick was shouting out to Harris, trying to get his attention, try to warn him that something was happening, but the jackal didn't listen, or couldn't hear. All of the elite jackals also seemed to be... humming now? The researcher had a sick feeling in his stomach that they were welcoming their new brother to their fold, he hoped that the soldier might fight it, that he might save them both now that he was such a brute of a jackal, but he had a feeling that it wouldn't work that way. Already God was tracing the markings in the air, and he watched as the symbol started to form on Harris' back, the jackal completely still as it was burned into his fur, a bright golden mark.

There was an intense sensation burning into Harris suddenly, his breath being torn away for a moment, and then he was filled with extreme pleasure. He whimpered as the waves of ecstasy hit him, completely enraptured as his mental self continued to gaze up at God, the chorus of the mantra continuing on and on. The soldier found that his memories were fading, or if they weren't fading they were being blocked off, but he couldn't care, not when he was staring right into the face of God. By this point the jackal's shaft was enlarged and erect just as all the other jackals were, he strained internally, tried to fight it, wanted to punch the God in his fucking face... but he didn't move, just stared into the glory of God's beautiful eyes.

The process was shockingly fast, for the newly made royal guard it felt like years, but for Averick it was only five minutes. The marking process was the longest bit, God tracing his symbols into his new guard, and then when it was done God leaned back and smiled. The jackal's body loosened up as he looked about himself, "Harris" had been locked away, or burnt away, or erased, he didn't know, he didn't remember "Harris", he was one of God's royal guards... and he looked upon God with awe. He bowed deeply and growled out in a deep baritone voice, "My liege, I am your arm, use me as you may, and I will obey." The voice didn't sound anything like Harris, and Averick watched on in horror as God gestured to his feet.

"As I promised you my new guard, you may lick my feet for the day, and then you will take up your station." Without a moment's hesitation the enormous brute of a jackal threw himself at God's feet, Averick felt ill as the suckling and licking started, the royal guard acting like a shameless dog in heat as he humped the floor, worshipping God's feet. God then focused on Averick once more, his priest laughing joyously. "Such a strong warrior, he was quite resilient, but faced with my power he had no chance. Now you, sir scholar, will be given an even higher honor."

The guards that held Averick stepped forward, and God soon held nine holy relics above his paw, eyes glinting dangerously as he himself spoke, everything in the room going deathly quiet at the sound. God's voice was both beautiful and harsh, grating on their ears, but making their eyes water with tears at its beauty. It filled up everything, and yet it seemed like the softest sound anyone could make... and it was all focused on Averick. "I save this for those who I deem worth using, those who I can make use of. Your mind is full of information I need, you have broken the ancient language that I long have forgotten, and so I will rely on you for much needed information," he purred.

Averick's mouth was suddenly bone dry, his heart pounding painfully in his chest, his entire body shaking as he finally managed to speak. "W... what are you going to do...?" he whimpered.

"You will be my newest priest," God said. The holy relics floated high in the air and everyone looked up at them, they looked like the brightest stars in the sky, glinting with such power that nobody doubted they were God's purest relics. "I do not make many, but your mind is worth keeping for myself. So I will create a priest out of you, take your mind into my own, and use your body as a vessel for my words. Feel honored, Averick, for you will make a glorious puppet."

The man that was Averick only had a moment to process this before he was struck by nine relics, God's power flooding him, overwhelming him, pushing out everything that made him human, and made him perfect. He felt God pushing into him, taking all of his memories, his thoughts, his personality, and absorbing them like some greedy parasite. Everything he did, thought, spoke, was, was now a part of God, and soon his body became nothing but a vessel, a shell for God's power to inhabit, and so it was.

His name was gone, his personality was gone, thoughts, memories, speech, all of it torn away, and in its place an overwhelming all encompassing devotion to God was left in its place, he knew everything he had to know, he was made into the perfect mouthpiece for God. The new priest moaned as he came, his body becoming a perfect duplicate for God's own, he didn't have all of God's power, rather he could channel what God put into him, nothing more than a hand puppet for God to talk though when he needed to talk to his people. Nine pieces of God's holy relics were left upon him, signifying his grand status in God's plan, overwriting whoever he once was, the memory of human life far beyond his reach now, he was better than human, he was pure jackal, always was as far as he was concerned.

God watched as the jackal bowed deeply before him, penis quivering between his legs as he grinned a mirror grin up at him. He filled up his new priest for the first time, watching as his eyes burned a bright gold, seeing himself in all his perfection. It was always fun for the first time to be when he was looking upon himself, God loved his body, loved everything about it, and so he only blessed those he thought worthy to wield his body and... God paused as he realized something was wrong with the picture he was looking at, he saw himself, saw his harem and... "Where's Harris?" he asked plainly. God's eyes went wide as he realized that his newest royal guard was... gone.

