Mission:

After several hours merged with Aki, and for a bit with Tibri as well, Kajiit was once more reverted back to his own form and after a quick dinner was brought back to the teleportation pad. Once Kajiit was back on the Silvercobra he was informed that they were about to jump to the destination of their mission, which was on a planet that was only a few lightyears away from their current position. Tibri recommended that while they jumped for him to get some sleep for the hours that they would be in hyperspace. With the rigors of having two symbiote experiences he was more than accepting of the advice and went back to the captain's quarters. No sooner did he get into the room and flopped down on the bed he fell asleep, not even bothering to cover up as he passed out.

When Kajiit awoke once more it was to the sound of a loud beep coming from somewhere in his room. He got up and stretched, then looked over to see that the viewscreen flashed with the words incoming call on it. As soon as he activated it he saw Tibri's face fill the screen to inform him that they were about to reach their destination. The bobcat almost immediately got out of his bed and washed up, by the time he was done the display in the wall showed a bright green ball that was their planet destination. Kajiit looked at it in awe; most of the land appeared to be covered with lush jungle or bright blue waters.

The bobcat got on his spacesuit and walked his way up to the bridge, though before he got there he saw Tibri motion for him to follow. "You're with us on this mission," he stated simply as Kajiit followed close behind. "Got a small exploration party heading down to the planet surface to investigate the feasibility of long-term colonization. Pretty standard mission in all honesty, only reason that we've been called in this particular case is due to some strange readings that were picked up by the probe."

"Strange readings?" Kajiit asked. "Like, radiation?"

"No, nothing quite as dangerous as that," Tibri replied with a chuckle. "They got a spike on their theta band detectors, which is usually an indicator that some form of sentient life lives down there. However, further scans indicate no such lifeforms anywhere on the planet, which means that they have an anomaly on their hands. That's when we come in, since our bodies are anomalies, anyway, we're often better suited to dealing with unique situations such as this one. Now we haven't detected anything hazardous on the surface, but if you don't feel comfortable going down with us on such a mission or would like a hazmat suit we'd be more than happy to accommodate you in any way."

Kajiit thought about it for a few seconds before he decided to go down with them as he was. There was no way he was going to miss out on a mission to explore an exotic planet with the crew of the Silvercobra and he trusted that they knew what they were doing. Once he had given his answer the two walked towards the back of the ship where the shuttle was waiting for them, along with Zar'diran for sample collection and Taz for security purposes. The metallic snow leopard gave both of them a nod as they boarded the shuttle and the door closed behind them. After taking a few minutes to make sure everything was secured the shuttle disembarked from the Silvercobra and streaked down to the planet below.

The actual trip only lasted a few minutes, the shuttle autopilot guiding them down into the landing zone that was chosen for their exploration. Kajiit could feel the air inside the ship heat up slightly as they broke through the atmosphere and entered the airspace of the planet itself, his excitement growing with each second. Once they had gotten through the thick cloud cover it was only another minute before they felt their momentum slow until the telltale jerk of the craft setting down shook their bodies. Once they had stopped moving everyone disconnected themselves from their harnesses and walked outside, Kajiit shielding himself from the blue glow of the sun that hung overhead.

"So far so good," Tibri said as he walked out onto the stone plateau that the shuttle had landed on, looking over the edge at the beach down below. "That atmosphere is a bit thick but nothing that commercial shuttles can't handle, and readings are showing optimal levels of oxygen for habitability so they don't have to live in bubbles. What do you think, Kajiit?"

"I think it's idyllic," Kajiit replied while he watched the waves lap onto the white sand of the beach. "Although the terrain is a bit rough, so there's not a lot of room to grow here unless you do some extensive work to the surrounding landscape. Still, you could probably just build a few huts down on the beach and turn this place into a tourist planet."

Tibri chuckled at that and crossed his arms. "I'll have to pass that suggestion on to the corp that's paying us," he said. "Speaking of which I'm going to contact that Silvercobra and tell them we've made landfall, so just hold tight and we'll set out for a proper look at the landscape pretty soon."

