It was recently brought to my attention that I've been perceived as an Indigo Child. What is an Indigo Child? Fantastic question! I don't know. Join me while I learn!

This poem is the first of a mini series I'm going to do about Indigo Children. This is the first, an introduction to Indigo behaviors. I will write a poem that matches whatever I learn about this topic.

I'm certainly writing this series more for myself. I'd like to be able to organize this information. I sincerely hope you enjoy this series! I wrote this on 12/17/2017.

The Indigo Soul

Call me Indigo. Beyond the shades of color, Known by soul, The world's hidden truths.

Call me Indigo. Join me on this planet, Where we're meant to be, A home for the soul.

Call me Indigo. Purpose and path known, Never doubt placement, A life meant to live.

Call me Indigo. Prestigious and fair, Confidence overflowing, In mind, heart and soul.

Call me Indigo. To introduce innovation, Perspectives and solutions, Easing life's tasks.

Call me Indigo. Slavery cannot steer, Inner strength, independence, Never by command.

Call me Indigo. Patience fleeting, Disinterest is persuasive, Time not to waste.

Call me Indigo. Above the creative norm, Intellect and color, Required to entertain.

Call me Indigo. Like souls bond, Isolation, imminent, Friends rare and deep.

Call me Indigo. Vocalizing necessities, When aid is required, Neglect, impossible.

Call me Indigo. Spiritual by nature, Aware and knowing, Memories to transcend.
