Factions:

1/ Abyss. (Russia, Asian nations, Arab Nations.) A highly controversial and dangerous union of nuclear and thermal-nuclear parties that had been working in secret to overthrow and erradicate the Alliance of the American nations. Although all of their attempts to cause severe destruction and havoc to the American populace have failed, their greatest power came from the fact that they could always mange to diplomatically weedle themselves out of major danger. During the Mutenagenix war, their major allies were (strangely enough) the Americans, they had helped defend in the attack on Tokyo personally, and assisted in the reconstruction of the capitol of Japan constantly.

2/ Alliance. (The Americas, Canada, Greenland.) The second most dangerous and best armed faction with mainly thermal-nuclear and potent Plasma sub charges which were implemented in the Battle of Area 25, Annihilating any resistance from the as yet un-founded Underground factions. While constantly dodging major blows from Abyss, Alliance was working on counter-measusres in-case of an invasion from their increasingly dangerous foes. During the Mutenagenix war, their major allies were (strangely enough) the Abyss faction, they fought the frontlines taking massive casualties as a result. The Alliance remains the second most devestated of the six factions.

3/ Harlequin. (UK, Europe, Africa, Australia, New Guinea, New Zealand.) The largest and least threatening union of countries that worked together as the "medics" to the rest of the world. When Australia was attacked directly, however, Harlequin showed that they were a force to be reckoned with, unleashing possibly the deadliest of the worlds weapons, Cybernetic units, Commonly called Androids. These robots showed little to no mercy or fear in the brunt of battle, and a single unit managed to liberate most of the Australian Capitol Territory. During the Mutenagenix war, their major ally was Curse and the Space colonies. They tended to stay back, but when provoked, were deadlier than the worst weapons invented.

4/ Curse. (Space colonies Urkel, Sigmund, Einstein, Lore.) The most potentially powerful faction, due to their position in orbit, and ability to drop Scud and Nuclear warheads anywhere, but otherwise almost harmless. A scientific faction, their main industry is in scientific discovery. They were responsible for the creation of the fifth faction, Underground, but were the last to join the fight against the threat to global stability.

They were instrumental in their assistance on liberating the A.C.T; but would hesitate to say so. During the Mutenagenix war, their major allies were the Harlequin nations, due (solely) to the fact that they assisted in the liberation of Australia's Capitol.

5/ Underground. (Newly-founded space colony on Mars called Ar'den and a Facility on the Moon called Hoven.) The underground were possibly the single deadliest faction out of the six, with a base in the catacomb-like underground on the Moon. With the greatest scientific and technological advantages out of all factions, they are an industrious people. Their population consists entirely of scientifically created 'Augments,' with enhanced strength, speed, hearing and more. Their role in the Mutenagenix war make them either the Antagonists or the only faction without allies. Even still, they managed to decimate Tokyo, overrun A.C.T. and destroyed America's Largest military hardpoint in area 25. With each victory, however, came a massive loss. In the head-on assault on area 25, a whole quarter of their military power was erradicated, dealing a massive blow to their populous as an entirety. During the final assault by the Earth factions on their home-base on the Moon, they surrendered unconditionally, to preserve what little civillian and militaristic population they had left. (More information below.) In all, approximatley 940 thousand humans had been killed, and millions more had been injured. The recorded population of the 'Augments' before the war was roughly 1.3 million, but the war has seen them reduced to a minority of 4200, mostly civillians who had the common sense to cower in the very centre of the Underground. In the seven years that followed, the Undergrounders had somehow kept their population to under 4.5 thousand. When it was discovered that the Alliance and Abyss had left behind a compound that made natural breeding impossible, the Undergrounders were evacuated to Space colony Lore. Their facility was then cleanswept and all guilty parties involved were detained. Since then (3 years) the Underground population has grown to a comfortable 100 thousand and been steadily increasing at a sustainable rate. In the last eighteen months they have put together several "specialised" businesses to float their economy and has, in joint with the other four factions, created the Sixth faction of power in Earth's domain.

