Commissioned by Aurora during the holiday streams, this is a bit of a weird story, and one that I tend not to do so much. Weight gain isn't really one of my fetishes, but I figured I'd give it a try. Curious how I did. Let me know in the comments.

Changeling Changes Weight

For Aurora

By Draconicon

Christmastime was always a lovely part of the year, even when one was having trouble getting work. As a DJ, Glowie wasn't having the best of luck. Most of the different parties that were running through Ponyville, Canterlot, and all the other cities with bigger populations had their mix-masters already booked, and she was more or less working off of charity at this point. It was a little humiliating, but she'd had things worse, before.

The yellow pegasus shook her head as she walked up to the latest building, a bit of a manor compared to the other houses around it. She looked down at the flyer that she'd picked up, saw that it was the right address.

"Well, you never know. Maybe they got something for me tonight."

The short pony pushed the door open, figuring that it would be unlocked, and she was right. Through the entry hall, she could see a party going on in the main room ahead, and she stepped inside, shucking off her coat and hanging it among all the others that were placed by the front door.

Alright, let's see...I'm supposed to find someone called...Aurora? she thought, looking at the flyer again. Yeah, that was the name, though she didn't recognize it. It was one of those that probably meant something to the pony that owned it, but then again, so did most names out there.

Shrugging, she walked in, adjusting her loose shirt and tight pants as she made her way to the party. It was already in full swing, with everyone dancing and grinning and obviously having a good time. The beat in the air told her that there was already a DJ working this particular get-together, but she wouldn't have been surprised if it was a one-night gig. Most ponies that worked the sound tables did their job as night to night things to avoid losing out on new opportunities.

Not bad, either. Getting some good sound out of that...maybe a bit more bass, though. Could use more of a 'thud' in there.

She stood with her hands in her pockets, looking out over the other ponies as her wings fluttered in slight nervousness. She felt...anxious, as if she was going to have to prove herself. She told herself that it was just stage fright, that she was getting used to the fact that she needed to keep selling herself again and again, but it wasn't much help.

As she looked around, she realized that nobody really matched what she expected for a master of a house. She didn't see anyone that looked any better off than anyone else, and nobody that seemed to be running around taking care of things.

Sighing, she walked up to one of the waiters that were buzzing around. Changelings, she recognized them as, but not as one of the more harmful hives. She tapped him on the shoulder, and his reflective eyes turned back to her.

"Pardon me, do you...can you point out Aurora to me?"

"Certainly, ma'am."

The bug-like waiter turned, pointing a finger towards a glistening white changeling, one that stood head and shoulders above the rest of the people around her. The twisted horn on her head glowed with a yellow light, which cast a strangely gold tint on all the Christmas decorations around her.

She hadn't expected a changeling to be hiring anybody, but she supposed that it made sense. There were some good ones out there, and with a height like that...

Hey, hey, don't start thinking about that. She's a changeling, and her height means nothing towards whether she'd be a good boss or not. Let's put that down.

She shook her head, taking her hands out of her pockets to look less like a sulking teenager, and walked across the room. Some of the other ponies took a while to get around, but eventually she was part of the crowd that Aurora was entertaining with conversation. She listened in, finding herself at the tail end of a story.

"And you must have seen her face when she realized that I was a changeling. Goodness, but the princess simply didn't know how to take the fact that her suitor wasn't actually male, ha!"

The group laughed, while the DJ pony blushed. She hadn't quite expected to hear something so risque, but she supposed it was par for the course among some of the high-brow of the city. They were always doing something strange, and perhaps they simply needed something different to liven up their days.

Just as long as she doesn't expect songs like that, she thought. Glowie cleared her throat, trying to ignore her blushing cheeks as she tried to get the changeling's attention.

It didn't take long. Aurora turned her head, glancing down at her curiously, and smiled. The two fangs at the front were intimidating, but only for a moment before the tall woman walked over to her, a glistening dress of rather majestic make trailing behind her.

"Oh, I apologize. I didn't mean to forget a guest. Tell me, did you just arrive? I would simply die of embarrassment if you were waiting around and I missed you for all this time."

"Well, not quite just arrived, but I haven't been here long."

"Oh, thank heavens. It would be positively atrocious for me to leave you alone for that long. Have you had something to drink?"

"Not yet, but -"

"Let me get you one. Come, come."

Despite her intentions of just asking about the job and then moving on, Glowie found herself swept up by the taller equine-insect-thing. She was dragged away from the large group, and taken to the far sides of the room where drinks and food were laid out in rich portions. She had a plate shoved into her hands, as well as a drink, and she was left blinking as she had some of the food stuffed into her muzzle as well.