Anger boiled in God as he looked around, the royal guards also looking as they realized that their newest member was suddenly absent. "Where IS HE?!" God roared. He reached through his connection to the royal guard's mental realm, but the jackal was shockingly missing, as if he'd never been there. God looked to the doors that the guards had been blocking before and saw they were agape, apparently everyone in the room had been enraptured by the new priest's arrival, and so they'd missed the fact that one of their own had slipped right past them. "GET THAT JACKAL BACK HERE!" he roared. The castle shook as God's anger cracked golden surfaces and ripped obsidian to rubble, and all over the kingdom jackals were quickly hopping to attention to find the rogue jackal that had gotten out from underneath God's feet.

Desert:

Harris blinked and rubbed at his head, his head ached so much, his body felt so good but his mind hurt so much. The jackal groaned as he felt God reach into his head, or try to, but something went wrong, he'd been licking God's feet one minute, and the next something... broke. He'd been fighting so hard, trying to regain control of himself and try to remember who he was, and finally he'd managed it. Of course the effort had taken a lot out of him, but the master sergeant had managed it, he'd been able to slip away from the throne room. Everybody had been so entranced by the act of Averick's change into a priest that it had given him a few minutes to free himself, and he'd even managed to spot the key on the ground! Apparently the man had dropped it during his change, and though part of the soldier felt guilty at his change... "Meh, the bastard hid it from us!" he growled.

The master sergeant blamed the cowardly fuck for all of his military men becoming jackals, hot... studly... fuckable jackals. Part of Harris realized he'd been changed, he knew something was wrong with his mind now, that he wanted to fuck males, but... he didn't care all that much. He knew he needed to get back to earth though, warn them about the jackals, maybe get an army to help him fight the jackals! It was time for him to get back at God and show him that humanity was stronger than they would've imagined, and he would certainly get back at the jackal deity for making him lick God's feet! For a moment Harris moaned as his cock jerked at the memory, licking God's feet, rubbing his dick against the ground... No, he had to keep his mind on the prize, he was nobody's footstool!

In the back of his head Harris could hear the royal guard calling him, shouting the mantra at him, trying to reclaim him. Honestly he didn't know how he even retained his name, for a while he'd completely forgotten who he was, but it had just snapped back in place. The lumbering jackal soon found himself before the tomb once more, eyes gleaming with excitement as he stared at it... and then he noticed another jackal there. The jackal was moaning as he was jerking himself off, looking ashamed of himself as he was doing so, but he was quite plainly pleasing himself. "What the fuck are you doing here?" Harris spat.

The jackal jumped to his feet in surprise, throwing his hands up in fright. "Don't! Please don't take me back there, I don't want to be turned into a jackal... or... rather one of God's jackals!" It was obvious from the jackal's expression that he didn't expect Harris to listen to his argument, but apparently the jackal didn't have any fight left in him.

Harris started to speak... and realized he recognized the voice. "Shalen?" he growled.

The jackal's ears perked up and he looked up at the brute before him with shocked eyes. "H... Harris, is that you? How the fuck... what... what are you?"

"Royal guard... or rather ex-royal guard now," the jackal chuckled. Part of Harris felt guilty at calling himself ex, the programming had been shockingly fast, he felt like he should be bowing before God, praising him, not running away from him. "Nevermind that, what the fuck happened to you?"

"They started changing me and... I got away," Shalen said with a shrug. Slumping back on the ground he sighed as he looked down at himself, his cock still erect somehow even after jerking off six times within the past few hours. "What are you doing here?" the jackal grunted.

Looking at the smaller jackal Harris felt a burning in his own loins, he found that he was now extremely horny, more so than he'd been in a very long time, but he pushed it away for now. "I'm here to get the hell out of this world and warn my people, I have a feeling with all the humans they've converted from my world, it won't be long before God," they both shivered in arousal at the word, "comes to try and take over."

Shalen looked up at him, his golden eyes glaring at Harris' own. "So what, you're just going to abandon us?" he growled.

"Well... actually I intended to come back and kick God's ass. After all, the fucker deserves to be taken down a peg, especially after what he did to me," he spat. Shalen was going to ask what God did, but from the much larger Jackal's glare he didn't bother to ask. Harris stewed for a bit... before he started looking at Shalen with more interest, he had something programmed into him, he remembered it from his programming, all jackals were supposed to follow his words, it was one of the sigils that God had carved into him. A small part of him told him not to do it, he was supposed to be one of the good guys but... "Shalen, let me fuck you," he suddenly said.

