„KYU!!???"

.....................................

„BLAZE!!!???"

........................

There was no response, it was useless to search for the two. May felt guilty for coming late, but she also felt angry that the two just disappeared. She didn't know anything, she didn't even have the slightest idea where they could be. But she was sure that they wouldn't just leave her behind, and she began to suspect that something had happened.

Even though it was daytime the Mightyena searched, she couldn't just rest without knowing where her comrades are. She walked passed the trees that were surrounded by all kind of bugs...Caterpies, Weedles...

„Yuck....bugs..."

„Hey Bull...look"

Bulltreio looked to the place his fellow team mate showed at. He recognized the black furred creature, even remembering her name. The Croconaw sighed.

„Maybe you cold ask her how to get out of here? I'm sick of being away from water for so long Bull." He proposed. Bulltreio watched the Mightyena, planning something. May didn't see them, looking in another direction.

„Hmm...doesn't look like Kyu and the other one are around, she seems to be lost. Hehe..." he smirked. „Wrek, wait here for Clearwing to return from scouting. I've go a small score to settle with an old friend." Bulltreio explained, walking towards the place where the Mightyena was standing.

„You sure its a good idea?"

„Believe me, I've go everything under control Wrek..."

May gave up, the whole walking and looking made her tired.

„Damn those two..." she sat herself onto the ground, looking carefully to hit an area without any bugs. The sun combined with the peaceful singing the birds produced could easily put one to sleep.„Where the hell cold they be?"

„Oh...what a coincidence...May was it?"

May turned around in surprise to see a Flareon she had seen before. She remembered seeing him before all the teams left the village, and on top of that she remembered a lot of Flareons.

„Do I know you?" she asked, not sounding interested. Bulltreio smiled, starting to circle around May. This provoked her in a way.

„Oh thats right, I'm Bulltreio...And no, I don't really think you know me.." he simply said with a sneaky voice. May started to get tired, she wasn't in the mood to speak, her comrades were missing.

„Well then, It was nice to meet you, whatever your name was....but I would like to be alone right now, I'm not in the mood." May said, making sure she said seriously enough.

„Ey Babe...you shouldn't play with fire if you know what I mean..." Bulltreio cooly said, thinking the reference to himself sounded impressive. No, May hated such jerks, and now the stranger was getting on her nerves.

„Don't call me „Babe" May calmly said. Bulltreio didn't know that May was one of the hard types, so he didn't fear anything.

„Oh...are we like that? Can't a male even comment on a girls good looks? Speaking of looks, you seem to be a rare case...Have you got a boyfriend?" Bulltreio actually thought that Kyurex and May were together.

„None of your business..." May was now really holding on to her last drops of patience, and the boyfriend question brought up unwanted feelings towards Kyurex. Not the feeling that she deeply admired him, but the feeling that she still couldn't get through to him even after the kiss. This dude seemed to have been wanting to have such a discussion, and the Mightyena definitely didn't like it.

„Oh wait, your probably Kyurexs girl by now...hehe, he sure doesn't deserve such a beauty." Bulltreio circled, not noticing Mays rising temper. „Too bad you were his second choice though, you see, he actually tried to get my girl fir-"

Slash...

Mays claws left a slight mark across the Flareons face. Bulltreio was surprised by the immense power the Mightyena possessed.

„I told you I'm not in the mood freak...Now get lost."

Bulltreio retreated, watching the Mightyena carefully, who was growling, making her teeth visible.

„Have it your way...But, it was nice meeting you May..." he smiled, eventually turning around, disappearing through the trees. May calmed down, thinking about the weird stranger and what he meant with „second choice". Did he mean Revy was Kyurexs first choice, and what did that have to do with the Flareon anyway.

„Wow...Some of our elders are also going to participate sir!!" Baxten said, sounding extremely interested. All the five kids were sitting in front of Kyurex, listening to him speak about the Bronze Tournament. After telling them what he knew, he understood that he himself didn't know much yet, because if there was a Bronze Tournament, then there should logically also be a silver and gold one.

The kids didn't fear the Umbreon anymore. They were highly interested in the Bronze Tournament and listened with will to Kyurexs opinion on how to train. He started to fish up his memories, he remembered the night he decided to train and become an Umbreon, back when he was still an Eevee.

„But you kids don't want to tell me your skipping school just because of the battle test?" he asked, looking at the kids who felt a little ashamed. They were skipping school because their teacher announced a Battle Test. A Battle Test was a test to see if the student could use the knowledge he gained through out the battle lessons. Flash spoke for all.

„Well, we didn't really think we should listen to the whole babbling..."

„Ah....you're probably thinking its a theory test?" Kyurex asked.