6/ Hunter's Guild. (Combined militaristic police of Earth's domain.) Founded by the current Head of the Underground faction, the Guild was intended to be Earth's peacekeepers. Based in Lore, they take orders from all five major governments and assist in any way they can. They are the strongest force of personnel, but never show it. With the dragon scales produced by the Underground, they produce very efficient armor, capable of protecting from bullets and even lower grade energy/plasma artillery, and their weapons are from all of Earth's militaries. Their compliment of soliders include special ops trainers, least of which are:

/ Dragon tamers.

/ Phoenix trainers

/ 'Augment' strike forces

/ Manned Super-units (Special technological armor, built like tanks.)

/ Mechanical Personnel (Androids).

Their latest claim to fame sent a single (Human) member, Michael Starfury into an underground Facility on Mars, deep within Argos crater. He returned alive with a new facility now entirely in Guild hands. This facility is being used for personnel bunking and as a second base, not to mention as a storehouse for weapons he discovered there. The Hunter's Guild is the newest, and least volatile of all the factions, and have worked as the "Guardians" to the Underground, per their request. They assisted in the construction of the Mars Ar'den facility, a new Underground colony

Weaponary:

1/ Assault rifle RJ-989. A high speed rifle with good accuracy and weight, but lacking damage output. For military rear-line and backup personnel.

2/ Heavy assault RJ-22k. An extremely high speed rifle with medium accuracy and weight, with nominal damage output. Also comes with an additional slot for shotgun ammunition. For military frontliners and Scout personnel. Michael Starfury went into the Argos crater on mars with one of these. Unique upgrades were added to his, which have been transferred to his personal sidearm.

3/ Super heavy assault KL-40s. A high damage, medium speed weapon with in-built grenade launcher. Is rather heavy and is for use only by Frontline Juggernaut personnel. Due to its damage output, this weapon is only classed a rifle and not a cannon because of its size.

4/ I.R.L. A new technology discovered in the Argos Facility on Mars. This technology is a special transformer that converts ordinary rounds (bullets) into rocket propelled grenades. This weapon is strictly monitored and is for emergency purposes only.

5/ H.C.I.R.L. An upgrade to the I.R.L that makes the rounds converted into rocket propelled grenades look like kid's toys. The concussive power and blast generated by this weapon is potent enough to vaporize most of a heavily armoured tank. This weapon comes with limited energy, however, and must be recharged on a frequent basis. Access to this weapon is highly restricted, not even the guards outside the doors are allowed access, and all paths to the room, ducts, ventilation, etc, have been booby trapped.

6/ QT-246 SPARKPLUG. This weapon is mostly an energy upgrade for any weapon it is attatched to. With relatively unlimited power, the Sparkplug converts an ordinary Rifle into a compact Railgun, with energy based rounds that can penetrate and burn the target. Rounds fired by Sparkplug are almost always fatal, as the 'burn' can completley disintegrate the target. The Sparkplug is in the hands of Michael Starfury and is part of his personal weapon.

7/ B1457-W4V3. Codenamed Blastwave, this weapon is another upgrade to an ordinary weapon, but instead of converting live ammunition into concussive ordinance, it converts them into super heated Plazma rounds. This weapon can melt through the armor on most anything and is not for military use in live-fire conditions, no matter the situation. With the only active one in the hands of Michael Starfury, it is unlikley that it will be used in anything other than an extremely dire situation. Whilst Sparkplug's disintegration effect takes at least ten seconds, Blastwave's is instantanious and can not only fire through targets, but hits multiple targets at once.

8/ M.R.G. This weapon is in extremely heavy lockdown in the Argos crater Facility. Access is restricted to all personnell. This astonishing weapon has the ablility to scramble the genetic makeup of its target, killing all but the sturdiest of opponents. Starfury himself said that he would rather destroy the weapon himself than let it get into enemy hands, so the lockdown on it is stronger, and better guarded, than all the worlds' leaders combined. Unlike Sparkplug and Blastwave, the M.R.G. is an explosive with force equal to that of a nuclear bomb confined to about two centimetres of space.

9/ Xenotech. Xenotech is an unstable technological compound that was injected into several of the Argos Facilities test subjects. When enraged or seriously injured, Xenotech took control of its host and transformed them into an armoured killing machine. With no remorse, fear or limitations on what it could do, Xenotech would then go on a rampage. The only person who can control their Xenotech is Bane of the Hunter's Guild. It is unknown how he manages to keep his mind when transformed, but it is a very welcome skill.