"Okay," Shalen said. He stood up and turned around, revealing his ass for the much larger jackal. A trace of confusion was evident on his face, but he seemed perfectly content for Harris to do as he said, so the much larger jackal took the smaller one. Harris' lust was too much to be ignored and Shalen really was a hot jackal, now that he'd been reprogrammed by God Harris was completely enthralled by the male jackal form, and though Shalen only had one relic on him he was fond of males as well, despite his own resistance to the idea, and so he found himself moaning and whimpering as he was pumped full of jackal shaft.

Shalen bucked and pressed his ass against the far larger male, his mind questioning why he did as Harris said so willingly, but found that the thought slid away when he pondered too hard about it. "Complement me like the little whroe you are," Harris said. He was used to women telling him how good he was, and it tended to get him off, now that he was doing it with a male he didn't see why it wouldn't work the same, so he plunged his shaft in harder as Shalen started to praise him.

"God, you're so big, I've never seen such a sexy jackal before," Shalen moaned. His eyes clenched tight as he pressed up into the meat, wanting it to satisfy him, his cock so fucking hard. "I can't believe such a beast of a jackal like you would ever want a little bitch like me," he went on. Part of Shalen was shocked that he was being so degrading towards himself but... some part of him knew that he was nothing compared to the royal guard jackal, he was obedient, he would obey his every command. Shalen felt his blood run cold as he realized if Harris commanded him to, he would walk right back to God's doorstep without question...

It didn't take long for Harris to get off, he was still getting used to his new body, so he soon filled up the little whore with his huge load before pulling out with a moan. "Fuck yeah, that was great... ya know what, Shalen, I want you to come along with me to my world. I'm going to need an ass like yours, and I want a partner to be with me when I show back up on earth, it's going to take a lot of explaining," he said.

The smaller jackal wanted to argue, to say that he was going to stay on his world, that he wouldn't betray his people... but he just nodded. "Of course, Harris," he answered like a parrot. Shalen hated the larger jackal, but followed anyways as the jackal used the key to reopen the tomb, due to the fact that they were immortal now the key's price was moot, and so the tomb opened with no effect on the royal guard as he stared into the tomb's depths. "So that'll bring us to your world?" the smaller jackal asked with a frown.

"It should. We'll go through and get my people back, and with this key we can come right back here so we can take on God and his army," Harris explained. The pair gazed into the tomb for a long few moments and finally they started in, Shalen tried to resist... but his feet carried him deeper and deeper in until the tomb's entrance vanished behind them. The pair vanishing from the world to go back to their world to find more soldiers to throw at God's army.

God's Chambers:

Sitting upon his throne God knew when Harris left this world, he could feel the presence of the royal guard leaving, but his rage had already diminished, he knew where the traitor was going. "It looks like we'll be going to the other world sooner than I intended..." he mused. Tapping his claws on the throne arm he scowled as his priests gathered before him, the one that had been Averick now blended in with the rest perfectly, not even God remembered which was which, not that he cared, he'd gotten all of Averick's memories from his head during the transformation, and so he knew exactly where the tomb was... and he intended on opening it with a key of his own.

The deity smirked as his slaves continued to dote on him, God enjoyed their adoration, he always wanted their eyes on him, he wanted everyone's' eyes on him, how else would he continue to be a deity if he didn't have EVERYONE worshipping him? He'd already grown stronger with the rest of humanity in this world now his servants, all of their minds enslaved to his will, and now he'd found out there was an entire other world out there that had yet to know of his glory. God grinned as he stood up, all of his worshippers falling back as he stood up, his entire body crackling with energy as all of his priests' eyes lit up at once.

Across the world, priests' eyes lit up and God gave his message to all the jackals across the land, a grin lighting up his features as he posed, sending his energy to all of his servants. "MY PEOPLE! I, GOD, SHALL HAVE MY ARMY GATHER AT THE CAPITAL THIS VERY DAY. LET EVERY GUARD GATHER HERE AT ONCE, FOR WE SHALL BE MARCHING UPON A NEW WORLD TO SPREAD MY MESSAGE TO ITS PEOPLE. WE WILL MAKE THEM PRAISE MY NAME AS YOU ALL DO, SO SAYS I!" Every jackal that heard the message cheered, an echoing sound that spread across the land as they realized that more people would hear God's message, more jackals to be created, and more power to be gifted upon their ruler and deity.

God's priests all went quiet as they basked in the orgasms that God gifted them for spreading his message, those in his throne room gasped aloud as he grinned upon them all. "My children, prepare yourselves as you will all follow me into this new world and aid me in spreading my holy relics. This is a grand new day, and you will all be a part of it." They all bowed deeply as he walked past them and opened the doors to the hallway outside, and started down it with them all in tow, the royal guard following suit. God was on his way to Earth, and it had better be prepared as he was prepared to turn everybody on the surface of the planet into a reflection of his perfection.