„Is it one, sir?" Lilly asked. Kyurex had to laugh, they were acting like kids, well better said like he was when he was young. He also didn't like battle lessons, at the start they were always boring, but after the first Battle Test he understood that it was a good way to gain reputation in class. He loved to think of a plan to defeat his opponent and to prove that pure offense was not the key to win a battle. He smiled.

„If your community teaches like mine, than no, it's a practical one. Their will be two chosen students who will battle against each other, and at the end the teacher will analyze and comment on the battle. I used those tests to show off...hehe..." he bluffed. He said this because it was the pure truth. That's also how he gained his teachers respect. The kids chatted a little.

„But trust me guys...If you want to be good at the Bronze Tournament like you all say, than this is the one lesson you should never skip. It seems useless, but it actually does provide the students with valuable knowledge, so I wouldn't say you're doing a wise thing right now."

The kids looked ashamed. They thought they would use the good weather and skip school, but it seemed like that the right thing to do was to go back. Lilly got up.

„Then I guess we should go..." she said, trying to motivate the group. Flash also stood up.

„Yeah guys...lets skip some other lesson." He agreed with the Vulpix. Everybody slowly got up, except Kyurex who was amusing himself as he watched the kids regret their doing, well at least he thought so. They reminded him of himself and Flash, always trying to find a reason to skip school. What a typical childhood.

„Ah man, and I thought I could train today!!" the Machop said, still sounding amused. Kyurex seriously didn't get the kid.

They started to walk leaving Kyurex behind, no noticing that the Umbreon wasn't coming with them. Eventually...

„Aren't you coming sir?" Flash asked. The whole group turned around.

The Umbreon rose his head.

„Nah...I'll rest here, I'm kind of tired..." he said, not telling them that he actually wanted to wait for his friends. Flash was a little disappointed, because he was just beginning to like the newly met stranger. Suddenly the Vulpix ran over to the Umbreon, surprising him.

„Come on sir, you can't stay here like this, my mum can help you!" she said, sounding totally serious, again amusing the elder creature. Kyurex thought. It could be useful, he could ask the local Pokemon for some directions on how to get to the Bronze Tournament, because his team was lost anyway.

„Well....I guess I could come." Kyurex agreed, speaking slowly. The group cheered, surrounding Kyurex to help him get up. He laughed.

„Ey...I'm not that old kids."

„Yo!! Kyu!! You hear me bro?!! YO!! GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!" Blaze shouted in the darkness. He had just woken up, and he couldn't see a thing. The only thing he knew was that he was in some kind of underground cave, and he couldn't get out. He could smell earth everywhere, and he ground was stony and sticky. He looked around.

„Damn...where the hell am I man?? Looks like some cave or somethin...man what the hell happened to Kyu??" he spoke to himself. His sight adapted slowly to the darkness, and he noticed that there was some kind of tunnel in the ceiling which was about four meters away from the ground. He guessed that that was exactly from where he came.

„How am I going to get up there? And how the hell did I get down here?" he looked at the hole, puzzled. Suddenly there was a rustling sound. Blaze looked at the ground. The earth began to shift, and three little heads with round noses popped up, surprising him. He knew that Pokemon.

„A Dugtrio?" he asked, looking at the newly appeared creatures. They looked at each other, nodding.

„Correct." All three heads answered in one voice, sounding like some machine. „Greetings. Our name is Treez. What is your name?" They asked speaking at the same time. The Houndoom was happy to at least have some one to speak to.

„Blaze. Em...do you guys now how to get out of here? Or could you get me out of here? Please I'm in a real hurry!" he asked as politely as he could. To his disappointment he didn't get a direct answer, because the three had to look at each other again. Eventually they looked at Blaze again.

„We are sorry Blaze, but you will have to stay." They said. Blaze lifted an eyebrow. They seemed to be stubborn. Blaze let his grin vanish.

„Ehh....what??"

„You will have to stay here." The three heads repeated. Blaze was definitely not amused.

„And why do I have to stay here? It's not like I want to, but if you guys know a way out, then show me please."

„We're sorry, you'll have to stay here until the monster is gone." They said. Blaze didn't know what they meant. He looked around.

„What monster?"

„The big snake, it has been terrorizing our grounds for a week now. But we cannot to anything about it. We will trade you for help against it." The Dugtrio spoke directly and seriously. Blaze was now getting pissed.

„Ah yeah?" he opened his mouth, building up his flamethrower.

Suddenly, Diglets and Dugtrios started to appear everywhere. Some even hang from the ceiling. Blaze closed his mouth, looking around the cave. There wasn't even an area to move, the number of Pokemon was remarkable. He suddenly felt lonely, regarding his species.

„Man...talk about reproduction. I guess you guys call it „Daily work" or something..."