Clearing her mouth and swallowing down as much as she could to clear her face, she coughed and sputtered. Aurora chuckled.

"Not used to so much?"

"Not used to someone taking such care."

"Oh, I always take care of those that matter."

"I...see."

She cleared her throat again, trying to focus on the moment, but it was a little hard as the changeling gathered her up and helped her towards some of the chairs that were set up nearby. It was like she was being manhandled by the much larger woman, and...she kinda liked it. Having that much force and gentleness combined into one person worked rather well.

As they sat together, the changeling cleared her throat, and looked down at her.

"So, you're here for something?"

"Uh, yes, actually. A job."

She unfolded the flyer and handed it over.

"I was looking around for some music work, and I saw that you were hiring."

"Ah, yes. It's a bit of an old poster, but it's definitely my advertisement."

"You...aren't hiring, then?"

"I didn't say that."

The changeling chuckled, shaking her head and putting the poster to the side. She crossed her legs slowly and gracefully, looking down at Glowie, and the DJ blushed at the intensity of her attention.

"I am hiring for more, but I need to make sure that anyone that I hire is worth keeping on. This DJ has been...adequate, but I'm looking for someone better."

"I'm better."

"Oh, are you?"

"I can tell you exactly what's going wrong with his work."

"Hmmm, now isn't that fascinating? Are you sure it's not just a matter of opinion?"

She knew that it wasn't meant as anything hurtful, but the slight teasing smile on the changeling's face still made her blush. She felt like there was some sport being made of her, and she didn't know how to change it, get out of it. She rubbed the back of her head, trying to pull her thoughts together.

"It's not opinion. He's pushing the bass down. Probably trying to make it all high and sweet. It's nice, but it's not where the music wants to go."

The changeling nodded her head in a considering fashion. Glowie didn't say anything, but just remained still, waiting for judgment. She felt like maybe it would have been better to speak up, or extend her reasoning, but at the same time, she got the feeling that this Aurora liked people that didn't ramble on, and just made their points.

Eventually, the white changeling nodded.

"I believe that we should talk tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?"

"Yes. Your interview will be at noon, tomorrow."

"I...seriously?"

"Of course. You seem to have at least a grasp of knowledge and technique. We'll see what you can do then."

"I...geez, thank you. You have a heart as big as you are tall."

"Mmm, yes, yes, I do, don't I?"

Aurora chuckled, and she went along with it. It was the breakthrough that she'd been hoping for. If she did well tomorrow, she might just be able to secure herself a spot in the house for the rest of the Christmas season. And if she didn't?

Well...it could be worse. It could be a hell of a lot worse. A hell of a hell of a lot worse.

The changeling woman got back to her feet, excusing herself with the need to tend to the rest of the party, and Glowie gave her understanding. She watched the changeling leave, and blushed a bit to herself as she realized that she was getting something more than a job opportunity. She was getting a crush, too.

She looked out the window, seeing the dark night coming on, and the first star that had come over the horizon. The pony smiled to herself, leaning on the windowsill.

"Heh...if she was just a bit rounder, she would be perfect..."

As she glanced over her shoulder, Glowie let her eyes roam over the other party-goers. Some were fit, some were not, and her eyes were more drawn to those with a lot more meat on their bones. She blushed as she realized that she was staring at some of them, and she had to reach up and push her head to keep moving on.

It was one of those things that had come up a lot of times in the past, and one reason why she preferred clients that were a little more well-off compared to the others. They tended to have more to work with, and on the very, very, very rare occasions that she got to have her 'fun' with someone...well, it was more fun to have a cushion to work with.

She was still blushing as she looked up at the heavens again, staring at the first star of the night. Glowie shook her head a few times, remembering the old childhood nursery rhymes about wishing on a star, but...

Oh, what the hell? It's Christmas.

"Starlight, starbright, first star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might. Have the wish I wish tonight..."

The yellow pegasus blushed, hiding her head under her mane of blue and black, but kept on whispering.

"I wish that Aurora had a body as big and round and lovely as her heart..."

Hours passed, and eventually the guests left. Aurora sent her hive-servants to their quarters, and ascended her stairs to her bedroom. It had been a long day, and she was looking forward to getting her well-deserved rest. The white changeling had been on her feet for so long, and despite her shapeshifting abilities, she had to admit, it was hard to keep her body changed to keep up with that. Magically made muscles and endurance didn't do as much as people think that they did.

