I got home, unlocked the door went upstairs realising it was only 11am... decided to have a shower. I looked in the mirror and saw Kyle in the reflection.
I turned around stunned and exclaimed "KYLE?! How... what... Why are you here?". Kyle slowly walked over towards me, he wasn't angry which is what I expected. He came into the light and on the left side of his muzzle was deep red and dripping blood. I asked "wha.... what happened?".
Kyle looked at me and said softly "My... dad came home this morning, I told him I was gay..". I paused for a moment whilst feeling sympathy for this poor furr. "How long is your dad down here for?" I asked, he replied, sadly with "Just today and tomorrow...". I couldn't believe what I was going to say, but I said it anyway "If you want, you can stay here? Until your dad goes that is..." Kyle's eyes lit up as he heard me finish my sentence "But you have to understand... Nothing can happen between us... ok?". His eyes still lit up with happiness as he said "Yeah, I understand... Is Narei coming over sometime?". I looked at him "Yeah... I suppose you better brace yourself and get ready to apologize" I said with a crack of a smile on my face.
My phone rang in my pocket, making me jump a little... This always happens whether it's in school or at home, I always jump when my phone rings on vibrate. I picked it up and answered it. "Hello?". A familiar voice came through on the other side "Hey, you mind opening your door?". I looked puzzled at the front door "Why?". Narei giggle and said "So I can come in ... why else?". I paused as I tried to hide my stupidity and went to open the door and hung up the phone. I was greeted by a long big hug from Narei. I looked sternly at him and said "I knew I said come over, but it's only been an hour and half since I got home from Apollo's house". Narei just let himself in and went up stairs I shouted after him "NO DONT!" Narei stopped at the top of the stairs looking puzzled.
He slowly came back down as I stood there looking shameful, "What's up?". I answered "umm... Kyle is in my roo...". " What _ ?! _" Narei interrupted, "let me finish my sentence, He is in my room. But with good cause Narei... His dad came home today and Kyle told him he was gay. His dad hit him or something and his muzzle is red raw and bleeding." Narei looked at me, trying to see if I was telling the truth, he settled and softly said "Fine, but if he pisses me off I swea...", "Narei!" I exclaimed, interrupting him in mid-sentence. "Sorry, but seriously...", I looked at him and said, firmly, putting him into his place "You will NOT do anything to Kyle. You understand me?" Narei nodded, in sudden shock at my stern mood "I know Kyle is a little bitchy, but he has every right to be. He's been through a lot the past few months, and sometimes events in life change people. Sure, sometimes not for the best but they do." Narei, looked at me and softly said "I am sorry, I know you still care for him. But I just can't understand why or how you manage to" I replied "I don't know how I do it either."
Narei headed up stairs, with me close behind. Kyle saw us both and was more frightened by the fact Narei was stood right in front of him. Narei laughed a little and said "Dude, its cool. Luke explained everything. I'm sorry for earlier" whilst rubbing the back of his neck". Kyle looked at me smiled then looked at Narei "I don't know why your apologizing." he looked down at the floor "I was the one in the wrong... I should be sorry. Which I am". Narei looked up at Kyle, looked into his deep blue eyes and softly said "You should be more grateful about Luke, I don't know any other guy that would still care for his... ex... more than once.". Kyle looked up at Narei "I know... You're going to be very happy, I can tell. You two are perfect together" Me and Narei both looked up at Kyle in shock "What?" Kyle laughed. I muttered out "Uhhh, well, errr, we're not actually technically... going out." Kyle laughed at this and proceeded to say "Is this your unsure thing you do? The thing we all know you for?" I mocked Kyle's response "Don't make me slap you on the other side!" Kyle laughed, sat back and turned the Xbox 360 on and began playing Halo 3.
Narei, decided my computer was where he preferred to be... Playing Sims 3 and I, well I sat on his lap playing on my iTouch.
