By Dawn's Light

Old poem I wrote (literally years old, at least 5 years old). Unfortunately I cannot submit it in my writing (it's in cursive). I forget why I wrote it, or what it's even about so feel free to make your own interpretations. Honestly, I was probably board and slapped this together in like 10 minutes tops without thinking.

Through the bitter night,

Enveloped by biting cold,

Piercing howls cause fright,

Panther's stride becomes bold.

Fierce lightning strikes true,

Earth trembles stricken hard,

Flaming sea of blue,

Dealt the final card.

Charred remains litter ground,

All ceased, no movement,

Quite night lacking sound,

Silence strikes like flint.

A sound deafeningly loud,

The sun's shining bright,

Illuminating the massive crowd,

All drawn by dawn's light.