Kajiit nodded and sat on the edge of the stony cliff, dangling his legs over the edge as Tibri walked inside the shuttle and Zar brought out the equipment. As he waited the bobcat closed his eyes and let the sea air ruffle through his fur. He hadn't been lying when he said it was the perfect place for a vacation, his eyes closed as he listened to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach below. His body became so relaxed from the warm sun and sea breeze he almost began to feel like he was floating as his breathing became steady. Everything else around him disappeared, even the feel of the stone underneath him as he floated in his own meditative state.

As he continued to get lulled into a deeper relaxation his mind began to wander, thinking about what it might look like to have people here once the planet is colonized. People playing on the beach while skyscrapers broke up the horizon. It would likely attract all sorts of species, though as the mental video continued to play in his mind he began to see more and more of one type of alien creature in particular. It was some sort of lizardman-type alien, though they had two pairs of arms and small spikes all over their bodies. Soon the entire scene was nothing but these creatures, and as Kajiit watched they seemed to all look at him as they let out a low hissing noise...

"Kajiit!" a loud shout suddenly snapped the bobcat to attention once more, his head turning to see Tibri standing there with a pack on his back and holding another one for him. "You just gonna sit there and admire the view, or do you want to see what this place really has to offer?"

Kajiit scrambled to his feet and ran over to where the other three stood waiting for him. With a little help he was able to secure the pack to his back while the others did the same. Even though his focus was on the mission at hand he couldn't help but think back to the strange mental vision he had. The creatures he had seen were nothing like he had ever seen before, at least that he could remember, but his mind chalked it up to the thrill of exploration of a new planet. As they started to walk off the rocky plateau and into the jungle Kajiit and Zar gave each other a glance and the bobcat couldn't help but notice that the synthetic dragon seemed to have a strange look of understanding they shared with each other before they continued on into the wilderness.

For the rest of the day the group began to collect the necessary samples of flora and fauna in order to catalogue it for the corporation that was funding them. Not only was it necessary to do for possible future colonization, but also in case there was something valuable that was hidden away. Most of the time it appeared to be standard plant forms and wildlife that would be found on most planets, nothing inherently dangerous or valuable about it. For the most part they kept to a standard search grid, though as they ventured further into the land they had to abandon it in exchange for one dependent on the topography of the region. More than once Zar had to climb up one of the trees in order to see where to go next, the dragon guiding them through the past of least resistance so they could cover as much ground as possible.

As the day wore on Kajiit felt his fur, which was matted with sweat even with his environmental suit attempting to keep him cool, start to itch. At first it was just the occasional scratch, but as they continued to follow Zar's directions it became more noticeable until he actively found himself scratching his neck. He thought maybe it was because he had fur and the others were rubber and metal, but a glance to Zar showed he had begun to itch himself as well, and even Tibri scratched his skin occasionally. The only one seemingly unaffected was Taz, who continued to walk with steadfast determination.

Just as Kajiit thought to maybe bring the subject up the exploration stopped dead in its tracks, their mouths opening slightly in awe as they looked up. The jungle broke into a large clearing which housed several buildings of alien architecture, though they were little more than ruins as they slowly walked forward. "Looks like this planet wasn't empty after all," Tibri stated as he moved to one of the walls and rubbed his hand against it, the rock crumbling to dust under the pressure. "Though its previous occupants appear to have vacated a long time ago for one reason or another."

"I wonder if there's some sort of alien technology here?" Kajiit asked, his tongue licking across his dry lips before he drank some water as he scratched his throat.

"Scans didn't pick up anything like that," Tibri replied. "This may change things though, we're going to have to go back and talk to the corp before we go any further. If this is the sight of some sort of ancient culture then they're going to have to notify the alien history preservation council to do another study."

"We certainly could do that," Zar stated. "But by the time we get back to the ship the sun will be gone, perhaps we should set up camp here for the night and go back by morning." As Kajiit looked over at Zar he saw his tongue flick out past his lips, wiggling in the air for a moment before darting back in. It reminded the bobcat of the mechanical naga and wondered why he hadn't noticed the dragon doing that as well before Tibri spoke up.

"I... suppose we could stay here..." Tibri relented, scratching his own arm.

