Someone I Hold Dear
With memories nine years past,
Come to the surface at last.
A friend I hold very near,
Reminds me of someone I held very dear.
It is with this I am able to say,
What my heart almost locked away.
You brought me closer to the light,
And made me feel oh so right.
I just want to say; Thank you for being my friend,
And hope to remain so till the end.
*This is a poem that came to me after a heartfelt conversation with a big hearted cheetah. All I will say is that he knows who he is, and hopes that he likes this piece as it is dedicated to him. Idk if the punctiation is right and dont care if it isnt as this is me speaking my heart.