Augment Breeds (Broods.)

History:

Originally, the Underground was a extremely Top Secret science facility on the moon called Hoven. It was here that the first true Augment was born. Nicknamed Hazard, he, his sister and his brother Flare were brought up and taught a wide array of things, knowledge that they soon taught to the next generations. But soon they learned their true reason for being and understandably lost their temper when the security was instructed to kill them. Soon the station was devoid of all but the smallest traces of human life; they had no wish to kill children. After a few years, the station was discovered by the Alliance, and it was investigated. When the humans sent there discovered the Augments, they hurriedly told the administration back on Earth, who told them to kill as many as possible. Men, Women, even Children were murdered in cold blood before Hazard and Flare got to the intruders. After seeing his fellow men torn limb from limb, the commander of the mission reported the news and was gruesomely killed with the mic turned on. It was here the the Mutenagenix war started. Although History has several different versions of the story, the facts clearly show that the Human race was losing the war for ten long years. When the Androids were first deployed into the battle to fight for humanity, the tables turned quickly in favor of the Humans, and it took but one month for a final assault to be launched unto the Moon. it took ten minutes of Heavy fighting before the remaining four thousand, two hundred and one civillians surrendered, hiding deep within the facility. The white flag was ignored by soliders, and the helpless civillians fled the persuing lines of humans, who were called off by their leaders at the last minute.

The battered, almost homeless civillians had nowhere to turn to when the war was over, and most of Hoven was either demolished or uninhabitable. facing the demise of their species, they turned a hopeful hand to the people of Earth for assistance, which was given with reluctance from the Planets' many leaders. They were given safe Harborage on the colonies of Curse, and the reconstruction was begun. It took five years but the entire colony was repaired, and it's civillians and leader were thankful. They gave to each of the other four factions special gifts, which were also taken with reluctance. The gifts were, literally, special adaptions to each of the different Breeds. Alliance was given a Phoenix, whose body, and egg, glowed blue instead of red. Abyss was given a choice, as they had offered help to the Undergrounders first, and they chose a Canis Sapius, named Maxwell, who is about the size of a small Motorcycle, and he is their new Mascot. Harlequin was given an extremely important gift, two in fact. It's first gift was a Draco Nobilus, a Dragon now named Queenie; she was the first recorded example of an Ice dragon. And a small puppy in a basket of Wattle was recently presented to the Prime Minister of Australia, named Bindi. She is the first living Thylacine in almost 300 years. And finally Curse was given a Felis Sapius, who had been named Guide. She was unique in being capable of breathing underwater. Sadly, Guide died in an incident a month after her acceptance. It is unknown if Curse has offered a requet to Underground for a new Familiar.

In the seven years that followed the war, the Undergrounders had somehow kept their population to under 45 thousand, and it was soon discovered that Alliance and Abyss had left a special biological compound in the colony that made any attempts at breeding naturally futile, and the Undergrounders were soon evacuated while the station undertook decontamination. The people who had ordered the substance to be left on the colony were secretly in a group called "Terra Familis" or Terrans for short, a group of people who had a rather over dislike for the Undergrounders. The officials were taken to trial for crimes against Humanity. The trial took a period of three months to be concluded, during which the men were forced to look upon the people, Undergrounders, they had affected with their actions. At the trials' conclusion, the men were detained, but not before one stated:

"You detain me and my colleagues for wanting these Monstrocities out of God's world?! I spit on your name, and your Furry Abominations against the lord!"

Ironically for the man in question, an undergrounder M.D. saved his life two months later after a near-fatal heart attack. Since then, the Undergrounders have made a home for themselves in Hoven, and have been granted a previously uninhabited part of Space Colony Lore, which they built the Hunter's Guild in.

The Undergrounders come in many breeds, from canine to feline and even some (now rare) mythical breeds. Many breeds reproduce as mammals do, with live offspring. But some breeds, mainly the rarer mythical breeds reproduce with eggs, which hatch into the intended offspring. But the breeds extend much further than just humanoids, including more beastlike creatures, such as the Draconis Nobilus, the True Dragon, and the Haliaeetus Infammentria, the Phoenix.