The others agreed and began to set up their camp while Taz went out to inspect and secure the perimeter. It didn't take long for Kajiit, having set up his fair share, and when they were done they had a meal shared around the fire they had set up. "So Kajiit," Tibri asked as he dug into his food. "What do you think of the exploration so far?"

"I'm having a lot of fun with you guys!" Kajiit replied honestly. "I've been on a couple explorations before but never on anything as exotic as this. Most of time the teams are either bogged down in red tape or are solely looking for things they can use as a means to fund the expedition."

"That is one of the nice things about being such an exotic crew," Taz spoke up.

"Yeah, we definitely have more free reign with our corporate ties to do what we want," Tibri added. "We could spend a week down here if we really wanted and they'd probably let us do it. What do you think Zar, want to have a week long getaway planetside with us?"

When the dragon failed to respond Tibri called out his name, then tossed a fork in his direction that seemed to snap Zar back to the conversation. "Sorry Tibri, I was a million miles away," he confessed. "What was the question again?"

"To extend our expedition," Tibri repeated. "It was just a joke, though."

"Ah... yeah," Zar trailed off as he looked back out into the distance. "We could do that... this place feels a bit like home... our home..." the other three looked at each other but before they could ask what he meant by that he stood up and announced he was finished, then took his plates and washed them off before he said he was going to check out some of the ruins and disappeared into the darkness.

When the rest finished he decided to take a quick walk around to see if he could find anything interesting before the light completely failed them. Tibri had gone into his tent for the night in order to look over their exploration reports while Zar said he wanted to see if there was anything of interest in the neighboring ruins to the left of where they camped. Tibri wanted to explore as well, but he also wanted to try and find if there was any water to bathe in to get the sweat and grime of the jungle off of him, taking one of the testing kits with him in case he could find anything. His search was rather short as he ventured further inside the city he found a basin that was filled with cool and, according to the electronic tester he dipped into it, clean liquid.

Without even thinking about it Kajiit stripped off his soaked survival suit and set it aside, letting the warm jungle air blow on his naked body. With the sun setting what had been stifling before now was downright pleasant as he felt the heat now unfiltered on his form. Had he looked inside his suit before he walked to the water he would have seen the clumps of blue fur inside it, but all he cared about was the refreshing bath that awaited him. As soon as he entered the water he felt instantly refreshed, all the heat and itching and other pains he had endured through the trip were washed away as he swam.

Kajiit took his time in the water and it was only the dying light of the day that forced him back to shore, popping up from the water and taking a few minutes to air dry as he watched the sun set. A small smile settled on his face as he realized that he was sitting naked on an alien planet that hadn't been occupied for probably thousands of years, something very few explorers could say they did. When he brought up his hand to rub his neck he stopped suddenly, his smile fading as he felt something unusual underneath his fingertips. Confused he walked over to the pool of water and looked down at the reflection, leaning in close to see a patch of blue scales where his fur used to be.

"What in the worlds..." Kajiit muttered as he looked closely at the strange mutation. As he peered even closer he suddenly saw something else reflected in the water, an image of one of those lizard aliens he saw when he first arrived. His heart began to race and he twisted his body around to confront the creature, only to find nothing behind him. When he turned back to the water to see if it was still there he jumped backwards when he saw his own reflection was replaced with an alien lizard as well.

The bobcat shouted and stumbled backwards, falling on his rear as he breathed quickly in shock. It took more than a few moments to shake the image from his mind, putting his hands against his head to try and push it out of his brain. When he finally got his thoughts under control he took a few moments to get his breathing steady, pulling his fingers over his muzzle before he set them down in his lap. Any moment of calmness he had flitted away when he saw that similar blue scales had covered his fingers and that black claws capped his fingertips.

Kajiit stumbled up onto his feet as his rational mind tried to process what was happening to him and what caused it. His first thought was the water, had he caught something that even the most sophisticated in detection equipment couldn't pick up? He knew he had to tell someone, to inform them of his potentially worsening condition. His survival suit was left behind as he began to head back to the village, only to see the familiar form of Zar walking down one of the deteriorating paved walkways.

"Zar!" Kajiit shouted. "Thank goodness you're here, I..." when the dragon failed to notice him the bobcat tilted his head in confusion, especially when he saw that the very naked male passed right by him and continued to walk into one of the more intact stone buildings. "Zar? Zar'diran?"