As she reached her large quarters, with an opulent bed and a wide window that let in the moon and starlight, she stripped down and laid over her blankets. Her house was warm enough not to need them, and being bare felt better than being covered. Slowly, she leaned back, letting her head rest against her pillow, and she closed her eyes.

She wasn't sure how long she slept, but something...bubbling woke her up. Aurora blinked, groaning as she lifted her head from her pillows, and slowly looked around for the source of the sound. It had to be close, she realized, but where? It was loud enough to sound almost like a gurgling river, or...

A stomach?

The changeling turned her head, looking down her curves towards her stomach, and her eyes went wide at the sight that awaited her. Her belly had risen somehow, while she had been asleep, and it was getting bigger as she stared at it. The surface of her stomach rolled and bubbled, almost like the top of a pot of boiling water, except water didn't rise as her stomach did. It didn't expand, growing outwards, lifting up her breasts as it expanded outwards.

"What in the world?!"

At first, she thought that it was just her own powers run amok, but she could feel them at rest as much as she was. Aurora pulled at her abilities, thinking that she might just quash it before it could spread, but even as her horn glowed yellow, it faded again. It was like something had reached out and blocked all of her abilities.

She was near to panic as the expansion continued to rush through her, pushing down her legs and bubbling in her thighs. Rolling through her, it was like having a bubbling pot of water poured inside of her, expanding, steaming, filling her. It didn't hurt, but it was so very strange, making her swell and grow and expand and...and fatten up, if she was completely honest with herself.

Her body was getting bigger by the second, her thighs - once well apart - grinding against each other in a way that felt unnatural and sensual at the same time. Her belly had grown broad, and as she groaned and shuddered, it jiggled with her. Not in a grotesque way, as she expected, but more in a joyous way, like her body was celebrating its new size in the only way that it knew how.

How...how?

The mystery of how suddenly didn't seem so important when her body was expanding so quickly. Her belly had been pushing up her breasts, but now, her breasts were growing with it. They were getting rounder, heavier, pushing further down. She reached up, pressing her hand to it, and knew that it was solid. It wasn't simply inflation, or filling up with empty space. It was actually there, as hefty as it looked, and as she pressed her hand near her nipples, she could feel them expanding as well, getting wider and rounder, the areola spreading out and becoming more obvious.

She couldn't help herself, touching them and teasing them as she felt them getting bigger and denser. The bed creaked beneath her, and somewhere in the back of her mind, Aurora realized that she was getting heavier, that her bed wouldn't be able to hold her for long.

And she didn't care.

Something...something in the changeling nature admired transformation, and this was an extensive one, more than she had ever done for herself. She laid back, staring at the way that her body grew. Her thighs had become so thick that they might have been mistaken for large hams at the top, and the rest of her legs thickened to match it.

As her neck fattened up, getting thicker and with a bit more cushion around it, she could feel her head having trouble turning and moving. It wasn't like she was stuck, but she was ever so aware of the weight that rested on her neck and her body. Her shoulders, padded as they were becoming, were more comfortable to rest her head on, and...

And there was something else. It wasn't just that she was becoming heavier, but that she was becoming bigger, and softer, too. Everything that she grew was soft, gentle, warm. Almost like it wasn't actually fat, but something else, something that was made to enhance her rather than simply weigh her down.

The question of 'how' popped into her head, but it was weaker now, harder to hear. All she could do was watch, feeling her body warp against her will, out of her control, and she was...well, she was starting to enjoy it.

Aurora smiled as she felt the gurgling growth start to affect her hips and her ass, starting to puff them out, pushing them to be bigger than they had ever been before. She reached down, her arms starting to get the same transformation that her legs had. Her fingers felt pudgier by the time that they reached her ass, and she squeezed it, giggling to herself as she felt it sink beneath her fingers in the way it did.

So big...so very big...

She rolled onto her side, the bed creaking again, almost cracking as something sounded like it was getting strained to its limits. The increasingly-chubby changeling groaned, reaching around and pulling at her rump, dragging one cheek off to the side, and then letting it slap back down.

SMACK!

The sound of her heavier parts hitting each other was loud enough to make an echo in the room, and her eyes widened. For a moment, the sheer weight of her new body hit her like a train, and she was...worried. Not scared, not afraid, but worried.

And then it faded, carried on by the warmth that had enveloped her, by the sheer comfort of her new body. It was so big, so thick, her limbs grown from the slender things that they had been to great rolls of meat and power and curves. Her hips had spread outwards, so big that she knew she would have difficulties with the doorway tomorrow.

