Before I go father than needed, let me explain
To be as one can, is expected with some amount of pain
Struggle is a word spoken in place of frustration
Though many a time, the definition is re-written from ones own hesitation
Had a conversation with someone I didn't know
It left me blunt, giving an answer they could be
Though, it began to show, it wasn't my point of view, it was just from me
Their mentality was so certain of a higher understanding on their part
I had ripped away the thrown they sat on, leaving them unwilling to realize the words were only a point they had overlooked, it was just the start
The shame I saw in delusional eyes was hard to look at
They simply stopped talking & made an excuse to walk away
I was no better or worse from where I sat
I jus hoped they heard enough to maybe change the ignorance they showed for the day
"One shouldn't assume for others what is best
Learning to keep an "open-mind" is a "never-ending" test"