The rubber creature pushed past and Kajiit couldn't help but wonder what had gotten into him. Though he wanted to follow him inside the ancient chamber of knowledge he had to tell someone... something... his mind went blank as he tried to remember what it was he had run up to Zar in the first place. Part of his mind also became preoccupied as he tried to figure out how he knew what the rubber dragon was walking into in the first place as he found himself following behind. By the time he had made up his mind; however, the black latex creature had disappeared into the darkness, though his eyes adjusted almost unnaturally quickly to it where he could see the hallway in front of him.

The bobcat didn't find himself in darkness for long as he saw a doorway in the distance, one where a soft glow seemed to come from it. With no other possible pathways he knew that was where Zar had to be, though the reason why was still a mystery to him. Opting for stealth he crept towards the doorway, staying low to the ground and keeping to the shadows as long as possible as he got up to the stone arch. When he slowly poked his head into the room he saw Zar standing in the middle of a large circular chamber, surrounded by crystals that glowed with an unnatural light. As he looked at them Kajiit began to hear a buzzing in his ears and his vision watered slightly until he realized he was staring at them, tearing his gaze away so that he could see what was happening with Zar.

In the light of the crystals Zar looked different then he had before, the rubbery shine of his skin broken up by the texture of scales that had not been there before. He also had a number of small spikes that adorned his skin and his feet were slightly more bestial than before, looking more like eagle talons then his normal feet as they began to step towards one of the crystalline rods. Kajiit was unable to move as the dragon began to mutter something in a dialect that he couldn't understand, though he could catch several of the words as he watched Zar reach out. Even before he made contact with the strange stones Kajiit could see his claws begin to grow thicker, as well as the scales that thickened and split his rubber skin before he finally grabbed hold.

The effect was instantaneous; Zar let out a cry as his entire body arched back, his draconic features becoming more reptilian in nature as he grew in both height and stature. His already long tail stretched out behind him as several more spurs grew out from the end, a row of them growing up his back and ending at the top of his head as a second pair of horns grew just below the second, followed by a third. The most dramatic change though was the lumps that grew out from his sides, hands forming at the ends as they stretched out until a second pair of arms joined the first in grabbing onto the crystal. As his cry turned into a hiss Zar's fangs grew longer, his muzzle contorting slightly as his head reshaped into a more alien configuration.

When his transformation appeared to subside Zar grew still, his body quivering slightly as his eyes opened... both sets of them. The alien creature slowly turned towards the area where Kajiit continued to stand, his eyes all staring directly into his. The bobcat's immediate reaction was to run and tell someone but he couldn't get his muscles to move or his fingers to stop clutching the stone. There was a loud snap as Zar pulled the crystal off of the stone and moved towards him, and with every step the buzzing in Kajiit's ears continued to grow louder. When he finally was able to move again all he could do was fall backwards, holding onto his head just in time to feel his ears flatten and melt into his skull.

"You are one of us..." Zar hissed, his tongue sliding out past his lips as he held the crystal towards him. Unlike with the former dragon Kajiit's transformation was far more pronounced as he felt the fangs slide out of his lengthening muzzle, pupils contracting to slits as a foreign presence invaded his mind. The alien psyche continued to thrum in his mind that this body was his, and though Kajiit continued to squirm on the ground the relentless pulsing of the energy crystal made it a losing battle. His feet pushed up in the air as they lengthened into a similar bestial configuration like Zar's did, talons flexing as he felt his fur continue to get replaced with hardened scale.

"Zar... please..." Kajiit managed to get out of his transforming mouth, reaching up with a hand as he felt his torso lengthened. "This isn't you..." Kajiit's voice continued to deepen as he suddenly began to see everything with a strange double vision until he felt his second pair of eyes blink. "This... is me..."

The transforming bobcat was interrupted as he let out a sharp gasp, his side muscles stretched out before he saw a scaled pair of hands that weren't his own begin to reach for the crystal being held in front of him. His thickening tail twitched behind him as he tried mentally to stop them, only to feel the growing alien consciousness in his mind push them further. When they grew out to their full length they grabbed hold of the crystal and instantly Kajiit felt himself drown in the information being downloaded into his brain.