Beastis breeds.

1/ Canis Sapius. (Wolf Familiar.) These beasts were bred almost directly for pet and household protection from common dogs. They are fiercely loyal, and are better at being pets in the fact that they can understand human speech. They are Bipedal and walk as humans do, slightly more hunched, but do not require footwear. All household familiars and Beastis must be taken to an Underground vetenarian at least once every year. Rarely do specimin reach heights greater than 3 foot, they get along fantastically with children and other animals alike.

2/ Felis Sapius. (Cat Familiar.) These beasts were bred almost directly for pet and household amusement from common cats. More expensive breeds are ones that have been bred from bigger cats, such as leopards and Panthers. They are Bipedal and walk as humans do, hunched as Canis Sapius are, but do not require footwear. All household familiars and Beastis must be taken to an Underground vetenarian at least once every year. Height averages 1-2.5 feet. Like all felines, they're very reluctant to do any actual work, but will if stressed enough.

3/ Draconis Nobilus. (True Dragon.) These beasts are among the most expensive of all bestis breeds due to the high risk involved in their egg retrieval from the Brood mother and their extensive training. Originally only for industrial protection, these lovable animals made their way into the public sector and are now sold as domestic pets. All True Dragons have their flame-ducts altered after hatching to make their flames for show, rather than use; the only exception is the Dragons used in the Hunter's Guild's third flanking garrisons, codenamed the "Trueflights." The Trueflight members are responsible for their own Welp. The most famous of these is Sarah Ironstone and her partner Snowball Ironstone. All dragons in caretaker hands must have the Surname of their owner. Draconis Nobilus females cannot bear more than three to four eggs if they breed, and the males bond with their mate, and they are feircely loyal. The only exceptions are the Brood mothers, who can produce anywhere between two to three hundred eggs per year. Dragons are very loyal to their owner once a bond is built, and will go to extremes to protect them, even getting themselves into extreme danger, staring death in the face to protect their partner. Dragons are Quadroped, walking like dogs or cats. They do not require clothing, and spaying or neutering is optional. All Dragons and Phoenixes MUST be taken to a qualified Underground vetenarian once a month. Failure to comply will cause strict penalties and fines. Height is subject to special conditions, as their wings can be hidden away within special parts of the dragon's back. usually only reaches size of about 2-3 feet with additional ~5 ft wing height*. (*Ten feet span across total.)

4/ Haliaeetus Infammentria. (Hellfury Phoenix.) These beasts are among the most expensive, and dangerous, of all beastis breeds, mostly due to the extreme heat given off by both Phoenix and Egg. Phoenixes were originally created as a mere experiment to find the source of heat damage on Underground's inside hull. What they found was a brilliant example of spontaneous evolution. The Phoenix can engulf its entire body in flame, and still be unharmed by the heat. They are perfect for manhunts and other assorted tasks, such as Caving, and even assisting miners. By staying close to the cutting wall, they burn off any gases released by the cutting. As a pet idea, it is advised that a Dragon would be a better choice for home safety, as the Phoenixes heat cannot be altered with surgery. The only Phoenixes that are used for anything other than these examples are the Phoenixes of the Hunter's Guild's fourth backup squadron, codenamed "Heartburners." The Heartburn personnell are to keep their Phoenixes under strict watch, as they are a commonly mischeivious species. The most famous (or infamous) of the Heartburns is Te'marl Clockson and his phoenix Sparky. Average size is roughly about the size of a Magpie, average of 1 ft, and the wingspan is about 3 feet. When engulphed the Phoenix emits temperatures as high as 500*c.

Humanoid Breeds.

1/ Canis Stupendous. (more commanly called Wolven.) A peculiar mixture of dumb luck and scientific brilliance brought about the most prolific (and friendly) Underground species. Effectively, Canis Stupendus are half human, half canine. They average about 5-6 ft high and are known for being jolly, fun loving people with a tendency to chase moving objects. They made up a majority of the Underground's Mutenagenix military, and have impressive strength for something of their size. Called "Doggies" by human children around the solar system, their only part in the Hunter's Guild is Markas Sumanar, one of the higher-ranking personell. Species shows a strange obsession with round objects.

