Shy is cute (part 7)
I slowly woke up, stretching out and noticing my legs are a little sore from either all of the walking or the position I fell asleep in. "Good morning Vic" I said in a slightly raspy voice.
He shook his head to wake himself up "g-Good morning, Jax" he said.
"how did you sleep?" I asked.
"Good" he replied before questioning "and you?"
"Pretty good, I seem to sleep easy with you right here... But my legs are a little sore" I replied.
He nodded "I'd normally offer a massage, but I don't know how to do legs"
"Thats okay" I said as I slowly stood "I'm sure it'll go away" and offered him a hand to help him up. He took my hand and I quickly pulled him up into a tight hug. He let a little chuckle out.
I looked around the room "I'm still just... Astonished by this place!"
He smiled and tried to bury his face in my chest to hide his pride and blushing "t-thanks"
I pretended to slow dance with him, while he had his head hidden, but he soon looked up "what are you doing?" he asked.
"oh, just messing around..." I said "your pretty fun"
"thanks" he smiled "you too"
I let him go and stretched my legs out, the soreness fading a little "You got much food here?" I asked.
"Uh... Mostly things that take a long time to spoil, but it would be no trouble to make a meal out of it" he replied.
I started to the kitchen "I'm going to see what I can make us"
He nodded "I'll be in another room... Working on something, tell me when it's ready"
"no problem" I said as I walked into the kitchen.
I looked through a bunch of cupboards and drawers, the easiest thing to make here is a can of corn, but sadly theres no butter. I guess he doesn't come out here often enough to bring something like butter that can spoil easily... Hopefully we'll spend lots of time here.
I found a few packs of those instant roman noodle bowls, these are easy enough to make, I put a pot of water on the stove to boil.
Than it hit me. Running water, how the heck did he get running water out here!
I rushed to the room he was in and knocked on the door before opening it a little. "Don't come in!" he shouted with a jump.
I almost slammed the door "sorry" I said "but I wanted to know how you got running water out here?"
"Oh, that" he replied "I built a dam in the little river near by to build pressure and than laid a pipe from there to here... It's got a nice bit of pressure"
"wow" I said "not just cute... but smart too"
He wend silent, probably blushing too hard to reply.
"well, I'm going to finish making our food, i'll let you know when it's ready" I said.
"t-Thanks"
I went back to the kitchen, the water was almost boiling. I've never seen a generator that could power a stove, but seeing what Vic has already done with this place, I believe it's something he made.

After we ate, Vic said "I didn't know instant noodles could be so good... How did you do it?"
I shrugged "I'm just really good at cooking and baking... But putting a bit of love into it never hurts"
He smiled "thats good to know, I suck at cooking"
"thats okay" I said as I got up from my chair, heading to the gaming room to relax on the couch "I don't mind making food for us"
"thanks" he replied, following me.
We sat on the couch, I soon turned to him and gave him a big kiss "I don't think I said it yet today, but I love you"
He blushed "you don't have to say it every day"
I gave him a little push and pinned him on his back, my face only an inch or two from his "yes I do" I said "you know why?"
"w-why?" he nervously asked, blushing his cute blush.
"because it's true and I want you to never forget it" and I gave him another long, passionate kiss.