He saw scores of aliens just like him, the reptilian race close to, but not yet spacefaring, when they realized their entire civilization was about to be wiped out. In desperation they devised the crystals that he had found, a way to sublimate the consciousness of their people into a form hardy enough to endure the cataclysm. When it passed all they had to do was wait... wait for another sentient race to become their hosts so they may live again. The creature known as Zar was the easiest to manipulate, being of another race of a similar nature they merely overrode the symbiote to gain control of his body. Their next target was thankfully in the proximity of their first conquest, the being known as Kajiit's psyche was pushed aside by the powerful psychic forces of the alien species that took control of his body.

When the newly-created alien reptile let go of the crystal rod his entire body slumped backwards, the two looking at each other with a mixture of excitement and lust from their latest conquest. Even though Kajiit was still a separate entity he couldn't help but feel his thoughts get overwritten by the alien essence possessing him, one that hadn't had a body in a very long time. One thing that was still similar to both races they had taken over were their groins, save for a tapered length and line of fleshy ridges that went down the underside, and though they could feel the other's erection throb against them they knew they had work to do. Despite that they still took a few minutes to grope and rub their scaled forms against one another, the small spikes that lined their pectorals and other places pressed erotically against their hardened skin...

Once they shared one last, incredibly passionate kiss with their new tongues the two aliens pulled away from one another and began to stalk their way back to the camp. The alien once known at Kajiit held the crystalline rod in his left hands as their night vision allowed them to move silently through the jungle at ease. From the knowledge they had assimilated from their hosts they knew if they could get the jump on the remaining two it would make things much easier. They had their entire race to revive after all...

Meanwhile Tibri sighed as he looked over his mission reports, one hand idly scratching his groin while the other held the tablet in his hands. He had just informed the Silvercobra of their intent to stay for an extra day and had to argue with Akidumaru for nearly half an hour on the fact that he changed the protocol. Though part of him knew that he hadn't done right by changing the mission parameters, they had found something of significant importance that had to be catalogued before they left. Plus it wasn't like there were any dangers in their area, he thought to himself as he reached up with his free hand and absentmindedly scratched the scaly patch where his feline ear used to be.

Suddenly a noise outside his tent caused him to bolt upright. From the clock on his tablet he knew Taz hadn't made his rounds yet and he thought that Zar and Kajiit had gone out to explore the ruins a bit. When he stepped outside his tent to be sure it wasn't them he realized that it was night out, though it was strange to him since it didn't look much darker than when the sun was up. What he failed to notice were the two sets of four eyes staring at him from the underbrush, the glowing crystal held low to the ground to obfuscate its light as they observed their prey.

The alien that was Kajiit licked his lips as he saw that the other creature, which he knew from his host as the Anarki, had already begun its conversion to one of their kind. They could see his thicker tail swing clumsily behind him as Tibri moved further out into the clearing. The two aliens moved from their vantage point in a flanking maneuver as the rubber tiger continued to scratch his crotch, unaware of the mutated cock that had begun to tent his survival suit. When he called out into the darkness the names of his crewmates and heard nothing he shrugged and began to move back towards his bed.

The Anarki master only made it a few steps before he was knocked onto his hands and knees by a sudden force behind him. When he tried to get up again he felt a second weight drop down on his shoulders and keep him there, when the tiger looked up he gasped at the winged alien reptile that looked down at him. Both creatures had him effectively pinned to the ground as the alien behind him held the crystal tightly in one pair of hands while the other ripped the already-stretched survival suit from the tiger's thighs. Kajiit could only watch powerless as his own cock pressed between the changing male's cheeks as the alien pushed the lengthening tail aside and pressed the crystal against Tibri's head.

Tibri's entire body shuddered and spasmed as like Zar his rubbery flesh was replaced with hardened scale, cascading down his body as the two aliens decided to make use of their newest host's changing form. A second set of arms reached down to brace the newly minted alien's body as Kajiit's alien pushed his cock between the expanding, scaled flesh of his rear. At the same time a second cock was shoved in between the heavy fangs of the reptilian mouth of the male between them, another set of eyes joining the first as he took the entire length in one ravenous swallow until it pressed against his throat. The three aliens could no longer hold in their lusts, they had new bodies for the first time in ages and they were going to break them in properly.

