My Destiny

Arrival in the Capital

It was weeks later we had crossed many provinces and saw many magistrates. The weeks were long and grueling and we all wanted to relax for a bit being on the move all the time is horrible. This is the warriors curse. I loathe it but fame doesn't come easily.

The capital was huge it made me marvel at the fact that it was so huge. There was of course a parade upon the emperor's arrival. He was a good man though I believe he had a dark past that he wouldn't speak of. He was quiet, but even too quiet for a cat. He was as if he was a ghost, not a cat.

I could never voice my opinions for that was treason. The act of such would have me stripped of my honor leaving a shell of what I am today. I could never do that I would never do that any way he was truly a great master of whatever he was before.

After the short parade there was time to d whatever I wanted. I went to a local dojo; they were all sparing with one another. They were moving relatively slow though most said I moved rather fast. I looked around for someone to fight. I was just a kimono and obi, so I wasn't hampered by weight, probably a stupid move in hind sight a stupid idea.

I found someone who looked up to my level. Time would only tell if he was though considering my past training. I bowed to him and got into a fighting stance. I let him strike first and I blocked him easily. I continued to let him try to hit me and I continued to block him. I finally got tired and struck him in a rapid flurry. After I was done he collapsed in a stupor. He would be out for several hours based on how hard I hit him.

Bored I left seeing that there would be no one who was up to my level of intensity. They didn't seem to care although they were shocked that I had taken him down so easy. I was just too good, in a simple stetting.

"You look like you could a special deal," a sea turtle said.

"Who is the judge of that, might I ask," I said demandingly.

"This one is," he said while pointing to himself.

"Well this one thinks you have brain rot," I said incredulously.

I then walked off; in no particular direction of choice. I had never been I a place so filled with life yet so dead to it. The planet was buzzing around them and none seemed to care. I found this appalling, never in the towns I had visited before were this dead to the birds and other wild life around them it pisses me off...

Short I know this I have a harder time with this series for me to write.