Let's not even think about clothes, she thought with a chuckle.

Aurora smiled, rolling again, seeing how it felt to lay on her front. Her belly sloshed beneath her, squishing out to the sides, somehow making her look even bigger, and her breasts pushed her head and chest up in a way that they had never done before. She was...massive. There was no getting around it, she was massive. Not grotesque, ugly, or simply chubby. She was fat. Curvaceously fat.

The only downside was that she could no longer reach very far. The sheer size that she'd taken on meant that any sort of...personal pleasures...was no longer possible. Her arms couldn't reach around her bountiful body any longer, and it was a problem right then and there, because...well, she wanted to.

She groaned, rolling back on her back, and her bed decided that it had had enough. The cracking that she'd heard suddenly grew in sound, and the frame ripped right down the middle. The mattress came crashing down, and she yelped as she was brought down with it, the whole thing slamming into the floor with a horrendous bang.

Aurora laid there, staring at the ceiling and panting for breath. The question of 'how' had faded completely. There was no longer any curiosity as to how her body had become like this.

After all...why be curious about what one had always had?

#

The next morning, Glowie was at the front door of the manor with her best records, both recordings and stuff that she was willing to play in order to prove her skills. The pegasus shifted from one hoof to another outside the front door, waiting for noon to roll around.

Don't want to be late, but don't want to be too early, either, she thought, shaking her head. Gotta make a good impression, gotta make a good impression.

She was working herself up to another fit of anxiety, she knew, but it was so hard to back down from it. Nervousness had always been an enemy, and the fact that Aurora was such a kind potential employer actually made it worse instead of better. If she disappointed her, then there was no place for her at all. She needed to do this right, or she was screwed for the rest of her life.

She was fighting the urge to leave then and there when the door opened, and the head of the house looked out. Aurora looked...different, though, or at least, her head did. Glowie wondered if maybe the taller woman had had too many sausages the night before.

"Glowie, you're early. Please, come in."

"If you're sure."

"Oh, please, it's cold outside, and you're better suited inside, anyway."

Nodding her thanks, she stepped in through the door, only to find her eyes bugging out of their sockets at what she saw.

Holy... She couldn't even finish her thought as she found herself staring at the changeling's widened rump as she stepped inside. It wasn't just that, but everything had grown overnight. It was like she had gone from the slender, almost too-skinny body that she'd been using the night before to some voluptuous, chubby - fat - version of herself that had no shame at showing off all of her curves.

It was like being treated to a dream of her own personal fantasies, and she had to fight to keep from drooling as they walked down the halls, particularly as the changeling only wore a robe rather than any proper clothes.

She probably can't fit in anything else...

They walked until they reached something like a study, though Glowie couldn't have said how to get back to the front door. She'd been following that rump, that chubby set of hips, rather than any directions. She had to look up from the bigger chest and stomach as she sat down, blushing so hot that her face burned. Yet, Aurora showed no signs of acknowledging that she was bigger than before, even when her chair creaked when she sat down on it, threatening to break under her.

"Now, we were going to have an interview, yes?"

"Uh, um...yes..."

"Is something wrong?"

"A...well..."

She coughed.

"Just hard not to stare."

"Heh, I suppose, though you didn't have issues last night."

"Last night?"

"Well, I've always looked like this."

"..."

"What?"

"If you always looked like that, I would have asked you out last night - oh god forget I said that."

Glowie pulled herself up into the chair, blushing and covering her face at her little confession. How had she let that out of her mouth? How had she even...that was...she was humiliated, utterly humiliated, and she didn't know how she would ever be able to look the changeling in the face again.

Then...then she heard a giggle. A giggle that grew into a full-bellied laugh. She slowly looked past her hands, and saw Aurora laughing her ass off. The jiggling belly, the roaring laugh, it...it made her smile a bit.

Maybe I'm not in trouble?

She waited, not saying anything, until the changeling was done. She rubbed the back of her head.

"Sorry...I just...."

"You like big girls?"

"..."

"I'll take that blush as a yes, darling."

"Well...yes."

"Well...perhaps we should see where it takes us, then."

"...Wait, seriously?"

"Well, I'll have to see what my schedule is like, and we'll have to make sure that we work together. But what better way to do that than a date, hmm?"

"I...you...yes, please!"

"Haha! Excellent. But until then, the interview. What do you have for me?"

"Well...I did bring these records..."

The End