If Kajiit had control of his muzzle he would have groaned loudly at the pleasure he was getting from his body, the alien dominating him as much as he was the converted creature in front of him. Not only that but he could also feel what the other two aliens were experiencing as well, just like what Tibri had said the Anarki were like when they were psychically linked. Though he had experienced a taste of it when he was temporarily transformed into a symbiote it was nothing compared to what he felt through the aliens that had taken them over. It was as though he experiencing both thrusting and being thrusted into, a blissful sensation that he wouldn't fight back against even if he could against the alien that possessed his body.

Before any of the three could really get into it; however, they stopped when they felt the presence of someone else in the clearing, the two aliens who didn't have their mouth and tailhole stuffed turned to see the metal snow leopard at the edge of the clearing with his arms folded across his chest. They were surprised that the bulky creature had gotten the drop on them so easily, but they weren't going to let themselves get disadvantaged by it. With one alien buried hilt-deep inside the hole of another the winged reptile pulled his still stiff member out of the other's mouth and grabbed the crystal that laid next to him. Taz refused to move a muscle as the alien approached him, holding the glowing rod at him as he got ready to convert the last member of their team.

Taz rolled his eyes and grabbed the crystal swung at him with one hand and pressed the other against the alien's chest, the creature only having a second to look down before the built-in taser sent a surge of electricity though their body. The creature spasmed for a few seconds in the robot's grip before he fell backwards, his fingers and toes twitching slightly as Taz got on the radio. "Silvercobra, this is exploration team, we're going to need conversion containment protocols ready and a tactical team to secure three..." the snow leopard paused slightly as he felt the hand that held the crystal itch, looking down to see his metal skin form into scales as claws pushed out from his fingers, "make that four infected crewmen..."

Departure:

When Kajiit awoke once more he found himself still inside an isolation capsule, though his mind was foggy on how he got there, he remembered that he and his fellow explorers had been turned into strange alien creatures by the crystals on the planet's surface. As he looked through the pane of glass fixed into the metal wall of the capsule's door he saw he was back on the Silvercobra and likely in the medical wing. Suddenly the shiny white latex head of a fox appeared in the window which would have caused the bobcat to jump back had he not been confined by the tube. A few seconds later there was the hiss of gas escaping and a second later the capsule door opened with a loud swoosh, the rubber fox reaching a hand to help Kajiit out of the capsule.

"Looks like you've made a full recovery," the fox said as he began to examine Kajiit. "I'll admit you were a bit tougher than the others since you're completely organic and all, but I managed to purge the alien cells from your body and scrub the alien signal out of your mind. It's a good thing you were with us, though, any other research vessel and we'd likely have an alien outbreak on our hands."

"An alien outbreak?" Kajiit asked as he got to his feet. "Did we get infected with a virus?"

"Yes and no," the doctor explained. "The ancient civilization you found had left a sneaky little trap in the form of those crystals, they were specifically engineered to vibrate at a frequency that would change the DNA of creatures that found the place into alien versions of themselves. It's completely unheard of, so we harvested a few of them for study into the possibility of harmonic transformation, though that will have to be done very carefully all things considered."

"Very true," Kajiit replied. "Well thank you very much, Dr... err..."

The latex fox laughed and reached out his hand in greeting. "My name is Dr. Samson," he introduced. "How terribly rude of me not to introduce myself to you, Kajiit, but when most of the people you interact with are linked telepathically you forget such common courtesies. Speaking of such, Tibri contacted me to tell you that he will be on the bridge and for you to go there as soon as you recovered."

Kajiit thanked Samson for everything and walked out of the medical bay after a few more tests just to make sure he was okay. Once it was confirmed he no longer thought like an ancient alien reptile he made his way to the bridge of the ship where the Anarki master waited for him. When he got there he saw everyone at their consoles and an image of a space station in the screen. Tibri stood in the back with his arms crossed, though as soon as he saw the bobcat come in he gestured him over.