I had an IM from my best friend, the one you could share absolutely everything with... Mainly because she had been through it all... took physiology in higher education and had the same traits as me, Bianca. She was a beautiful blonde lab. She also had blue eyes, but they were not deep, or light blue. They were steel blue, dreamy eyes. Bianca asked, over the IM "Hey Luke, sorry we haven't spoke in a while. I noticed you were hanging out with a new guy... what's going on here then ;) I'm coming over in 3 hours. You'd better not get my drunk like last time!"... That's a story for later, let's just say it involved getting intoxicated, laying on the floor talking and then somehow ending up licking her muzzle the entire night.
I told Kyle and Narei that Bianca was coming over, Narei hadn't met Bianca before, he knew her as one of the "cool group" from school and shied away from approaching them. Kyle on the other hand, was one of Bianca's friends, although not by choice and Bianca kind of liked Kyle.
She got frustrated at me when I was with Kyle, which is quite funny in itself. We all sat in the living room watching various TV programs and films for the most part, the back door slowly opened as Bianca stepped through, trying to be quiet and wanted to make us three jump. I had heard the door open and I yelled out "We know you're here, you might as well come and join us Bianca!". Narei looked at me as if I was talking to myself. I heard Bianca mutter under her breath at the disappointment of being caught. Bianca walked through the door and Narei became shy and tried too hard to not be himself. Bianca looked at Narei, looked at me and said "Soooo...? You going to answer my question?". I looked at Bianca, smiled and returned an answer "Maybe later, see how things pan out" I returned to watch the TV as Bianca went through to the kitchen to greet with Kyle.
I looked across at Narei and he looked back, His eyes were so lush, we sat there for around 5 minutes before I said "I Love You." I looked deeper into his eyes "I really do." Narei grabbed my paw, and replied with "I love you too, more than anything in the world". I got down from the arm of the couch and sat next to Narei, my muzzle buried into his chest breathing his scent through my nose. Bianca walked back into the room and burst out into laughter. I sat up and looked at her and questioned her actions. She replied "You know what I'm laughing about, apparently Kyle came into your house without your permission and now he's staying the night...". I looked at Bianca, then Narei. Narei hadn't known about Kyle letting himself in and this made Narei slightly frustrated. I replied to Bianca "In all fairness... It was a pretty urgent moment though." Bianca nodded as she agreed. Narei also seemed to calm and agree to what I said. Kyle walked in, sat down and we all looked at him. Kyle looked up from his sandwich and saw us all looking at him and asked "What are you all looking at me for?" Bianca giggled, as did I and Narei. Bianca thought she'd help out in this situation and wiped some mayonnaise off his snout. Kyle giggled and sighed.
Bianca left, she had to go into town tomorrow and wanted to get an early night so she wouldn't be grumpy with her parents whilst in town. She found it was the only way to bear them. Kyle headed off to the shops to get some food with some of the money in the jar by the sink. Me and Narei were left alone in the living room. Narei started the conversation with "So, I hear that you and Kyle... were like on and off constantly?" He looked deeply into my eyes "Are you going to do the same with me?" I looked at him, with a tear rolling down my muzzle, grabbed his paw and said "No. I wouldn't ever do that to you. I loved you the moment I set eyes on you and I couldn't bear seeing you walk away" I moved closer to him, and spoke softly "I love you Narei. Nothing is ever going to change that". The wolf looked at me, deeply, he moved and put his head on my chest and hugged my tight, he looked up and whispered "I love you too...".
Kyle came back an hour later, with five bags of shopping. Me and Narei stood there stunned, I exclaimed "How did you buy five FULL bags with only $15?!". He looked at me and chuckled "you don't think I have my own money as well". I smiled and walked back up to my room, Kyle said he was going to stay in the living room and watch the TV and then go to bed. Me and Narei headed towards my room, I sat on the edge of the bed and looked up at Narei, "Do you want to share the same bed?" He nodded eagerly. I took my clothes off, leaving just my boxers and Narei stared endlessly at my body. I sighed and laughed, "You going to take yours off? Or what?" He snapped out of his dream and took his off and got into bed. We lay next to each other looking into each other's eyes. "You know, You still haven't me out" I laughed, Narei smiled and said softly, calmly and lovingly "Luke, Will you go out with me?" I stared at Narei for a minute, the moment of suspense as we all know it, very well also and replied softly "Yes."