2/ Felis stupendous. (More commonly called Nekokun.) Another of the strange mixes that brought about a particularly amazing species. semi-antisocial, this species is impressive in it's ability to make the average ninja like a brass band. Falling down stairs. In an extremely echoy building. Swift and nimble, they made accomplished assassins in the Mutenagenix war, and are now known to be possibly the laziest of the Humanoid Undergrounders however they have shown to be unique in the world as being the first people to make a passable meal of anything. Species shows a strange obsession with yarn and fish.

3/ Haliaeetus stupendus. (the rare Avians.) The final common brood of the Underground's population. Swift, beautiful and graceful, the Avians are truly a sight to behold en masse. Blessed with the capability of flight, the Avians are the Underground's most prolific people. Practically royalty, the Avians are friend to all, and hold some of the highest positions in the Underground's political section. Although most love to be fasionable, a greater number are like most common people and love the simple things in life. Usually standing an average 6 ft tall with a wingspan averaging 15-19 ft. Species has but a natural obsession with feathers.

4/ Draconis Sapius. (The uncommon Dragons.) Fewer than three throusand remain after the wars, as they were a prime target for human military personnell. Tall, heavily muscled and powerful, the Dragons come in a wide variety of colours and shapes, some even sporting wings like their smaller cousins. Leathery scaled skin and horns that crown their heads are their prime features, and most are employed at the Roost as Broodmaidens, caring for the Broodmother and her eggs until the young Drakes are ready to go to their owners. Species loves warmth, and has been known to buy high-powered heaters to keep their homes at unreasonable temperatures.

5/ Draconis Horribillus. (The Monstrosities.) An extreme rarity even on their home colony, Monstrosities are extremely unique. Their genetic makeup is an amazing cocktail of Dragon, Human and Phoenix genes, and several have been further enhanced with Xenotech, a Nanobotic bio-weapon. The only public-known example of the species is Bane Retribute of the Hunter's Guild. Possibly the greatest weapon ever created by human hands, their bodies are literally built for war. Created by the late disgraced scientist Dr. Ulysses Farce, they were made as the trump card for the Mutenagenix wars, but the experiment eventually turned on him when his ultimate creation, A Monstrosity which had been named Bruno, tore him in two. Most of them do the heavy work on Hoven, mainly because they can lift objects weighing in excess of nine hundred kilograms, but also because they need ample exercise, and their natural 'armour,' a growth of ultra durable, overly large dragonscales on at least seventy-five percent of their body gives them protection from most construction hazards. An unintentional release of one of the first, still a minor during transit, was the initial catalyst that started the Argos Initiative, the mission that brought the species to light. Species has a great interest in, if not demand for, personal privacy and solitude.

6/ Draconis Stupendus. (Called Abominations.) The rarest of the rare, also a special blend of Human, Dragon and Phoenix genes, however Xenotech makes up a small portion of their body, fusing with their cells and becoming part of thier genetic makeup. The only examples of the breed have never shown any evidence that the Xenotech can take control. Three are known to the Hunter's Guild's records books, including:

Felrose Starfury, Adopted daughter of General Michael Starfury.

Phillip Argyle, currently in recluse in the Undergrounds' deeper caverns.

Samantha Gregories, currently the secretary to Mc. Wheaties C.O.

All have shown strength rivalling that of Draconis Horribillus and are blessed with the gift of flight, their wings capable of lifting them to a maximum altitude of three hundered metres. The majority of this species is still in the Argos facility in bio-cells awaiting the day that humanity is ready to accept them into society and allow them to be born. Species shows an incredible aptitude for machinery.

There are more Breeds than the ones shown here, however they are incredibly numerous, and even divided into sub-breeds; the six shown are the most/least common of all the species that have a part in the Guild.

Main Alien Species.

1/ Helindra. A species from sector 3-B (commonly called Orion's Belt Cluster.) Their planet is a tropical oasis, as the trinary star system keeps their planet at a constant state of summer or spring. Humanoid, with characteristics like those of a larger, more bipedal gorilla. A flat face, dark fur and extremely strong muscles are their main characteristics, and they are passively aggressive towards Earth, much in the same way as siblings taunt each other, especially when they discovered a copy of "The planet of the Apes" Their main source of trade is as a holiday oasis, but they occassionally trade in rare trinkets and artifacts.