"Welcome back to the land of the living," Tibri smirked, which caused Kajiit to chuckle slightly. "Now that you're back to your former self we can make the final docking procedure to the space station, they wouldn't allow us to come in when they heard of your... condition. A spaceship full of Anarki is one thing, a possibly infectious alien lizard race would have likely put them over the edge."

"I can see why it would cause them pause," Kajiit replied as he watched them enter the station's large docking bay. "I suppose this is where we part ways?"

"I'm afraid so," Tibri replied with a small nod. "While you were a joy to have on the ship I'm afraid our contract allowed for only one mission, along with the tour of our home world. Head back to your quarters and get yourself packed up and I'll meet you there once I'm done with the final checks."

Kajiit nodded and made his way the short distance back to the Captain's Quarters to get his things. As he double-checked to make sure he had everything he couldn't help but sigh as his trip came to an end. In only a few days he had managed to experience such amazing new things, such as being an Anarki and exploring an alien planet with them. Even when he was essentially possessed by the psyche of a long-dead alien race he strangely enjoyed himself, though he was thankful that it was only a temporary endeavor. Still it was rather unfortunate it was over, a note of finality coming when Tibri appeared at the door and asked if he was ready to go while he had a backpack slung over one shoulder.

The two made their way through the Silvercobra and much of the crew that he had gotten to know passed by to say their farewells, particularly Zar and Taz as they both gave him a large hug on the way out. It ended up taking them nearly an hour to finally get to the connection tube to the station proper and Kajiit gave a final wave to those that had joined them on their walk before the spaceship door shut behind them. A short distance later the door to the station opened and allowed them through. Like the first time Kajiit found the entire terminal to be devoid of life, save for them as Tibri turned him around and gave him a big hug.

"Well I guess this is it," Tibri said before he reached around at the backpack he had been carrying and dropped it on the ground. "While you were in the isolation tube a few of the crew and I made some mementos of your time with us. Now while none of these should get you into trouble we haven't exactly cleared any of them with customs, so make sure you keep them hidden until you get to your home, alright?"

Kajiit raised an eyebrow but nodded, Tirbi grinning as he pulled out a holovid. "This is a little message that the crew made for you, something that you can play so that you don't forget about us," the rubber tiger explained before he pulled out two stainless steel tubes. "Now this is your training symbiote from both me and Aki; all you have to do to activate it is drink the contents of the vial and you'll revert back to the forms you had when the symbiote was active. Naturally it'll be missing the connection you had with us and the transformation won't be quite as long, but when it's run its course you just have to capture some of the essence again to re-experience it once again."

"Now I know what you mean by my waiting to use these at home," Kajiit remarked as he put the vials and the holovid into his bag, then as he turned back to see what the Anarki held in his hands his eyes widened. "Is that..."

"Kinda..." Tibri smirked as he placed the crystal necklace into the bobcat's hands. "We made it ourselves from some rather simple reverse engineering of the ones that we gathered since you seemed to be somewhat into it. It doesn't contain the theta signal, but it can be used to get back some semblance of their form. All you have to do is energize it with photonic light and it will give you their form again while it's charged. When you want to turn back just take off the necklace or let the charge run out."

Kajiit thanked him again and put the necklace away in the bag along with everything else. When the bobcat thought that there wasn't anything else the rubber tiger had one last surprise for him. It was a pair of dog tags with the designation of the Silvercobra on it as well as his name, the cool metal falling into the bobcat's hands as Tibri explained that as an honorary part of the crew, it wouldn't make sense for him to leave without them. They shared another hug and Tibri waved him off before he returned to the ship, disappearing behind the containment door as Kajiit entered the station proper.

By the time the bobcat had cleared the mandatory security checkpoint, which made him slightly nervous considering the gifts he had been given, he was just in time to see the Silvercobra leave the station. He knelt on the small ledge of the plexiglass that separated him from the docking pay, watching with a smile on his face as the spaceship floated out into the darkness of space before it disappeared. As he stood there and watched he was unaware of someone watching him, glowing green eyes watching from the window of a nearby noodle shop. When Kajiit felt the other creature's gaze he turned and looked behind him, only to see an empty chair and bowl there.
