Well, new place... New friends... Gaia, I don't even know where to start.
A week ago I was involved in a store robbery. Got myself shot for my troubles... obviously, I'm fine now, except for a busted humerus. Not very funny. Been stuck in hospital until early this morning... It felt like a lot longer than a week. No computer, so no diary.
I'm in love with my new dorm room. It's not the height of technology, and I wasn't that impressed at first glance... the furnishings are spare, but what IS here is quite nice. The bed is fantastic, despite the... er... protective measures taken on it. At least a twin size, built into the wall with storage space below. It's like a mini room in here. There's a privacy shield around the bed that has noise cancelling tech, even in the curtain you can pull around it... you can talk, play music, watch tv or be as loud as you like on one side, and not here anything at all on the other, hence why I can make this late night diary entry without waking my roommate... might come in handy. The bed is softer, not sure about that yet... But, yeah, as I mentioned, I've got a roommate now, which is something I'd avoided all through high school. We'll see how that goes. He seems... a bit young. Not at all sure about him yet. Anyway, I feel comfortable and safe in here. Like my own little den. *laugh*
Any who, rambly Cat is rambly. So... Hospital Mary helped me pack and unpack ... Mary I've sorta known for ages, she's been working at the seven eleven... Louis I met properly four hours ago, though I do have a vuage memory of being on the floor and bleeding all over his hands... Okay, trying not to think about that now.
We watched Buffy together. He suggested it. It's one of my favorites. Spent most of the evening snuggled up, and Oh goddess am I glad that he padded me first, I was pokey half the time. Not that he didn't know, but at least I wasn't popping a tent in my new PJs. He said he'd get me new ones... cute ones.
Oh godess I can't believe I told both of them about... that. I haven't told anyone. And he said I wasn't the only one in the dorm! ?Ohgaiaohgaia?(correct?)...
*sigh* Dear Gaia, I think I'm in love with him... never fallen for a guy before. The ones at school and the home were all too.. well, I dunno. Human, I guess. And all the Mosaics were too. But he... He's different. They all are, here. At least, that's what it feels like. It's so different...
Louis said he'd take me on a tour of the campus in the morning...
Mmm... getting sleepy.