2/ Rindar. A species from sector A-17. Their planet is the furthest from their star, and is usually a chilly thirty below. This has never slowed them, however, as they are as close to being a werewolf as nature can take something. They do not transform back into humans after full moons, and are furry at all times of year. An unpleasent disposition and quick anger make up most of their personality, and they hate being touched my anyone who is unskilled at keeping their fur neat and smooth, fur that they groom for long amounts of time. Their main source of trade is in minerals, metals and oil, which is strangely abundant on their frozen home.

3/ Highborn. This species is from sector R-37, almost three hundred lightyears from earth. They were the main force in control of that secotr of space until Humans showed up and colonised Hellen'aht. When the human colony was discovered, the Highborn attacked, almost crippling the entire populace of ten thousand humans. They sent diplomatic personnel to Hellen'aht shortly before a brief scuffle began. They soon organised a peace treaty with the humans of the colony, and have become probably the Earth's most prolific ally since. Whilst Hellen'aht is now under the control of the Higborn as their new homeworld, the Earth still has contacts on the planet, and cautious archaologists dig ruins discovered in far corners of the planet. The Highborn are a war based race, their main exports being weapons and military knowledge, but they have a booming archaeology and mining business far greater than that of the Rindar. They're a mostly human species, the main difference being a tail, fur, scale-like plates, and a muzzled face. They're covered in a light brown fur coat, and they have a crest on their foreheads of three spikes. There are three seperate 'breeds' of Highborn; the Nobleblood, who are the heirachy and more humanoid of the common breeds, the Warblood, who are the common peoples, which feature digigrade legs and have a less cheerful disposition, and the Crest. The Crest are, in effect, the rarest of the whole species, and their crests are different, however there is little difference between them and the Nobleblood. The Crest are treated like royalty, and are a female only breed.

4/ Metroids. A Phazon core on Hellen'aht broke through the dimensional barrier and was discovered by the human population on the planet at the time, deep within the core they discovered Pride, the first Metroid known to mankind. He was already a League, the next step on from Prime, but was still in his protective shell, terrifying the scientists until he broke out of it. He single handedly fought the Highborn into submission on the human's behalf, and has since had the opportunity to create an offspring, Priss. As a Metroid, he has the ability to drain pure life energy from any living entity or energised matter, including the highly radioactive Phazon. He is immune to the deadly element's mutenagenic and radioactive properties. He is also near invincible, vulnerable only to a projected shot of pure Phazon energy. His power over Phazon matter is impressive, as he can manipulate it in many ways, even capable of creating 'warp' points over incredibly long distances. He has a daughter, Priss, who he somehow created from Phazon. Under his constant watch, she is maturing quickly. The Metroids currently known to the Guild are passive, simply wishing to live out their own lives. Metroids do not have a home world in this reality, and there are no exports.

5/ Archethal. All but extinct. They were a proud people, rich in culture and history, that inhabited sector E-32, fifteen light years from earth. Michael Starfury delegated peace treaties to have them join the Terran Space Alliance, and they eventually did join, but only a short few years later the Polari obliterated the Archethal people. Yellow fur and muzzled faces with pointed ears that topped their heads and horns framing their faces, a thin tail with a puff of fur at the tip and pawed feet, they were swift and extremely Just. They were warlike in some respects, but their main exports were food and trade, primarily in fine cloth. They had a deep love for good music, and would go to great lengths to get it. The only remaining 'survivor' of the species is Sybil 'Cibbie' Heritance, the princess to the royal throne. Her family has the genetic trait of bright red hair.

6/ Polaris. Warlike race with no trade other than in the complete destruction of other species. Their technology is based around converting others, living or dead, into their species. This is done much like the Strogg or Borg, where cybernetic implants are grafted to the body, usually in the form of entire arms or legs being replaced. Extremely dangerous and completley ruthless, they sweep across the galaxy in search of the next species to be pulled into the fold. The entire species is controlled by a head figure, location and name unknown, who controls them through an implant on their chests, a large green crystal panel covering a communications implant which glows when the individual dies or is disconnected from the 'Hive'.
