#4 of What Measures a Heart

Chapter 4 - The Morning After

The two awoke with a snort.

"Wow... I had such a vivid dream last night. It felt amazing...,_Levi groaned, fluffing his pillow, "Maybe I should _give up on Belle if Erica is that into me and that good in bed... and..."

He never had a double-pillow. It was never this soft or fuzzy. It didn't have two soft buttons. It wasn't this warm or soggy in the morning.

A yawn erupted from Erica's mouth, "Wow... that was such an amazing dream... I can swear I still feel something... in... me..."

The two looked at each other, only able to make out two words, "Oh... shit.....!"

"Ah! Don't pull out so fast!"

"Sorry!"

"How hell did this happen? Did you get drunk?"

"No, I only drank a glass of eggnog!"

"Who gave it to you?"

"Bell...

"Oh, that little bitch!!!"

"Should we take turns getting showers or....?"

"You already stuck your one and only horn in my lower beak, so I don't think it matters!"

"Okay, okay!"

_ _

After an exhaustively awkward shower, the two dressed themselves and exited the room to find Eric waiting outside.

Eric took an uneasy tone, "Dude... the cops came to the house and asked about you."

This unnerved them both Levi and Erica.

"And... long story short, Erica's pal had a cam set up in the living room and ratted Andres and his babe out," Eric informed them casually. He sighed nervously, "I guess it doesn't fix what actually went down last night between you two, but....," his tone became upbeat, " Karma , bro'! It never_misses!_"

It was at this point Eric caught the scent of his sister's room, causing only one thought to cross his mind, 'His mom is gonna' to be so---o uncool with this....'

"So... uh... should we tell my mom?" Levi asked nervously, his gaze averted from Erica's.

It was at this moment Eric pointed out the obvious flaw in not doing so in a blunt tone, "What happens if you don't tell your mom, then she finds out my sister is probably going to be a mom?"

The rhetorical question caused the two likely parents-to-be to moan a woeful, "Oh hell....."

"Uh... so which one of us is buzzing your mom about this?" Eric asked uncertainly.

"Not it!"

"Not it!"

"What? Me!?"
